Abstract

In everyday life, humans cannot live without electrical energy. Electricity has become a basic need that must be fulfilled. A backup source of electrical energy is needed when there is a disturbance of the main voltage source going out and can save electrical energy costs. This research will create a 1-phase inverter circuit using EGS002 as a sinusoidal pulse width modulation generator. SPWM is a modulation between the carrier wave and the main wave. The use of the SPWM method can also reduce the value of harmonic distortion arising from the energy conversion process. Inverter is a circuit that converts DC voltage into AC voltage in the form of a sinusoidal signal after going through wave formation and filter circuit, the resulting output voltage must be stable both the amplitude of the voltage and the frequency of the voltage produced, low distortion, no transient voltage and cannot be interrupted by a condition, the value of voltage and frequency can be adjusted To change the voltage from the main source to the backup source, a supporting device is needed in the form of an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is system equipment that can regulate the alternation of electrical power supply from the main PLN power source to a backup power source or generator that works automatically by controlling the timing. This research will change the voltage from the PLN source to the backup source from the solar power plant

Abstract

Manual hydroponic techniques still make it difficult for farmers to control nutrients accurately, so new innovations are needed to make it easier for farmers to farm with hydroponic methods. This study aims to develop hydroponic farming using internet of things technology. This study was conducted using an experimental method. With this method, researchers took some data such as volume, temperature nutrients and water pH and then compared them with actual values. The author also took some component stress measurement data and then compared it with the component datasheet to determine the condition and suitability of the component. The research object used is celery plants. The test results prove that the development of monitoring and control technology for hydroponic planting media has been successfully carried out. Testing proves that the system can automatically control nutrients and pH and monitor the condition of the planting media at the same time. When nutrients are added, the pH of the water decreases because the graph of increasing nutrients is inversely proportional to the decrease in water pH. When the pH of the water decreases, the motor automatically turns on to increase the pH to the ideal value. Thus, farmers can more easily control the nutrients in the planting media.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the quality and kinematics of spermatozoa in fresh and frozen semen of coastal cattle. Semen of coastal cattle was collected using an artificial vagina from 2 males, fresh semen was tested and frozen using tris egg yolk diluent. Fresh and frozen semen of coastal cattle were evaluated using a Computer Assisted Sperm Analyzer (CASA). This study used a t-test analysis by comparing the quality and kinematics of spermatozoa of fresh semen and frozen semen of coastal cattle. The parameters observed were macroscopic, microscopic and CASA quality observations. The results showed the kinematics of fresh and frozen semen motility (83.83%; 71.68%) and the kinematics of progressive motility of fresh and frozen semen (80.81%; 59.56%). Based on the results of the t-test analysis, it was found that t count > t table, the kinematics of fresh semen spermatozoa had a significant effect on the frozen semen of Pesisir cattle on the motility of fresh semen and frozen semen, on the progressive motility of fresh semen and frozen semen. The characteristic values ​​of kinematics in fresh semen and frozen semen of Pesisir cattle were respectively velocity curvilinear (VCL) 178.94 μm/s and 108.52 μm/s; velocity straight line (VSL) 96.61 μm/s and 49.34 μm/s; velocity average path (VAP) 114.99 μm/s and 64.04 μm/s; linearity (LIN) 0.53% and 0.44%; straightness (STR) 0.83% and 0.75%; wobble (WOB) 0.64% and 0.58%; lateral head displacement (ALH) amplitude 5.83 μm and 5.15 μm; beat cross frequency (BCF) 35.28 Hz and 24.65 Hz. The kinematics of fresh and frozen semen spermatozoa significantly affect the value of motility characteristics. The conclusion of the results of this study is that there is a decrease in the quality of fresh semen kinematics and frozen semen kinematics spermatozoa on the value of motility characteristics, namely on the speed of spermatozoa at the velocity curvilinear (VCL), velocity straight line (VSL), and velocity average path (VAP), linearity (LIN), straightness (STR), and wobble (WOB) and on the distance value of spermatozoa amplitude lateral head displacement (ALH) and beat cross frequency (BCF).

Abstract

Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa metode penelitian Tesis mahasiswa di Program Studi Magister Manajemen Pendidikan bervariasi, namun belum teridentifikasi sehingga belum diketahui arah kecenderungannya secara pasti. Sementara, informasi tentang kecenderungan metode penelitian serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya merupakan informasi penting dalam pengembangan kurikulum maupun dasar pengambilan keputusan program berkaitan dengan upaya peningkatan mutu akademik di Program Studi Magister Manajemen Pendidikan Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui arah kecenderungan metode yang digunakanan oleh mahasiswa di Program Studi Magister Manajemen Pendidikan dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Obyek penelitian adalah Tesis mahahiswa Program Studi Magister Manajemen Pendidikan Tahun 2021 dan 2022. Data diproses menggunakan teknik non-tes melalui interview, angket, dan dokumentasi, dan selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Metode penelitian tesis mahasiswa di Program Studi Magister Manajemen Pendidikan Universitas Jambi bervariasi meliputi metode kualitatif (studi kasus, studi dokumen, wawancara terpusat, fenomenologi) dan metode kuantitatif (survey); 2) Faktor-faktor yang turut menentukan pemilihan metode penelitian mahasiswa yaitu: dosen pembimbing tesis; kompetensi pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap objek penelitian; dan pengaruh kawan kuliah.

Abstract

Beberapa tahun terakhir, Lingga menghadapi degradasi ekologis akibat berbagai bentuk pencemaran dan perusakan lingkungan, hal ini disebabkan oleh limbah domestik dan industri, perusakan ekosistem mangrove, serta praktik penangkapan ikan ilegal (illegal fishing) telah menurunkan kualitas lingkungan pesisir dan laut. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman hukum lingkungan dan kesadaran generasi muda pesisir terhadap pentingnya menjaga kelestarian wilayah laut dan pesisir di Kabupaten Lingga. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model Focus Group Discussion (FGD) sebagai metode utama yang menekankan pada partisipasi aktif peserta melalui ceramah, tanya jawab, dan diskusi interaktif. Melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif ini, peserta memperoleh pemahaman lebih mendalam mengenai tindak pidana lingkungan, dasar hukum yang mengaturnya, serta peran masyarakat dalam pencegahan pencemaran laut dan perusakan ekosistem pesisir. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif berdasarkan hasil observasi, evaluasi pre-test dan post-test, serta respon peserta selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan terhadap pemahaman hukum lingkungan dan tumbuhnya kesadaran sosial siswa untuk berperan aktif dalam menjaga lingkungan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa model FGD efektif diterapkan sebagai sarana edukasi hukum lingkungan berbasis partisipatif di kawasan pesisir.

Abstract

This article examines the method employed by the Tarekat Satri community in Bukittinggi to determine the beginning of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. This method diverges from the Indonesian government’s official approach in 1445 AH. The study aims to provide a deeper analysis of the astronomical basis of the Satri community’s criteria for determining Eid al-Fitr. This research adopts a qualitative design, drawing on both primary and secondary data. Data were collected through interviews and document analysis. The findings reveal that the Satri method exhibits substantial weaknesses from an astronomical standpoint. First, determining the new moon relies heavily on subjective estimates, such as predicting the arrival of Shaʿban 8 by observing the moon's apparent size. Second, the process lacks systematic rigor because it does not utilize standard astronomical instruments to ensure the precision of observational data. These limitations contribute to the discrepancies between the community’s calendar and the Indonesian government’s official calculations.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of stock markets integration among ASEAN-5 that is Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand plus China. Using daily data for the January 2, 2003 to December 31, 2009 period, the study employs the Johansen and Juselius multivariate cointegration procedures. In particular, this study considers whether the ASEAN-5 plus China markets are integrated or segmented using the time series technique of cointegration to extract long-run relations. The empirical results suggest that the ASEAN-5 plus China stock markets are cointegrated and are thus not completely segmented by national borders. However, there is only one cointegrating vector, leaving four common trends among the five variables. We therefore conclude that ASEAN-5 plus China stock markets are integrated in the economic sense, but that integration is far from complete. On a policy level, initiatives to further integrate the stock markets are feasible, and in fact desirable. From the perspective of the international portfolio investor, benefits of international portfolio diversification across the five markets are reduced but not eliminated.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil IMT mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga IKIP PGRI Kaltim. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yaitu, “suatu penelitian yang berusaha menggambarkan peristiwa-peristiwa dan kejadian serta gejala (fenomena) yang ada pada masa sekarang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, analisis dan pengolahan data, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa hasil IMT mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga IKIP PGRI Kaltim, antara lain: memiliki rata-rata tinggi badan 162 cm dengan tinggi badan tertinggi 170 cm dan terpendek 150 cm. hasil pengukuran berat badan memiliki nilai rata-rata 62 Kg dengan berat badan terberat 89 Kg dan berat badan teringan 46 Kg.

Abstract

Dalam era perkembangan teknologi dan informasi yang berkembang pesat seperti saat ini. Hal ini menjadi faktor pendorong penerapan sistem pemerintahan berbasis teknologi. Rumah sakit umum daerah prof. Dr. H. M. Chatib quzwain sarolangun merupakan salah satu pelayanan publik yang memanfaatkan website sebagai media persebaran informasi dan komunikasi, namun berdasarkan 12 angket kuesioner yang telah disebarkan melalui google form ke beberapa pengguna dan didapatkan beberapa masalah pada website seperti informasi yang kurang up to date dan banyak fitur yang tidak dapat diakses untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kualitas layanan website terhadap kepuasan pengguna. Maka perlu dilakukan analisis terhadap website RSUD tersebut melalui metode yang digunakan adalah webqual 4.0 yang merupakan metode analisis website berdasarkan persepsi pengguna. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner berdasarkan skala likert. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah pengguna website rumah sakit umum daerah prof. Dr. H. M. Chatib quzwain sarolangun dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 338 orang dari hasil perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh nilai t hitung variabel usability quality sebesar 4,636 dibandingkan dengan nilai t hitung variabel information quality sebesar 5,547 dan variabel service interaction quality sebesar 4,389 dengan begitu variabel information quality memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar dibandingkan usability quality dan service interaction qualitity
