Abstract

Abstract: The Mangongkal Holi ceremony is a traditional ceremony carried out from generation to generation by the Toba Batak tribe as a form of respect for the ancestors by digging bones and moving them to a new grave called the monument. The Mangongkal Holi ceremony is always accompanied by a traditional Toba Batak musical instrument, Gondang which plays an important role in the procession of this traditional ceremony. The purpose of this study were 1) To find out the origin of Gondang, 2) To find out the benefits of Gondang for the people of Janji Natogu Village, Pahae Julu Subdistrict, North Tapanuli Regency, 3) To find out the procession form of Gondang when walking the traditional ceremonial process Mangongkal Holi in Janji Natogu Village Pahae Julu Subdistrict, North Tapanuli Regency, 4) To find out the role of Gondang in the traditional ceremony Mangongkal Holi, 5) To find out the efforts made by the community of Janji Natogu Village, Pahae Julu District, North Tapanuli Regency in preserving Gondang musical instruments. Researchers used qualitative research methods with descriptive studies. The results of this study indicate that Gondang's role is very important in the Mangongkal Holi ceremony as the main tool to achieve the relationship between humans and the Creator called Debata Mulajadi Na Bolon in the Toba Batak tribe and as a means of accompanying tor-tor which is till preserved by the community Janji Natogu Village, Pahae Julu District, North Tapanuli Regency.Keywords: Role, Gondang, Ceremony, Mangongkal Holi, Janji Natogu

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase creativity in children aged 4-5 years through playing playdough in KB Desa Mutiara Kasih Village Koto Perambahan District Kampar East Kampar Regency. This study is kind studies using action research or (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action planning, observation / evaluation and reflection. Subject empirically n are children aged 4-5 years who are 16 children in KB Mutiara Kasih. The research data obtained through observation and data analysis was done by using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research shows that playing playdough can boost creativity in children aged 4-5 years. It can be seen from the increase in the average percentage of the creativity of children in the first cycle by 6 2.2% which is the criteria began to develop (MB) and an increase of 31% in the second cycle to 81.4% which is very good at developing criteria (BSB). So, play playdough can improve creativity of children aged 4-5 years in KB Desa Mutiara Kasih Village Koto Perambahan Kampar East District Kampar Regency.Keywords : Creativity, Playing Playdough

Abstract: The purpose of this study is (1) To know the historical background of the establishment of the Godang House in Jin Tanjung clan in Kenegerian Sentajo Sentajo sub district of Kuantan Singingi district (2) To know the function of the Godang House in the Jin Tanjung clan in Kenegerian Sentajo Subdistrict of Sentajo Raya Regency of Kuantan Singingi (3) the role of Rumah Godang in the Jin Tanjung clan in Kenegerian Sentajo Sentajo Subdistrict District of Kuantan Singingi (4) To find out how the existence of the Godang House in Jin Tanjung clan in Kenegerian Sentajo Subdistrict Sentajo Raya Regency of Kuantan Singingi.Godang House of Jin Tanjung Clanis one of the cultural heritages of the Kuantan Singingi District which still stands up to the present.The early history of the Godang House of the Jin Tanjung clan is inseparable from its place of origin, namely the Minangkabau country (West Sumatra). This study also compares how the shape of the Godang House in Sentajo Raya with the original Gadang House from West Sumatra.Not only serves as a gathering place for one clan, but also serves as a place for Adat law. The type of this research is field research, which means that research is carried out by going directly to the field to explore and examine data relating to the title. The respondents in this study were Datuk Penghulu, Dubalang and those who knew about the existence of the Godang House of the Jin Tanjung clan. While the data collection techniques in this study were conducted using two methods, namely interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that the Godang House of the Jin Tanjung clan had a large function and role in advancing the Sentajo Raya people.Key Words: Godang House, Sentajo Raya, Kuantan Singingi

Abstract

Abstract: H. Tengku Ilyas is one of the leading figures in defending and filling independence in Riau Province. H. Tengku Ilyas has many roles in maintaining and filling independence in Riau Province. The purpose of this research is to find out the life history of H. Tengku Ilyas, to find out the role of H. Tengku Ilyas before the colonial era, to know the role of H. Tengku Ilyas in maintaining independence, to find out the role of H. Tengku Ilyas in filling independence in the field of government. The results of this research are many contributions given by H. Tengku Ilyas during his lifetime. During the Netherlands colonial period, he was tasked with collecting taxes from the society to be submitted to the Netherlands. During the Netherlands Aggression II, he was assigned to become the Coordinator of the Districts of Kepenuhan and Tambusai, he was assigned to carry out defense and supplies preparation in the Tambusai area and Kepenuhan. After the Netherlands Aggression II ended many contributions of H. Tengku Ilyas in filling independence. One of them is becoming the Mayor of Pekanbaru. When he became Mayor, education began to increase, roads were widened and paved. The method used in this research is a historical research method which consists of four stages, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The data obtained from interviews were added with data obtained from books and archives. The data obtained from the results of interviews and literatures are then analyzed by my own language. The place of this research in writing scientific paper in Pekanbaru. The data collection techniques used were documentation, interviews and related literature in the role of the H. Tengku Ilyas figure in maintaining and filling independence in Riau Province.Key Words: Role, Fighters Figuree

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in the history subjects of class X IPS at SMAN 2 Peranap. Based on these problems, the formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of the predict-observe-explain (POE) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class X IPS students of SMA Negeri 1 Peranap. The purpose of this study is to find out the activities of teachers and students in the implementation of the learning process by using the predict-observe-explain (POE) model and to determine the effect of this learning model on learning outcomes of students of class X IPS SMA Negeri 2 Peranap on historical subjects. This research was conducted in two cycles, in the first cycle the learning outcomes of students reached 81.8% classical completeness and increased in the second cycle reached 100%. Based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the application of the predict-observe-explain (POE) learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the history lesson of the X IPS class at SMA Negeri 2 Peranap.Key Words: Learning strategy predict-observe-explain (POE), Learning Outcomes

Starting from a variety of diseases that plagued the population in 1847, with thus attempting to recruit indigenous workers as doctors was cheap and easy to obtain. then a school of Javanese Medical Schools (STOVIA) was established. The purpose of this study is 1) To find out the beginning of the entry of the Netherlands in Bagansiapiapi, 2) To find out the reasons for the doctor's RM. Pratomo came to Bagansiapiapi, 3) To find out the role of Doctor RM. Pratomo as a pioneer of bagan siapi-api public health 1910-1939, 4) To find out the development of the hospital that was built by the Doctor RM. Pratomo 1910-1939. As for this study using qualitative research methods with a historical approach and data collection techniques in the form of observation, direct interviews and documentation. The results of this study were doctor RM. Pratomo was a doctor who was transferred to the Bagansiapiapi area and became the first doctor in Bagansiapiapi. Doctor RM. Pratomo built medical clinics and treated local people to communities in the countryside near the Rokan River. So much the role of the doctor RM. Pratomo as the only doctor in Bagansiapiapi so that we should remember his services and preserve his heritage. Key Words: Role, Health Pioneer

Abstract

Abstract: Megalithic culture in Huta Siallagan District Simanindo Samosir Regency is one of the historical attractions that has its own uniqueness. The megalithic culture in Huta Siallagan is a cultural heritage of Batak people regarding community activities in the past. This is evidence of the historical legacy of the culture of the Batak people in the form of the megalithic tradition. The purpose of this study is 1) to know the function of megalithic culture in Huta Siallagan in the past, 2) the use of megalithic culture in Huta Siallagan in the present, 3) the role of the government in maintaining megalithic culture in Huta Siallagan, 4) tourist perceptions of megalithic culture at Huta Siallagan. The method used is a combination method, which is a research method that combines or combines quantitative methods with qualitative methods, and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, literature, observation, documentation. The result of this study are that the megalithic culture in th Huta Siallagan are stone chair and table which functions as a meeting place or decides everything, whether on social matters, customary law, or to decide criminal cases. Megalithic culture in Huta Siallagan in the present has now been used as one of the tourist attractions on Samosir Island which is visited by many tourists. To maintain and develop this tourism, yhe government carries out several policies, namely by channeling sufficient accessibility, and the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure.Key Words: Culture, Megalithic, Huta Siallagan, Samosir.

The purpose of this study is to find out the educational history of Soemardhi Thaher, to find out the efforts made by Soemardhi Thaher in advancing education, and to find out the obstacles experienced by Soemardhi Thaher in advancing education. The method used in this study is qualitative. Data obtained from interview results are then analyzed in their own language. The research location is Pekanbaru City. This research began to be implemented from the beginning of the title of this research was submitted until this thesis was completed. Data collection techniques used are interview techniques, library study techniques, documentation techniques, and data analysis techniques. Abstract

Abstract: The struggle of the Bengkalis citizen to maintain independence and raise the merah putih flag to got difficulty from Japan, which at that time was still in power. However, when Japan lost in the Pacific war some of its leaders still in Bengkalis chose to leave Bengkalis at that time. Then the Chinese come from Malaka who came claiming to be representatives of the Allies. In the Bengkalis, the news of the proclamation was definitely received just before the middle of October 1945. Due to the limitations of the mass media at that time made the public late knowing that Indonesia was already independent. The first purpose of the study is to find out the childhood of Muhammad Nurdin Yusuf's, the second is to find out the educational history of Muhammad Nurdin Yusuf, the third is to find out struggle of Muhammad Nurdin Yusuf before and after independence Indonesian, the forth is to find out the end of the struggle of Muhammad Nurdin Yusuf. The method that used was the historical method, qualitative descriptive method, and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, literature and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that Muhammad Nurdin Yusuf was a young man born on a Bukit Batu on 11 November 1920. He studied at the Public School in 1927 or is now it’s equivalent to a promary school then continued to study at HIS Muhammadiyah and Islamic Boarding Schools. After completing his education, Muhammad Nurdin Yusuf at the time of dutch in Bengkel Buyu actively traded in importing goods from Singapore to Bengkalis. Muhammad Nurdin Yusuf has several roles before and after Independence.Key Words: Biography, Figures, Fighters, Bengkalis.

Abstract: Tradition It is the custom of society that is often carried out by a group of people from generation to generation from generation to generation and still continues to this day. Banjar wedding customary tradition is a tradition carried out by Banjar Pengalihan people. This study aims, To find out the process of Indigenous Tradition of Banjar Tribe marriage in Pengalihan Village, Keritang Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency, To find out the kinds of Indigenous Traditions of the Banjar Tribe marriage in the Pengalihan Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir The Banjar tribe comes from Sumatran, Kalimantan and Javanese Malays who came to South Kalimantan to trade. Their customs and beliefs are due to the centuries-old influence of Dayaks, Malays and Javanese. That Banjar culture in the community area of his hometown is indeed very dominating, it can be seen in daily life and cultural arts. Banjar arts such as Bamanda, Balamut, Madihin, Japen, are still often performed at certain events in connection with celebrating holidays, celebrating weddings, festivals, or other forms of celebration after the harvest season. Based on records, the population in Indragiri Hilir Regency is around 560 thousand people, 40 percent of them are Banjar tribes, followed by Malays, Bugis, Minang, Javanese and other ethnic groups. Regency, knowing the development of the kinds of Indigenous Traditions of the Banjar Tribe marriage in the Pengalihan Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. In this study using qualitative research methods. Qualitative is a method that does not use numbers in data collection and in giving an interpretation of results. The results of this study indicate that the tradition of the Banjar tribe marriage tradition is one of the indigenous Banjar tribes whose fiber will mean.Key Words: Tradition, Customary Marriage
