Abstract

This research on art, culture, and tourism tries to provide the latest information about the cultural treasures in Palembang. It uses ADDIE Model to research and develop the prototypes. The product has gone through an expert revision stage carried out by 3 experts with attached comments giving the result that this encyclopedia product is deemed feasible. In the next stage, one-to-one learner test stage, it receives comments and suggestions from three students as a reference for the revisions so that product shortages are greatly reduced. In the small group test stage, very constructive comments and suggestions were received to make the product even better before it is then moved to the test stage in which it gets a result of tabulation score of 4.10, which means the prototype is suitable for finalization as a finished product. The results of this study conclude that the encyclopedia produced is suitable to be used as a handbook either for the government, academics (universities, schools, and related educational institutions), tourists (at home and abroad), as well as the people of Palembang themselves.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berguna untuk menunjang aktivitas belajar. Pada pembelajaran sejarah pemanfaatan media membantu menghadirkan hal-hal yang sukar dideskripsikan melalui kata. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang valid dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan software website Canva dengan materi pembelajaran Manusia Pendukung Gua Putri & Gua Harimau, yang akan diterapkan pada peserta didik kelas X IPS 1 di SMAN 14 Palembang sebagai subjek penelitian. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Allesi & Trollip. Hasil analisa data dari Uji Alpha diperoleh rata-rata nilai keseluruhan sebesar 4,25 dengan kategori sangat valid. Penilaian tersebut diuraikan berikut, penilaian validator materi sebesar 3,88 kategori valid, penilaian validator media 4,25 kategori sangat valid, validator bahasa 4,54 kategori sangat valid, penilaian validator desain instruksional sebesar 4,35 kategori sangat valid. Pada beta test yang dilakukan untuk menilai kemudahan penggunaan media sebesar 4,5 kategori sangat baik. Pada hasil belajar peserta didik untuk mengukur tingkat keefektifan media pembelajaran dihasilkan peningkatan hasil belajar sebessar 45% dengan nilai Ngain sebesar 0,72 kategori tinggi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan media pembelajaran berbasis website Canva materi Manusia Gua Putri & Gua Harimau ini memiliki valid dan efektivitas.

Abstract

Ratib Saman is the most important dhikr that contains invocation. Ratib Saman was first introduced by Shaykh Abdul Samad al-Palimbani and was part of the teachings of the Sammaniyah order. The practice of Ratib Saman in Palembang had shifted because there were too few followers who read the Ratib Saman. However, over time, the Ratib Saman tradition began to be preserved by the people of Palembang, especially in old mosques. Ratib Saman is routinely practiced on twice a week. This research aims at determining the beginning of the practice of Ratib Saman in Palembang and the preservation of Ratib Saman in Palembang that are still being held. The historical method used to get factual explanations on the origin of Ratib Saman. The data collection was conducted by observation, documentation, and interview. In addition, the Ratib Saman tradition is also widely practiced by their selves on special occasions. Ratib Saman readings are attended either by young or old people. It had become a tradition of the people of Palembang, which can be seen from the practice of Ratib Saman that was held regularly and whose reading had a characteristic. Therefore, it should be preserved so that it does not get erased by time.

Abstract

Kesenian Wayang Kulit tidak hanya ada di Pulau Jawa, tetapi juga ada di Pulau Sumatera tepatnya di Kota Palembang. Namun, keberadaan wayang Palembang berbeda dengan di Jawa. Hal ini lah  yang menjadi masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana eksistensi kesenian Wayang Kulit Palembang tahun 2000-2019. Sehingga Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendapatkan atau memperoleh berbagai informasi tentang bagaimana eksistensi kesenian wayang kulit Palembang tahun 2000-2019. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode historis atau metode sejarah, yang diawali dengan teknik yang disebut heuristik, melakukan wawancara, dan jika data terkumpul harus dikritik atau verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa Kesenian wayang ini mulai pudar ditengah-tengah masyarakat. Hal ini disebabkan oleh arus globalisasi serta kurangnya minat  untuk mempelajari pagelaran  wayang Palembang, tidak ada penerus atau kader yang melestarikannya dan juga karena pergeseran atau bahkan persaingan dengan budaya modern. Eksistensi wayang mulai memudar sejak tahun 2012 dengan adanya pergantian-pergantian pengurus Perpadi (Persatuan Pedalangan Seluruh Indonesia), sehingga perlu adanya strategi kembali yang dapat menghidupkan atau meningkatkan kesenian wayang kulit Palembang. Banyak upaya yang telah dilakukan Sanggar Sri Palembang untuk memperkenalkan wayang Palembang kepada masyarakat, melalui promosi di koran, radio, dan televisi serta melakukan workshop-workshop dengan dinas pariwisata dan kebudayaan. Namun masih belum ada perubahan dikarenakan masyarakat Palembang yang memang kurang menyenangi wayang.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an analysis of the use of digital technology in the PKN learning process in the era of the COVID-19 Pandemic as well as what factors are supporting and inhibiting lecturers in the online learning process for PKN course lecturers. This research uses qualitative methods through a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are in the form of interviews, questionnaires or questionnaires, and documentation. The type of interview used in this study was a semistructured interview. The type of questionnaire used in this study is an open questionnaire and problem analysis is done through interviews to the coordinators of PKN courses, PKN lecturers, and students. There is a major problem in the integration of digital technology, namely the need to strengthen digital technology in PKN learning so as to reduce the obstacles felt by students and lecturers such as signal constraints, server down, do not have supporting infrastructure facilities such as laptops and handphone and increase the creativity and innovation of lecturers in teaching using digital technology so that lessons do not cause saturation of students with the materials provided and solutions provided to increase the content and activities of e-learning, facilitating lecturers' subjects for the learning process.

Abstract

This study discusses the Kedurei Agung Traditional Ceremony as the cultural identity of the Curup community in 200-2018. This study aims to strengthen the identity of the Kedurei Agung Traditional Ceremony as the culture of the Curup City community in 2000-2018. Cultural identity is a basic awareness of the special characteristics of a person’s group in terms of living habits, customs, language, and values, meanwhile the Kedurei Agung Traditional Ceremony is one of the traditional ceremonies that has been carried out for a long time by the people of Curup City as respect for ancestors who have passed down the culture and built Curup City. The Kedurei Agung Traditional Ceremony is carried out with the condition that the Corner Prayer is carried out one day before the Kedurei Agung Traditional Ceremony is held. In its implementation, the people of Curup City also offer various harvests that are harvested during the harvest season, the harvests will be distributed and eaten together which indicates the prosperity and welfare of Curup City. The research process was carried out using the historical method with four stages, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, historiography. Data was collected by using literature study, observation, and interview methods. A literature study was conducted on several literatures related to the research topic, observations were made in Curup City, and interviews were conducted with the Curup City Government and the Rejang Lebong District Customary Council. The results show that the Kedurei Agung Traditional Ceremony is a strong cultural identity for the people of Curup City. This is because the Kedurei Agung Traditional Ceremony is an annual event that is routinely carried out by the people of Curup City as a sign of respect for the ancestors and a symbol of the prosperity of Curup City. Along with this, the Kedurei Agung Traditional Ceremony has also developed from 2000 to 2018, this shows that the cultural identity of the Kedurei Agung Traditional Ceremony is getting stronger with conservation efforts from various parties, namely the government, society, and cultural activists.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam Terpadu adalah pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam pembelajaran sekolah atau memadukan antara pendidikan agama dengan pendidikan umum. Sekolah Islam Terpadu telah menyebar keberadaannya, banyak masyarakat yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan sekolah Islam Terpadu yang memiliki kualitas yang baik salah satunya sekolah Islam Terpadu Izzuddin Palembang. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyelenggaraan pendidikan sekolah Islam Terpadu Izzuddin di Kota Palembang. kemudian, penulisan ini menggunakan metode Historis. Adapaun tahapan dalam metode historis yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, intepretasi, dan historiografi. hasil pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penulisan artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa penyelenggaraan sekolah ini dimulai pada tahun 2002 yang dirancang dengan kurikulum diknas dan kurikulum panduan dari Jaringan Sekolah Islam Terpadu. penggunaan kurikulum JSIT  menandakan bahwa ciri khas dari sekolah Islam Terpadu. Selain pembelajaran formal, sekolah Izzuddin menerapakan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dengan menghapal. Sehingga terus membentuk peserta didik menjadi Ahlul Qur’an.

Abstract

With the theme of web-based photography gallery, this study aims at collecting and centralising scattered data on local wisdom in Palembang and Surakarta. With both having long history in their existence, Palembang and Surakarta are home to many and various cultural heritage. This study tries to collect information about these and centralise them into a valid, practical and effective photography gallery that will help with students' learning. This is because in developing a medium like this, not only can it be a way of preserving cultural heritage, the end result of collected data and information can be a rich, interesting source of learning materials. All the steps taken in this study all lead to the main objective mentioned earlier, collecting and centralising historical photos of Palembang and Surakarta across a span of time periods in a way that is comprehensive and interesting, especially in terms of academics or education. This study uses the ADDIE Model for its research and development process. The data is collected through individual interviews (culture practitioners, historians, local residents of Palembang and Surakarta, etc.) as well as reviewing existing websites of the same category. The end product of this research has gone through expert validation in terms of materials, media and language, and is considered valid. After that the validated product underwent one-to-one and small group evaluation to assess its practicality, effectiveness and attractiveness.

Abstract

The Ziarah tradition is one of the traditions of the Indonesian people that is often being held before Ramadan. The great influence of the existence of the Arab communities in the Palembang brought a tradition known to various countries so that it became religious tourism, namely the Ziarah Kubra. Ziarah Kubra  is one of the traditions of the people of Palembang city which is being held every 10 days before Ramadan by visiting the graves of the ulama and leaders of the Palembang Darussalam Sultanate. The purpose of this research is to find out how the emergence of the Ziarah Kubra carried out by the Arab communities in Palembang and to find out how the development of the Ziarah Kubra tradition in the people of Palembang city from 1970-2013. The method used in this research is the historical method. This research has shown that the tradition of the Ziarah Kubra has been brought by the people of Palembang has been developed every year, where's this tradition was only practiced by the Arab communities in the Palembang and relatives of the Palembang Sultanate. Then this tradition began to be open to the public in 1970 and was designated become the religious tourism by the Palembang city government in 2013. So that the people of Palembang continue.

Abstract

GABI'91 Theater Student Activity Unit (Indonesian National Children's Guard Theater Student Activity Unit'91) is a student organization that was founded in 1991, at first the GABI'91 Theater UKM named Teater GABI (Indonesian Children's Association) was a theater formed by Study Program students. Indonesian Language and Literature Education on 21 October 1991. The foundation for the formation of the GABI Theater is as a facility or a forum for students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program to practice and be creative together. The purpose of this research is useful to see how the development and role of Teater Gabi. The analysis process of this research uses the historical method in the form of an investigation that is carried out critically of the conditions, developments, and experiences that have been passed in the past and weighs carefully about a validation of historical sources and interpretations of the sources used. The results of the research conclude that the development of Theater is still active as an activity unit which becomes a forum for students to build and channel their creativity. Not only limited to students, UKM Teater GABI'91 also plays an active role in building the creativity of the community, regional and even national theater activists with their activities.
