Abstract

This study started from the problem of the difficulty of teaching modern Arabic idioms among students of Babussalam As-Sunnah Institute in Depok. Although proficiency in it is an important part and it has a big role when acquiring the Arabic language fully and completely. This study aimed to reveal the difficulties of the Arabic teaching as well as to clarify the proposed teaching methods for the teaching. This research used a qualitative and descriptive approach, which is an analysis used to collect metadata. This research was conducted at the Babussalam Islamic Boarding School an Educational Institution under the auspices of the Babussalam As-Sunnah Foundation, Cimanggis, Depok, West Java. The results of this study found that difficulties from the point of view of Arabic teachers involved in the study procced from the following main aspects: the educational environment, educational curriculum or in its broadest sense, learners and teachers. The result of the research indicated the proposed teaching methods for teaching modern Arabic idioms from the book, there are: the inductive method, standard method, informative or repeating or speech method and dialogue method.

Abstract

The large number of grammatical explanations in learning Qiroatul Kutub made students increasingly slow in understanding Arabic texts, especially in Tashrif Lughowy, which demanded many changes. In order to speed up students' understanding in short meetings, this research was important to carry out. This study aimed to develop Tashrif Lughowy learning in the project-based learning Qiroatul Kutub course using the Reverso web application and tested its feasibility. It was designed with research and development research with the ADDIE approach. Expert and product tests were conducted to assess the feasibility of the product being developed. Respondents in the product test were 36 Islamic studies students at the Indonesian Islamic University. This research was developed with an emphasis on collaborative learning. Lessons were designed with projects in the analysis of the Arabic text provided. The results of the study indicated that this product development was very feasible to use, with an expert test score of 82.6% and a product test score of 89.4%. An increase in ability was also obtained by 24.3%. Collaborative learning in Tashrif Lughowy was very helpful in accelerating student understanding and maximizing lecturers in providing feedback, accelerating student understanding in a short time. In its application, lecturers checked student project work intensively every week to get maximum feedback. Digitalization of education could accelerate the transformation of quality education, so the results of this research really needed to be applied in teaching Tashrif Lughowy in learning Qiroatul Polar with very short meetings.

Abstract

The problem of social inequality in society turns out to be difficult to solve, even though Islam advocates that wealth does not only revolve around certain circles. This article aims to uncover the factors that gave rise to social inequality during what the prophet Muhammad saw. and the solution. This research approach is qualitative with a type of literature review. Data collection through written works, using the perspective of the Quran and its implementation in the history of the prophet Muhammad. The result of this study is, first, the triggering factor for social inequality during the time of the prophet during the Makkah phase was the boycott of Muslims, resulting in famine. Meanwhile, the triggering factor for social inequality in Medina is the presence of the Muhajirins, which raises several social problems. Second: the solution given to the Makkah case is to open a boycott, and the Medina case with the at-taakhi program, taking away the rights of Muslims from the Quraysh and the program of caring and economic development of the people.

Abstract

Failure to train students to use dictionaries leads to a decline in interest in opening Arabic dictionaries. One of the dictionaries widespread among language students in Indonesia is Al-Munawar Dictionary by Ahmad Warsun Munawar. This research aims to know Al-Munawar Dictionary, the method of writing it, the method of revealing words in it, and to know the advantages and disadvantages of Al-Munawar Dictionary. The method of this research is the qualitative approach through desk study. The data analysis used in this research is content analysis where data sources are taken from books, articles or magazines. Results of this research: Ahmed Warsun Munawar wrote the Arabic-Indonesian Al-Munawar Dictionary in 1984 AD, but his first book was approximately in 1970 AD. The words in Al-Munawar Dictionary are arranged according to the first letter, noting the second, third, and fourth letters of the alphabetical order. Among the advantages of this dictionary is that it contains: Ease of searching for words. It consists of two entries. The synonym is found in some words. The word can have many meanings. The dictionary is designed with an Arabic grammar entry that shows morphological information. Surat Al-Fatiha is on the first page. This dictionary includes pictorial vocabulary. The presence of vowels. On all the vocabulary, the disadvantages of this dictionary include: its size is large and large, the movement, meanings and topics are not found in the illustrated vocabulary, and the lack of clarification in the illustrated vocabulary between it and the dictionary.

Abstract

The lack of well structured Arabic language planning in several Islamic educational institutions has led to fragmented learning and minimal real-world application of the language. This study had the urgency to explore the deeper causes of this issue and analyze how intentional language policy which is thoughtfully implemented can improve learners’ Arabic proficiency, connect language use to Islamic studies, and build a more immersive educational environment. This qualitative study critically analyzed the mid-level Arabic language planning policy at the Imam Shafi'i Islamic Boarding School in Lampung. Using a qualitative case study design, the data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with administrators, eight teachers, and twenty students, as well as curriculum and institutional document analysis. The findings revealed three core aspects of language planning at the islamic institution: (1) a strong emphasis on achieving proficiency in both spoken and written Arabic; (2) the integration of Arabic language materials with Islamic studies through a thoughtfully selected curriculum; and (3) the development of an Arabic-speaking environment. This study offered practical insights into how structured Arabic language planning can improve student proficiency in Islamic boarding schools. By examining the case of Imam Shafi'i Islamic Boarding School, it showed how integrating Arabic instruction with Islamic studies and building an immersive language environment can lead to more effective learning. The findings provided a model that other Islamic institutions can adapt to develop clearer language goals, strengthen teaching strategies, and create supportive environments for Arabic learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan seorang musafir muslim yang berkelana ke negeri Amerika untuk mengungkap bagaimana gambaran Amerika sebagai Negara baru tapi sudah maju. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data primer tulisan-tulisan dalam novel karya Muhammad Labib Al-Batnuni. Adapun teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan cara menyimak, membaca, memahami, mengorganisir, dan menginterpretasikan data berdasarkan konteksnya. Untuk teknik analisanya menggunakan teori milik Miles dan Huberman yang menyajikan 3 langkah; pertama, reduksi data, kedua penyajian data, dan ketiga penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perepresentasian liyan oleh Muhammad Labib menunjukkan bahwa penggambaran novel menempatkan narator sebagai pelancong yang secara aktif bersikap sehingga menentukan jalan cerita dalam perjalanannya.

Abstract

One of the strategies that has succeeded in improving students' language skills, carried out by STIBA Ar-Rayah Sukabumi Indonesia, is the Arabic reinforcement program for new students who find it difficult to learn Arabic. This study aims to describe the strategy of the Arabic Reinforcement program and its impact on improving the language skills of new students who start learning Arabic. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research of the Arabic Reinforcement program strategy for new students of STIBA Ar-Raya. Data was collected through observations, interviews, document studies, and questionnaires distributed to students. Data is analyzed simultaneously, starting from data collection, condensation, presentation, and concluding. The results of this study are: (1) The Arabic Reinforcement strategy is a type of student activity that varies from repeating the material taught in class, providing language materials, and providing additional materials, all of which are adjusted to the needs of students. (2) The Arabic Reinforcement strategy shall be implemented outside of lecture hours, on effective days or weekends, in the afternoon or evening, under the supervision of the Head of the Language Preparation Department, for fifty minutes after agreement with the student. (3) The Arabic Reinforcement strategy improves students' four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The conclusion of this study shows that additional academic activities contribute to increasing students' confidence in the use of Arabic so that such programs can be implemented in other Arabic language teaching institutions.

Abstract

Creating an enjoyable learning atmosphere is very necessary in this era, especially in learning Arabic in order to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes. Researchers used the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model as the right solution to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning and critical thinking. This study aims to determine the effect of Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) model to improve motivation and learning outcomes of Arabic language. Researchers used the Quasi Experiment method with pretest-posttest group design. The sample in this study consisted of 52 students who were divided into two classes, namely class A as an experimental class consisting of 26 students and class B as a control class of 26 students. The results of this study indicate an increase in learning motivation and student learning outcomes in Arabic language learning. This is evidenced by the hypothesis test where the sig value is 0.000 <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so there is an effect of the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) model to increase student motivation and learning outcomes in Arabic language learning.

Abstract

Dictionaries plays a significant role as the repository of language, preserving the culture and civilization of peoples through examples and evidence within it. It proves to be an effective tool for learning the Arabic language, especially for non-native speakers. This research Dictionaries come in various forms. They can be categorized based on the number of languages involved: monolingual and bilingual or multilingual. One prominent monolingual Arabic dictionary is the "Al-Wasith Dictionary" issued by Academy of the Arabic Language in Cairo. This research aims to critically study this dictionary, including an introduction to Academy of the Arabic Language, its achievements, and the methodology of compiling the dictionary. Additionally, this research seeks to analyze the advantages and disadvantages encountered by Arabic language learners during their use of this dictionary, ultimately proposing suggestions or remedies to enhance and improve it.

Abstract

مستخلص البحث: عملية تعليم مهارة القراءة في مدرسة نهضة العلماء المتوسطة الإسلامية فاكس مالانج هناك العديد من المشاكل في التعليم. من بينها قلة المفردات التي يتقنها الطلاب بحيث يجدون صعوبة في مهارة قراءة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك ، يشعر الطلاب بالملل والنعاس وقيمة الطلاب المتوسط منخفضة يشعرون بالصعوبة لفهم المقروء. لذلك ، أجرى الباحثة هذا البحث بتطبيق تقنية القراءة والتكوين التعاونية المتكاملة لتحسين مهارة القراءة لدى الطلاب .في هذا البحث ، استخدم الباحثة تطبيق تقنيات القراءة والتكوين التعاونية لتحسين قدرات الطلاب في مهارة القراءة فيمدرسة نهضة العلماء المتوسطة الإسلامية في باكس مالانج. اما المشكلة في هذه البحث هي: (1) كيف تعليم مهارة القراءة بأسلوب التعليم التعاوني التكاملي لدى طلاب مدرسة نهضة العلماء المتوسطة الإسلامية في فاكس مالانج؟ (2) ما العوامل الداعمة والعائقة باستخدام أسلوب التعليم التعاوني التكاملي لترقية مهارة القراءة لدى طلاب مدرسة نهضة العلماء المتوسطة الإسلامية في فاكس مالانج ؟ (3) ما مدى فعالية استخدام أسلوب التعليم التعاوني التكاملي لترقية مهارة القراءة لدى طلاب مدرسة نهضة العلماء المتوسطة الإسلامية في فاكس مالانج؟. استخدام الباحث الفصل التجريبي ودرجة التحكم المكونة من مجموعتين ، وهما الاختبار قبل وبعد الاختبار. المنهج المستخدم هو منهج كمي. الأدوات المستخدمة هي: المقابلة والملاحظة والاختبار.النتائج باستخدام اختبار الإحصائي تظهر نتائج الاختبار أن نتائجt-hitung هي 46,4 وأكبر من t-table1٪= 724,2 وأكبر منt-table 5٪.= 03,2. إذن ، فإن فرضية البحث مقبولة ، والنتيجة هي أن مقبول وأن تطبيق تقنية القراءة والتكوين التعاونية المتكاملة يمكن أن يكون فعالا. الكلمة المفتاحية: أسلوب التعليم التعاوني التكاملي، الكفاءة اللغوية، مهارة القراءة، اللغة العربية Abstract : In the process of learning to teach reading skills in MTs NU Pakis Malang there are several problems in learning. Among them is the lack of vocabulary mastered by students so that they have difficulty reading Arabic texts. In addition, students also feel bored and become passive students. Therefore, researchers carried out research by applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition technique to improve students' reading skills. The formulation of the problem in this study are: (1) How the Application of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition techniques to improve reading skills of students in NU MTs Pakis?. (2) What are the supporting and obstacle factors for using the integrative cooperative education method to improve the reading skill of the students in NU MTs Pakis?. (3) How is the effectiveness of the application of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition techniques to improve reading skills of students in NU MTs Pakis. The researcher used the experimental class and the control class consisting of two groups, namely, pre test and post test. The approach used is a quantitative approach. The instruments used are: interviews, observations, and test. How to calculate the results using the t-test. The test results show that the results of t-count are 4,46 and greater than t-table 1% = 2,724 and greater than t-table 5% = 2,03. So the research hypothesis is accepted, the result is that is accepted and the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition technique can be said to be effective. Keyword: CIRC, Language Competence, Reading Skill, Arabic Language Abstrak : Dalam proses pembelajaran mengajar keterampilan membaca di MTs NU Pakis Malang terdapat beberapa permasalahan dalam pembelajaran. Diantaranya adalah kurangnya penguasaan kosakata siswa sehingga mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca teks bahasa Arab. Selain itu siswa juga merasa bosan dan menjadi siswa yang pasif. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan menerapkan teknik Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana Penerapan Teknik Cooperative Integrated Reading dan Composition untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa MTs NU Pakis?. (2) Apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat penggunaan metode pendidikan kooperatif integratif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa MTs NU Pakis?. (3) Bagaimana efektivitas penerapan teknik Cooperative Integrated Reading dan Composition untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa MTs NU Pakis. Peneliti menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang terdiri dari dua kelompok yaitu pre test dan post test. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah: wawancara, observasi, dan tes. Cara menghitung hasilnya menggunakan uji-t. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan hasil t-hitung sebesar 4,46 lebih besar dari t-tabel 1% = 2,724 dan lebih besar dari t-tabel 5% = 2,03. Maka hipotesis penelitian diterima, hasilnya diterima dan penerapan teknik Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition dapat dikatakan efektif.
