Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning dapat mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa dan apa penyebab terjadinya miskonsepsi terhadap hukum Newton pada siswa VIII di MtsS Ulumuddin. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental Desain dengan menggunakan desain kontrol yang tidak kompatibel. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling, sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa masing-masing 20 orang. Tes yang digunakan berupa instrumen tes diagnostik berbentuk pilihan ganda berdesain 3 tingkat (Three-Tier) yang didukung dengan CRI (Certainty of Respons Index). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data terjadi pereduksi rata-rata persentase miskonsepsi siswa pada materi hukum Newton sebesar 20% dengan kategori rendah. Berdasarkan data uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji Paired Sampel T-test, diperoleh hasil sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari signifikan 0,05 artinya ditolak dan diterima. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning dapat mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi hukum Newton.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji bagaimana model quided inqury dengan video dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimental, dan desain non-equivalent control group design. Yang menjadi subjek pada penelitian ini seluruh kelas XI-IPA yang terdiri dari 40 siswa  dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes soal essai dan lembar observasi. Dari hasil penelitian, kemampuan proses ilimiah siswa mengenai konten gelombang bunyi dapat ditingkatkan dengan memakai metodologi quided inquiry dengan Media Video dapat. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil uji n-gain di kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai yang lebih signifikan dibandingkan kelas kontrol, sebesar 0,70% dan kelas kontrol 0,42% dengan selisih sebesar 0,28%. Sehingga penerapan model inquiri terbimbing lebih signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa dibandingkan kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model Dirrect Instruction.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran secara umum masih menggunakan buku paket dan metode pembelajaran ceramah, yang menyebabkan peserta didik merasa jenuh dan bosan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui kelayakan LKPD berbasis discovery learning pada materi suhu dan kalor, (2) mendeskripsikan respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD, dan (3) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan LKPD tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan research and development (R&D) dengan model 4-D. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kelayakan pengembangan LKPD berbasis discovery learning dinilai layak oleh ahli media dengan nilai 0,89, sangat layak oleh ahli materi dengan nilai 0,91, dan sangat layak oleh guru dengan nilai 0,92, (2) respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD sangat menarik dengan nilai 0,90, dan (3) penggunaan LKPD tersebut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan perolehan N-Gain Score sebesar 0,75 dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis discovery learning dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor

Abstract

The increasing demand for marine ornamental fish, particularly Amphiprion percula, has raised concerns about sustainability due to the heavy reliance on wild-caught specimens. Captive breeding programs offer a viable alternative; however, reproductive success varies significantly depending on the artificial substrates used. This study examines the effects of different substrate types on spawning duration, fertilization rate, and egg hatchability in A. percula under controlled aquaculture conditions. A completely randomized design was implemented, testing four substrate types”cobek (earthenware, control), PVC pipes, ceramic pieces, and asbestos sheets”with three replicates each. Broodstock were maintained in optimized water quality conditions, with regular monitoring of feeding regimes and spawning behavior. The results demonstrated that substrate type significantly influenced reproductive parameters. The shortest spawning interval was observed in the cobek treatment (7 days), while the longest was recorded in the asbestos treatment (32.67 days). Fertilization rates ranged from 96.67% in the cobek treatment to 93.42% in the PVC pipe treatment. Notably, the hatchability of fertilized eggs remained consistently at 100% across all treatments, suggesting that artificial substrates do not compromise embryonic development. Water quality parameters were maintained within optimal ranges throughout the experiment, ensuring a stable rearing environment. This research contributes to the improvement of captive breeding practices, reducing dependency on wild populations and supporting the sustainable trade of marine ornamental fish. Future studies should explore additional factors influencing breeding success, including environmental cues and broodstock conditioning, to further refine aquaculture methodologies.

Abstract

Effective biology learning requires various components to enhance learning, including implementing appropriate learning models and media. This study examines the effect of the SrVER learning model assisted by augmented reality (AR) media on the biology learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at SMAN 2 Mataram. This research employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The study population consists of 13 10th-grade classes at SMAN 2 Mataram, from which four classes were selected as the research sample using purposive sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires and student learning outcome tests. The data analysis techniques used in this study include the N-Gain statistical test and the Mann-Whitney test. The results show that the experimental class achieved an N-Gain score of 0.4 (moderate), while the control class obtained an N-Gain score of 0.2 (low). Furthermore, the Mann-Whitney test yielded an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.001, which is less than 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the post-test scores of the control and experimental classes. These findings confirm that implementing the SrVER learning model assisted by augmented reality media can significantly improve the biology learning outcomes of 10th-grade students.

Abstract

This research aims impact of online gaming on changes in children's behavior, focusing on its negative impact on social and emotional development at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Berbah. The method used was descriptive qualitative, this study involved six parents, six students, and one teacher, using observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. The results showed that online gaming positively improved technological understanding, but negatively impacted social interaction, emotional stability, and eye health. Factors contributing to gaming addiction include lack of self-control and parental attention. This study underscores the important role of parents and teachers in managing students' use of technology to reduce adverse impacts, such as antisocial behavior and decreased academic performance. Additionally, the study highlights the need for balanced digital engagement strategies to help children develop healthier gaming habits. Future research could explore intervention programs that promote responsible gaming while enhancing students' social and emotional well-being.

Abstract

In the contemporary world, as parents increasingly acknowledge the crucial role of quality education in shaping their children's future, particularly through religious education, uncertainties persist regarding the most effective platforms for its implementation and delivery. This qualitative research aims to explore optimal locations for imparting religious education to children and investigate its role in the moral and ethical development of children through faith-based learning. The research involved interviews with ten parent informants to gather insights into the best platforms and impacts of religious education on children's moral and ethical growth, which were then analyzed thematically to identify recurring patterns, key influences, and the extent of religious education's effectiveness in shaping children's character and ethical values. The findings show that religious education can be accessed through formal schooling, non-formal Quranic education, and the family. School-based religious education covers both theoretical and practical aspects, while Quranic education provides in-depth Islamic values. The family integrates religious values into daily life, with parents serving as primary educators and role models. The research highlights the significant impact of religious education on moral and ethical character, spiritual foundation, social skills, cognitive development, independence, and communication. It advocates for the integration of religious values across all educational platforms, emphasizing its role in fostering intellectually skilled and morally upright individuals.

Abstract

Phytoplankton blooms in the lake cause ecological, economic, health, energy, and aesthetic losses. It reduces water quality and biota diversity, creates toxins in the waters, and changes the structures and functions of the ecosystem. The essential nutrients for the growth of phytoplankton are nitrogen and phosphorus. Controlling phytoplankton growth can be managed by controlling the limiting nutrient input. This study aims to identify the limiting nutrient, analyze variations in TN:TP ratio spatially and temporally, and model TN:TP ratio and chlorophyll-a relationship. This study used secondary data from previous studies, namely TN, TP, and chlorophyll-a observed monthly in seven stations purposively during a year. Rainfall data was also obtained from the previous study. Limiting nutrients were determined by Redfield theory, and data were analyzed by Spearman correlation, One-way ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis, and regression analysis. The results showed phosphorus was a limiting nutrient for phytoplankton growth in Lake Laut Tawar. TN:TP ratio and chlorophyll-a did not vary spatially, indicating the lake surface waters were evenly mixed. The parameters varied temporally, expressing the influence of hydroclimatological factors, especially rainfall. Rainfall increases nutrient input to the lake, but only rain below 200 mm/month causes an increase in the concentration of nutrients in the lake. The rainfall above 200 mm/month increases lake water volume significantly, thereby reducing nutrient concentrations. TN:TP ratio and chlorophyll-a related negatively and formed a non-linear relationship with an empirical model Chlorophyll-a = 2770.285 (TN/TP)-1.871. Abstract

Pertumbuhan tanaman salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan yaitu cekaman kekeringan. Pertunasan tanaman tebu pada lahan gambut sering kali mengalami cekaman kekeringan karena gambut memiliki sifat yang rendah dalam menyimpan air selain itu tebu juga memiliki perakaran yang dangkal sehingga akar kesulitan dalam menjangkau air. Oleh karena itu pertumbuhan awal (vegetatif) tanaman tebu akan terhambat apabila pada fase pertunasan mengalami kekeringan, sehingga perlu recovery agar pertumbuhannya optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis pengaruh dan menentukan durasi biopriming Trichoderma spp dalam recovery pertumbuhan klon tebu cekaman kekeringan. Penelitian dilakukan di lahan percobaan serta Green House Politeknik Negeri Pontianak yang disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan sebanyak 6 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu durasi biopriming (T0: Kontrol, T1: 6 jam, T2: 12 jam, T3: 18 jam, T4: 24 jam). Penelitian ini diawali dengan perbanyakan Trichoderma sp, dilanjutkan pertunasan kemudian penanaman dalam polybag. Parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, jumlah anakan dan pengamatan lingkungan. Hasil pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA, apabila terdapat pengaruh nyata maka diuji lanjut dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan taraf 5%. Perlakuan biopriming Trichoderma spp berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman klon tebu dalam recovery pertumbuhan setelah mengalami cekaman kekeringan. Durasi biopriming Trichoderma spp selama 24 jam (P4) merupakan durasi yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan tinggi tanaman klon tebu dalam recovery pertumbuhan setelah mengalami cekaman kekeringan

Abstract

Semakin bertambahnya populasi penduduk menyebabkan kebutuhan akan bahan bakar pun meningkat sehingga dibutuhkan sumber alternatif yang lain. Salah satu energi terbarukan yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian untuk dikembangkan adalah biomassa. Biomassa sendiri dapat dibuat dengan memanfaatkan sampah atau limbah. Salah satu biomassa yang potensial adalah ampas tebu, yang sering hanya dibakar dan dapat mencemari lingkungan. Hal ini menghambat pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Intitusi pendidikan dalam hal ini sekolah mempunyai peran penting dalam mendukung program sustainable development goals (SDGs). Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan dunia pendidikan yaitu dengan mengintegrasikan kompetensi SDGs dalam kurikulum merdeka belajar. SMAN 7 Kota Lhokseumawe belum menerapkan kompetensi SDGs dalam pembelajaran. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuh kembangkan kesadaran sosial siswa terhadap lingkungan melalui pengolahan limbah ampas tebu menjadi bahan bakar alternative briket dalam mencegah pencemaran lingkungan. Program ini melibatkan siswa dan guru SMAN 7 Lhokseumawe dalam proses pengolahan ampas tebu menjadi briket, melalui serangkaian tahapan mulai dari pembakaran ampas tebu menjadi arang, penghalusan arang, hingga pencetakan briket. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pengelolaan limbah dan pentingnya energi terbarukan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan siswa dan guru, serta mendorong implementasi pendidikan berkelanjutan di sekolah. Program ini berhasil mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan dan membuka peluang pemanfaatan limbah ampas tebu sebagai alternatif sumber energi yang berkelanjutan.
