Abstract

This research analyzes the Smart City Concept with the Use of the Internet of Things (IoT) in the City of Palembang by considering internal factors, which shows a total score of 28 for strengths and 27 for weaknesses. On the other hand, external factors show a value of 34 for opportunities and 26 for threats. The SWOT analysis method (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) is used to evaluate strategic positions in facing challenges and exploiting opportunities in implementing the Smart City concept. Next, a TOWS (Threat, Opportunity, Weakness and Strength) analysis was carried out which resulted in an in Palembang City is SO (Strengths – Opportunities), namely utilizing internal advantages to optimize existing opportunities. In conclusion, the most appropriate strategy is to utilize internal strengths to maximize existing opportunities, while reducing the impact of internal weaknesses on external threats. A strong partnership is needed between the government, the private sector and active community participation to realize the vision of an IoT-based Smart City in the City of Palembang.

Abstract

Education Unit Examination is a test or evaluation conducted within an education unit, such as a school or other educational institution. The information technology service used by SMK Negeri 8 for the education unit exam is the CBT BeeSmart application. However, the CBT BeeSmart application at SMK Negeri 8 Palembang is not optimally used. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze information technology-based CBT BeeSmart service management to determine the performance or quality of CBT BeeSmart information technology services. This research uses the ITIL V3 framework in the application of the education unit exam at SMK Negeri 8 Palembang.  The domain in the ITIL V3 framework used in this research is the service operation domain. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques, through interviews and observations. Based on the results of 3 research processes, namely Event Management, Request Fulfilment and Problem Management, it is necessary to increase the need for hardware, software, infrastructure and increase the competence of Human Resources.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of student guidance and counseling services using the COBIT 5 framework at SMK Negeri 8 Palembang. The results of the application of COBIT 5 in this research include several things, Evaluation of Service Effectiveness, this evaluation identifies the extent to which the service has run in accordance with the standards or criteria set by COBIT 5. Identification of Improvement Areas, identifies certain areas in guidance and counseling services that are needs repair. This can include aspects of information availability, key processes, or even performance criteria that have not been met according to established standards. Determination of Service Quality, the quality of services provided by SMK Negeri 8 Palembang in the context of guidance and counseling. Identification of areas that need improvement or improvement provides a better understanding of how services can be improved to provide a more positive impact on students. The results of data collection and analysis in this research highlight, the Positive Contribution of Services. Evaluations involving surveys with students, interviews with counselors, and analysis of guidance and counseling program documents confirm that these services have a positive impact on student development at SMK Negeri 8 Palembang.

Abstract

A planned web-based information system for KH. Mas Mansur at Muhammadiyah University aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of managing Islamic boarding schools' data and information. This system is designed to be accessed by users via the internet, both via desktop computers and mobile devices. The features that this information system will have include registration of new students, management of student and staff data, class schedules, announcements, activity schedules, and also a financial management system. In addition, this system is also equipped with a monitoring feature for the presence of students, as well as a health monitoring system for students. This information system was built using the latest technology with the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The system interface is designed with a user-friendly appearance and is easy for users to use. This system is also equipped with strong data security features, so that Islamic boarding school data and information are kept confidential. With this web-based information system, pesantren management can become more integrated and structured, so that pesantren can be more efficient and effective in managing pesantren data and information

Abstract

Toko Fun's Bouqet Balloon is a store that sells various flower-shaped balloon bouquets. The sales system utilized by Toko Fun's Bouqet Balloon only employs social media platforms such as Instagram for its online sales. However, this method is still deemed suboptimal due to the low sales and inadequate organization of sales data. Therefore, based on the problems encountered by Toko Fun's Bouqet Balloon, the author designed an online sales information system using a website with internet access that will display information about the products for sale. This research uses the waterfall methodology, which simplifies the process of designing and creating a sales website. The resulting website was designed with a simple layout for easy accessibility. However, the speed of loading web pages and the addition of features still need improvement to attract potential buyers or customers

Abstract

This study demonstrates the importance of a high-quality website in e-commerce, as consumers interact with companies through the website. Bukalapak.com is an example of an online buying and selling service provider that has successfully achieved customer satisfaction based on the Webqual 4.0 method, which consists of usability, quality of information, and quality of interaction variables. This research also provides insights into the factors that contribute to customer satisfaction in e-commerce, thereby helping companies that provide online buying and selling services to improve their website quality and enhance customer satisfaction

Abstract

This research was conducted to understand the use of Web3 in non-cash payments on an online store through a case study method. Data was collected through observation and analysis of blockchain transactions. The analysis results showed that the use of Web3 in non-cash payments on online stores has advantages and disadvantages. The implications of these findings indicate that the use of Web3 can accelerate the payment process and improve transaction security. However, there are also several challenges that need to be overcome, such as technology complexity and lack of user awareness. Therefore, this research recommends continuing to develop Web3 technology and increasing user literacy about the use of Web3 in non-cash payments on online stores

Abstract

Currently information technology is experiencing very rapid development, along with human needs which also continue to grow. Technology plays a very important role in human life. At present, those who are not accustomed to keeping up with technological developments, it is certain that they will become backward people. The sales system used at Toko Ampek Pangeran Palembang currently still uses social media and telephone facilities because it does not yet have E-Commerce. In recording sales transaction data, Toko Ampek Pangeran Palembang still uses a manual system, namely recording using Microsoft Excel. So that errors and delays often occur in making sales reports. The solution proposed to overcome the problem of Toko Ampek Pangeran Palembang to develop its sales business is by using E-Commerce. E-Commerce is a medium of trade transactions between sellers and buyers using internet media. The advantage gained through E-Commerce is that it can improve the services of the Toko Ampek Pangeran Palembang because by using online sales, promotions regarding new products are easier to display, transactions become easier and also reduce operational costs such as paper and catalog printing.

Abstract

UI (User Interface) is the process of displaying a result in the form of a display that can be seen by the user. Meanwhile, UX (User Experience) is the process of displaying a result in the form of a display that can be seen by the user. Because both are very important, starting from UX which determines that the application can be run comfortably, and UI plays a role in deciding the appearance to make it more attractive. This article describes an application called laundrytime that can make it easier for users to pick up and order laundry through the application. By using the UCD method we can find out what users want exactly. This UCD method has four stages, namely Understand Context of Use, Specify User Requirements, Design Solutions and Evaluation Againts Requirements which get the final result, namely the prototype.
