Abstract

This study explores the use of remote sensing techniques to assess landslide severity in Ngadas Village, a mountainous area prone to landslides due to its steep topography. Located in Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency, Ngadas Village serves a strategic role as a gateway to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS). Its significance in tourism and agriculture underscores the importance of mitigating landslide risks that could disrupt accessibility and local livelihoods. By integrating remote sensing data such as Digital Elevation Models (DEM), satellite imagery, rainfall patterns, soil types, and geological characteristics, this study employs weighted overlay analysis to produce a comprehensive landslide vulnerability map. The findings reveal that landslide vulnerability in the Ngadas region varies but is predominantly moderate to low. This is largely due to the rainfall parameter, which holds the highest weight (30%), making it the dominant influencing factor. In years of high rainfall, landslide vulnerability in Ngadas is expected to increase significantly. Conversely, soil type contributes minimally to the vulnerability assessment, as the region’s soil has inherently loose properties. This spatial analysis provides valuable insights for disaster mitigation planning, highlighting the need for adaptive land management strategies to enhance resilience and sustainability in the area.

Abstract

Aspects of education are able to make people have a broad view of the world of politics, the difference between people with high and low education can be seen from their attitudes and behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of education level on community political participation in the 2020 regional head election in Serangan Village. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method. The data analysis technique used is the research instrument test, classical assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient test, t hypothesis test, and coefficient of determination test. Based on the results of the research and discussion carried out, it can be concluded that the level of education has a positive and significant relationship with community political participation, for the category of relationship is classified in a weak relationship with a magnitude of 6.5%. For 93.5% influenced by other variables not examined by the researcher.

Abstract

Literasi digital tersebar luas dan sering mengatasi masalah utama. Langkah pertama dalam mendidik siswa tentang literasi digital adalah mengembangkan keterampilan membaca, membaca konten dengan cermat, dan kemudian menggunakan literasi digital untuk memahami konten. Melalui pelatihan literasi digital, proyek pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital para remaja khususnya di SMKN 1 Padangpanjang. Perumusan bentuk kegiatan, tahapan kegiatan, dan evaluasi merupakan tiga tahapan yang menjadi metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman anggota tentang pendidikan lanjutan sangat tinggi dan mereka memiliki kesadaran tentang risiko melibatkan web dan hiburan virtual seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh konsekuensi dari jajak pendapat 83,3% terkait dengan substansi negatif pada Web. Namun hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta hanya menggunakan internet untuk berkomunikasi, bermain game, dan menggunakan media sosial, sehingga belum memahami literasi digital terkait pemanfaatan internet untuk ilmu pengetahuan.

Abstract

This research tries to describe how prevention of cyber pornograph and online prostitution using social media facilities in Criminal Law in Indonesia and how law enforcement is done by City Police Departement of Riau Kepulauan about criminal cyber pornograph and online prostitution using social media. The type of research on this thesis is empirical juridical research that is the way or procedure used to solve the research problem by researching the secondary data first to then examine the primary data in the field. The author performs the necessary data collection techniques through Library Research and Field Research. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis. Cyber pornograph and online prostitution using social media in the Criminal Law in Batam still lacks in relation to its Section formula. Law enforcement conducted by City Police Departement of Riau Kepulauanon the cyber pornograph and online prostitution using social media has not been effective resulting in many similar crimes still encountered.

Abstract

Disposal of a baby whose actions are inhumane, because they are victims of innocent children and because children are also the next generation of the nation. From this background the author is interested in lifting the title. The purpose of this paper is to know criminal liability in criminal acts of baby disposal in terms of the Law of Child Protection in accordance with Positive Criminal Law in Indonesia and what is the causal factor and the countermeasures related to crime of disposal crime. The method used by juridical empirical authors, while the data analysis method used is qualitative descriptive. From the results obtained, the Accountability of Baby Disposal Crimes is in accordance with Law Number 17 of 2016 Special Law concerning child protection, a factor often occurs because of promiscuity, young age, the economic response to the application of criminal witnesses, conclusions. Efficient, crime Crime of baby disposal must be prevented because it has a big influence on the future of the generation, prevention is not only recommended for the government which is the most important for the community itself.

Abstract

That is why in everyday life can catch various comments about a crime event that is different from one another. The research method used in this study is normative. The result of this research is that in this research the reasoning mediation that can be done is the complaint offense. Crimes that can be resolved by reasoning mediation are first a criminal offense or an offense such as the Complaints Against Humiliation or Defamation (Chapter XVI of the Criminal Code), a complaint regarding theft, extortion and threatening and embezzlement, a complaint about decency crime namely adultery. Second, Simple Delicacy (eencoudige delic) for example in Article 372 of the Criminal Code. The Third Criminal Act Has a Penal Penalty as the Threat of Criminal Offenders and Offenders Has Paid the Penalty. The fourth is Crime committed by Children. in the implementation of the Republic of Indonesia Police Investigator to provide training to investigators specifically dealing with child criminal cases and changing the retributive paradigm of the direction of the restoactive justice paradigm specifically in handling child criminal cases

Abstract

Media press are vulnerable to defamation cases, as happened in decision No.36/Pid.B/2015/PN.Lrt. From this decision a research will be conducted on how the criminal responsibility of the online press media bridges the occurrence of criminal acts of defamation and to find out how the judge judges the basis for giving a verdict. Normative Legal Research Methods used. The results of the research that the press must be responsible for the news published because in the news, there are often cases of defamation which result in criminal acts and results and in the judgment of judges in determining actions taken by public prosecutors based on article 310 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code Jo Article 84 Paragraph (2) Law No.8 of 1981, Article 310 Paragraph (2) of Criminal Code Article 84 Paragraph (2) of Law No.8 of 1981, Article 311 Paragraph (1) of Criminal Code Article Jo Paragraph (2) of Law No. 8 of 1981. From research on the pattern of relations that must be held as a handle between the press, the public, and the government is a free and responsible press, and in making decisions on all aspects in it, accuracy, law, reasoning, mastery of material and formal problems.

Abstract

Corruption is the use of power for personal gain. The results of this study are the Batam District Attorney in eradicating criminal acts of corruption is very important in terms of eradicating criminal acts of corruption in terms of receiving and examining case files investigations conducted by investigators or auxiliary investigators Conduct preprosecution if there is a deficiency in the investigation phase with regard as which provisions are contained in Article 110 paragraph (3) and in paragraph (4).of detention, carry out detention or further detention and can also change the status of detainees after the case is delegated by the investigator, Make an indictment, Delegate the case to the court, Notify the defendant of the day's provisions and when the case is tried and accompanied by a summons, whether it is a letter to the defendant or to the witness, to get a prescribed hearing, prosecute, the prosecutor can also close the case in the public interest, hold other matters within the scope of the public prosecutor's duties according to the provisions the law, Carrying out the determination of judges and coordinating with institutions in the eradication of criminal acts of corruption.

Abstract

Background: One of the health problems that often occurs in children under 3 years of age is underweight. The prevalence of underweight in Purwakarta Regency is 14.1%. One of the efforts to overcome this underweight problem is through the Supplementary Feeding Programme (PMT). Catfish can be an option of food ingredients for PMT because it is high in protein and omega-3. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of catfish consumption as an alternative to supplementary feeding (PMT) for children under 3 years of age.Methods: This research design used a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control-group before-after design approach. The sample size was 30 children for each intervention and control group. Statistical analysis used univariate, bivariate using paired T-test and Independent T-test, effectiveness using N-Gain test, and multivariate multiple logistic regression test.  Results: The results of the study using a paired T-test showed that there was a difference in the increase in body weight before and after administration of catfish PMT in the intervention and control groups (p-value = 0.001). The independent t-test results showed no significant difference in body weight after administration of catfish PMT in the intervention and control groups (p-value = 0.182). The results of the N-Gain test showed that the intervention group had an average of 7.55% and the control group had an average of 6.99%, which means that the provision of catfish PMT on weight gain is ineffective in the intervention and control groups.
