Abstract

This study investigates the role of superior accreditation ratings as a moderating variable in improving the quality of education in study programs within the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia. The research addresses how accreditation ratings influence program performance and enhance educational quality. Using a quantitative correlational approach, data were collected through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms to 194 study programs, selected through simple random sampling. The data were analyzed using the SEM-PLS path model. The findings reveal that accreditation ratings positively affect study program performance, demonstrating a significant correlation between accreditation and program performance to enhance educational quality. Furthermore, accreditation ratings effectively moderate the relationship between quality standards and program performance, although accreditation alone did not significantly impact educational quality. These results suggest that superior accreditation ratings catalyze study programs implementing higher standards than the national minimum, leading to improved performance. This research provides important implications regarding the role of accreditation in improving the quality of education and can be a reference for policymakers and education managers.

Abstract

Teacher performance is an important element in the success of education. The higher the teacher's performance, the greater the chance of educational success that can be achieved. In this case, the role of authentic leadership is crucial. Authentic leadership is important in building a work climate that supports the spiritual values and professionalism of teachers. This study aims to analyze the impact of authentic leadership and work spirituality on teacher performance. In addition, this study explores whether work spirituality mediates the relationship between authentic leadership and teacher performance in the digital age. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires in google form which is distributed through social media platforms in the form of WhatsApp and analyzed using the SmartPLS 4 program. This research was conducted in all Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Licin District with 52 respondents from all populations. The findings show that authentic leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, both directly and through the mediation of work spirituality. The direct influence of authentic leadership on teacher performance was 0.367 (P value = 0.014 0.05), while the direct influence of work spirituality on teacher performance was 0.606 (P value = 0.000 0.05). In addition, the spirituality of work mediating the relationship between authentic leadership and teacher performance was 0.388 (P value = 0.000 0.05). These findings reinforce the theory that authentic leadership can improve teacher performance through strengthening work spirituality. This research emphasizes the importance of the values of honesty, work meaning, and integrity in the context of education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational culture on teacher performance by examining the mediating role of knowledge sharing. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data were collected from 31 teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri in Buol Regency using a structured questionnaire developed based on established theories. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4. The results showed that organizational culture has a significant direct effect on teacher performance and on knowledge sharing. However, knowledge sharing was found to have no significant direct effect on teacher performance and did not mediate the relationship between organizational culture and teacher performance. These findings suggest that while organizational culture plays a crucial role in shaping teacher performance, knowledge sharing alone is insufficient as a mediating factor. The study contributes to the literature on educational management, particularly within the context of Islamic educational institutions, and highlights the need for further exploration of other potential mediators.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the education sector demands adaptive leadership and mature technology readiness to achieve the effectiveness of digital learning. This study aims to examine the relationship between transformational leadership and the effectiveness of digital learning, with technology readiness as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was utilized through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on SmartPLS 4. The research sample involved 52 teachers from various schools that have implemented digital learning using purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used included the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ), Technology Readiness Index (TRI), and indicators of digital learning effectiveness from Anderson (2008). The analysis results show that transformational leadership does not have a direct effect on the effectiveness of digital learning (p > 0.05), but has a significant effect on technology readiness (p < 0.001). Technology readiness significantly affects the effectiveness of digital learning (p < 0.001) and has been shown to mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and the effectiveness of digital learning. These findings emphasize the importance of technology readiness as a key to success in the implementation of effective digital learning. This research provides practical implications for educational institutions in designing sustainable digital transformation strategies that focus on human resource readiness.

Abstract

Objective: This study investigates the impact of transformational leadership on teacher’s performance in integrating technology into teaching (techno-pedagogy), with motivation as a mediating role. The objective of this study is examining the direct influence of transformational leadership on teacher performance, the role of motivation as a mediator, and the relationship between teacher performance and technology integration. Method: A quantitative approach was used in this research. The population were 137 teachers from several schools in East Java, with 104 randomly selected as samples. The SmartPLS 4 program was used for analysis, which included validity and reliability testing as well as the relationship between variables. Results: The findings show that transformational leadership significantly enhances teacher motivation, which improves their performance in integrating technology. However, transformational leadership does not directly influence teacher performance. Instead, motivation serves as a full mediator, connecting leadership and teacher effectiveness. Novelty: This study emphasizes the crucial role of motivation in enhancing techno-pedagogical practices and provides insights into the necessity of transformational leadership that prioritize teacher support, motivation, and providing resources in order to improve educational outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of singing strategy and audiotory learning style on the mastery of Arabic vocabulary of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Thoriqul Huda Wagir Malang students. The background of this study is based on the importance of learning approaches that are in accordance with the characteristics of students' learning styles in an effort to improve foreign language competence early on. This study used a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression method. The sample consisted of 41 students, who were selected through purposive sampling technique. The research instruments were a closed questionnaire and an Arabic vocabulary mastery test. The results of the analysis show that simultaneously, the singing strategy and audiotory learning style have a significant effect on the mastery of Arabic vocabulary, as indicated by a significance value of 0.000 and R square of 0.600. However, partially, only the audiotory learning style has a significant effect (p = 0.000), while the singing strategy does not show a significant effect (p = 0.838). This shows that audiotory learning style is the dominant factor in supporting the mastery of Arabic vocabulary in madrasah students.Based on this finding, it is recommended that Arabic teachers integrate learning strategies that support students' audiotory learning styles, such as the use of audio media, singing, and verbal repetition.
