Abstract

The dominant species of coral depends on environmental conditions or habitat where corals were alive.According to coral life growth, corals have two classification, Acropora and non-Acropora, with different types of morphology branching, massive, encrusting, foliose,  tabulate, submassive, mushroom and   digitate. Lifeform was influence of some nature factor, one of this factor is depth. The aims of this research were to find and examine the influence of depth on coral morphology, to find abundance of coral, and to find morphology of corals at Pulau Ce mara Kecil, Taman Nasional Karimunjawa. The research  was conducted in August  until December 2009, in Cemara Kecil Island, Karimunjawa National Park. The research method used was eksplanatif method, sampling method using the line transect method along 20 m. The data gathered were an abundance of corals, reef morphology, coral diversity, and physical-chemical parameters. Research data  processed by non-parametric test 2 Independent Samples SPSS 16.  The results of this research showed that were not significant difference between corals morphology in depth of 3 m and 10 m.There were 10 species of coral, Acropora Digitate and Acropora Branching species most commonly found at a depth of 3 m, at depth of 10 m most commonly found was submassive coral species. The percentage of live coral abundance range between 52.5% - 79.5%, was generally grouping into well categories until very well. Abstract

The objective of this article is to elucidate the significance of music in complementing the choreography of the innovative Pencak Silat dance form known as Rancak Takasima. In the realm of dance performance, music plays a pivotal role as an accompaniment. While dance accompaniment music can exist independently, the reciprocal is not true – dance cannot be fully actualized without the support of accompanying music. Essentially, dance and music are inseparable counterparts, mutually enhancing and interdependent, akin to the interconnected sides of a coin. In the crafting of a dance performance, the presence of dance accompaniment, specifically in the form of musical compositions, serves as a crucial catalyst. This concept is referred to as external music, encompassing instruments like percussion, strings, and wind instruments employed as accompaniment in dance. In contrast, internal music entails sounds not generated by instrumental music but rather emanating from the dancer or performer, such as vocals, rhythmic footwork, finger snaps, chest and thigh percussion, hand claps, elbow taps, and the use of galembong (a patting technique on wide-legged pants). This research used a qualitative method with a dance ethnographic approach model. This technique research collected data through diverse methods such as observation, demonstration, interviews, and documentation during creating the creative process of choreographing the new idiom of Rancak Takasima. The development of dance accompaniment music and choreography unfolds gradually, originating from initially abstract ideas and taking visual form through Seni Pencak movements and the musicality crafted by the internal body's dancers themselves and using sound of  'serut bambu' props. The research outcomes showcase the Seni Pencak dance accompaniment music model as a valuable contribution to the evolution of Pencak Silat Nusantara dance. This particular dance accompaniment music model integrates seamlessly into the new idiom's choreography, featuring the distinctive ‘serut bambu’ property that generates the accompanying dance music. This research result conducted under Penelitian Terapan Jalur Hilirisasi (PTJH) scheme. For those interested in learning more, the dance accompaniment music and Seni Pencak choreography of Rancak Takasima can be easily accessed through the website https://www.dayaversapasua.tech.

Abstract

The Pomalaa mangrove ecosystem in Southeast Sulawesi primarily consists of the gastropods Faunus ater and Terebralia sulcata. The Pomalaa District is the largest nickel mining area in the region, and mining activities have significantly impacted the ecosystem by introducing overburdened sediment waste, visibly affecting the substrate, roots, and stems of mangroves. This research was conducted from June to September 2023 in the mangrove ecosystem of the Pomalaa District. This study examined the density differences of gastropods F. ater and T. sulcata in areas impacted by nickel mining overburden compared to minimally disturbed sites in the Pomalaa mangrove ecosystem, Southeast Sulawesi. Sampling was conducted using purposive and simple random sampling techniques. Gastropod samples were obtained (counted), analyzed for density, and associated with mangrove density in the sampled area. The results showed that the highest densities of F. ater and T. sulcata were found in areas not affected by nickel mining overburden (reference sites) with ranges of 50-153 ind./m2 and 24-57 ind./m2, respectively. In contrast, in the areas affected by overburden, the population densities of the two types of gastropods ranged from 0-11 ind./m2 for T. sulcata and to 0-21 ind./m2 for F. ater) despite having high mangrove densities in several places. The distribution pattern of these two species was in the clumped category. This study found a significant decrease in the density of two typical mangrove slug species in overburden-affected areas compared to the reference sites. Abstract

Stunting is a condition where a child's growth is inhibited and they do not achieve their optimal physical and cognitive growth potential. Children who experience stunting can be detected from the age of 0-5 years. The mother's physical readiness during pregnancy through routine Antenatal care, taking iron tablets at least 90 tablets during pregnancy, carrying out Early Initiation of Breastfeeding after giving birth and providing exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months, the mother's psychological condition and family support can play a role in preventing stunting. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of family support for pregnant women as an effort to prevent stunting. The research was conducted in Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan in 2024. This type of research is qualitative research with an in-depth interview method. The research sample was taken using the multistage random sampling method adjusted to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. The research participants were 5 mothers who had children aged 0-2 years with an age range of 20-35 years and had met the research inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of data processing were analyzed to assess the role of family support for mothers during pregnancy as an effort to prevent stunting. The results of the study showed that all participants (100%) knew about stunting in children and received family support during pregnancy. The form of family support varies for each mother, such as accompanying the mother during pregnancy check-ups and childbirth, providing care and nutrition during pregnancy and childbirth, preparing transportation plans to health facilities to avoid delays in handling childbirth. The existence of family support for mothers shows that mothers can go through their pregnancies comfortably, have their nutritional needs met and receive regular pregnancy check-ups so that their pregnancies are always healthy and free from stunting. Family support given to pregnant women during pregnancy has a significant influence in preventing stunting in children. Family support for pregnant women is expected to be continued until the child is born and care during growth and development as well as the importance of education from health workers in health services
