Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pembentukan karakter siswa melalui pembelajaran angklung dari perspektif etika dan estetika. Pendidikan karakter menjadi kebutuhan mendesak dalam menghadapi krisis moral di kalangan pelajar. Dengan metode studi literatur, artikel ini mengkaji berbagai penelitian terkait pembelajaran angklung dan potensinya dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter seperti kerja sama, tanggung jawab, toleransi, kedisiplinan, dan cinta tanah air. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran angklung, baik dalam kegiatan intrakurikuler maupun ekstrakurikuler, efektif membangun karakter siswa melalui pendekatan seni yang integratif. Selain meningkatkan keterampilan musikal, proses pembelajaran angklung juga memperkuat nilai-nilai moral, budaya, dan sosial. Penulis menyoroti pentingnya mengadopsi pendekatan berbasis kearifan lokal, seperti filosofi pendidikan Ki Hajar Dewantara, dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter siswa yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran angklung tidak hanya menjadi media seni, tetapi juga sarana strategis untuk membangun generasi muda yang beretika, berkarakter, dan memiliki kebanggaan terhadap budaya bangsa.

Abstract

This research explores the use of the ithnab style in the stylistic analysis of the Quran, focusing on sentence structure. Stylistic analysis methods are employed to identify and analyze the repetition of words or phrases in the Quranic text. The main objective of this study is to uncover how the ithnab style is used to reinforce meaning and messages in this sacred text. The results of the analysis indicate that the ithnab style is employed in various forms in the Quran, including the repetition of words, phrases, or concepts. This repetition aims to provide strong emphasis on the message or meaning being conveyed. Through structured repetition, Quranic verses are able to deepen understanding and evoke emotional effects on readers or listeners. Overall, this research provides insights into the significance of the ithnab style in shaping the structure and meaning of the Quran. The implications of this study go beyond language analysis and also impact spiritual and aesthetic understanding in Islam. The use of the ithnab style helps unearth deeper meanings of divine messages in the Quran.

Abstract

This research aims to identify factors of language difficulties among Arabic-speaking students at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta from Yemen in learning Indonesian. The research method used is qualitative research with interviews as the data collection technique. The process involves open-ended questions that allow respondents to explain their views in detail, while the researcher takes notes, analyzing the data collected. The results of this research are that there are two factors of difficulty in speaking Indonesian among Arabic speakers from Yemen, students at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, namely internal factors such as feeling foreign to Indonesian, significant differences in structure and vocabulary with Arabic, and a lack of guidance in the learning process. And the second is external factors such as the use of regional languages ​​by the surrounding environment which makes understanding and communication difficult.

Abstract

Mahasiswa baru seringkali menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam proses adaptasi dengan lingkungan kampus, seperti tekanan akademis, dinamika pergaulan yang baru, serta tuntutan kemandirian yang tinggi, tekanan terhadap lingkungan yang berbeda dengan sekolah. Kondisi ini menuntut kematangan emosi yang lebih baik untuk mengelola stres dan menjaga kesehatan mental. Stoicism, sebuah prinsip yang berfokus pada penerimaan terhadap kenyataan dan pengendalian diri, diyakini sebagai pendekatan yang berguna dalam membantu mahasiswa baru menghadapi tekanan hidup di kampus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran Stoicism dalam mengembangkan kematangan emosi mahasiswa baru di UPI Kampus Cibiru. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memengaruhi emotional maturity mahasiwa baru dalam menghadapi lingkungan kampus. Selain itu juga, terdapat dua faktor yang memengaruhi prinsip stoikisme terhadap kematangan emosional mahasiwa baru yaitu faktor internal yang terdiri dari aspek kepribadian, kematangan emosional, pengalaman hidup, nilai pribadi, dan kesadaran diri. Serta faktor eksternal yang terdiri dari aspek dukungan sosial, lingkungan, dan budaya atau norma sosial. Kedua faktor tersebut dapat berpengaruh pada kematangan emosional seseorang dalam menghadapi berbagai tekanan yang dialaminya.

Abstract

This study aims to identify, analyze, and synthesize relevant findings in previous studies to build a strong context for further investigation. The method used is a library study to analyze the feminist approach based on Sara Mills' theory, focusing on Subject Position Analysis, Gender Representation in Discourse, Power Relations, and Social and Historical Context. The main character, Re, embodies various subject positions, variously depicted as a victim and a strong figure facing patriarchal domination. The narrative critiques the patriarchal social structure, emphasizing gender inequality that persists across generations. Re's complex character reflects both vulnerability and strength, depicting the tension between her profession as a sex worker and her moral values ​​as a mother. The novel further explores the dynamics of power, particularly through characters such as Mami Lani, who exemplifies the domination of women in a patriarchal system, highlighting the interconnected nature of gender, power, and societal expectations. As such, the narrative serves as a critical examination of sexuality and social injustice.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran lanskap linguistik bahasa Arab di lingkungan sekolah Qurrota A’yun di Kabupaten Bekasi, dalam mendukung pembelajaran bahasa Arab serta pencapaian target Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4, khususnya pada aspek literasi. Dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus, data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, angket, dan dokumentasi visual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lanskap linguistik berbahasa Arab tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai elemen dekoratif, tetapi juga sebagai alat edukatif yang efektif. Lanskap ini membantu siswa meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan memahami bahasa Arab, serta mencerminkan identitas sekolah sebagai institusi berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Selain itu, keberadaan lanskap linguistik memotivasi siswa untuk belajar bahasa Arab dengan lebih percaya diri. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini juga mengungkap bahwa metode pengajaran tambahan diperlukan untuk memperkuat keterampilan menulis siswa. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan baru tentang integrasi elemen bahasa dalam pendidikan dan relevansinya terhadap kebijakan global seperti SDGs, yang diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan multibahasa di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan bahasa gender, yakni danseigo (bahasa laki-laki) dan joseigo (bahasa perempuan), dalam anime Kimi no Na wa serta kaitannya dengan budaya patriarki di Jepang. Anime ini merefleksikan peran gender tradisional melalui dialog karakter utama, Taki dan Mitsuha, yang menggunakan danseigo dan joseigo sesuai dengan norma-norma sosial di Jepang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis isi, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur dan analisis dialog karakter dalam anime. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Taki, melalui penggunaan danseigo, merepresentasikan maskulinitas yang kuat dan peran laki-laki dalam masyarakat patriarki. Sementara itu, Mitsuha, melalui penggunaan joseigo, mencerminkan kelembutan dan kepatuhan yang diasosiasikan dengan peran feminin. Pertukaran tubuh antara kedua karakter mengungkapkan ketidaknyamanan yang muncul ketika mereka harus menggunakan bahasa yang tidak sesuai dengan gender biologis mereka, menunjukkan betapa kaku norma gender yang dipengaruhi oleh patriarki. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Kimi no Na wa memperlihatkan bagaimana patriarki membentuk ekspektasi sosial mengenai peran gender dan penggunaan bahasa. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah memperluas kajian pada berbagai anime lain serta melakukan studi komparatif lintas budaya guna mendapatkan pemahaman lebih dalam mengenai pengaruh patriarki dalam media populer.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic had brought significant impacts on many aspects of life, including in the education sector in which learning activities have to be held online. In one hand, there are numerous benefits of online learning, but it also raises drawbacks on the other hand. One of the flaws is the lack of character values that teachers can instill through distance learning. Thus, the purpose of this research is to address the shortcomings of online learning by focusing on four issues: the types of character values internalized to students, the strategies used by teachers to internalize values, the evaluation of value internalization activities, and the obstacles faced by teachers when cultivating character values. The researcher employs a descriptive narrative inquiry method to investigate these four issues. In-depth interviews are conducted with 17 outstanding teachers from West Java Province. Data analysis reveals that teachers apply 30 strategies to internalize 17 values based on 15 principles. Internalization materials, methods, and principles are typically drawn from religion, philosophy, and culture. Teachers face challenges in internalizing values, particularly in the terms of network connection, finances, tool reliability, and lack of communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective self-assessment instrument based on Qur'anic teachings to measure and internalize religious character values. The instrument was designed to evaluate five main aspects: faith, piety, sincerity, righteous deeds, and virtue. Employing a mixed-method approach, the development process included a comprehensive literature review, expert validation, and testing with 71 participants comprising educators and students. Results indicate that the instrument is highly valid (average validation score: 4.5/5), practical (85% usability satisfaction), and effective (88% impact satisfaction). It successfully fosters self-reflection (muhasabah) and enhances the internalization of Qur'anic values such as honesty, patience, and social awareness. The findings underscore the critical role of integrating Qur'anic principles into self-assessment tools to address the challenges of spiritual development in modern education. This instrument offers practical applications for educators at various levels, from schools to higher education, and contributes to the development of character education models rooted in Islamic teachings. Further studies are recommended to explore its application in diverse cultural settings and assess its long-term impact on character building.

Abstract

This article explores several aspects of equality in Banjar Customary marriage law, especially regarding the rights of Sasak noble women in choosing a life partner. The aim is to find out and analyze the rights of Sasak noble women from the perspective of gender and Islamic Law. According to Banjar Customary Law, a noblewoman (menak) cannot marry a jajar karang man (ordinary people). If this is done, the act is considered a nyerompang (violation) which has an impact on the severance of kinship ties and inheritance rights. This study uses the contestation method from Michel Foucault which is applied to study the position and status of men and women in Sasak Society. This study found the fact that two kinds of tendencies are currently developing in Sasak society. First, the group that maintains Customary Law, and second, the group that welcomes change. The emergence of this second group is influenced by several factors, including the influence of local Ulama who offer egalitarianism in Islamic Law to solve marriage problems that arise in society. This study also concludes that there is a relationship between customs strengthened by scholars with the theory of contestation, where customs are normative forces that are maintained and influence the dynamics of power in the context of marriage. The presence of laws, thus, that combine cultural traditions and religious beliefs is needed to achieve gender equality in marriage
