Abstract

User reviews on Google Play Store reflect satisfaction and expectations regarding digital services, including E-Government applications. This study aims to optimize IndoBERT performance in sentiment classification through fine-tuning and hyperparameter exploration using three methods: Grid Search, Random Search, and Bayesian Optimization. Experiments were conducted on Sinaga Mobile app reviews, evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, learning curve, and confusion matrix. The results show that Grid Search with a learning rate of 5e-5 and a batch size of 16 provides the best results, with an accuracy of 90.55%, precision of 91.16%, recall of 90.55%, and F1-score of 89.75%. The learning curve indicates stable training without overfitting. This study provides practical contributions as a guide for improving IndoBERT in Indonesian sentiment analysis and as a foundation for developing NLP-based review monitoring systems to enhance public digital services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the maturity level of Information Technology (IT) governance at PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI) between 2023 and 2024 using the COBIT 2019 framework. The background of this study is based on the operational complexity of KCI which serves a high daily passenger volume, so that the information system becomes the backbone of the smooth transportation service. The method used is a descriptive-comparative case study with a mixed approach, through interviews, Likert scale questionnaires, and internal document reviews such as IT audit reports and government regulations. The results of the analysis show a significant and consistent increase, where the level of IT governance maturity which was previously at level 2 (Managed) and 3 (Defined) in 2023, increased to level 3 and 4 (Quantitatively Managed) in 2024. The most prominent improvements were seen in the strategic domain EDM01 (Ensure Governance Framework Setting) and the operational domain DSS01 (Manage Operations), which successfully reached level 4. This success reflects top management's commitment and ongoing internal evaluation in strengthening IT governance strategically and operationally. The research findings confirm that annual evaluations serve as an objective benchmark for identifying governance gaps, developing digital strategies, and determining future IT investment priorities. Overall, this study confirms that regular assessments can improve the effectiveness of data-driven IT transformation and ensure alignment of IT implementation with the company's business objectives.

Abstract

Gold has long been recognized as a safe haven asset, especially during economic uncertainty. Accurate prediction of gold jewelry sales is essential for inventory management and business strategy, particularly in high-demand regions such as Imogiri. This study aims to compare the accuracy levels of three machine learning methods—Naïve Bayes, Random Forest, and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM)—in predicting gold jewelry sales using historical transaction data from Toko Emas Parimas. The dataset comprises 4,595 records from January 2022 to December 2024. The research employs data preprocessing, including data cleaning, feature transformation, and normalization, followed by classification into sales categories. Two data-splitting schemes (80:20 and 70:30) were implemented to evaluate model generalization. The models were trained and tested using performance metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results show that Random Forest achieved perfect classification with an accuracy of 1.00 in both schemes, outperforming the other models. Naïve Bayes also performed well with accuracy up to 0.98, while LSTM showed moderate results with accuracy ranging from 0.82 to 0.88. These findings indicate that Random Forest is the most reliable model for sales prediction of gold jewelry, especially for static classification tasks. The study provides practical insights for retailers and decision-makers in selecting suitable analytical models, and it highlights the importance of aligning analytical methods with data characteristics to improve decision support systems in retail.

Abstract

Stunting continues to be a significant public health concern in Indonesia, with a frequency of 17.25% at Kembaran 1 Public Health Center, highlighting ongoing difficulties in early childhood nutrition and growth surveillance. This work seeks to assess and forecast stunting risk in toddlers by employing K-Means clustering and Naive Bayes classification to enhance early detection precision. The K-Means method was utilized on 1,168 toddler growth records to categorize stunting features, whereas the Davies–Bouldin Index (DBI) was employed to evaluate cluster quality. The ideal cluster was attained at k = 8, yielding a DBI value of 4.353, indicating compact and distinctly differentiated clusters. The Naive Bayes classifier subsequently predicted stunting potential with an accuracy of 93.56%, accurately categorizing 218 out of 233 test examples, yielding precision, recall, and F1-score values for the “short” class of 97.41%, 94.95%, and 96.18%, respectively. The findings indicate that the hybrid model successfully combines unsupervised and supervised learning, improving stunting prediction accuracy and cluster interpretability. The research provides a data-centric framework for localized stunting surveillance, aiding community health centers in formulating targeted early treatments and mitigating long-term developmental hazards.

Abstract

This study develops a personalized and transparent rule-based expert system to support dietary decision-making for Indonesian patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), addressing a critical gap in existing expert-system applications that focus mainly on diagnosis rather than daily diet management. The system integrates knowledge derived from the Indonesian GERD Consensus (2022) and its 2024 addendum with local nutritional evidence to construct if–then rules that classify foods into safe, limit, and avoid categories. A forward-chaining inference engine processes user-specific inputs—including symptoms, trigger sensitivities, eating behaviors, and dietary restrictions—while the Certainty Factor (CF) model quantifies confidence levels to accommodate individual tolerance variability. The system was implemented using Python and deployed through a Gradio-based wizard interface, enabling stepwise data collection and producing Top-N food recommendations with explainable “reason traces.” Functional evaluations across mild, moderate, and severe profiles demonstrated consistent alignment with national dietary guidelines, steering users toward low-fat, non-spicy, soft-textured, and clear-broth menu options, while eliminating high-risk trigger foods. Preliminary expert validation indicated high agreement with guideline principles, emphasizing the system’s interpretability and practical relevance. This research contributes to the field of health informatics by operationalizing forward chaining and CF for personalized dietary support, offering an auditable and computationally efficient alternative to black-box recommendation systems. Future developments include expanding the food dataset, refining CF calibration, and conducting structured clinical validation to enhance performance and applicability in real-world mHealth environments.
