Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of electronic student worksheets based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) using the Liveworksheet platform in improving the scientific literacy skills of elementary school students. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of the study were 24 fifth-grade students of State Elementary School 10 Metro Timur. Data were collected through expert validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and scientific literacy ability tests in the form of pretests and posttests. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques, qualitative descriptive techniques, and improvement tests using N-Gain. The results showed that the developed electronic student worksheets obtained a very feasible category from the aspects of material, language, and media. Student responses to the use of electronic student worksheets were in the very good category with a percentage of 91%. The results of the effectiveness test showed an increase in scientific literacy skills with an N-Gain value of 0.72 which is included in the high category. These findings indicate that PBL-based electronic student worksheets using liveworksheet are appropriate, practical, and effective teaching materials to support the improvement of elementary school students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the influence of product quality, price, distribution and service quality on customer satisfaction at PT. XYZ which has an impact on customer loyalty. This research uses quantitative methods using SPSS. This research technique uses survey research techniques with data collection methods with questionnaires online. The sampling technique used was the Slovin Technique with 61 respondents. This research uses validity, reliability, classical assumptions, hypotheses and path tests. In the hypothesis test, the results of the path analysis test carried out show that product quality (X1), product price (X2), distribution (X3) and service quality (X4) have an effect on customer satisfaction (Z) by 81.8%. Meanwhile, other factors 18.2% were influenced by other factors outside this research. Product quality (X1), product price (X2), distribution (X3), service quality (X4) and customer satisfaction (Z) influence customer loyalty (Y) by 40.2%. Through intervening tests, customer satisfaction can become an intervening variable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi daun jati sebagai media utama dalam teknik ecoprint untuk merepresentasikan ragam hias Maluku. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif berbasis penciptaan karya seni, yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yakni, eksplorasi, perancangan, dan perwujudan. Tahap eksplorasi dilakukan melalui studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi motif yang relevan secara budaya dan visual, dan dipilihlah motif kakehan sebagai ragam hias yang mencerminkan nilai filosofis masyarakat Maluku. Pada tahap perancangan, ditentukan media kain rayon, daun jati berusia sedang, serta teknik ecoprint steaming sebagai metode utama. Sketsa awal disusun untuk mengatur komposisi dan penempatan motif pada permukaan kain dengan mempertimbangkan prinsip estetika dan desain. Tahap perwujudan dilakukan dengan menerapkan teknik steaming, sehingga menghasilkan motif kakehan yang tampak jelas di setiap sisi kain. Pigmen alami dari daun jati menghasilkan warna merah keunguan yang khas, memperkuat nilai estetika dan simbolik dari karya tekstil yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik ecoprint dengan media daun jati tidak hanya efektif dalam menghasilkan motif visual yang kuat dan mampu merepresentasikan ragam hias Maluku. Penelitian juga memberikan kontribusi dan implikasi terhadap desain tekstil berkelanjutan dan pelestarian budaya Maluku.

Abstract

Maharah al-Kalam (keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Arab) merupakan tujuan fundamental dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Namun, siswa di Jember, yang memiliki latar belakang budaya Jawa yang kuat, sering mengalami interferensi linguistik dari bahasa ibu (Bahasa Jawa). Interferensi ini menciptakan kesulitan dalam pengucapan (fonologi), struktur tata bahasa (sintaksis), dan pilihan kosakata Bahasa Arab, yang berujung pada kesalahan komunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk-bentuk dan penyebab interferensi Bahasa Jawa dalam keterampilan berbicara siswa di MAN 1 Jember, serta mengidentifikasi metode pengajaran yang efektif untuk meminimalisasi kesalahan tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif Deskriptif dengan rancangan Studi Kasus, melibatkan wawancara dengan guru Bahasa Arab, observasi kelas kalam (dialog dan presentasi), dan analisis kesalahan dari rekaman ujaran siswa kelas XI. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa bentuk interferensi yang paling dominan adalah Interferensi Fonologis (misalnya, substitusi fonem Arab /ق/ qaf dan /ع/ ain dengan bunyi serupa dalam Bahasa Jawa atau Bahasa Indonesia) dan Interferensi Sintaksis (pengurutan kalimat Bahasa Arab yang mengikuti struktur S-P-O Bahasa Jawa/Indonesia). Akar permasalahannya adalah kebiasaan kuat penggunaan Bahasa Jawa sebagai bahasa komunikasi sehari-hari, di samping kurangnya praktik intensif dalam lingkungan berbahasa Arab formal. Intervensi yang disarankan berfokus pada penggunaan Metode Drill (Latihan Berulang) dan Analisis Kontrastif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap perbedaan linguistik. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pemahaman pola spesifik interferensi Bahasa Jawa sangat penting untuk mengembangkan kurikulum Bahasa Arab yang tertarget dan efektif, khususnya dalam penguasaan keterampilan berbicara.

Abstract

Adolescents are vulnerable to mental health disorders as adolescence is a transitional period from childhood to adulthood, marked by socio-physiological growth and development. Adolescence is considered a volatile and vulnerable time because adolescents undergo significant changes during this period, both physically, psychologically, and emotionally. The objective of this study was to describe the mental health of adolescents at SMP 1 Wanasari Brebes. The research method used was descriptive analytic with data collection through the SDQ questionnaire. The study sample consisted of 82 respondents from SMP 1 Wanasari Brebes, and cluster random sampling was employed. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis with frequency percentages. The overview of adolescent mental health at SMP 1 Wanasari Brebes showed that the emotional category for most respondents was within the normal range (50%), behavior was predominantly normal (49%), hyperactivity was mostly normal (82%), peer relations were mostly borderline (38%), and prosocial behavior was predominantly normal (85%). The total difficulty score was mostly in the borderline category (46%). The mental health overview of adolescents indicates a normal scale in the emotional, behavioral, hyperactivity, and prosocial categories. The borderline scale was observed in the peer relations category and total difficulty score.

Abstract

This research examines direct instruction in developing the linguistic intelligence of Attention Deficit Disorders (ADHD) students against the experience of loneliness among students during the move to distance learning and social distancing policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study examined multiple serial mediation of students' experiences with distance learning, perceived social support, and hope. We hypothesized that students with ADHD would experience social stress in addition to struggling with distance learning. However, we hope that social support and hope can mediate their loneliness. The sample consisted of students (average age SMA 17.99, – Kindergarten 5.08), at a medium-sized State Special School in East OKU and OKI Districts. Participants were divided into two groups of typical students and ADHD students. Loneliness, negative experiences during the use of distance learning, perceptions of social support, and expectations were examined. Students with ADHD reported higher levels of loneliness and more negative experiences with distance learning than their peers, as well as students' lower language skills. Results showed that ADHD and negative experiences with distance learning predicted higher levels of loneliness, while school support and peer support alongside hopeful thinking mediated this relationship. Discussion focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of loneliness and support while emphasizing the therapeutic implications of hope. Abstract

This research aims to increase students' learning motivation in science subjects through the application of educational games with a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The method used is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of four stages. The research subjects were 28 students in class V C at SDN Bondongan. Data was collected through questionnaires and documentation in the form of learning videos and then analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The research results show an increase in students' learning motivation in five aspects of learning motivation in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, the average percentage of five aspects of student learning motivation was 64.98% in the "sufficient" category. In the cycle, the average increased to 79.84% in the “good” category. At the end of cycle II, the average percentage of five aspects of students' learning motivation increased to 87.94% in the "very good" category.

Abstract

This article discusses the taboos that exist in the lives of the community of the Jala wastu Traditional Village, Ciseureuh Village, Ketanggungan Subdistrict, Brebes Regency. This study aims to explain the various types of taboos and their function s in the lives of the locThis article discusses the taboos that exist in the lives of the community of the Jalawastu Traditional Village, Ciseureuh Village, Ketanggungan Subdistrict, Brebes Regency. This study aims to explain the various types of taboos and their functions in the lives of the local indigenous community. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method to collect data through various techniques such as interviews, observation, document collection, note-taking, recording, and listening. The findings of this study indicate that taboos in the Jalawastu Traditional Village encompass prohibitions related to infrastructure, animal husbandry, farming, playing musical instruments, dress codes, and entering areas considered sacred. Pamali are not only viewed as inherited traditions but also serve as mechanisms of social control, guidelines for behavior, and efforts to preserve culture and the environment. The community’s adherence to pamali signifies that traditional values and local wisdom are still preserved to this day amidst modern progress.
