Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menyelidiki kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran integrated science berbasis kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan, keterampilan proses dan pemahaman konsep sains, (2) menguji keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran integrated science berbasis kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan, keterampilan proses dan pemahaman konsep sains. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) yang dikembangkan oleh Borg Gall. Subjek uji coba terbatas sebanyak 12 siswa kelas VIID. Uji coba lapangan dilaksanakan di MTsN Lasem Rembang menggunakan dua kelas yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Perangkat pembelajaran diuji secara empiris di lapangan dan berdasarkan experts judgment. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian adalah teknik observasi, angket, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah konversi skor ke nilai. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linieritas, uji korelasi Pearson dan uji Manova pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran integrated science berbasis kearifan lokal layak dalam meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan, keterampilan proses dan pemahaman konsep. Kelayakan ini juga didukung dengan hasil uji beda antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai kepedulian lingkungan, keterampilan proses dan pemahaman konsep sains yang signifikan antara dua kelas tersebut dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of Science Process Skills between a group of students who learn Science by using subject spesific pedagogy (SSP) of the elaborative lab work result - based with the ones who learn by using subject spesific pedagogy (SSP) of conventional lab work - based in the IX grade of SMPN 2 Tolitoli in academic year 2016/2017. The type of research is quasi-experimental study using non equivalent control group design. Two classes are chosen as samples by using random sampling techniques, they are class IXB as the experimental class and IXC as the control class. Each class consists of 31 Students. The data of science process skills (SPS) are obtained through observation sheets. Then the data are analyzed by descriptive analysis techniques on significance of 5%. The result shows the significance is 0,005, thus it can be concluded that the application of SSP during teaching and learning process of Science of the elaborative lab work result-based significantly effects on science process skills (SPS) of the students compared with the conventional ones. It is also reinforced by the improvement of criteria of SPS, which is 0,5 (medium category) for the experimental class and 0,1 (low category) for the control class.

Abstract

Sains hendaknya diposisikan untuk mendidik siswa agar mampu berpikir komprehensif dan holistik tentang keterkaitan antar konsep yang satu dan konsep yang lain yang berkait dengan fenomena Berbekal kemampuan berpikir yang komprehensIf dan holistik tersebut memberikan kesadaran pada siswa tentang arti pentingnya memahami berbagai alam. fenomena alam beserta keterkaitannya satu dengan yang lain, sehingga diharapkan akan mampu memecahkon permasalahan secara kontektual yang berkait dengan fenomena kebendaan maupun kejadian-kejadian di alam. Guna meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir yang komprehensif dan holistik bagi siswa tersebut, maka hendaknya dilakukan pembelajaran integrated sains dengan pengintegrasian produk dan proses sains. Setting sajian materi pembelajaran dapat diawali dengan kegiatan dan informasiyang bersifat apersepsi untuk menggugah minat dan hasrat untuk mau belajar sains, dilanjutkan kegiatan informasi inti,dan kemudian ditutup berbagai hal yang menantang siswa serta penutup berupa informasi pengembangan. Pengintegrasian dapat dilakukan dengan dua dasar, yaitu pengintegrasian berbasis obyek dan pengintegrasian berbasispersolan.Memadukan objek-objek alam untuk dipelajari, untuk diamati gejala/fenomena kebendaannya maupun kejadiannya di alam dalam salu saat bersamaan akan menyadarkan siswa bahwa tidak semua benda alam menunjukkan gejala/fenomena kebendaan dan kejadianyang sama. Pengintegrasian sains berbasis persoalan dapat dilakukan dengan mengembangkan topik atas pokok bahasan yang sifatnya tematik yang tidak mengesampingkan pesan kurikulum. Dengan kata lain melalui topik atau pokok bahasan yang tematik, dalam sekali pembelajaran guru dapat memilih beberapa kompetensi dasar atau beberapa unsur kompetensi dasar yang ada dalam kurikulum Apabila kita mampu mengembangkan pembelajaran sains terintegrasi baikintegrasi berdasar obyek telaah maupun integrasi berdasar persoalan yang dikaji dari berbagai dimensi tema/persoalan sains,maka siswa SMP mampu mempelajari sains dengan benar, maka sains harus dikenalkan secara utuh, baik menyangkut obyek, persoalan, maupun tingkat organisasi dari benda-benda yang ada di dalam jagad raya. Selain itu guru mampu melakukan pembelajaran yang benar-benar tidak membelenggu siswa dan guru sendiri dalam pembelajaran (memerdekakan guru dan siswa), pembelajaran yang mampu mewujudkan proses perolehan konsep bagi siswa dalam belajar

Abstract

This study aimed at determining the effect of the inquiry training learning model assisted by Google Classroom in improving students' creative thinking skills. This research was quasi-experimental. Total samples were 32 students of SMAN 1 Banguntapan. The instrument test was essay test to measure the creative thinking skills. The first step of study was the given the pretest, then face-to-face learning and online learning at the time agreed upon with students. The final stage was carried out posttest to see the achievement of score after treatment. The results showed that the gain scores of creative thinking skill in students are categorized into three, namely: 62% of students with low category gain scores, 31% of students with moderate category gain scores, and 7% of students with high category gain scores. The average score of gain of creative thinking ability was 0.3 which was in the medium category. Based on these results, further research is needed with an emphasis on optimizing the use of Google Classroom and confirming knowledge construction in face-to-face learning.

Abstract

Curiosity is an attitude and action that seeks to know more deeply and broadly from something learned and acts as a driving force for learning. Generic science skills are thinking skills in intellectual abilities resulting from a combination of scientific knowledge and skills based on scientific knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between curiosity and students' generic science skills in science learning. This study uses a quantitative approach to explore the correlation between the variables studied. The total sample was 64 junior high school students, who were selected by random cluster sampling. Measurement of students' curiosity was carried out using a questionnaire, while generic science skills used multiple-choice test questions. The data obtained were then analyzed using simple linear regression on SPSS to determine the correlation between the two variables. The results showed that curiosity correlated with students' generic science skills (R = .389), with the category “low positive correlation.” The effect of curiosity on generic science skills is 15.1%, while other variables influence the rest.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untukuntuk mengembangkan SSP berbasis keunggulan lokal yang layak dipergunakan dalam meningkatkan literasi sains dan kepedulian lingkungan siswa MTs. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode Borg Gall. Subjek uji coba lapangan terdiri dari 50 orang siswa kelas VII MTs Manbaul Ulum. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa SSP yang telah dikembangkan layak dipergunakan, berdasarkan hasil penilaian validator “sangat baik” dan berdasarkan hasil uji beda antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai literasi sains antara dua kelas tersebut yaitu terdapat peningkatan literasi sains siswa menggunakan SSP berbasis kearifan lokal yang dikembangkan.Kata kunci: SSP, keunggulan lokal, literasi sains, dan kepedulian lingkungan Developing of Essence and Energy SSP Based on Local Wisdom to Improve Literacy Science and Environmental Care Of Students of MTs  AbstractThis research aims todevelop appropriate subject specific pedagogy based on local wisdom to improveliteracy science and environmental care of students of madrasah Tsanawiyah. This research is used the research and development (RD) of Borg Gall model.The research subjects in the main field testing were 50 students of class VII MTs Manbaul ‘Ulum. The result of this research shows that the sets of integrated science learning equipment based on local wisdom is feasible to increase the student`s  literacy of science. It can be seen from the validator assessment, i.e. grade A or very good. This feasibiliy is also supported by Manova test on the difference of grades study results, literacy science mean score between the experimental class and control class, there is an increase of literacy science using SSP based on local wisdom that was developed.Keywords: SSP,local wisdom, literacy science, and environmental care

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran IPA berbasis discovery learning terintegrasi jajanan lokal daerah terhadap keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP N1 Cangkringan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 32 peserta didik yang berasal dari satu kelas, yakni kelas VIII A. Perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Silabus, (2) Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), dan (3) Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi keterampilan proses. Aspek yang dianalisis meliputi aspek keterampilan proses sains dasar dan terintergrasi. Setelah diperoleh rata – rata skor pada tiap aspek, rata – rata skor yang diperoleh kemudian diklasifikasikan menurut kategori sangat baik, baik, kurang, dan sangat kurang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model pembelajaran IPA berbasis discovery learning terintegrasi jajanan lokal daerah efektif meningkatkan lima aspek keterampilan proses sains dasar, yaitu keterampilan mengobservasi, mengklasifikasi, memprediksi, menarik kesimpulan, dan mengkomunikasikan, serta lima aspek keterampilan proses sains terintegrasi, yaitu menginterpretasi data, mengontrol variabel, membuat hipotesis, mendefinisikan secara operasional, serta melakukan eksperimen. Science learning based on discovery integrated regional local snacks on student science process skills AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effect of science learning based on discovery learning that was integrated with regional local snacks on student science process skills. This research was a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The population in this research were students of class VIII SMP N1 Cangkringan. The sample in this research was 32 students from one class, namely class VIII A. The learning tools used in this study were: (1) Syllabus, (2) Lesson Plan, and (3) Student Worksheet. The research instrument used in this research was the student science process skills observation sheet. The aspects analyzed include aspects of basic and integrated science process skills. After obtaining an average score in each aspect, the average score obtained is then classified according to the category of very good, good, low, and very low. The result shows that discovery learning integrated with regional local snacks is effective in improving five aspects of basic science process skills, namely observing, classifying, predicting, drawing conclusions, and communicating, as well as five aspects of integrated science process skills, namely interpreting data, controlling variables, make hypotheses, define operationally, and conduct experiments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) mengembangkan model perkuliahan IPA terintegrasi menggunakan pendekatan inquiry yang membekali kemampuan pedagogy-content-knowledge integrated science, 2) memberi contoh pembelajaran IPA terintegrasi dengan pendekatan inquiry bagi calon guru IPA SMP. Metode penelitian adalah RD dengan model 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Dessiminate). Hasil penelitian berupa model perkuliahan IPA terintegrasi dan pembelajarannya dengan pendekatan inquiry berupa: 1) standar-standar core dan pedagogy materi sains SMP/MTs; 2) silabus subprogram; dan 3) contoh pembelajaran IPA terintegrasi dengan pendekatan inquiry meliputi: pemetaan kompetensi IPA terintegrasi, silabus, RPP, LKS; panduan penyusunan RPP, panduan peer teaching; tes IPA Terintegrasi I dan tes IPA Terintegrasi II; lembar-lembar penilaian; serta materi pengayaan. Hasil implementasi perangkat pembelajaran dalam perkuliahan menunjukkan, bahwa terdapat peningkatan kompetensi integrasi IPA; pemahaman IPA; dan pemahaman interdisipliner bidang IPA. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam merencanakan pembelajaran IPA terintegrasi dan melaksanakan serta mengelola pembelajaran berkategori baik.Kata kunci: IPA terintegrasi, pendekatan inquiry, pengembangan

Abstract

Abstract The aims of this study are to identify (1) the implementation of primary school DRR education in Indonesia, (2) strategies that can be implemented in integrating primary school DRR, and (3) the proposed framework for primary school resilience in disaster management.  The method used in this research was Systematic Literature Review (SLR).  The results showed that the implementation of DRR education in Elementary Schools in Indonesia was carried out through the integration of DRR materials into the curriculum, the integration of DRR materials into local content, and the integration of DRR materials into self-development.  Strategies that can be implemented in integrating primary school DRR education include integration through an online platform created by the Ministry of Education and Culture, involving multi-stakeholders in disaster management in schools, implementing schools independently, integration through scout extracurriculars, through the civil servant pre-service system, and  through local regulatory policies. The proposed framework for primary school resilience in disaster management include: (1) School disaster risk assessment and planning for the integration of DRR Education, (2) Teacher and staff training related to the integration of DRR Education, (3) Implementation of DRR Integration in accordance with school characteristics and taking into account the sustainability of integration, (4) Evaluation of the implementation of DRR Education Integration, and (5) DRR Integration Innovation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar dan instrumen penilaian IPA tema “Indahnya Negeriku” buku guru dan buku siswa kelas 4 Kurikulum 2013 yang layak dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. terdiri atas sembilan tahap, yaitu: (1) studi pendahuluan ,(2) perencanaan,(3) pengembangan produk awal, (4) uji coba awal, (5) revisi untuk menyusun produk utama, (6) uji coba lapangan,(7) revisi untuk menyempurnakan produk hasil uji coba lapangan,(8) uji pelaksanaan lapangan, dan (9) revisi produk final. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. (1) Kelayakan penilaian ahli materi belajar IPA dengan kriteria Sangat Baik, uji coba terbatas dengan kriteria Sangat Baik dan uji coba pelaksanaan lapangan dengan kriteria Sangat Baik, hasil penilaian ahli Instrumen Penilaian IPA dengan kriteria Baik, uji coba terbatas dengan kriteria Sangat Baik dan uji coba pelaksanaan lapangan dengan kriteria Sangat Baik. This was a research and development (R D) study consisting of nine stages, namely: (1) preliminary studies, (2) planning, (3) early product develop-ment, (4) early trials, (5) revision to draft the main product, (6) field tryout (7) revisions to enhance the results of field trials of products, (8) field impelementation testing and (9) revision of the final product.The results show (1) It is shown on the assessment of the feasibility study materials science experts which obtained an average value of 4.44 with the criteria Very Good, limited trial gained an average value of 4.53 with the criteria Very Good and piloted the field obtained average values 4.80 with criteria Very Good, whereas the results of expert assessment of Science assessment of instruments obtained an average value of 3.92 with the criteria Good, limited trial gained an average value of 4.33 with the criteria Very Good and piloted the field with an average value 5 with the criteria Very Good. (2) The effectiveness of the product development is shown in the calculation of the gain score to know the aspects of knowledge that obtained an index gain of 0.80 with High category, while aspects of attitude and skills with observation show positive results.Keywords: development, learning material, science assessment of instruments, Curriculum 2013
