Abstract

Multimedia interaktif pada dasarnya memiliki unsur media gambar, audio, video, dan animasi yang dapat mendukung gaya belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini mengembangkan multimedia interaktif untuk materi luas dan keliling jajargenjang berbasis PMRI di kelas VII Sekolah Menengah Pertama guna mendorong peserta didik dapat menemukan konsep matematika. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 10 Palembang dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yaitu model pengembangan Alessi dan Trollip. Uji alpha dilakukan untuk menguji validitas multimedia interaktif,  menurut penilaian tiga ahli yaitu ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli desain, multimedia interaktif materi luas dan keliling jajargenjang berbasis PMRI ini dinyatakan valid dan layak diujicobakan. Pada tahap uji beta, berdasarkan hasil angket dari peserta didik bahwa kepraktisan multimedia interaktif berbasis PMRI sangat tinggi. Demikian juga untuk efek potensialnya yang terlihat dari hasil uji coba lapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan konteks kaca pada gedung dapat merangsang peserta didik mengembangkan pengetahuan mereka tentang konsep luas dan keliling jajargenjang. Semua strategi  yang mereka temukan, didiskusikan sehingga akhirnya menunjukkan hasil kontribusinya untuk selanjutnya digunakan untuk membantu peserta didik dalam menemukan konsep luas dan keliling jajargenjang.In principle interactive multimedia consist of picture, audio, video and animation who able to support thestudent in learning. This research develop interactive multimedia area and perimeter of paralellogram PMRI based at level VII Junior High School aim to encourage student find the mathematic concept. Research conducted at SMPN 10 Palembang using development model Alessi and Trollip. Alpha test was conducted to examine the validity of interactive multimedia, based on reviews from the three professionals expert of media, material and design, interactive multimedia area and perimeter of paralellogram PMRI based are valid and feasible to be tested. On Beta test stage, based on questionnare of students simplicity of interactive multimedia PMRI based is high. Effect potential present of the field test result that shown utilization of context of glass building able to stimulate students developing knowledge of area and perimeter of paralellogram. Find all strategies, discussion, then result is contribute to helping students to find the concept of area and perimeter of paralellogram.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce items of PISA mathematics using the context of swimming sports that was valid, practical and had potential effects of the problem on students mathematical literacy ability. The method used was designed research type development study. This method consisted of two stages, preliminary and formative evaluation. The data collection techniques used walkthrough interviews, documentation, and tests. The items were validated by four experts for the expert review and three students on one-to-one. The validity of this developed problem was seen from its compatibility with the PISA framework. Practicality seen from small group test results involved six students. The developed items were practical because they were easily understood and used by the students. The potential effects were identified based on the analysis of students answers on the field test stage. The field test was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Palembang for 31 students. The results of this study generated PISA-like problems using the context of swimming sports that were valid, practical and had potential effects on students mathematical literacy skills. In this study, the students mathematical literacy skills arose to include mathematical ability, reasoning and argumentation ability, and ability to choose strategies to solve problems

Abstract

One way to improve the quality of mathematics learning in Indonesia, achievement in PISA in particular, is by conducting PISA related researches. This study aims to generate a valid, practical, and having potential effect PISA task using a weight-lifting context. It is design research in which the development process was done by the Tessmers formative evaluation. The data were collected through walkthrough, interviews, documentation, and tests. The test items validation process involved three experts at expert review stage and three students in the one-to-one phase. The validity of the items was checked from its compatibility with the PISA framework regarding content, context, literacy process and level of questions. The practicality was examined from small group test results of the six students. The developed items are practical since students easily understand them and they are easy to use. The potential effects of the developed items were seen based on the capabilities students engaged in during their process of solving the given problem. The developed PISA task capable of generating fundamental mathematical competences, i.e., communication; representation; mathematization; reasoning and arguments; choosing strategies to solve problems; using language and symbolic, formal and technical operations.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan soal matematika serupa PISAmenggunakan konteks Lari yang valid, praktis dan memiliki efek potensial. Metode yangdigunakan adalah development research. Proses pengembangan dilakukan dalam duatahapan, yaitu Preliminary dan prototyping. Pada tahapan prototyping (formative evaluation)dibagi menjadi fase self evaluation, expert review & one-to-one, small group, dan field test.Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, walkthrough, dokumentasidan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriftif kualitatif. Kesimpulan daripenelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1)Peneliti menemukan beberapa strategi berbeda yangdilakukan oleh siswa untuk menyelesaikan soal yang diberikan; (2) Beberapa siswa memilikikemampuan dasar matematika yang baik dalam menyelesaikan soal yang diberikan, sepertikemampuan komunikasi, penalaran dan argumen, merumuskan strategi untuk menyelesaikanmasalah, dan melakukan operasi; (3) peneliti menemukan beberapa siswa yang melakukankesalahan pada penjumlahan bilangan desimal dan kesalahan dalam menkonversikan satuanwaktu, seperti menkonversikan detik ke jam.

Abstract

This research aim to develop a valid and practical problem High Order Thinking Type Application Volume Cube and Cuboid based Problem Based Learning for  secondary school.  This is a development studies with formative evaluation type. Data collection technique include walk through, documentation, interview, test, and questionnaires. The prototype is valid qualitatively by validators that are expert. In aditonal expert have also stated that prototype is practical problem for. It has also been tested to eight grade student to know the quantitative validity and reliability of each item. This study result fifteen item exam high order thiking type application volume cube and cuboid  based problem based learning for eight grade student.

Abstract

Resolving math problems PISA can assist students in training students' mathematical skills. This aims research to (1) Generate math problems of PISA type work context for valid and practical junior high school students, (2) Knowing the potential effects of mathematics on PISA type of work context on the mathematics ability of junior high school students. The method in this research is research method design research with type development studies consists of two stages namely preliminary or preparation and stage prototiping (formative evaluation) which cover self evaluation, expert reviews and oneto- one, small group, and field test. This research involves 2 mathematicians and students of the class VII SMP Negeri 5 Pangkalpinang. Data collection techniques used are walkthrough, documentation, questionnaires, test results, and interviews. This research produces 10 device type problem PISA context occupation on the material SMP that is valid and practical, as well as having a potential effect on students' mathematical abilities. Kevalidan problem based on expert comments (expert review) and test of empirical validity and reliability test , as well as subject comments one-to-one. On test small group obtained data about practicality problem, and phase field test obtained data on potential effects on students' mathematical abilities that students appear when working on questions. The results of the problem analysis reveal some of the students' difficulties in doing the questions seen from mathematical skills include communication skills, mathematization, representation, reasoning and argumentation, problem-solving strategies, and the ability to use symbolic or language formal.

Abstract

This research aims to produce learning trajectory that can help students in learning material on the linear equation system with two variables (SPLDV). In this research, the method used design research. First stage, preparing for experiment. Second stage is the design experiment. The last stage is retrospective analysis. The learning approach used Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI). Subjects in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Palembang. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation, interview, video recording in classroom learning activities, collection of student work and collection of student test results. Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) is designed to compare with Actual Learning Trajectory (ALT) to analyze whether there is any difference between both of them. A retrospective analysis of SPLDV material learning shows that using the context of a train ticket receiptscan assist students in understanding SPLDV materials.

Abstract

Artikel ini berfokus pada eksplorasi pemahaman siswa dalam mengidentifikasi informasi atau hal-hal mengenai konsep perbandingan melalui cerita atau permasalahan serta untuk mengetahui sejauh mana siswa memaknai arti perbandingan senilai. Penelitian ini merupakan desain riset yang menggunakan pendekatan PMRI (Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia) dengan cerita sebagai konteks awal pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Palembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan konteks cerita dapat membantu siswa mampu mengidentifikasi informasi atau hal-hal mengenai konsep perbandingan dan memahami arti perbandingan senilai. Penggunaaan cerita sebagai konteks awal pembelajaran dapat memberikan pengaruh yang positif pada pembelajaran matematika yang lebih menyenangkan, dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika yang dipelajari.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan soal non rutin berbasis komputer yang valid, dan praktis dan memiliki efek potensial untuk melatih kemampuan dasar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Belitang III. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di kelas VIII4 SMP Negeri 2 Belitang III. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, walkthrough, tes, wawancara, dan angket. Dokumentasi sebagai data pelengkap dalam penelitian. Walkthrough untuk mengetahui kevalidan dan kepraktisasn soal. Tes digunakan untuk mengetahui efek potensial soal. Wawancara dan angket digunakan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan efek potensial soal non rutin berbasis komputer. Hasil penelitian yaitu telah dikembangkan soal non rutin berbasis komputer yang valid, praktis dan memiliki efek potensial untuk melatih penggunaan kemampuan matematika siswa.   Kata kunci: soal non rutin berbasis computer, kemampuan matematika

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan cara siswa belajar memahami satuan pengukuran panjang standar menggunakan permainan tradisional batok kelapa untuk kelas dua sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain riset dengan Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT). Penelitian dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu desain awal, percobaan mengajar, dan analisis retrospektif. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN 1 Palembang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui rekaman video terhadap peristiwa di kelas dan kerja kelompok, pengumpulan pekerjaan siswa, pemberian pretes dan postes, dan wawancara dengan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap pengukuran panjang dapat dirangsang dengan menggunakan permainan tradisional batok kelapa sebagai konteks. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan bahwa PMRI dapat digunakan sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran pengukuran panjang di sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: pengukuran panjang, batok kelapa, desain riset, PMRI USING TRADITIONAL GAME OF BATOK KELAPA IN LENGTH MEASUREMENT FOR THE SECOND GRADE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL Abstract: This research aims to investigate how students learn to understand the unit standards of length measurement using a traditional game of batok kelapa for the second grade of primary school. The method is the design research with Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) was developed and a set of activities was performed to gain a better understanding of how to develop an understanding of length measurement through three phases, namely preliminary design, teaching experiment, and retrospective analysis. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Palembang. Data collections were generated through video recordings of classroom events and group work, collecting student work, giving pre-test and post-test, and interviewing the students. The results indicate that students' understanding of length measurements can be stimulated by using traditional game of batok kelapa as a context. Based on these results, it is advised that PMRI can be used as an approach of teaching and learning of measurement length in primary schools.
