Abstract

This research aims to reveal how the national character and pedagogic competence have oriented to 21st Century Skills for Students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. This research used to qualitative that using case study approach. This research took place at UPI Campus Purwakarta. Informants at this time are: (1) leadership; (2) lecturers; and (3) students. Data analysis techniques using interactive models Miles and Huberman, namely: data collection, data condensation, display data, and concusion: drawing / verifying. The results of this research is the process of strengthening national character and mastery of pedagogic potential for PGSD UPI Students Purwakarta Campus is in accordance with the needs of 21st century skills. The learning process includes: (1) Project Based Learning; (2) Religious Tutorials; (3) Extracurricular Field Practices; and (4) Video Projects themed Local Wisdom. Through this method, they can help them to work in the world and be able to utilize pedagogic's teachers

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of mathematical reasoning abilities for primary school students. This research aims at looking at the effect of the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) approach on the enhancement of mathematical reasoning abilities of primary school students. This research method is a quasi-experiment with pre-test and post-test control group design in Mathematics subjects with the theme of data presentation. The research sample consisted of 121 fifth grade students in two primary schools in Bekasi Regency. The test and non-test instruments were involved in this research. The results revealed that there wasthe influence between the CPA approach and students' mathematical reasoning abilities, and the achievement and enhancement of mathematical reasoning abilities of students who got learning with the CPA approach werebetter than students who got conventional learning based on all student review and a category of Prior Mathematical Ability (PMA) high, moderate and low. In conclusion, the mathematical reasoning ability of primary school students can be improved by applying the CPA approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan pemecahan masalah berbentuk soal cerita pada materi bangun ruang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini terdiri dari 6 siswa dengan kriteria 2 berkemampuan tinggi, 2 berkemampuan sedang dan 2 berkemampuan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subyek berkemampuan tinggi dalam memecahkan masalah termasuk kategori baik, subyek berkemampuan sedang dalam memecahkan masalah termasuk dalam kategori cukup, dan subyek berkemampuan rendah dalam memecahkan masalah termasuk dalam kategori kurang.

Abstract

Sebagai negara agraris, Indonesia memiliki lahan persawahan yang sangat luas. Padi yang kemudian diolah menjadi beras merupakan bahan pangan utama masyarakat Indonesia. Batang padi selama ini dibuang sebagai limbah dan tidak termanfaatkan dengan baik, padahal dengan kandungan karbon didalamnya, batang padi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan dasar reduced graphene oxide (rGO). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi suhu pemanasan terhadap nilai kapasitansi dan morfologi rGO berbahan dasar limbah batang padi. Pembuatan rGO meliputi beberapa tahap, yaitu dehidrasi, karbonasi dan kalsinasi. Tahap dehidrasi dilakukan pada suhu 110˚C selama 12 jam yang dilanjutkan dengan karbonasi pada suhu 400˚C selama 1,5 jam. Sampel karbon hasil karbonasi diuji proximate untuk menentukan kandungan fixed carbon pada sampel, dan diuji Thermal Gravimetric Analysis (TGA) untuk mengetahui posisi perubahan massa bila dikenai perubahan suhu. Dari hasil uji proximate dan TGA diketahui bahwa kandungan fixed carbon adalah 18,23% dan perubahan massa terjadi pada suhu 200˚C hingga 350˚C. Langkah selanjutnya dilakukan tahap karbonasi dengan variasi suhu, dan dilakukan uji X-ray Diffractometer (XRD) dan Voltametri siklik. Hasil karakerterisasi XRD diidentifikasi keberadaan puncak rGO dan GO. Nilai kapasitansi rGO dari batang padi cukup kecil bila dibandingkan dengan rGO komersial. As an agrarian country, Indonesia has a very large rice field. Rice which is then processed into rice is the main foodstuff of the Indonesian people. Rice stalks have been thrown away as waste and are not utilized properly, whereas with the carbon content in them, rice stems can be used as a basis for reduced graphene oxide (rGO). This study aims to analyze the effect of heating temperature variations on the capacitance and morphological values of rGO based on rice stem waste. Making RGO includes several stages, namely dehydration, carbonation and calcination. The dehydration stage is carried out at 110˚C for 12 hours followed by carbonation at 400˚C for 1.5 hours. Carbon samples from carbonation results were tested proximate to determine the fixed carbon content of the samples, and tested by Thermal Gravimetric Analysis (TGA) to determine the position of changes in mass when subjected to changes in temperature. From the proximate and TGA test results it is known that the fixed carbon content is 18.23% and mass changes occur at temperatures of 200 ° C to 350 ° C. The next step is the carbonation stage with temperature variations, and the X-ray Diffractometer (XRD) and cyclic voltammetry tests are performed. From the results of XRD characterization identified the existence of the peak rGO and GO. The capacitance value of rGO from rice stalks is quite small when compared to commercial ones.

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of blended learning models on the motivation and learning outcomes of Don Bosko High School students on ecological materials. This research is an experimental research using quasi experiment nonequivalent control group design. Population of students in grade X mipa at Don Bosko High School. The samples used were class X MIPA 2 as experimental class and X MIPA 3 as control class. Sampling using puspossive random sampling. The independent variable in this study is the model of blended learning of ecological material, the dependent variables are the motivation of learning and learning outcomes. The results showed that the percentage of students' learning motivation in the experimental class was 96% while in the control class 84.62% were in a very good and good category. Cognitive learning outcomes in the experimental class were higher than the control class with 84% of students achieving the established KKM. Improved learning outcomes in the experimental class showed moderate categories, while in the control class was in the low category. These results were reinforced by a questionnaire of student responses that gave a positive response to the blended learning model. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the blended learning model of ecological material is effective against the motivation of learning and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

A new phenomenon comes up early today that the F word or fuck has been becoming popular among children regardless of the setting. The study examines the children’s perception towards the F word in two cities in East Java: Surabaya (a metropolitan city) and Jombang (a sub-urban city). To investigates F words' usage among fifty children eight – fourteen years old in these two places, a descriptive qualitative method was employed by conducting interviews and observation. The result shows six perceptions through the F word: impolite word, an angry expression, a friendly word, a joke, and an offensive word. The way in which they acquire the F word varies, as does the purpose and the function of the F word as a wave of anger, sarcasm, conformity, solidarity, and frustration.

Abstract

Pada praktik pembelajaran di sekolah, masih banyak guru yang belum memiliki pemahaman tentang sistem penilaian yang sesuai dengan kurikulum yang berlaku saat ini. Untuk itu diperlukan instrumen penilaian yang dapat melihat respon siswa terhadap pertanyaan (soal) pada materi larutan penyangga dan hidrolisis, salah satunya dengan menerapkan instrumen penilaian berbasis taksonomi SOLO (The Structure of Observed Learning Outcome). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengkaji proses pengembangan instrumen penilaian berbasis Taksonomi SOLO pada materi larutan penyangga dan hidrolisis (2) Memperoleh inovasi bentuk instrumen penilaian berdasarkan Taksonomi SOLO pada materi larutan penyangga dan hidrolisis (3) Memperoleh instrumen penilaian berbasis Taksonomi SOLO yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan reliabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau R&D (Research and Development) yang terdiri atas beberapa langkah sebagai berikut : 1) Analisis teoritis dan praktis (2) Analisis Kebutuhan (3) Penyusunan draf produk (4) Validasi ahli atau pakar (5) Revisi draf (6) Uji coba produk (7) Pembuatan produk akhir. Hasil dari penelitian berupa instrumen penilaian berbasis taksonomi SOLO dengan kebaruan pemeringkatan pertanyaan (soal) yakni pertanyaan Unistruktural, Multistuktural, Relasional, dan Abstrak diperluas. Instrumen dinyatakan valid dan reliabel.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di SMP Mataram Semarang belum sepenuhnya menerapkan prinsip inkuiri ilmiah sehingga partisipasi aktif dari peserta didik masih kurang. Kurangnya partisipasi peserta didik menyebabkan pemahaman konsep (hasil belajar kognitif) dan keterampilan proses sains (KPS) masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep dan KPS peserta didik setelah diterapkannya strategi POE dengan metode Learning Journals.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Experiment dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design.Pengambilan sampling menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, dimana seluruh populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Kelas VII A dan VII B sebagai kelompok eksperimen, dan kelas VII C sebagai kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelompok eksperimen memiliki peningkatan pemahaman yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Hal tersebut terlihat dari hasil uji t-tes yang diperoleh yaitu thitung>ttabel, thitung sebesar 2,09 dan ttabel sebesar 1,98. KPS kelompok eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelompok kontrol. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari uji N-gain hasil tes KPS menunjukkan kelompok eksperimen rata-rata memiliki peningkatan sebesar 0,51 dengan kategori sedang. Dan hasil uji t-test skor observasi KPS dengan thitung 3,33> ttabel 1,98. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi POE dengan metode larning journals dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan KPS dari peserta didik. Science learning in SMP Mataram Semarangis not yet fully applied the principles of scientific inquiry so the student’s active participation is less. The lack of student’s participation makes the concept comprehension (cognitive learning outcomes) and science process skills (SPS) were low.This study aims to determine student’s concept comprehenssion and science process skills after the implementation of the POE strategy with Learning Journals methods. This research used Quasi Experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group design. Sample taken by saturated sampling technique, where the entire population is used as a sample. Class 7A and 7B as the experiment group, and class 7C as a control group.The results of this research showed that the experiment group had a higher the concept comprehenssion’s increased than control group. It was seen from t-test resultswhere the tcount> ttable,,tcountis 2.09 and ttable is 1.98. Science Process Skills experiment group is better than control group. It was seen from N-gain test of science process skills showed that the experimentgroup had increase average is 0.51(medium category). Based on t-test results of KPS scores observation where tcount 3.33 > 1.98 ttable. The conclusion of this results is implementation of the POE strategy with learning journals method could increase student’s concept comprehenssion and Science Process skills.

Abstract

The constitution is the basis for all the space for a country to move, whether the country is in normal or abnormal conditions. It based on the constitution as the basic norm that is the highest guideline for a country. In the case of an abnormal state, Posner explains that there is flexibility needed to deal with abnormal conditions in the constitution. Indonesia declared the country's status in a health emergency based on Presidential Decree Number 11 of 2020 on the Determination of a Corona Virus Disease Public Health Emergency and Government Regulation In Lieu Of Law Number 1 of 2020 on State Financial Policy and Financial System Stability for Handling the Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) Pandemic and/or In Facing Threats That Endanger the National Economy and/or Financial System Stability that cause the economy to decline and conflict in society. The government is faced with policy choices in dealing with this Covid. In Indonesia, the real meaning of lockdown is regional quarantine. The area quarantine itself is regulated in Law Number 6 of 2018 on Health Quarantine (Health Quarantine Law). Although Indonesia has been able to adapt to Covid-19, it is possible that in the future there will be a genetic mutation of this virus, causing an increase in the spread of Covid-19. Therefore, before there is a spike in Covid-19 in the future, it must be clear in the division of authority both in the central government and regional governments regarding the lockdown (regional quarantine).
