Abstract

Abstract- Extracurricular program is a learning process in which performed outside of school. The study attempts to explore the components of context, input, process and product of extracurricular program at Al-Khoir Islamic boarding school. In this study, the evaluation model used by Stufflebeam namely the CIPP (context, input, process, product) evaluation model. This study used mixed method; qualitative and quantitative. interviewing was carried out with the teacher (qualitatively) while scoring students’ test result (quantitatively). The findings showed that the components of context, input, process, product and results of extracurricular program at Al-Khoir Islamic boarding school were categorized as good. Therefore, Al-Khoir boarding school could maintain the extracurricular program and continue to improve any perceived shortcomings after evaluating the program. Thus, in this study, students are suggested to be more active and serious in extracurricular programs because it is very useful for them to add their knowledge and skills. It is suggested to make the improvements to each component of the context, input, process and product and to be more active and innovative in designing curriculum and planning before doing the extracurricular programs. Abstract

4C (Collaboration, Communication, Creativity and Critical Thinking) skill-based Problem Based Instruction (PBI) is student-centered learning so that it can do problem solving activities and make students think more critically, present creative ideas and communicate with the lesson more broadly. The learning model is a planning guide in determining the set of lessons in the classroom. Learning on students is still centered on the teacher or conventional so it does not provide opportunities for students to express ideas as if students think in communication, collaboration, creative and critical thinking. This study aims to determine the effect of the 4C Skill-based Problem Based Instruction learning model on electronic learning outcomes. The 4C skill-based PBI learning model uses a quasy type of experimental research. In this study the effect of the treatment (treatment) was analyzed by different tests, namely the group received different treatment, namely the experimental group PBI learning based on 4C skills and the control group with conventional learning (two groups). From the results of the study showed an increase in the average value of learning outcomes of the experimental class was higher than the increase in the average value of the control class. It can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who use the 4C-based problem based instruction learning model are better than students who use conventional learning.

Abstract

In the learning process Basic Electricity and Electronics material, students are constrained in understanding the subject matter, because it uses formulas that are difficult to understand without adequate supporting learning media. Besides the learning time Basic Electricity and Electronics material which is only available 4 hours per week, so that not all materials can be delivered optimally to students. Therefore learning needs to be supported by suitable and adequate media. The purpose of this research is to produce a learning media based on mobile learning that is valid, practical and effective for Basic Electricity and Electronics subjects. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used follows the Borg & Gall model which is arranged in several research steps. The instrument used in the form of a validation questionnaire was given to material experts and media experts. Questionnaire to measure practicality is given to students and teachers of the subject matter. To measure the effectiveness of the Quasi experiment research design used by comparing student learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. The results showed that the learning media based on mobile learning was declared valid, practical and effective for use in the Basic Electricity and Electronics subjects.

Abstract

Universities are designed to prepare graduates who are ready to enter the workforce and are able to develop a professional attitude. Educational institutions such as the University need a form of decisions in determining the right concentration for students, so that the learning process can be achieved well. The decision is very influential on the process of handling the choice of alternative concentration, choosing an appropriate concentration of interest will also have an impact on the research focus for the final assignment of students. This research develops student concentration selection system in Electrical. Currently the concentration determination system is based only on academic assessment alone, regardless of student interest, so that it can impact on student learning outcomes. The system was developed by combining academic judgment and interest inventory with three criteria, ie, interest tests using interest inventory, prerequisite concentration course grades, and GPA. The system is built using an intelligent system model that is Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM), which helps the Department in the selection process and helps the process of career guidance on students. With this selection system, the Department can be provide the most suitable concentration decisions with interest in student.

Abstract

This media designed to increase motivation and creativity of students so that students can understand the overall material provided in the subject operation system. This research used the development metode was 4D (Four D), while the 4D development procedure those were: define, design, develop, and Disseminate. Data type was primary data where the data provided by the media experts, lecturers and students. Data analysis technique used was descriptive data analysis technique those were describe the validity, practicality and effectiveness of using support learning media. Results obtained from this development research as follows; (1) The validity of support learning media expressed very valid on the media design with a value of validity was 0.828, while the materi of media was valid for a value was 0.703, (2) the practicalities of support learning media based the response of teachers after going through practical trials with a total value was 84.66%, while the practicalities of support learning media based on student response after going through the otherwise very practical trials with a total value of 87.96%.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that in computer system learning, there is no special media for online learning. During the learning process using teaching materials in the form of power points. The teacher as a facilitator must be able to provide facilities that support teaching and learning, this is not in accordance with existing conditions in the field, the teacher does use information and communication technology-based media, but the use of power point media is still not optimal, there is no video, simulation and evaluation . In addition, during this pandemic situation, the learning process is less effective, because the face-to-face learning process is divided into 2 shifts. In this condition, online-based learning media is demanded. This has an impact on the grade X computer value system of TKJ majors at SMKN 1 Painan. The method used in this research is research and development (R&D). The development model used is the 4-D model development. The 4-D development model consists of 4 stages, namely Definition, Design, Development and Deployment. The results showed that: (1) this research has produced a website-based learning module product for computer system subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Painan using a domain, namely https://emodulsiskom.com/smkn1painan/ which can be accessed by teachers and students. with a computer, laptop, or smart phone connected to the internet via a web browser whenever and wherever they are. (2) The E-Module on the subject of Computer Systems that was developed is valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for career guidance services that cannot be implemented optimally because the media for the implementation of Career Guidance is not yet available. In addition, students are also less interested in carrying out career guidance so that the provision of motivation and career information to students has not been carried out properly. Career Guidance Services are needed by students who are currently unstable teenagers in determining their own careers. So that BK teachers need interesting and flexible media in their use to be used during the Career Guidance service process. The purpose of this research is to develop android-based media to assist the implementation of Career Guidance to make it more practical, effective and interesting, thereby increasing students' understanding and strengthening in choosing careers independently. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) 4D model. The research was carried out at SMKN 1 Koto Besar with the research subject of class XI Kimia Industri, totaling 40 students. Data collection instruments consist of observations, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis technique for validity test uses Aikens's V formula, practicality test uses descriptive statistics, and effectiveness test uses level categorization. The results showed that the android-based career guidance media was practical and effective. This can be seen from the practicality test given to teachers and students with the results "Very Practical", 90.67% of student responses and 86.08% of teacher responses. Furthermore, the effectiveness test given to students showed an increase in students' understanding and stability in choosing a career independently after using career guidance media.

Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive multimedia-based learning media that can improve student understanding of the material DC-DC converters and AC-AC converter. The methods used to research and development with the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) model. The subject of the study was a student of electrical engineering education. Data-collecting instruments in the form of a questionnaire. Analytical techniques descriptive data to describe the validity, practicalities, and effectiveness of interactive multimedia-based learning media. The results of this study indicate that interactive multimedia-based learning media on subjects of electronics material power DC-DC converter and AC-AC converter is valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Program ketahanan pangan di Kota Bandung saat ini dihadapkan pada semakin berkurangnya ketersediaan lahan petanian akibat tingginya laju konversi lahan ke non pertanian akibat pembangunan permukiman dan industri. Walaupun konsep pertanian kota mensyaratkan praktek berbasis teknologi, namun ketersediaan lahan juga tetap tidak bisa diabaikan keberadaannya. Tulisan ini mencoba untuk mengkaji potensi lahan pertanian, yaitu lahan yang sesuai peruntukannya bagi komoditas tanaman pangan di Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis deskiptif melalui prosedur penilaian evaluasi kesesuaian lahan dengan aplikasi pemetaan yaitu Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa dibandingkan dengan kota-kota di Jawa Barat, luas lahan pertanian Kota Bandung masih cukup luas, namun laju konversi cukup tinggi mencapai 577.2 Ha per tahun selama periode Tahun 2010-2015. Potensi lahan yang sesuai peruntukannya untuk sawah dengan kategori S1 (sangat sesuai) mencapai 804.18 Ha, sedangkan untuk tanaman pangan (ubi jalar, ubi kayu, jagung, kacang tanah) termasuk kelas kesesuaian lahan S2 (sesuai) dan S3 (sesuai maginal) masing-masing seluas 37 Ha dan 3.95 Ha. Dengan demikian, ketersediaan lahan potensial untuk pertanian di Kota Bandung tidak mencukupi untuk menyokong ketahanan pangan. Hal ini terbukti hingga saat ini kebutuhan pangan masyarakat Kota Bandung 80% tergantung pasokan dari luar Kota Bandung.Kata Kunci: Ketahanan Pangan, Pertanian Kota, Kesesuaian Lahan, Ketersediaan Lahan

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah permintaan Jagung didominasi oleh permintaan dari sektor industri pakan ternak. Hal ini disebabkan semakin berkembangnya sektor industri ini.Luas panen Jagung pada periode 2005 – 2015 mengalami perlambatan yaitu dengan rata – rata pertumbuhan sekitar 1,76%. Hal ini menunjukkan semakin terbatasnya lahan untuk perluasan jagung. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari Pusat Data dan informasi Pertanian kementerian Pertanian RI menyebutkan bahwa penurunan luas panen terendah terjadi pada tahun 2006 yaitu sebesar 7,72% dan tahun 2011 sebesar 6,46% dan peningkatan luas panen tertinggi terjadi pada tahun 2008 yaitu sebesar 10,24%. Luas panen jagung pada tahun 2012 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 2,40% dibandingkan tahun 2011, sedangkan pada tahun 2013 luas panen jagung menurun sebesar 3,44% dan pada tahun 2014 meningkat sebesar 0,41%. Oleh karena itu perlu dipikirkan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untukmeningkatkan produksi jagung. Berdasarkan uraian terebut maka fokus penelitian ini adalah merancang sebuah model produksi jagung dengan pendekatan sistem dinamis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi sistem produksi Jagung di Indonesia, serta memodelkannya dalam sebuah model dinamis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder dan diolah dengan menggunakan software vensim. Berdasarkan Hasil penelitian, sub sistem dibagi kedalam 7 subsistem, yaitu sub sistem produksi, permintaan, industri hilir, kebijakan pemerintah,  modal, tenaga kerja, dan kelembagaan petani. Hasil perumusan masalah dalam tahapan proses pengembangan sistem, diperoleh rumusan masalah utama yaitu beupa ”bagaimana upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk dapat meningkatkan produksi jagung Nasional?”. Hasil perumusan masalah ini kemudian dianalisis sistem produksinya dan dimodelkan kedalam diagram kausalitas, stock flow diagram, dan model matematika. Model yang dihasilkan, menunjukkan bahwa tingkat produksi dipengaruhi oleh produktifitas dan luas lahan panen; Gap kekurangan produksi merupakan permintaan dikurangi dengan tingkat produksi; Penambahan kapasitas produksi diperoleh melalui permintaan dikurangi dengan tingkat produksi; Penambahan Kapasistas produksi lahan Potensial diperoleh melalui produktifitas dikali dengan luas lahan potensial; Luas Penambahan Lahan dapat diprediksi melalui Gap kekurangan dibagi produktifitas.Kata kunci: Model dinamis, sistem produksi jagung
