Abstract

This research discusses consumer behavior in conducting digital payments in buying and selling transactions. Digital payment methods are a new way of making payments, especially during a pandemic like the present, which is also a result of government policies in various countries worldwide to limit outdoor activities and maintain social distance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Consumer behavior has started to shift from conventional payment methods to digital payments. Payment through digital wallets has become popular and widely accepted as an emerging payment method in both developed and developing countries. The objective of this research is to determine the behavior patterns of millennial consumers who tend to make impulsive purchases due to promotions and digital payment facilities. Therefore, the use of digital wallets in the behavior of millennial consumers during the Covid-19 pandemic becomes the research object. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive method with a literature-based approach. Research data is obtained through literature review and theoretical studies from various scientific sources. The research findings indicate that the Covid-19 pandemic has increased the usage of digital wallets due to consumers' inclination towards using electronic transactions that are more suitable and efficient during the pandemic. The digital era has rapidly evolved in a society that has adapted to become adaptive shoppers in a cashless society, developing a new culture known as electronic payment transactions through digital wallets

Abstract

This research is motivated by the level of student satisfaction of the the Faculty of Engineering, Pelita Bangsa University, Cikarang, which has not been maximized. The causal factor is thought to be the price or cost of education which is felt to be inappropriate by students and promotions that have not been implemented effectively. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of price suitability and promotion on student satisfaction through perceived value. The study was conducted on 102 samples from 1,293 students in the faculty by proportional random sampling. The main data collection usinga questionnaire. Path analysis is used to determine a fit model of suitable structural equation based on Partial Least Square using Smart PLS Version 3.3.6.Conclusions of the results: 1) Price suitability have a positive and significant effect on perceived value; 2) promotion have a positive and significant effect on perceived value; 3) Perceived value has not significant effect on student satisfaction; 4) price suitability has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction; and 5) promotion have a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and career development on organizational commitment, with job satisfaction as a mediator. The study involved a sample of 91 employees from various divisions of the company. Data analysis was conducted using Smart PLS 3 software with a quantitative research method, and data collection was carried out through Google Forms. The results indicate that organizational culture and job satisfaction significantly positively influence organizational commitment. However, career development does not show a significant impact on organizational commitment at PT. Kimberly Clark Softex Karawang. The analyzed equation model includes the outer model, inner model, and hypothesis testing. These findings provide valuable insights for the company regarding factors that can strengthen the bond between employees and the organization. The study contributes to the development of human resource management at the company by highlighting key aspects that need attention to enhance organizational commitment. Practical implications of these findings can assist PT. Kimberly Clark Softex Karawang in optimizing organizational culture and job satisfaction as strategies to enhance employee commitment. Furthermore, recommendations for further evaluation of career development programs serve as a foundation for the company to design more effective initiatives to support employees' career growth in the future. In conclusion, it can be inferred that organizational culture and job satisfaction support organizational commitment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan dan pengembangan karir terhadap produktivitas kerja yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja. Terdapat 51 responden terpilih yang merupakan semuanya adalah karyawan pada Perusahaan otomotif yang berada di kawasan MM2100 Cikarang. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, menggunakan aplikasi Smart PLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja, pelatihan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, pelatihan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja, pengembangan karir berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, pengembangan karir tidak berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja. Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of job training and career development on job satisfaction, utilizing a qualitative approach while considering the concept of self efficacy as a mediator.The aim of this journal is to investigate and analyze the impact of job training in career development on the level of employee job satisfaction at PT. Bahana Unindo Teknik, taking into account the mediating role of self-efficacy. The research method employed in this study is a survey conducted among employees in the injection manufacturing sector at PT. Bahana Unindo Teknik. Data was gathered through a questionnaire encompassing variables such as job training, career development, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction. The results of data analysis using relevant statistical approaches revealed a significant positive impact of job training and career development on job satisfaction. Additionally, self efficacy was identified as a mediator that moderates the relationship between job training, career development, and job satisfaction. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of punishment and reward on employee performance, with perceived organizational support (POS) as an intervening variable in the manufacturing company environment in the MM2100 area. The research method used was a questionnaire survey with a sample of 50 respondents as a data collection instrument. The respondents involved in this research were employees from various levels in manufacturing companies located in the MM2100 area. The results of data analysis using the regression method show that punishment has a significant negative effect on employee performance, while reward has a significant positive effect. Apart from that, work POS has also been proven to mediate the relationship between punishment, reward and employee performance. The results of these findings contribute to the understanding of the factors that influence employee performance in the manufacturing environment, especially in the context of providing punishment, rewards and perceived organizational support. This research provides practical implications for company management to optimize reward and punishment systems as a strategy to improve employee performance. In addition, this research also provides a theoretical basis for further research on the dynamics of the relationship between reward, punishment, work (POS), and employee performance in the context of the manufacturing industry

Abstract

Di Indonesia, pengangguran adalah masalah ekonomi yang harus ditangani. Pengangguran disebabkan oleh ketidaksesuaian antara jumlah tenaga kerja dan jumlah tenaga kerja. Kewirausahaan mengurangi pengangguran dan meningkatkan kesempatan kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memeriksa efikasi diri sebagai variabel mediasi lingkungan sosial terhadap pemahaman tentang e-commerce dan keinginan untuk berwirausaha. Penelitian asosiatif ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui alat survei. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 91 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman tentang e-commerce berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap efikasi diri, pemahaman tentang e-commerce berpengaruh kecil dan negatif terhadap niat berwirausaha, dan lingkungan sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efikasi diri. Efikasi diri dan kewirausahaan ditemukan memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap efikasi diri terhadap intensi kewirausahaan, sementara efikasi diri dan kewirausahaan memiliki dampak positif.

Abstract

Tujuan sebuah perusahaan tidak dapat tercapai tanpa peran serta sumber daya manusia, sehingga sumber daya manusia dapat menjadi kunci keberhasilan dan modal perusahaan untuk keunggulan kompetitif dari para pesaingnya. Pentingnya peran sumber daya manusia artinya perusahaan harus merawat dan mengelola karyawannya dengan baik, agar karyawan perusahaan yang berkemampuan tinggi tidak keluar dari perusahaan karena hendak melakukan rotasi karena kurang berminat terhadap perusahaan. Perusahaan otomotif di kawasan Ejip mengalami pergantian karyawan yang cukup signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran efikasi diri (Self-efficacy) dan beban kerja (workload) terhadap niat berpindah kerja (turnover intentions) melalui keseimbangan kehidupan kerja (work-life balance). Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah pekerja perusahaan otomotif di kawasan Ejip. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 30 karyawan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model persamaan struktural dan pengujian Sobel. Hasil penelitian memungkinkan kami menemukan bahwa Dari hasil penelitian kita dapat mengetahui bahwa self-efficacy berpengaruh terhadap work-life balance. Workload berpengaruh terhadap work-life balance. Self-efficacy tidak berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention. Workload tidak berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention. Self-efficacy dan workload berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention melalui work-life balance. Work-life balance berperan sebagai mediasi dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil temuan ini, perusahaan harus lebih aktif lagi dalam mengelola karyawan untuk menghindari fenomena karyawan yang ingin pindah kerja Kata kunci: self-efficacy; workload; work-life balance; turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Brand Image and Promotion on Customer Loyalty for Wardah beauty brand users in Indonesia. The increasingly competitive beauty industry requires companies to maintain customer loyalty through a strong brand image and effective promotional strategies. The research method used is associative quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires to 55 respondents. Data analysis techniques include validity, reliability, multiple linear regression, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination using SPSS 24. The results showed that Brand Image and Promotion had a partial and simultaneous effect on Customer Loyalty. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.539 indicates that 53.9% of the variation in customer loyalty can be explained by the two independent variables. The t test shows that Brand Image (t = 2.983; p < 0.05) and Promotion (t = 3.918; p < 0.05) have a significant effect partially, while the F test shows a significant simultaneous effect (F = 30.420; p < 0.001). These findings confirm the importance of synergy between brand image and promotion in building customer loyalty, especially in the face of increasingly dynamic cosmetic market competition.

Abstract

Research aims: This study aims to explore the relationship between self-directed learning, relevant work experience, and digital freelancers' performance in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia and Malaysia, by considering the role of intrinsic motivation as a moderating variable.Design/Methodology/Approach: The study was conducted in two countries, Indonesia and Malaysia, involving 235 freelance respondents from various digital fields. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS.Research findings: The results indicate that relevant experience is an important bridge between self-learning and work performance. Interestingly, intrinsic motivation does not act as a reinforcement of this relationship.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: The present study expands theoretical understanding of how work competencies are formed in the gig economy ecosystem, as well as how internal motivation needs to be viewed more contextually through self-determination theory (SDT) framework.Practitioners/Policy Implications: These findings reinforce the urgency of developing individual learning capacity and creating a support ecosystem, especially in a country like Indonesia that still lacks formal regulation and protection for freelancers, compared to Malaysia, which has been more progressive in recognizing and supporting the role of freelancers in the digital economy.Research Limitations/Implications: As the approach used is quantitative and cross-sectional, the data only shows conditions at a certain point in time. Future longitudinal studies are recommended to capture changes in behavior and performance in more depth over time.
