Abstract

Pembelajaran ekonomi sering kali didominasi oleh ceramah karena materinya yang padat. Namun, penggunaan cuplikan film sebagai alat bantu dalam menjelaskan materi dapat menjadi langkah inovatif yang menarik perhatian siswa dan membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih holistik. Cuplikan film dapat memberikan koneksi antara materi dengan contoh-contoh kehidupan nyata yang jarang dijumpai siswa sehari-hari. Meski demikian, pendekatan ini membutuhkan kreativitas dari guru untuk memastikan koneksi tersebut berjalan sesuai harapan. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilakukan kepada guru-guru di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara dengan tujuan memperkenalkan potensi metode pembelajaran inovatif ini. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan respon positif dari guru, namun ada kendala yang disampaikan oleh guru, yaitu perlunya pemahaman lebih mendalam tentang film apa yang sesuai dengan konteks materi, serta keterampilan dalam mengelola kelas agar tetap kondusif.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki kekayaan budaya yang tersebar dari Sabang sampai Merauke. Keanekaragaman budaya ini patut untuk diketahui oleh seluruh anak Indonesia dimanapun berada sebagai generasi pelestari budaya Indonesia. Pengenalan budaya dapat dilakukan melalui pendidikan formal, informal, dan non formal. Pemenuhan kebutuhan pendidikan anak-anak migran di Malaysia telah diupayakan oleh perkumpulan masyarakat Indonesia yang bekerja sama dengan Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia (KBRI) di Kuala Lumpur melalui Sanggar Bimbingan (SB) yang sudah berjalan secara rutin, salah satunya yakni SB Sentul Kuala Lumpur. Kemampuan mengenal keragaman budaya daerah Indonesia menjadi masalah utama anak migran Indonesia di SB Sentul karena mereka tinggal di luar Indonesia. Oleh karenanya anak-anak migran tersebut perlu dikenalkan dengan budaya tanah air Indonesia. Tujuan dari Pengabdian Masyarakat (PkM) Kemitraan Internasional (KI) ini adalah untuk menguatkan pengetahuan budaya Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan bentuk permainan tradisional yang dilakukan melalui demonstrasi dan pendampingan. Metode demonstrasi digunakan untuk mencontohkan bentuk permainan, sedangkan metode pendampingan memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta untuk berinteraksi dengan mencoba mempraktekkan permainan yang diajarkan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini lebih dari 93% anak telah mampu memahami beragam budaya Indonesia. Akhirnya mereka diharapkan tetap mengenal budaya Indonesia meskipun berada di negara asing.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi dan numerasi merupakan ketrampilan dasar kependidikan yang perlu dimiliki oleh siswa termasuk anak pekerja migran asal Indonesia di Malaysia. Paguyuban masyarakat Indonesia melalui Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) telah bekerja sama dengan pihak Kedutaan Besar RI di Kuala Lumpur membentuk sanggar-sanggar belajar (SB) yang sudah berjalan secara rutin dengan target para siswa dapat mengikuti “Kejar Paket”, diantaranya yakni SB Ar-Rahmah Penang dan SB Kulim Kedah. Sesuai hasil observasi, kemampuan literasi dan numerasi menjadi permasalahan utama pada siswa migran Indonesia di kedua SB tersebut. Sehingga tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Kemitraan Internasional (PkM KI) ini yang terintegrasi dengan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) ialah memberdayakan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa dengan berbantuan media digital. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu Partisipatori Rural Appresial (PRA). Sasaran kegiatan yakni 36 siswa SB Ar-Rahmah Penang dan SB Kulim Kedah Malaysia. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, latihan, dan pendampingan. Hasil utama pengabdian ini yakni adanya peningkatan sebesar 83% pada kemampuan literasi dan 74% pada kemampuan numerasi. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah dicapai maka kegiatan PkM KI dan KKN ini amatlah penting sehingga pendampingan literasi dan numerasi akan terus dilakukan secara berkesinambungan setelah selesainya masa kegiatan ini melalui daring.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe inadequacy of institutions offering religious education to students at Sanggar Belajar Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is an urgent issue. Challenges related to immigration documentation and the absence of a structured curriculum in Community Learning Centers (CLC) contribute to the low level of religious knowledge among students. Although primary school years are crucial for acquiring basic knowledge of Islam and daily worship practices, CLC students face significant difficulties. In response, the Community Engagement for International Partnership (PkM-KI) team introduced Augmented Reality Cards (ARCard) as a new educational tool aimed at helping students learn prayer recitation. The main features of ARCard involve video presentations and three-dimensional objects, enhancing the learning experience. ARCard is specifically designed to offer guidance on prayer recitation and can be accessed via smartphone. The results show student enthusiasm, indicating that learning prayer recitation has become more accessible even without direct parental guidance. These findings underscore ARCard's potential as a significant tool for enhancing student participation in religious education at CLC Kampung Baru. The next recommended step is a comprehensive long-term evaluation of ARCard's impact on improving religious knowledge and learning motivation among students, providing valuable insights for the development of holistic learning programs in the future.Keywords: Augmented Reality, Sanggar Belajar, Community Learning Center, Learning MediaABSTRAKKetidakcukupan lembaga yang menawarkan pendidikan agama kepada siswa di Sanggar Belajar Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, adalah masalah mendesak. Tantangan terkait dokumentasi imigrasi dan tidak adanya kurikulum terstruktur di Community Learning Center (CLC), yang mengatur pengajaran mata pelajaran Islam, berkontribusi pada rendahnya tingkat pengetahuan agama di kalangan siswa. Meskipun tahun-tahun sekolah dasar adalah periode tepat untuk memperoleh pengetahuan dasar tentang Islam dan praktik ibadah sehari-hari, siswa di CLC menghadapi kesulitan mencolok. Sebagai tanggapan, tim Community Engagement for International Partnership (PkM-KI) memperkenalkan Kartu Augmented Reality (ARCard) sebagai alat pendidikan baru yang bertujuan membantu siswa dalam belajar pembacaan doa. Fitur utama ARCard melibatkan presentasi video dan objek tiga dimensi, meningkatkan pengalaman belajar. ARCard ini dirancang khusus untuk menawarkan panduan tentang pembacaan doa dan dapat diakses melalui smartphone. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme siswa, bahwa belajar pengajian doa menjadi lebih mudah diakses bahkan tanpa bimbingan orang tua. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi potensi ARCard sebagai alat signifikan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam pendidikan agama di CLC Kampung Baru. Langkah selanjutnya yang disarankan adalah evaluasi jangka panjang yang komprehensif mengenai dampak penggunaan ARCard terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan agama dan motivasi belajar di kalangan siswa, memberikan wawasan berharga untuk pengembangan program pembelajaran holistik di masa depan.Kata kunci: Augmented Reality, Sanggar Belajar, Community Learning Center, Media Pembelajaran

Abstract

Leadership plays a strategic role in an organization and can significantly influence its performance. The role of a school principal's leadership can have both positive and negative impacts on the school. A positive influence from the principal's leadership can bring about changes, especially in Muhammadiyah schools. School transformation can be achieved when the principal, as a leader, has the competence to formulate innovative visions, missions, goals, and strategies for the school. This type of leadership with such competence can be referred to as visionary leadership. This study selects MI Taskombang in Klaten, Indonesia, as the research site. It employs a qualitative approach, specifically a case study design. The case study design is chosen because MI Taskombang has undergone significant changes in recent years and has become a benchmark and favored school. The objectives of this research are as follows: (1) to describe the role of visionary leadership by the principal, (2) to explore the effective strategies employed by the principal in implementing school changes, (3) to examine the innovations implemented by the principal in bringing about effective school changes, (4) to understand the process of change in the school, (5) to identify the supporting factors for the principal in implementing changes, and (6) to identify the hindering factors faced by the principal. Abstract

The research aims to describe the progressive leadership of the Muhammadiyah high school heads so that they can dig potential and inspire change for the better. Progressive leadership in the context of education in the 4.0 era reflects an active effort to exploit the potential of schools and inspire change that supports the development of pupils and the learning environment in its entirety. These indicators include the use of technology, curriculum innovation and learning methods, teacher and student competence development, partnerships with institutions, empowerment of teachers and employees. The methods used in this research are qualitative, with literature/references and interviews with the head of the Muhammadiyah High School, then analyzed and presented descriptively. The result of the research is that the Muhammadiyah High School, as an educational institution, is claimed to have the leadership to be demonstrated to effectively uncover the potential and influence of transformation. One of the basic principles of sound leadership that is applied is known as progressive leadership. This form of leadership is dedicated to the eternal evolution and rejuvenation of adaptive leadership strategies, and preserves aspirations for the days to come. The findings of this research are attitudes or characteristics of the progressive leadership of the high school of Muhammadiyah which is abbreviated by the name BIMA SAKTI (Berkemajuan, Inovatif, Moderat, Adaptif - Simpati, Amanah, Kolaboratif, Transformatif, Ijtihadi).

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembentukan pendidikan karakter berorientasi HOTS di sekolah dasar merupakan gebrakan baru dalam mengembangkan karakter siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membentuk karakter siswa dan membentuk siswa berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan pendidikan karakter siswa berorientasi HOTS dapat dilaksanakan sesuai dengan target capaian pembelajaran. Nilai karakter yang dibentuk yaitu nilai displin, religius, tanggungjawab, dan jujur. Pembentukan ini melalui integrasi pendidikan karakter berorientasi HOTS dalam proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas dan diluar kelas. Integrasi di dalam kelas yaitu dengan mengintegrasikan pendidikan berorientasi HOTS dalam RPP dan di laksanakan selama pembelajaran sedangkan intergasi diluar kelas yaitu dengan pembiasan nilai karakter religius dengan sholat dhuha, pembiasaan nilai karakter disiplin  datang tepat waktu ke sekolah, penanaman nilai karakter tanggungjawab dalam kepengurusan kelas, dan nilai karakter jujur dengan menulis kegiatan keseharian siswa dalam buku “mathur jujur”. Kata Kunci: Karakter, HOTS, Sekolah Dasar Abstract: The formation of character education-oriented HOTS in elementary school is a new breakthrough in developing the character of students. The purpose of this study is to form the character of students and shaping the students ' high level thinking. This research is a descriptive research using a qualitative approach. Data collection through interview, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the formation of character education student-oriented HOTS can be implemented in accordance with the target learning outcomes. The value of the characters that formed the values of discipline, religious, responsible, and honest. The formation of this through the integration of character education-oriented HOTS in the learning process in the classroom and outside the classroom. Integration in the classroom by integrating the education-oriented HOTS in LESSON plans and implemented during the learning while the intergasi outside the classroom, i.e. with a refraction value of a religious character with sholat dhuha, habituation character value of discipline come to school on time, planting the character value of responsibility in the management of the class, and the value of honest character by writing daily activities of the students in the book “Mathur Jujur” Keywords: Character, HOTS, Elementary School

Abstract

Background: The integration of 21st-century character education in mathematics learning is crucial for developing students' academic and personal skills, ensuring they are prepared for future challenges. Objective: This study aims to describe the implementation of 21st-century character education in mathematics learning for elementary school students, specifically focusing on how these values are integrated into the curriculum at SD Negeri 2 Sukorejo, Klaten. Method: The research used a descriptive qualitative approach, involving the principal, teachers, and students as subjects. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with validity ensured through source triangulation. Data analysis followed the steps of collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results: The study found that the implementation of 21st-century character education at SD Negeri 2 Sukorejo was effectively integrated into the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). This integration helped promote essential character values such as responsibility, critical thinking, and collaboration within mathematics learning. Conclusion: The implementation of 21st-century character education at SD Negeri 2 Sukorejo demonstrates that integrating character values into mathematics lessons can enhance students' academic skills and moral development. This approach contributes to preparing students for the challenges of the modern world. Contribution: The findings of this study provide valuable scientific information for teachers on how to integrate 21st-century character education into mathematics learning for elementary school students. It serves as a useful reference for educators seeking to foster character development alongside academic achievement.

Abstract

The motivation underlying this research is to look at educational programs based on character training for implementers in schools. The method used is qualitative. Interviews, documentation, observation, and literature reviews are data collection methods. Miles and Huberman's theory is used for qualitative descriptive data analysis which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings show that comprehensive curriculum management that pays attention to student character development and prioritizes achievement can have an impact on students' emotional, cognitive and psychomotor development. New methods of carrying out educational activities can be carried out with practice-based curriculum management and character education habits. ABSTRAKMotivasi yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat program pendidikan berbasis pelatihan karakter para pelaksana di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Wawancara, dokumentasi, observasi, dan tinjauan literatur merupakan metode pengumpulan data. Teori Miles dan Huberman digunakan untuk analisis data deskriptif kualitatif yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuannya menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan kurikulum secara komprehensif yang memperhatikan perkembangan karakter siswa dan mengedepankan prestasi dapat berdampak pada perkembangan emosional, kognitif, dan psikomotorik siswa. Metode baru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pendidikan dapat dilakukan dengan manajemen kurikulum yang berbasis praktik dan pembiasaan pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of transformational leadership styles in efforts to enhance teacher professionalism at MI Muhammadiyah Karanganyar. Transformational leadership, characterized by idealistic influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration, is believed to positively impact the educational environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive and case study designs. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that the principal at MI Muhammadiyah Karanganyar possesses characteristics of a transformational leader, such as being a role model, motivating teachers, encouraging innovation, and providing personal attention. The implementation of this leadership style has increased teacher professionalism through training programs, performance evaluations, team collaboration, and constructive feedback. In conclusion, transformational leadership plays a significant role in creating an environment that supports the development of teacher professionalism and the overall improvement of educational quality.
