Abstract

Technology integration in learning is essential in this digital era to improve student interaction and understanding. This community service aims to develop and implement Flipbook Maker as an electronic learning media for Social Sciences (IPS) subjects. The methods used in this community service activity include the planning, training, implementation, and evaluation stages. First, a needs analysis was conducted to determine the material to be presented as a flipbook. Second, IPS teachers were given intensive training on integrating Flipbook Maker into the curriculum.Furthermore, the flipbooks that had been created were tested in several classes to see their effectiveness and student responses. The activity results showed that using Flipbook Maker as an electronic learning medium can increase student interest, facilitate material delivery, and enrich learning resources. The evaluation showed that most students felt more motivated and helped understand IPS material. Thus, Flipbook Maker can be an alternative and innovative learning media for IPS subjects.

Abstract

Interaksi sosial merupakan kunci dari semua kehidupan sosial, oleh karenanya tanpa interaksi tidak akan mungkin ada kehidupan bersama. Etnis Tionghoa dan Etnis Madura yang bermukim di Kelurahan Gedang pada awalnya adalah pendatang. Mereka bermigrasi ke daerah ini karena faktor ekonomi. Seiring berjalannya waktu etnis Tionghoa dan etnis Madura menjadi etnis yang dominan di Kelurahan Gedang. Adanya perbedaan etnis ini tidak menghalangi interaksi antar keduanya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi sosial antara etnis Tionghoa dan etnis Madura di Kelurahan Gedang Kota Banjarmasin.Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik dalam pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa etnis Tionghoa dan etnis Madura memiliki paguyuban yang berfungsi sebagai alat pemersatu dan pemecah masalah, apabila terjadi pertikaian diantara mereka. Interaksi sosial antara etnis Tionghoa dan etnis Madura terjalin dalam bentuk komunikasi sosial yakni dengan selalu berusaha bercengkrama dengan tetangganya. Kerjasama di bidang ekonomi, etnis Tionghoa yang memiliki kekuatan ekonomi membuka peluang ekonomi bagi etnis Madura. Kerjasama di bidang sosial, dalam berinteraksi mereka tidak membedakan etnis dan agama, mereka saling menghargai dan saling membantu dalam kehidupan bertetangga. Etnis Tionghoa juga tidak sungkan memberikan bantuan ekonomi secara langsung kepada etnis Madura yang mengalami kesulitan di bidang ekonomi. Asimilasi juga dijadikan satu diantara interaksi sosial antar etnis Tionghoa dan etnis Madura di Kelurahan Gedang.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPS di sekolah masih kekurangan referensi mengenai kelokalan. Referensi lokal adalah referensi yang diperlukan untuk memperkenalkan kepada para peserta didik terhadap lingkungannya. Buku ajar yang kita pakai memang sudah memuat sumber lokal dari beberapa daerah tetapi masih kurang, khususnya di wilayah Kalimantan Selatan pada masa Pra Aksara. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menambah refarensi lokal terutama referensi yang berkaitan dengan Kalimantan Selatan pada masa Pra Aksara. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan. Adapun sumber yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah buku offline, E-book, skripsi, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah yang relevan dengan objek yang diteliti. Data yang telah didapat kemudian berbentuk teks deskriptif dan kemudian dianalisis untuk ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil pembahasan penelitian ini membahas tentang gambaran umum materi kehidupan pada masa prasejarah yang memuat: lingkungan alam pada masa prasejarah, manusai purba pada masa holosen, kehidupan manusia pada masa holosen, dan periodisasi pada masa pra aksara. Adapun yang ke dua yaitu analisis kesesuaian pada buku IPS semester genap yang berisi tentang pembahasan analisis antara materi dan KD serta penemuan kesalahan pada buku. Penambahan materi lokal pada buku merupakan hal yang wajib dilakukan oleh guru karena materi tersebut sangat diperlukan agar peserta didik mengenal lingkungannya dengan baik.

Abstract

Nilai budaya lokal dipandang sebagai warisan sosial yang unggul, dimana nilai dari budaya tersebut dapat memiliki kebanggaan dan kebesaran martabat suatu masyarakat, juga merupakan nilai yang sangat berharga. Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal masyarakat Banjar di Kelurahan Alalak Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, pengamatan dan dokumentasi dalam pengumpulan data. Reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan digunakan dalam analisis data Sedangkan uji keabsahan data melalui perpanjangan pengamatan, member check, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian: nilai budaya Banjar; hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan konsep nilai religi, hubungan manusia dengan alam, hubungan manusia dengan manusia konsep nilai sosial, dan hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri konsep nilai moral.

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious infectious disease that is a public health challenge in Indonesia. The disease is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and has a high rate of transmission, especially in environments with low health awareness. Increasing public knowledge and understanding of the prevention of pulmonary TB is a very important preventive step in reducing the transmission rate. The Community Service Program (PkM) aims to provide information and education to the public about pulmonary TB, including its causes, symptoms, ways of transmission, and prevention efforts. This activity is carried out with a participatory approach through counseling, group discussions, and distribution of health information materials. The main target is vulnerable groups in certain areas that have a high prevalence of pulmonary TB. The implementation method includes three main stages: (1) preparation in the form of identification of needs and development of educational modules, (2) implementation in the form of implementation of counseling sessions and interactive discussions, and (3) evaluation in the form of community knowledge surveys before and after activities. The data was analyzed descriptively to measure changes in the level of public understanding. The results showed a significant increase in public understanding of pulmonary TB, especially related to prevention through a healthy lifestyle, good home ventilation, and the importance of early treatment. The evaluation also revealed the community's commitment to implement the preventive measures that have been conveyed in the activity. In conclusion, information and education through PkM are effective in increasing public awareness and knowledge about the prevention of pulmonary TB. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be carried out on a sustainable basis to support the national program to eradicate pulmonary TB in Indonesia.

Abstract

In today’s data-driven economy, pricing strategies have become increasingly critical amid rapidly evolving market conditions. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) offers new opportunities to optimize pricing decisions and strengthen competitive advantage. This study investigates the use of AI algorithms in optimizing product pricing within microeconomic contexts. Using a qualitative method and systematic literature review, it draws on publications from the past decade indexed in Scopus, DOAJ, and Google Scholar. The findings highlight that AI-based price optimization is shaped by several key factors: data availability, algorithm complexity, and the alignment of AI systems with existing business models. However, major challenges such as data bias, limited computational resources, and insufficient organizational readiness often hinder successful implementation. Despite these barriers, AI shows great promise in enhancing pricing accuracy, efficiency, and adaptability to market fluctuations. This research offers a comprehensive overview of the limitations and potential of AI in price optimization, emphasizing the importance of addressing technical and organizational challenges. It contributes to a deeper understanding of how AI can transform traditional pricing strategies and encourages further empirical research to explore its real-world applications within dynamic microeconomic settings.Keywords - Artificial Intelligence, Microeconomics, Pricing Algorithms, Price Optimization.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between the use of learning technology and motivation for learning mathematics among junior high school students. The participants included 51 junior high school students from grades VII, VIII, and IX, who responded to a questionnaire as the research instrument. The utilization of learning technology was measured through classroom usage frequency, duration of use, and student engagement levels. Meanwhile, motivation for learning mathematics was assessed based on interest in mathematics, confidence in completing tasks, and the desire to acquire additional knowledge. The research findings indicate a positive correlation between the use of learning technology and motivation, as well as academic achievement in mathematics among students.Thus, it is recommended to integrate technology into teaching strategies to enhance students' learning enthusiasm. However, further research is necessary to better understand the influencing factors of this relationship. This study is expected to provide deeper insights for the development of effective teaching strategies aimed at improving the academic performance of junior high school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Challenge Based Learning (CBL) berbasis karakter dalam mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket yang diberikan kepada siswa SMA kelas XI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa respon siswa terhadap CBL berbasis karakter dalam matematika secara keseluruhan positif. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme dan motivasi belajar yang tinggi saat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model ini. Mereka juga menunjukkan peningkatan dalam hal kerjasama, komunikasi, dan karakter seperti tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan pantang menyerah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa CBL berbasis karakter merupakan model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan respon dan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Model ini dapat membantu siswa untuk mengembangkan karakter dan keterampilan abad ke-21 yang mereka perlukan untuk menjadi pembelajar yang mandiri dan sukses.Kata kunci: Challenge Based Learning, karakter, respon siswa, matematika

Abstract

Research on leadership strategies in curriculum management in modern pesantren is important considering the challenges of Islamic education in the digital era which demands adaptive and innovative governance. This study aims to identify and analyze the most effective leadership strategies in curriculum management in modern pesantren using the Systematic Literature Review approach. This study is a qualitative research with data obtained from Dimensions and Scopus databases. The results of the analysis show that leadership transformation that is adaptive to digitalization is a key factor in improving the quality of educational governance. Effective leadership is characterized by the ability to design a strategic vision, build collaboration with various stakeholders, and encourage the integration of technology in the curriculum management process. This finding confirms that strengthening the capacity of transformative leadership needs to be a priority in the development of modern pesantren in order to be able to respond to the dynamics of educational change in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This research examines the role of the Kuntau Sinar Pahlawan Community in preserving the traditional martial art of Kuntau as part of the cultural heritage of Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan. Kuntau not only represents physical skills but also contains philosophical, spiritual, and social values that form the cultural identity of the Banjar people. The method used was descriptive qualitative through observation, interviews, and literature study. The results showed that this community actively preserves Kuntau through regular training, cultural performances, and adaptation to technological developments through digital media. In addition, the preservation strategies implemented include documentation of the movement, development of an internal curriculum, and integration of local values in every learning process. The community has managed to maintain Kuntau's existence through adaptive strategies, despite facing challenges such as a lack of interest from the younger generation, limited resources, and a lack of support from the government and financial support. The conclusion of the research confirms that the preservation of traditional martial arts requires synergy between the community, government, and society in order to maintain cultural sustainability.
