Abstract

Abstract—Indonesia is an archipelago that has a wide geographical area and a very diverse culture. The cultural diversity can be seen physically through the clothes and houses that are owned by each region. Almost every province in Indonesia has clothing and custom homes, respectively. But along with the times, people kususnya young generation drift of globalization and customs began to forget the legacy of his ancestors. Culture in Indonesia is very diverse areas ranging from customs, language and culture. Then this can lead to problems such as the many cultures that received less attention from the government so as claimed by neighboring countries as a culture. It is indeed very disappointing because as the next generation should maintain and sustain the cultural heritage of the ancestors of Indonesia. If this is continually happening then gradually Indonesia will lose our identity and culture of the next generation will forget his own people. Abstract

This study aims to see the implementation, opportunities, and challenges of the Spice Route program in Aceh Province as a world cultural heritage with several indicators, namely Bureaucratic Structure, Resources, Disposition, Communication, Program Content, and Context. A qualitative method with a case study approach and NVivo 12 Plus as a supporter of the analysis. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of the Spice Route program in Aceh Province has not been fully running well, there are many weaknesses in terms of the bureaucratic structure and budgetary resources as well as human resources, commitments are still minimal, and do not meet standards. Furthermore, in terms of activities, it was found that there were still many activities that were ceremonial in nature and did not lead to physical activities, such as the construction of a spice botanical garden as a center for agro-tourism and agro-industry of Aceh spices. In terms of opportunities, it has excellent potential to be used as a world cultural heritage with historical evidence of its herbs and its location as a gateway to the Straits of Malacca and the Indian Ocean for international trade routes. In terms of challenges, there is no good cooperation between agencies, both vertical agencies and the Aceh government and the Aceh government and Regency / City Government.

Abstract

Several studies on the innovation of Indonesian public services only provide general and less specific descriptions of inclusive public services based on local wisdom. This study aims to find innovative models of local wisdom-based public services in Indonesia. This study is a descriptive-exploratory study, and the research method is an archival one emphasizing secondary data use. The findings revealed that  (1) Local government dominated policy innovation proposals based on local wisdom compared to the central government because of the proximity aspect of service distance to objects, so the type of service is specific. 2) Product-oriented service types dominated service innovation due to specific, urgent, and critical service needs that must be resolved immediately. 3) Innovation with the outcome of problem-solving was very dominant because it is related to critical service issues that require solving problems by minimizing existing local cultural clashes. 4) The sectors of education, community empowerment, food security, environmental preservation, and the health sector almost evenly influenced service policy innovations based on local wisdom, because it is a wedge between direct contact with basic community services and the culture adopted by local communities. 5) Innovator originating from Java and Outside Java had competed quite dynamically over the last four years, because Outside Java excelled in the quantity of both organizations and local communities, while Java excelled in its human resources and infrastructure's quality.

Abstract

This study explores the adoption of the Pallapanan style of dangdut music by musicians and music communities in Selo, Boyolali District, Central Java. Originating from the "New Pallapa" music group in East Java, the Pallapanan style is characterized by unique playing patterns, particularly in rhythm keyboards, ketipung drums, and bass instruments, which distinguish it from other dangdut music styles. This research investigates the distribution of the Pallapanan style, forms of its adoption, and the impacts on the adaptive behavior of Selo’s musicians and dangdut music community. The study employs a qualitative approach, drawing on Ghufron and Rini's psychological adaptation theory, which frames adaptation as self-regulated behavior in response to environmental challenges or threats to well-being. Data were collected through interviews, field observations, and analysis of online media content showcasing "New Pallapa" performances. Findings reveal that internet media, particularly recorded videos of "New Pallapa" performances, is the primary driver of the Pallapanan style's spread in Selo. The adoption process involves imitating playing patterns, instrumental techniques, and vocal styles. This adaptation has led to skill development among musicians, the creation of job opportunities, and shifts in audience behavior, highlighting the transformative impact of this stylistic adoption on the local dangdut scene. This study contributes to the understanding of musical adaptation and cultural diffusion in the context of regional music trends, providing insights into the interplay between digital media, community practices, and artistic evolution in traditional music genres.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the level of financial literacy in East Belitung, to explore the challenges and constraints faced in the application of financial literacy, and to reveal the efforts to face challenges and constraints in the application of financial literacy. The research method used was ethnography with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques of this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. In-depth interviews were conducted with village heads and the people of East Belitung. This study applied data reduction, data display, and verification as the data analysis steps. The results of this study indicated that the high income of people who work as tin miners triggered some people to have a consumptive lifestyle. The consumptive lifestyle is one aspect that shows that the level of financial literacy was still low and generated problems with family money management. The challenges and constraints in the application of financial literacy in East Belitung were consumptive lifestyles or habits that were inherent in the culture in society. Hence, it took time and effort to reduce these consumptive habits.
