This study aims to describe the concept of production in Ibn Khaldūn’s thought, analyze its philosophical, normative, and historical foundations, and evaluate its relevance to the development of contemporary Islamic economics, particularly the halal industry. The study employs a qualitative-descriptive approach based on library research, using content analysis of Ibn Khaldūn’s Muqaddimah and related literature to examine the concept of production within the context of the modern economy. The findings indicate that, in Ibn Khaldūn’s perspective, production is an integral part of civilization (‘umrān) and is not merely understood as a technical process, but also as a social activity involving human labor, division of labor, social solidarity (‘asabiyyah), and institutional strengthening. His concept of production is rooted in Sharīʿah values such as justice and maṣlaḥah, and is shaped by historical and political experiences that form a comprehensive view of the relationship between state stability, productive capacity, and societal welfare. Furthermore, the study highlights that Ibn Khaldūn’s thought remains highly relevant to contemporary Islamic economics. Its principles can serve as a foundation for strengthening the halal industry through improving human capital quality, institutional governance, halal certification, access to Islamic finance, and equitable fiscal policies. Therefore, Ibn Khaldūn’s concept of production offers a rich and applicable analytical framework for sustainable Islamic economic development. The implication is that this framework can be used as a conceptual basis for formulating policies and strategies for sustainable and socially oriented halal industry development.

This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the development and research direction regarding the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Islamic education. It focuses on analyzing and mapping publication trends, researcher collaboration, institutional contributions, and dominant and underexplored topics. Using a bibliometric approach, the study draws on data from the Scopus database for the period 2015 to 2025. The findings reveal a significant increase in publication volume in recent years, with Indonesia emerging as the leading contributor, alongside institutions such as Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, International Islamic University Malaysia, and UIN Sunan Gunung Djati. Key contributors and the most influential works were identified, with Taufik M.’s article recognized as the most cited. Keyword mapping shows that research in this field centers on themes such as learning, models, approaches, and educational processes, with emerging trends including machine learning and AI-based evaluation. Several low-density topics, such as Islamic perspectives and deep understanding, indicate promising areas for future research. This study offers a valuable contribution to understanding the evolving scholarly landscape at the intersection of intelligent technology and Islamic educational values. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman komprehensif mengenai perkembangan dan arah riset terkait integrasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pendidikan Islam, melalui analisis dan pemetaan tren publikasi, kolaborasi peneliti, kontribusi institusi, serta topik-topik yang dominan dan belum banyak dieksplorasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan bibliometrik berdasarkan data dari basis data Scopus, mencakup periode tahun 2015 hingga 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam jumlah publikasi selama beberapa tahun terakhir, dengan dominasi kontribusi dari Indonesia serta institusi seperti Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, International Islamic University Malaysia, dan UIN Sunan Gunung Djati. Penulis aktif dan karya paling berpengaruh juga diidentifikasi, dengan artikel Taufik M. sebagai publikasi paling banyak dikutip. Pemetaan kata kunci mengungkap bahwa fokus penelitian meliputi aspek-aspek seperti pembelajaran, model, pendekatan, dan proses pendidikan, serta tren baru seperti machine learning dan evaluasi berbasis AI. Beberapa topik dengan kepadatan rendah, seperti perspektif Islam dan pemahaman mendalam, menunjukkan potensi pengembangan riset di masa depan. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami dinamika keilmuan di persimpangan antara teknologi cerdas dan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam.

This study examines the influence of celebrity endorsement on purchase decisions with brand awareness and brand image serving as mediating variables among Yamaha NMAX users in Yogyakarta. The research is conducted in response to intense competition within the motorcycle industry and fluctuating sales trends, highlighting the need for effective marketing strategies to influence consumer purchasing behavior. A quantitative research design was applied using a survey method, with questionnaires distributed to 200 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The findings reveal that celebrity endorsement has a positive and significant impact on brand awareness and brand image. Furthermore, brand image significantly influences purchase decisions, whereas brand awareness does not exhibit a significant effect on purchase decisions. In addition, celebrity endorsement does not directly affect purchase decisions in a significant manner. These results suggest that the impact of celebrity endorsement on purchase decisions is primarily mediated through brand image rather than through direct influence or brand awareness. The study emphasizes the importance of leveraging celebrity endorsement to strengthen brand image in order to enhance consumer purchase decisions.

This Community Service Program (PkM) was implemented in response to the low level of Qur’anic literacy across age groups and the weak local da‘wah cadre regeneration in Sambueja Village, Maros Regency. Conducted through the Community Service Program (KKN) of students from the Institut Agama Islam (IAI) STIBA Makassar, the program aims to enhance cross-generational Qur’anic literacy while strengthening mosque-based local da‘wah cadre development. The implementation employed a community-based participation approach, actively involving community members from the stages of planning and implementation through to evaluation. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in Qur’anic reading proficiency among Dirosa participants, high levels of enthusiasm among children attending Qur’anic Learning Centers (TPQ), and the emergence of young cadres who have begun to assume active roles in religious activities, including serving as imams, khatibs, and preachers. Furthermore, the Mosque Management Board (DKM) and the village government expressed strong commitment to sustaining the program beyond the KKN period. Overall, this initiative contributes to strengthening religious literacy, expanding community participation in da‘wah activities, and establishing a sustainable mosque-based empowerment model for religious rural communities.

Assertiveness plays a critical role in adolescents’ social adjustment, especially in boarding schools where hierarchical interactions and peer influences are strongly embedded. Limited assertiveness skills increase students’ vulnerability to psychological pressure, difficulty refusing negative peer demands, and challenges in expressing their needs appropriately. This study examined the effectiveness of Islamic values–based Assertive Training in improving assertiveness among boarding school students. A quasi-experimental pre–post test with control group design was conducted involving 93 dormitory students (46 intervention, 47 control) from a senior high school in Gowa Regency. Assertiveness was measured using the 38-item Assertive Behavior Scale (Cronbach’s α = 0.896). The intervention was delivered through five structured sessions integrating behavioral assertive training components with Islamic moral principles such as ṣidq (truthfulness), amanah (responsibility), rahmah (compassion), and adab al-kalām (proper speech). Data analysis using paired t-test showed a significant increase in assertiveness scores in the intervention group (t(45) = –14.694, p = 0.001; Cohen’s d = 2.17), indicating a very large effect size. Conversely, the control group showed no meaningful improvement (t(46) = –0.904, p = 0.371). Post-test comparison using independent t-test also revealed significantly higher assertiveness scores in the intervention group compared to the control group (p = 0.001). These findings demonstrate that Islamic values–based Assertive Training effectively enhances students’ interpersonal communication abilities and internal motivation for appropriate self-expression. The intervention model is recommended as a promotive preventive strategy to strengthen adolescents’ social competence within Islamic boarding school contexts.

Fenomena karoshi atau kematian akibat kerja berlebihan merepresentasikan krisis eksistensial dalam budaya kerja Jepang kontemporer yang mengancam martabat fundamental manusia sebagai subjek rasional. Penelitian ini menganalisis representasi budaya kerja Jepang dalam serial televisi Hanzawa Naoki melalui kerangka etika deontologis Immanuel Kant untuk mengungkap kontradiksi antara imperatif kategoris penghormatan terhadap kemanusiaan dengan praktik karoshi yang terinstitusionalisasi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-interpretatif, penelitian ini mengintegrasikan analisis semiotika multimodal dengan kritik filosofis Kantian untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana narasi sinematik menormalisasi eksploitasi sistemik terhadap pekerja. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa meskipun drama tersebut mengekspos korupsi korporat, representasinya tetap melegitimasi Karoshi sebagai normalitas yang tak terhindarkan, melanggar Formula Kemanusiaan Kant dengan mereduksi pekerja menjadi instrumen produktivitas dan menghancurkan otonomi moral melalui struktur hierarkis rigid. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan diskursus interdisipliner tentang etika terapan, budaya visual, dan kritik terhadap kapitalisme lanjut, menawarkan fondasi konseptual bagi rekonstruksi kebijakan manajemen yang humanis.

Student achievement is a crucial indicator for evaluating the effectiveness of the learning process in educational institutions. Variations in students’ academic performance indicate the influence of multiple internal and external factors, one of which is learning style. Learning style refers to an individual’s tendency in receiving, processing, and understanding information during the learning process. This article aims to comprehensively review the influence of learning styles on student achievement through a literature review approach. The method employed involves an in-depth analysis of textbooks, national and international journal articles, and relevant research reports addressing learning styles and academic achievement. The selected literature was analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify patterns, similarities, and differences in research findings. The results of the review indicate that learning styles are related to student achievement, although the degree of influence varies depending on educational level, subject characteristics, and instructional approaches. Visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles demonstrate different contributions to academic performance, particularly when instructional methods align with students’ learning preferences. However, the findings also reveal that learning style is not the sole determinant of student achievement. Other factors such as learning motivation, learning strategies, instructional quality, and learning environment play significant roles. Therefore, learning styles should be understood proportionally as one of several considerations in designing effective and inclusive instruction. This article recommends a holistic learning approach that not only accommodates diverse learning styles but also fosters students’ adaptability and independent learning skills to enhance academic achievement sustainably.

Fiscal policy constitutes a strategic instrument in national economic management that functions not only to maintain stability and promote economic growth, but also to realize social justice and public welfare. From an Islamic perspective, fiscal policy is grounded in the normative foundations of Sharīʿah and oriented toward the attainment of maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, particularly distributive justice and the promotion of public interest (maṣlaḥah ʿāmmah). This study aims to elucidate the fundamental concept of fiscal policy in Islam from both theoretical and historical perspectives; to analyze the principal Islamic fiscal instruments and their respective functions; to examine the strategic role of the Bayt al-Māl as the state’s fiscal institution; and to assess the relevance of Islamic fiscal policy in the context of the contemporary economy, including the strengthening of the Islamic economic sector and the halal industry. The research employs a qualitative–descriptive approach based on a library study, utilizing content analysis of classical and contemporary literature, regulatory documents, and relevant academic studies. The findings indicate that Islamic fiscal policy is built upon a strong and holistic normative foundation, with instruments such as zakāt, kharāj, jizyah, ʿushr, ghanīmah, fayʾ, and waqf functioning not only as sources of state revenue but also as mechanisms for redistribution and social protection. The Bayt al-Māl plays a central role as a public financial management institution and holds significant potential for revitalization within modern economic systems through transparent and integrated governance. This study affirms that Islamic fiscal policy remains relevant and strategic in addressing contemporary economic challenges, including social inequality and the development of the halal industry, thereby offering both a conceptual and practical alternative for the formulation of equitable and sustainable fiscal policies.

Law enforcement against Drug Users, Victims of Drug Abuse and Drug Addicts is regulated in Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, which adopts two justice systems: rehabilitation justice and criminal justice. In efforts to combat drug abuse, the rehabilitation justice system is often neglected by law enforcement officials in Indonesia. Examining several articles in the Drug Law, there is synergy to create a different handling system for Drug Abusers, Victims, and Addicts. Articles 54 and 103 focus more on rehabilitation, while Article 127 provides criminal penalties but also opens up opportunities for rehabilitation for victims. According to normative legal theory, drug addicts are actually victims who suffer from illness and require physical and psychological treatment, as well as support from the community, in order to live a normal life again. Implementing prison sentences alone is not sufficient in accordance with the perspective of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, which provides the right to rehabilitation for users, addicts, and victims of drug abuse, both voluntarily and through a judge's decision. However, the implementation of the right to rehabilitation for drug users in Indonesia has not reached an optimal level due to several obstacles, both internal and external. Law Number 35 of 2009, not only to provide a deterrent effect to perpetrators or prevent others from committing the same act, but also to ensure that perpetrators receive treatment, so they can return to society in a better condition. Penegakan hukum terhadap Pemakai, Korban Penyalahgunaan Narkotika dan Pecandu Narkotika diatur dalam UU No. 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika yang mengadopsi dua sistem peradilan, yaitu peradilan rehabilitasi dan peradilan pidana. Dalam upaya penanggulangan penyalahgunaan narkotika, sering kali sistem peradilan rehabilitasi diabaikan oleh aparat penegak hukum di Indonesia. Menelisik dari beberapa pasal dalam UU Narkoba, ada sinergitas untuk menciptakan sistem penanganan yang berbeda antara Penyalahguna, Korban dan Pecandu Narkotika, Pasal 54 dan Pasal 103 lebih fokus pada rehabilitasi, sedangkan pada Pasal 127 memberikan pidana, tetapi juga membuka peluang rehabilitasi bagi korban. Menurut teori yuridis normatif, pecandu narkotika sebenarnya adalah korban yang menderita penyakit dan membutuhkan perawatan fisik dan psikologis, serta dukungan dari masyarakat, agar bisa hidup normal kembali. Penerapan hukuman penjara saja belum cukup sesuai dengan perspektif Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika yang memberikan hak rehabilitasi bagi Pengguna, Pecandu dan Korban Penyalahguna Narkotika, baik secra sukarela maupun melalui putusan hakim. Namun, penerapan hak rehabilitasi terhadap pengguna narkotika di Indonesia belum mencapai tingkat optimal karena terdapat beberapa kendala, baik dari segi internal maupun eksternal. Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009, tidak hanya untuk memberikan efek jera kepada pelaku atau mencegah orang lain melakukan tindakan yang sama, tetapi juga untuk memastikan bahwa pelaku menerima perawatan, sehingga mereka dapat kembali ke masyarakat dalam kondisi yang lebih baik.
