Abstract

This study examines the management of financing for the development of infrastructure and infrastructure education in Madrasah Aliyah in City Sibolga through approach phenomenology. Studies This explore four stage mains in management financing, namely planning, implementation, budget absorption, and monitoring evaluation. Qualitative research methods are used through in-depth interviews and observation direct for understand perception, experience, and pattern think for stakeholder’s interest related management financing in madrasahs This research involved MAN Sibolga, MAS Daruhrahmad Sibolga, and MAS Islamic Sibolga as example case. Through analysis phenomenological, the findings highlight several key aspects that underlie the success of the institution, including unique variations of approaches in each madrasah, active involvement of all party in management, process evaluation monthly, meeting internal before maintenance facility, and focus on repair facility. Results study This give understanding Which deep about How management financing development of educational facilities and infrastructure was carried out at Madrasah Aliyah in Sibolga City, and demonstrates a strong commitment to creating a green environment Study optimal for students.

Abstract

This research examines the role of boarding school leaders in character development at the Tahfiz Quran Azhar Center Islamic Boarding School in Labuhanbatu Utara. Using a qualitative approach, the study highlights how leadership plays a critical role in shaping students' character within a comprehensive educational environment. The leaders go beyond delivering formal Islamic teachings, emphasizing values such as tolerance, cooperation, and responsibility. These values are nurtured through various methods, including lectures, role modeling, habituation, counseling, and discipline. Key internal factors, such as student motivation, and external factors, like caregiver support and quality facilities, further enhance the character-building process. Despite challenges, including student boredom and distance learning difficulties, the boarding school’s holistic approach has succeeded in fostering intellectually capable individuals who embody Islamic moral values.

Abstract

This study addresses the suboptimal performance of teachers, which is influenced by the leadership style of school principals and the organizational culture within educational institutions. Effective leadership is essential, as principals should act as facilitators, motivators, and role models for their subordinates, fostering a positive work environment. This research aims to examine (1) the impact of leadership style on teacher performance, (2) the effect of organizational culture on teacher performance, and (3) the combined influence of leadership style and organizational culture on teacher performance in Islamic Boarding Schools in Southeast Aceh Regency. Using an ex-post facto research design, the study involved a population of 110 teachers from three Islamic Boarding Schools: Darul Azhar, Darul Iman, and Darul Amin. Saturated sampling was applied, including all members of the population. The findings show that (1) leadership style significantly and positively affects teacher performance, with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, (2) organizational culture also positively and significantly influences teacher performance, with a p-value of 0.00 < 0.05, and (3) both leadership style and organizational culture together contribute significantly to teacher performance, accounting for 98.8% of the variance.

Abstract

Acid mine drainage (AMD) is a highly dangerous form of water pollution results from coal mining activities. AMD is characterized by its high concentration of heavy metals and low pH levels, which have been linked to various health problems, including skin disease, cancer, and poisoning. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the available information on the AMD and its alternative low-cost treatment methods. One such method is adsorption, an eco-friendly and cost-effective approach to treating the AMD. This review draws on 99 published papers as the sources that provide a comprehensive overview of the AMD sources and problems worldwide. This study explores the potential of conventional materials, such as activated carbon, biochar, and other materials for treating the AMD. A special section on conventional materials is well-detailed and provides valuable insights into their effectiveness. It is essential to explore the alternative treatment methods that are both environmentally friendly and cost-effective. This review provides valuable insights in this regard. By using the low-cost and sustainable methods, we can effectively treat AMD and reduce its impact on the environment and human health.

Abstract

The issue of work commitment is the basis of this study, examined through the lens of emotional stability, intrinsic motivation, and self-competence. The main purpose of this study is to explain the interaction between a person's emotional stability and their intrinsic motivation, as well as the teacher's competence towards the teacher's work commitment. This study uses a quantitative approach using ex post facto methodology. The research population was one hundred and ninety-one teachers from three different Madrasah Aliyah in Medan City. A questionnaire with a Likert scale was used to collect data. Using route analysis tools, research hypotheses are evaluated. The research results show: "(1) personal competence has a direct effect on intrinsic motivation by 36.20%, (2) emotional stability has a direct effect on intrinsic motivation by 34.70%, (3) personal competence has a direct effect on work commitment by 33, 90%, (4) emotional stability has a direct effect on work commitment of 37.20%, (5) intrinsic motivation has a direct effect on work commitment of 53.00%, (6) personal competence has an indirect effect on work commitment through intrinsic motivation of "81.40%, (7) emotional stability has an indirect effect on work commitment through intrinsic motivation of 79.70%, and (8) personal competence, emotional stability and intrinsic motivation simultaneously have an effect on work commitment of 78.00%."

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki target capaian gunanya untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode pembelajaran terhadap pembentukan lingkungan sekolah yang ramah anak.Sekolah Ramah Anak (SRA) adalah satuan pendidikan yang aman,bersih,dan inklusif serta peduli terhadap lingkungan hidup. Penelitian ini menggali perihal penerapan lingkungan Sekolah Ramah Anak yang memiliki tujuan untuk menjamin hak-hak anak,serta melindungi mereka dari kekerasan, diskriminasi dan perilaku salah. Dengan mendekatkan penggabungan antara kuantitas dan kualitas antara sekolah yang sudah menerapkan ramah anak dan sekolah yang belum menerapkan ramah anak berdasarkan penelitian di Kota Serang. Dalam aspek kuantitas,sebanyak 250 siswa dan 45 guru mereka memberikan aspirasi terhadap survey penelitian yang mendukung terhadap berbagai metode pembelajaran. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran kolaborasi dan partisipasi secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas sekolah ramah anak. Siswa dan guru merasa dihargai,saling merasa dihargai dan termotivasi karena adanya dukungan dan peran dari pemerintah terhadap pemenuhan hak-hak anak,dan aktif berpartisipasi karna sekolah menjadi wadah siswa untuk mendengarkan aspirasi siswa dan siswi disekolah. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil yang menegaskan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif adalah kunci terhadap dunia pendidikan yang menciptakan lingkungan sekolah ramah anak. Diharapkan kepada pemerintah untuk memfasilitasi guru dan sekolah sehingga bersama-sama dapat mendorong peran partisipasi aktif siswa serta meningkatkan fasilitas belajar akademik dan non akademik,tetapi menjadi rumah kedua yang nyaman yang mana di dalamnya penuh dukungan dan memberikan memberikan dan inspirasi bagi setiap anak sekolah.

Abstract

This study examines the marketing strategies implemented by the Institute Sheikh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai to improve power competition in the high education sector. This research aims at the application of mixed 4P marketing. Specifically, this study describes 1) the products produced by the Institute Sheikh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai in improving power competitiveness of higher education, 2) prices offered by the Institute Sheikh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai in improving power competitiveness of higher education, 3) places provided by the Institute Sheikh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai in improving power higher education competitiveness, and 4) promotion strategies developed by the Institute Sheikh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai in improving power higher education competitiveness. With an analysis of how universities develop their academic programs, establish tuition fees, optimize location strategically, and use promotional strategies, this study attempts to uncover the effectiveness of strategy in attracting candidate students and improving power competition. This study uses a qualitative approach, with data collected through structured interviews, observation, and analysis. Documents. Respondents covering stakeholders’ interests include the chairman of the foundation, leadership college high, lecturers, staff education, and students. Data collection and sampling methods snowball used to obtain comprehensive data. Data analysis was carried out using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, namely data condensation, data presentation, and retrieval conclusion. Triangulation technique applied to validate data and ensure reliability. Findings from the study show that aligning academic programs with market demand, maintaining competitive and affordable tuition fees, choosing strategic campus locations, and integrating traditional and digital promotional strategies significantly contribute to improving the power competitiveness/superiority of the competitive Institute Sheikh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai. Next, in the adaptation curriculum, collaboration and improvement facilities are very important in maintaining relevance and pulling candidate students. Based on the findings, the Institute Sheikh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai recommended continuing to increase the curriculum and align it with market and industrial world needs that continue to grow and develop. In addition, it is necessary to further integrate digital marketing strategies to expand reach and maintain power in the increasingly competitive education sector.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the professional competence of teachers, forms of teacher coaching, the implementation of continuous professional development for teachers, and the influence of continuous professional development in the form of self-development, scientific publications, and innovative work which have a positive effect on increasing the professional competence of MAN and MAS teachers in Sibolga and Regency. Central Tapanuli. The method used in this research is qualitative using a PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach and quantitative using path analysis. The research sample amounted to 217 people. The research results in this dissertation show that teacher professionalism in MAN and MAS Sibolga City and Central Tapanuli Regency still faces various challenges that affect the quality of education, such as lack of learning planning, use of innovative media, as well as weaknesses in material mastery and evaluation. Factors such as low discipline and lack of continuous training are significant obstacles, which can be overcome through supervision of madrasa heads and improving infrastructure. The Continuous Professional Development Program (PKB) plays an important role in increasing teacher competency, even though it faces challenges of limited resources and infrastructure support. The implementation of FGDs on professionalism and CPD showed an increase in teacher participation and teaching quality, in line with professional development theory. Various indicators, such as the ability to plan learning, use of technology, creativity, and involvement in collective activities and scientific publications, interact with each other to form better teacher professionalism. The synergy between individual competency development and effective educational management is very important in improving the quality of education and student learning outcomes in the region.

Abstract

The Funeral Care Training in Ciampea Village aims to enhance the community's skills in handling the deceased in accordance with Islamic law and health protocols. This program focuses on improving the understanding and practical skills related to the proper procedures of funeral care, including washing the body, using the shroud, performing the funeral prayer, and proper burial. Additionally, this training seeks to strengthen the community's adherence to religious teachings and raise awareness about the importance of maintaining public health during the funeral process. The training results show a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills, reflected in more accurate funeral care practices that align with Islamic law. Participants also actively disseminate the knowledge they gained to the community through lectures, teaching at religious schools, and social media. This program not only improves the quality of funeral care but also strengthens mutual respect and enhances health awareness within the community. Thus, this training contributes to creating a more respectful, healthy, and Islamically compliant funeral process

Abstract

Education is very important in improving the quality of human resources (HR), quality education is a hope for the whole community. The formulation of the problem that the author does is how to implement quality management and implement quality management standards at MTs Nurus Salam schools. The methodology in this study uses a qualitative descriptive research type, this study uses interview, observation, and documentation data collection techniques. Based on the results of the research, the implementation of quality management in MTs Nurus Salam schools, the principal has done something positive, such as: seeking the effectiveness of the learning process by motivating teachers and teachers also increasing their competence. The conclusion from the research is that education quality management is carried out by MTs Nurus Salam with the quality of implementation in accordance with national standards. The role of madrasas in balancing the process and results of education. In the end, students will grow into quality Muslim individuals.
