This study aimed to identify and analyze the characterictics of probiotic bacteria. The method used was descriptive method to perform biochemical analyze on the type of probiotic bacteria derived from banana tree. Biochemical analyazed include Gram stain, catalase, oxidation, OF paraffin, OF non paraffin, citrate, ornithin, lysine, urea, MEVP, TSIA oblique, TSIA upright, lactose and sucrose. Results of laboratory analysis showed that the bacteria isolated in blood agar have the morphological characteristic of rod-shaped (bacil), gram-positive, can produce the enzym catalase, but it can not oxidize, it can not produce the enzyme citrate, ornithine, urease, These bacteria are acidic nature, able to ferment lactose and sucrose, and capable of produced acetone from glucose fermentation.

Sorong coastal waters with diverse human activities is changes water quality. The environmental quality of coastal waters in Sorong is measurement of chemical water quality parameters. This study aims to determine the chemical water quality coastal waters in worthiness standards for fisheries activity. The measurement was November 2013 to January 2014 in located of coastal waters Sorong-West Papua. Analysis by descriptive and tabular form at each observation station Based on the measurements obtained at station. The measurements has be levels of dissolved Oxygen (02), free Carbon-dioksid, (pH), Ammonia, Nitrate, Orthophosphate, Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD5), and Dissolved Organic Matter (BOT) in coastal waters Sorong in reasonable range for fisheries and be tolerated by aquatic organisms.

The existence of the provisions of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries that the capture and / or expenditure of crabs (Scylla spp.) with the provisions of the size of the carap above 15 (fifteen) cm or weight above 200 (two hundred) grams per tail becomes a challenge in the soft carapas (soca) crab business that generally using crabs with an average weight below 150 grams. This study aims to determine the success rate of moulting and survival rate crab (Scylla serrata Forskal) with different salinity treatment using crabs weighing above 200 gr. This study used Completely Randomized Design with 5 (five) treatments and used 3 (three) replications, analysis of variance (ANOVA) at 95% confidence level was used to analyzing the data obtained. If there was a significant difference (P <0.05) then proceed with LSD test (Least Significant Differences) with 95% confidence level. The results of this research showed that the highest moulting success rate was obtained from the treatment with salinity of 10 ppt. While the highest survival rate (SR) was obtained from the treatment with salinity 30 ppt.

Woton (Sterculia sp.) plant is an endemic plant of Papua and West Papua, Indonesia that has many benefits for the community. This research aims to examine the contents of proximate, amino acid, and antibacterial activity from the leaves extract of two plants namely Sterculia shilinglawii and Sterculia tragacantha. The sample of Sterculia sp. leaves are cleaned, dried, and milled. Then, its chemical composition, amino acid, and bacterial activity are analyzed using a standard procedure. The chemical composition was analyzed using standard AOAC, amino acid was examined using LCMS and antibacterial activity was analyzed using barrier zone against the bacteria that attack the fish. The research results showed that the chemical compositions of Sterculia sp. leaves are carbohydrates, protein, water, ash and fat. The main amino acid contents of woton (Sterculia sp.) leaves are L-Arginine, L-Valine, L-Proline, L-Alanine. Bacterial Test Results showed that woton (Sterculia sp.) leaves extract has intermediate inhibition response against V. algynoliticus. It has been concluded that Sterculia sp. leaves have the potential chemical content.

This study aims to determine teacher performance, to determine the relationship between Principal Transformational Leadership and Teacher Performance, to determine the level of relationship between Principal Transformational Leadership and Teacher Performance at SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all teachers at SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh with a total of 28 teachers, while the sample used as respondents in this study were all teachers at SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh, amounting to 28 people. Data collection techniques are observation, documentation and questionnaires/questionnaires. While the Questionnaire/Questionnaire is in the form of a Likert scale. To analyze the data used product moment correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that: (1) teacher performance at SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh is very good, (2) There is a significant relationship between the principal's transformational leadership and teacher performance, this is in accordance with the results of the t test, which shows that tcount ttable (-6.467 -2.051), (3) The level of relationship between the principal's transformational leadership and teacher performance is quite strong.

Intisari— Emisi karbon terbesar berasal dari residu yang ditinggalkan dari aktivitas manusia. Pada volume besar dan tak terkendali, emisi ini menjadi penyebab utama pemanasan global. Sumbangsih emisi gas buang juga bersumber dari aktivitas sehari-hari masyarakat. Di negara Indonesia, yang termasuk dalam kategori negara berkembang, aktivitas masyarakat lebih banyak terakumulasi di tingkat desa. Desa Penambangan merupakan desa yang terletak di kabupaten Sidoarjo provinsi Jawa timur yang memiliki luas wilayah kurang lebih 150 Ha dengan jumlah penduduk 5.816 jiwa. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan kajian dengan pendekatan system dynamics bagaimana penanganan sampah di desa tersebut. Model system dynamics yang dihasilkan bisa digunakan untuk bahan pertimbangan pemerintah desa Penambangan dalam menangani sampah. Berdasarkan simulasi model, seiring berjalannya waktu, total tingkat emisi karbon dari sampah desa meningkat rata-rata 10.8% tiap bulan. Dengan melakukan penanganan sampah organing yang lebih komprehensif, emisi karbon berkurang hingga 90.4% dibandingkan kondisi awal di level model. Abstract— The largest carbon emissions come from residues of human activities. In large and uncontrolled volumes, these cause global warming. As an accumulation, The emissions also come from the daily activities of the community. In developing countries such as Indonesia, community activities are mostly accumulated at the village level. “Penambangan” is one of villages located in Sidoarjo, East Java, which has an area of approximately 150 hectares with a population of 5,816 people. In this study, a system dynamics approach was carried out on how to handle waste in the village. The resulting model can be used by local government for consideration in handling them. Based on the model simulation, the total level of carbon emissions of the community increased by an average of 10.8% per month. By carrying out more comprehensive handling of waste, carbon emissions are reduced by 90.4% compared to the initial conditions at the model level.

Pada umumnya para petani kopi di Indonesia masih memiliki kendala dalam proses penjemuran biji kopi. Dimana dalam proses penjemuran biji kopi biasanya dilakukan diluar ruangan supaya biji kopi cepat kering. Namun,pada saat kondisi tertentu proses penjemuran biji kopi menemui kendala disaat musim hujan secara tibatiba dating. Hal inilah yang sering terjadi sehingga menurunkan kualitas biji kopi dan menyebabkan kerugian bagi para petani kopi di Indonesia. Pemanasan global yang terjadi di Indonesia saat ini menyebabkan perubahan cuaca sangat sulit untuk diprediksi, sehingga sering kali terjadi perubahan cuaca secara mendadak dari panas menjadi hujan yang dapat mengganggu proses penjemuran biji kopi. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas, maka akan dibuat sebuah alat yaitu Otomatisasi Alat Penjemuran Biji Kopi Berbasis Mikrokontroler. This research aims to determine the perception of farmers on the performance of Extensionist in the agroecosystems of pasture, agriculture, plantation, and forest at Timor Island, so that it can be information for improving the performance of extension workers who have an impact on repair the welfare of farmers. This research was conducted from January to December 2018. The research location was determined purposively representing the agroecosystem of pasture, agriculture, plantation and forest. The determination of respondents are 5-10% of the number of farmers in each agroecosystem that has > 10 Bali cattle. Data collection methods are done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing method uses a Likert Scale, then analyzed decriptivelly. Indicators to measure the performance of livestock Extensionist based on Extensionist profile, materials and methods, procurement of activities, availability of teaching aids, and intensity of extension activities. The results showed that farmers' perceptions at agroecosystems of pasture, agriculture, plantation, and forest toward livestock extensionist in the category agreed that the existence of extensionist could be said well in aspects of Extensionist profile, materials and methods, and procurement of activities. This condition explains that Extensionist in carrying out his duties and functions in the field in accordance with existing standards, namely as a mediator, motivator, educator, communicator, facilitator, and assistance/visits. Nevertheless, it is very necessary to improve and repair the role of Extensionist related to competence so that it can influence farmers to be more productive in developing Bali cattle farming business them. Then Bali cattle farmers in the pasture agroecosystem with the highest value of the use of teaching aids by extensionist were 2 kinds (44,0%). Then the average farmers in agricultural agroecosystems with the highest value of the use of teaching aids by extensionist is 1 kind (40,2%). Next, the average of farmers in plantation agroecosystems with the highest value of using teaching aids by Extensionist are > 2 kinds (47,9%). While the average farmers in forest agroecosystems with the highest value of the use of teaching aids by Extensionist is 1 kind (>77,3%). While the intensity of extension activities during the past year shows that the average farmers in agroecosystems of pasture (70,7%), agriculture (59,8%), plantations (50,0%), and forests (68,2%) said more from 1 time.

The agricultural sector is one sector that is able to survive when the economic contraction in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to assess the impact of educational attainment on their decision to work in the agricultural sector during the pandemic for lost-jobs workers due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on estimates using binomial logistic regression, the results show that the lower the educational attainment of lost-jobs workers due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the higher their tendency to work in the agricultural sector. Therefore, agricultural sector is a promising sector which does not require unspecific skill for lost-job workers.

This study aims to evaluate the characteristics of accession of Bengal grass that grows in the city of Jambi. The research was conducted in two stages, namely the field observation stage to obtain qualitative data and quantitative data related to the characteristics of Bengal grass. The results of the observation phase were validated to obtain four accessions that had the same morphological characteristics. There were four accessions which were then planted in polybags in a greenhouse, namely Tlp1, Dns2, Jlt1 and Ktb2 as treatments with repeated 10 times. The design used was a completely randomized design. The parameters observed were plant height, leaf length, leaf width, internode length, number of internodes, stem circumference and leaf color. The results showed that the Jlt1 accession was an accession that had different characteristics (P <0.05) compared to other accessions.
