Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat bagaimana pendidikan multikultural diterapkan untuk membangun toleransi di antara organisasi Islam di sekolah dasar Islam Karangjati. Pendekatan penelitian yang dipakai adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan lewat observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dari kepala sekolah, guru PAI, dan siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini berfokus pada cara mengajarkan nilai toleransi terkait perbedaan organisasi Islam seperti NU, Muhammadiyah, dan lainnya melalui pembelajaran, budaya sekolah, dan kegiatan keagamaan bersama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan multikultural dilakukan dengan memasukkan nilai toleransi dalam pembelajaran, membiasakan sikap saling menghargai, serta mencontohkan sikap guru dalam perbedaan praktik ibadah. Selain itu, sekolah juga menyelenggarakan kegiatan keagamaan yang menekankan ukhuwah Islamiyah dan persatuan tanpa membedakan organisasi siswa. Guru berperan sebagai agen sosialisasi utama yang sangat memengaruhi pembentukan sikap terbuka, menghargai perbedaan, dan mengurangi potensi konflik antar siswa. Dengan demikian, pendidikan multikultural di SD Islam berperan penting dalam membangun toleransi antarorganisasi Islam sejak dini secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This article is designed to examine the Collaboration of Teachers, Parents, and the Local Community in Supporting the Education of Children with Special Needs at SD Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah 01 Purwokerto through the perspective of a sociological educational institution. The article’s main focus is directed at the claim that the success of the education of children with special needs in Islamic Elementary Schools is highly dependent on the collaboration of teachers, parents, and the local community as a social support network. The research needs to be located in schools or madrasas that empirically demonstrate social practices related to this issue. Primary data can be obtained through observations of teachers and interviews with involved educational actors, as well as documentation of institutional policies, programs, and practices. By using a qualitative approach, this article is expected to be able to show how social relations, institutional norms, educational authorities, and the experiences of students/teachers/parents shape daily educational practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan menjelaskan bentuk solidaritas dan kontribusi alumni terhadap lembaga pondok pesantren. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan perspektif studi jaringan sosial dan mobilisasi sumber daya. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara mendalam kepada pengasuh pondok pesantren dan alumni, kemudian dilengkapi dengan dokumentasi kegiatan dan arsip pendukung lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alumni membentuk berbagai jaringan sosial sebagai bentuk solidaritas dan kontribusi terhadap pondok pesantren. Kontribusi tersebut tidak hanya bersifat materi melainkan juga inmateri. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan dibentuknya kajian alumni, grup digital, dan program silaturahmi sebagai media komunikasi, koordinasi, dan penguatan solidaritas. Kemudian menyelenggarakan rekruitmen santri, dan melaksanakan kegiatan sosial. Alumni memiliki ikatan yang kuat dengan kyai, lingkungan pesantren, dan memori kebersamaan selama di pesantren sehingga merasa memiliki rasa tanggungjawab untuk berkonrtibusi dalam meningkatkan mutu lembaga. Penelitian ini berkontribusi secara teoretis dalam penguatan kajian solidaritas alumni berbasis modal sosial dan jaringan sosial, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam dan peningkatan mutu kelembagaan pesantren secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This article examines the construction of social resilience among students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Negeri 1 Banyumas in facing academic pressure and digital culture through the lens of the sociology of educational institutions. Initial classroom observations in the accelerated program indicate that academic pressure is heightened due to additional instructional hours, while digital culture emerges as a source of distraction that reduces concentration and affects students’ emotional well-being. Survey data reveal that rules on gadget use, peer support, and religious values play a crucial role in shaping students’ social resilience. Previous studies tend to be normative and administrative, emphasizing school discipline or gadget regulations without unpacking the social mechanisms within the madrasah. This article addresses that gap with three focal points: (1) analyzing gadget-use rules as a strategy to limit the negative impact of digital culture, (2) explaining the role of peer groups as spaces for sharing academic pressure and social concerns, and (3) assessing religious values as a moral framework for students in engaging with digital content. Using a qualitative approach, this study aims to demonstrate how social relations, institutional norms, educational authority, and the experiences of students, teachers, and parents shape everyday educational practices. The contribution of this article goes beyond case description, seeking to build theoretical arguments about how educational institutions function as social arenas that produce trust, identity, discipline, solidarity, and social change. The findings are expected to enrich discussions on the sociology of Islamic education in Indonesia and offer recommendations for strengthening institutional governance based on field data.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze academic tirakat practices as a manifestation of lived religion among santri in modern pesantren. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research was conducted at Pesantren Modern Darul Qur'an Al Karim. Data were collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews with santri, pesantren caregivers, teachers, and parents. The findings reveal that academic tirakat is practiced through voluntary fasting, night prayers, wirid recitation, sleep reduction, and limitation of gadget use. These practices are understood by santri as spiritual efforts supporting academic achievement and Qur’anic memorization. The pesantren leadership also interprets educational success as a combination of intellectual effort and spiritual endeavor. Furthermore, academic tirakat contributes to psychological well-being, learning motivation, and resilience in facing academic pressure. This study concludes that academic tirakat represents a living manifestation of religion within pesantren educational culture and demonstrates the integration of spirituality and intellectual development in modern Islamic education.

Abstract

This article examines elite classes as arenas for the construction and reproduction of social differentiation among students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Banyumas through the perspective of the sociology of educational institutions. The main claim is that elite classes potentially create social differentiation by forming academic hierarchies, symbols of prestige, and social distance within the madrasah environment. Using a qualitative field research design with a case study approach, primary data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers, elite class students, non-elite students, and the school principal, as well as documentation of institutional policies. The findings confirm three dimensions of evidence: elite classes receive greater access to facilities and academic attention; the elite label constructs perceptions of superiority among students; and non-elite students experience feelings of inferiority and diminished academic self-confidence. The article argues that elite class systems function not merely as administrative tools for academic grouping, but as social mechanisms that reproduce stratification and inequality within Islamic educational institutions. Findings enrich discussions in the sociology of Islamic education in Indonesia and offer recommendations for more equitable institutional governance.

Abstract

The transformation of vocational high school education in the digital era has become a strategic demand to meet the needs of Industry 4.0. This research aims to analyse the forms of adaptation and resistance to technology-based learning innovations through field qualitative methods using observation techniques, document analysis, and literature review. Findings at SMK Negeri 1 Kemangkon show that the school community is adapting through the integration of project-based learning and artificial intelligence tools, supported by adequate laboratory infrastructure. The main inhibiting factors include the low digital literacy of students, while resistance appears in the form of decreased focus and complaints about device restrictions. The conclusion of the research emphasises that the transformation of vocational high schools is a sociological dynamic that demands a balance between technological modernisation and the preservation of vocational character values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena kelelahan religius (religious fatigue) pada siswa Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Ar-Ridlo Pekuncen, sebuah institusi pendidikan Islam terpadu yang menggabungkan kurikulum nasional dengan intensitas kegiatan keagamaan berbasis pesantren. Beban ganda antara tuntutan akademik formal dan rutinitas spiritual yang padat meliputi hafalan Al-Qur'an, kajian kitab, shalat berjamaah, dan pembinaan karakter dapat memunculkan kondisi kelelahan emosional, fisik, dan spiritual pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan praktik empiris kelelahan religius, menjelaskan relasi sosial yang bekerja di balik tuntutan tersebut, serta menilai implikasi sosiologisnya bagi pendidikan keagamaan di Indonesia. Pengamatan partisipan pasif, wawancara mendalam dengan siswa dan konselor bimbingan, serta pencatatan jadwal kegiatan, catatan kehadiran, dan catatan konseling semuanya digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data menggunakan teknik kualitatif deskriptif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kelelahan religius merupakan hasil dari konflik struktural antara tuntutan akademis dan agama serta kurangnya mekanisme pemulihan psikologis, bukan hanya fenomena teologis. Untuk mengatasi kendala institusional tanpa mengorbankan validitas sosialnya, siswa menggunakan berbagai metode penanggulangan (coping strategies) adaptif dan performatif. Menurut temuan penelitian, keseimbangan ekosistem sosial-emosional anak sama pentingnya dengan ketaatan ritual terhadap efektivitas pendidikan agama.
