Abstract

This research aims to develop learning methods at Pontianak State Polytechnic to improve practicum efficiency and student understanding in digital electronics courses. The research includes making learning modules in the form of trainers, antibounce switches, system trials, and tool demonstrations. The developed module is equipped with a guidebook and includes power blocks, inputs, outputs, circuits, as well as guidebooks with logic, combinational, and sequential gate circuits. Data was collected through testing the efficiency of the module by comparing the usage time of the module and IC with the protoboard, as well as a survey to 3rd semester Electrical Engineering students using Google Forms. Quantitative descriptive data analysis shows that assembly with the module is faster than with manual IC. The module feasibility test results showed a percentage of 88% on material, 89% on technical, 92% on feasibility, and 91% on benefits, indicating that the module is very feasible to use as a companion to digital electronics courses.

Abstract

In the era of digitalization 4.0, technology plays a crucial role in enhancing efficiency across various industrial sectors. This research proposes the design and development of a Robot Line Follower AGV for automated goods transportation. This robot utilizes an Arduino Uno microcontroller as the control center and is equipped with four primary sensors: IR TCRT5000, Ultrasonic HC-SR04, Load Cell, and TCS3200 Color Sensor. Output indicators, including a Buzzer and LED, provide operational feedback, while a DC motor is controlled by a PID algorithm to ensure accurate movement along the path. The development of this system is expected to improve the efficiency of goods transportation processes while fostering innovation in the industrial and creative economy sectors.

Abstract

The Carolina Reaper chili, known for its extreme spiciness reaching up to 2,200,000 Scoville Heat Units, requires meticulous cultivation methods for optimal yield. This research emphasizes the importance of proper fertilization and irrigation. An automatic drip fertigation system is introduced to address issues such as inconsistent watering and nutrient imbalance. The system employs waterproof ultrasonic sensors, soil moisture sensors, RTC, and a DHT22 temperature sensor, monitored via Internet of Things (IoT) technology. An Arduino Uno controls the timing, soil moisture, greenhouse temperature, and fertilizer liquid level. A relay-operated solenoid valve is used to automatically supply fertilizer and water. The implementation of this system enhances the efficiency of water and fertilizer use, ensures consistent irrigation, and facilitates plant monitoring. This technology has the potential to improve the yield and quality of Carolina Reaper chilies while reducing labor costs and resource usage in modern agricultural practices.

Abstract

This study aims to classify student learning outcomes and determine the accuracy of the research methods. The research was conducted at MAS Amaliyah Sunggal in 2024. This research applies data mining using the Naïve Bayes algorithm method and testing the accuracy of the Naïve Bayes method with RapidMiner. The data used consists of secondary data obtained directly from the school and data from distributing questionnaires. The population is all third-grade high school students T.A. 2023/2024, which amounted to 151 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling with a sample size of 60 people, which will be used as a dataset. The attributes used amounted to 10 and 1 class attribute for classification. Data analysis is done with the Bayes theorem equation with 60 training data and 1 testing data. The analysis results show that the highest probability value is in the P (H = Very Good) class of 0.4061516, which can be concluded by the classification of learning outcomes on report cards T.A. 2023/2024, categorized as very good. Based on the results of testing the level of accuracy of the Naïve Bayes method with RapidMiner using the provisions of 70% training data and 30% testing data, it shows an accuracy value of 94.44%, which means that the Naïve Bayes method is good enough to be used to classify student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the determinants of the success of MB-KM implementation and their impact on strengthening the capacity of graduates in the Program Studi Manajemen FEB UNIKOM. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using SWOT analysis. Samples were taken randomly consisting of lecturers, education staff, and active students in the Management Study Program FEB UNIKOM through questionnaires, observation and documentation. The results show that the factors that determine the success of MB-KM implementation and its impact on influencing the quality of graduates consist of the readiness of human resources, curriculum development that adapts to the industrial revolution 4.0, facilities, infrastructure and information technology, as well as support from the entire academic community, and work. same partnership. In order to achieve this, the right strategy to be taken by the Program Studi Manajemen FEB UNIKOM is a horizontal integration strategy with an emphasis on internal and external MB-KM cooperation and partnerships. This is because cooperation and strategic partnerships provide indispensable support for the success of the MB-KM program in the Program Studi Manajemen FEB UNIKOM. Abstract

Penurunan aktivitas fisik di kalangan anak-anak menjadi tantangan besar yang memengaruhi kesehatan dan perkembangan mereka. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan upaya pengembangan literasi fisik melalui program pengabdian masyarakat di SD Negeri Pilang, Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Program ini melibatkan berbagai metode, termasuk sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan penerapan media pembelajaran inovatif seperti permainan ular tangga berbasis literasi fisik. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kesadaran dan partisipasi siswa terhadap aktivitas fisik. Artikel ini memberikan wawasan penting tentang pendekatan terstruktur untuk mempromosikan gaya hidup sehat pada anak-anak.

Abstract

Lead is a toxic air pollutant that can damage human health, one of the areas with a high level of hazardous air population is Cimahi City, West Java, Indonesia. High lead levels can affect the decrease in erythrocytes, resulting in anemia. This study aims to determine the relationship between lead levels and the number of erythrocytes in the blood. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, with 18 participants. The blood samples obtained were examined for lead levels using an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) with a wavelength of 283nm. The number of erythrocytes was analysed using a Hematology Analyzer. The data collection technique used was primary data which was then processed using the Correlation Test. Of the 18 respondents, one respondent was found to have high lead levels, which were at 0.1413 mg/L with a dangerous level category. Meanwhile, the results of the number of erythrocytes showed that two respondents had several erythrocytes above normal with the highest value being 6,170,000 cells/mm3 with a normal value of 4,400,000-5,900,000 cells/mm3. The results of the statistical correlation test seen from the significance value obtained a result of 0.183, this value is greater than the significant value of 0.05 so it can be stated that there is no relationship between lead levels and the number of erythrocytes. After testing, it was concluded that there was no significant relationship between lead levels and the number of erythrocytes in the blood.

Abstract

Stroke is a serious, life-threatening medical condition in which poor blood flow to the brain leads to cell death. Patients who are suffering from stroke certainly have various kinds of problems, one of which is body weakness (paresis) limitations in grasping. The problem of the research is that there are still many cases of stroke patients with a decrease in grasping strength at Siti Aisyah Hospital, Lubuklinggau City. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Constraint Induced Movement Therapy on gripping strength in stroke patients.This study uses a type of quantitative research with a pre-experimental design approach with a one-group pre-test-post test design, namely research carried out for a population group of 60 patients and a sample of 10 patients. The bivariate statistical analysis method used in this study is the Paired T Test.The results of the study obtained the average value of grasping strength before Constraint Induced Movement Therapy, which was 9,150. The results obtained the average value of grasping strength after Constraint Induced Movement Therapy which was 12,950. The results of the bivariate analysis test with the T test showed that there was an effect of Constraint Induced Movement Therapy on grasping strength in stroke patients with a p value = 0,000.The results of the study suggest to provide Constraint Induced Movement Therapy exercises with longer application and are expected to be used to administer Constraint Induced Movement Therapy to stroke patients who experience grasping weakness.

Abstract

Padi yang sudah diolah menjadi beras merupakan makanan pokok penduduk Indonesia. Setelah padi dipanen, bulir padi atau gabah dipisahkan dari jerami. Cara memisahkan padi dari jerami yaitu dengan menggunakan alat bantuan pemisah padi atau perontok padi dari gabah padi. Proses pengeringan gabah merupakan salah satu faktor penentu kualitas beras. Hal ini dikarenakan gabah pada awalnya dalam keadaan basah dan harus dikeringkan terlebih dahulu agar kadar air gabah sesuai dengan standar yang disesuaikan yaitu 13-14% [SNI No. 4512-TAN-1998] untuk dapat diproses lebih lanjut dan di olah menjadi beras. Pada umumnya pengeringan gabah di Indonesia masih dilakukan dengan cara yang relatif sederhana atau pengeringan secara tradisional dengan cara dipanaskan pada terik matahari atau dijemur. Proses pengeringan sederhan ini umumnya membutuhkan waktu tiga hari untuk proses pengeringan. Untuk mengatasi masalah pada proses pengeringan secara manual, pada penelitian ini maka penulis akan merancang alat pengering otomatis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian buka tutup atap terhadap sesnsor cahaya diatas, pada saat intensitas cahaya dalam keadaan terang (Pagi atau siang), atap bak pengering membuka. Sedangkan pada saat intensitas cahaya dalam keadaan gelap (mendung atau malam) atap bak pengering menutup. Pada saat atap terbuka membutuhkan waktu 00:04,4 detik sedangkan pada saat menutup hanya membutuhkan waktu 00:01,2 detik. Proses pengujian pengeringan gabah di mulai dari jam 13:40 – 01:40 dan hasil suhu yang peroleh selam jam 22:40 adalah 50 ᵒC dan pada saat suhu sudah mencapai batas yang di tentukan maka lampu pijar mati dan kipas yang ada didalam ruang pengering berputar agar padi tetap kering dan suhu pada ruangan tidak lembab. Rice which has been processed into rice is the staple food of the Indonesian population. After the rice is harvested, the grain of rice or grain is separated from the straw. The way to separate rice from straw is by using a rice separator or rice threshing aid from rice grain. The grain grinding process is one of the determinants of rice quality. This is because the grain is initially wet and must be dried first so that the grain moisture content is in accordance with the adjusted standard, 13-14% [SNI No. 4512-TAN-1998] for further processing and processing into rice. In general the drying of grain in Indonesia is still carried out in a relatively simple or traditional way of drying by heating it in the hot sun or drying it. This simple drying process generally takes three days for the rolling process. To overcome the problem in the drying process manually, in this study the authors will design an automatic dryer. Based on the test results of opening the roof of the roof of the light above, when the intensity of the light is bright (morning or afternoon), the roof of the dryer opens. Whereas when the light intensity is dark (cloudy or night) the roof of the drying tub closes. When the roof is open it takes 00: 04.4 seconds while when closing it only takes 00: 01.2 seconds. The process of testing grain drying starts at 1:40 a.m. - 1:40 p.m. and the temperature results obtained at 10:40 p.m. are 50 ᵒC and when the temperature has reached the specified limit, the incandescent lamp dies and the fan inside the drying chamber rotates so that the rice stays dry and the temperature in the room is not moist.

Abstract

Background: One of the health problems that often occurs in children under 3 years of age is underweight. The prevalence of underweight in Purwakarta Regency is 14.1%. One of the efforts to overcome this underweight problem is through the Supplementary Feeding Programme (PMT). Catfish can be an option of food ingredients for PMT because it is high in protein and omega-3. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of catfish consumption as an alternative to supplementary feeding (PMT) for children under 3 years of age.Methods: This research design used a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control-group before-after design approach. The sample size was 30 children for each intervention and control group. Statistical analysis used univariate, bivariate using paired T-test and Independent T-test, effectiveness using N-Gain test, and multivariate multiple logistic regression test.  Results: The results of the study using a paired T-test showed that there was a difference in the increase in body weight before and after administration of catfish PMT in the intervention and control groups (p-value = 0.001). The independent t-test results showed no significant difference in body weight after administration of catfish PMT in the intervention and control groups (p-value = 0.182). The results of the N-Gain test showed that the intervention group had an average of 7.55% and the control group had an average of 6.99%, which means that the provision of catfish PMT on weight gain is ineffective in the intervention and control groups.
