Abstract

Philanthropy is social generosity that is programmed and aimed at alleviating social problems in society (such as poverty). LazisMU is one of the institutions that carry out philanthropic activities in overcoming social problems in society. This study aims to analyze and test the role of influencers on people's decisions to become donors with trust as an intervening variable in LazisMU charitable institutions in the Ex. Karesidenan Besuki region which includes Jember, Banyuwangi, Situbondo and Bondowoso. The research questionnaire was distributed to donors as many as 250 respondents. The sample size of 250 respondents was obtained from the Slovin formula with a population of 3635 donors. Hypothesis testing was conducted to answer the research hypothesis that had been compiled previously. The results of statistical analysis show that influencer variables have a positive and significant influence on the decisions of LazisMU donors. Trust from donors has a positive impact on the decisions of LazisMU donors. The trust variable becomes an intermediary variable for the influence of influencers on the decision to become a donor to LazisMU.

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors influencing consumer purchasing decisions for A3 Fresh O2 bottled drinking water (AMDK) in Bondowoso Regency, with a particular focus on the strategic roles of price and promotion, as well as the mediating effect of consumer trust. The research is motivated by observed fluctuations in sales volume over recent years, indicating market instability. Using a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), data were collected through a purposive sampling method involving 190 respondents. The study instrument was designed to capture the relationships among price, promotion, trust, and purchasing decisions. The findings indicate that price and promotion significantly influence both trust and purchasing decisions. Furthermore, consumer trust effectively mediates these relationships, although direct influences remain more dominant than indirect ones. The study offers managerial implications including the need for enhanced digital promotion, transparent product information, competitive pricing, and loyalty programs. Future research is encouraged to include additional variables such as brand loyalty and brand image to gain deeper insights into consumer behavior

Abstract

Neuroscience is a science that studies the nervous system of the human brain. The main focus of neuroscience involves understanding how brain cells communicate. Research in neuroscience has broad implications, from understanding nerves to applications in education. Neuroscience in early childhood education is a field of research that explores the link between children's brain development and the learning process. In the Al-Qur'an there are many explanations about the brain's function for thinking with the word aql. The urgency of character education in early childhood in neuroscience can be seen from the relationship between environmental stimulation and children's brain development. By providing integrated character education, we can create an environment that supports brain and character development in early childhood. Abstract

PT Kunango Jantan is one of the private companies engaged in manufacturing and trading. One of the products produced is Street Light Pole (PJU). The production of these PJU poles also faces various challenges. Commonly faced challenges are related to several types of waste on the production floor. This research aims to identify waste on the production floor of PJU poles using a lean manufacturing approach. The results indicate that the top three waste percentages are 18.9% for transportation activities, 17.62% for waiting activities, and 15.46% for defects. Some factors causing these wastages include frequent machine breakdowns, depletion of raw materials due to the lack of raw material scheduling implementation, and frequent transportation during production. Improvement recommendations to reduce waste include scheduling machine maintenance, planning raw material control, and adjusting machine layouts to minimize repetitive transportation.

Abstract

The increase in customers who experience delays and bad debts indicates a challenge in maintaining the quality of customer relationships and loyalty, despite the bank's success in attracting new customers. Although the number of customers continues to increase, the rise in arrears and bad debts suggests potential issues in customer relationship management. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of service quality and word of mouth on customer loyalty at the BRI Jember Branch, with customer trust serving as an intervening variable. This study method employs a descriptive quantitative approach, utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) data analysis techniques processed with the WarpPLS 8.0 Application. The population in this study was 531,266 customers. The study comprised 400 research samples, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that service quality and word of mouth had a significant effect on customer trust at the BRI Jember Branch. Service quality, word of mouth, and customer trust have a significant impact on customer loyalty at the BRI Jember Branch. Indirectly, service quality and word of mouth have a significant effect on customer loyalty through customer trust as an intervening variable at the BRI Jember Branch. Regarding the moderation variable, the age variable moderates the influence of word of mouth on loyalty. On the other hand, the age variable does not strengthen the influence of service quality on loyalty. This finding has practical implications for banking institutions to continue improving service quality and enhancing word of mouth, as it has been proven to increase customer trust and loyalty.
