Abstract

Stock crowdfunding has become an increasingly popular phenomenon in Indonesia, offering new opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to access capital by involving individual investors. However, the success of stock crowdfunding is uncertain and is related to several factors, including the use of signaling hypotheses by companies and the level of financial literacy among investors. This research aims to explore the potential and success of stock crowdfunding in Indonesia by examining signaling hypotheses and the financial literacy challenges faced. The research method used is qualitative, analyzing data from relevant journals, articles, and books. The results show that signaling hypotheses play a significant role in influencing investor interest and the success of stock crowdfunding campaigns. Companies that use positive signals, such as strong financial performance or the participation of prominent investors, tend to be more successful in attracting potential investors. However, financial literacy challenges, such as a lack of understanding of investment concepts and financial risks, are significant barriers to increasing participation and success in stock crowdfunding in Indonesia.

Abstract

This conceptual paper develops an integrative framework for responsible growth in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The analysis connects the resource-based view, dynamic capabilities, absorptive capacity, organizational learning, social capital, open innovation, resilience, and entrepreneurial-ecosystem perspectives. It does not claim primary survey, interview, experimental, or statistical data. The synthesis argues that financial discipline, stakeholder value, adaptive capability, risk governance, and organizational learning should be organized as repeatable managerial routines rather than treated as isolated interventions. The framework proposes staged diagnosis, implementation, evaluation, and learning mechanisms and identifies implications for owner-managers, support organizations, and future empirical research.

Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes Social Security Administering Agency (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial/BPJS) outpatient registration waiting time and integrates it with a SERVQUAL-based model to assess service quality and patient satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic.Research Methodology: This study used an integrative quantitative design that combined objective time-and-motion observations and a SERVQUAL questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. The Service Quality (SERVQUAL) variables consisted of Tangibles (X1), Reliability (X2), Responsiveness (X3), Assurance (X4), Empathy (X5), and Patient Satisfaction (Y).Results: The observation data showed an average total waiting time of 72.86 minutes, exceeding the ?60-minute national outpatient standard. Medical-record distribution averaged 18.80 minutes, while consultation waiting time averaged 44.31 minutes. The SERVQUAL analysis linked these delays to Reliability, Responsiveness, and Assurance as the most relevant dimensions in explaining patient satisfaction, with the regression model explaining 67.6% of the variance (R Square = 0.676).Conclusions: Waiting time can serve as an operational indicator for interpreting service quality using SERVQUAL. Reliability, Responsiveness, and Assurance are central dimensions for improving outpatient BPJS registration services.Limitations: The study was conducted in one hospital and one observation period during the COVID-19 pandemic.Contributions: This study offers a managerial framework linking waiting-time measurement, SERVQUAL dimensions, patient satisfaction, and operational improvement in hospital services

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of telemedicine as an alternative mode of healthcare delivery. In the post-pandemic period, however, continued telemedicine use is no longer driven by situational constraints but by patients’ evaluations of service value. Evidence on telemedicine usage retention in regions with heterogeneous healthcare access remains limited. This study examines the factors influencing patients’ decisions to retain telemedicine use in the post-pandemic context in Bali and West Nusa Tenggara. A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted involving 102 patients selected through purposive sampling based on their prior telemedicine experience. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression to assess the effects of service provider quality, price, ease of use, availability of healthcare professionals, supporting facilities, promotion, and distance to healthcare facilities on telemedicine usage retention. The results show that all variables jointly have a significant effect on telemedicine usage retention (p < 0.001), explaining 53.39% of the variance. Service provider quality emerged as the strongest determinant (27.19%), followed by price (5.94%), ease of use (5.51%), availability of healthcare professionals (5.40%), distance to healthcare facilities (4.59%), supporting facilities (3.59%), and promotion (1.16%). These findings indicate that telemedicine usage retention is shaped by service-related, technological, and geographical factors. This study concludes that sustaining telemedicine use beyond the pandemic requires prioritizing service provider quality alongside affordability, usability, and access considerations. Telemedicine providers and hospitals should strengthen provider competence and integrate telemedicine into routine care pathways to support long-term utilization. Keywords: telemedicine, usage retention, patient decision-making, post-pandemic healthcare
