Abstract

Tanda baca dalam kaidah penulisan Arab disebut dengan Alāmat tarqīm. Sedangkan dalam bahasa Yunani disebut dengan “puntucs” yang berarti point dan dewasa ini disebut pungtuasi.  Tanda baca yang digunakan didalam penulisan modern bisa kita lihat di artikel, buku , surat kabar, makalah dan karya ilmiah lainya. Tanda baca merupakan unsur yang sangat mempengaruhi dalam sebuah sebuah tulisan. Penulisan yang baik dengan memperhatikan sistematika kaidah-kaidah penulisan seperti. kaidah-kaidah penulisan seperti tanda baca akan mempermudah tercapainya pesan dan informasi. Masalah yang menjadi latar belakang penulisan karya ilmiah ini yaitu masi dapat kekeliuran dalam penerapan penulisan tanda baca dalam sebuah karya ilmiah sebagai tugas akhir seorang mahasiswa. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan pendekatan dengan metode kualitatif untuk mengumpulkan data yang akurat sebagai tolak ukur penelitian. Hal ini dikarenakan dalam penelitian kualitatif, ketepatan dan kecukupan data sangat dibutuhkan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengumpulkan sebanyak tiga buah tugas akhir mahasiswa sebagai objek penelitian dan perbandingan. Kesalahan penggunaan tanda baca dari suatu karya tulis dapat menimbulkan kesalahan dalam memahami maksud dari isi wacana tersebut. Setelah melakukan penelitian ini, peneliti menyimpulkan banyak kesalahan penggunaan tanda bahasa Arab yang terjadi karena kurangnya pemahaman mahasiswa dalam penggunaan tanda baca bahasa Arab khususnya dalam peletakan tanda baca koma dan titik dua,  yang tentu saja memilki beberapa perbedaan yang harus diperhatikan dari bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Penerapan strategi pemodelan dalam pembelajaran menulis bahasa Arab merupakan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas strategi pemodelan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab siswa. Strategi pemodelan merupakan suatu teknik pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan contoh-contoh tulisan yang baik sebagai model untuk ditiru atau dimodifikasi oleh siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas di sebuah sekolah menengah pertama, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang mendapat perlakuan menggunakan strategi pemodelan dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen penelitiannya adalah tes menulis bahasa Arab yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata skor kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pada posttest. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemodelan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab siswa.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, especially in madrasahs, faces challenges primarily stemming from teacher weaknesses, suboptimal curricula, and often unsystematic materials. It is crucial to develop integrated learning materials that focus on grammar, consider difficulty levels, and provide practical exercises to enhance interest and learning outcomes. Efforts to improve the quality of Arabic language education should concentrate on teacher training to boost competence. Additionally, curriculum revisions, emphasizing the development of materials aligned with learners' needs, can be a strategic step. Ensuring active student involvement by creating engaging materials that follow challenging yet accessible learning principles is also essential. With these steps, it is anticipated that Arabic language learning in madrasahs will undergo significant positive changes.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the ability of writing hamzah in students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program (PBA) at UIN Sumatera Utara. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of library research and questionnaires. The sample of this study is 5 alumni of PBA UIN SU students who were selected purposively. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study show that the ability of writing hamzah in PBA UIN SU students is very good, with an average score of 100. The factors that support the high ability of writing hamzah include mastery of the theory and rules of writing hamzah, practice and habituation of writing Arabic words that contain hamzah, and attention and motivation in learning to write hamzah. This study recommends the need for the application of qualitative methods in learning to write hamzah in PBA UIN SU, as well as the development of library research and questionnaires as assessment instruments.

Abstract

Maharah al-kitabah (writing skills) is the application of complex language skills and abilities. Arabic calligraphy is the art of beautiful writing, whose learning contains how to write letters, words, and sentences in Arabic properly, correctly, and beautifully, so that the writing can be read easily without any errors in writing meaning. The purpose of this research is to analyze the existence of calligraphy in improving maharah al-kitabah. This research is qualitative with a library research approach. Researchers used descriptive analysis method in analyzing research data. Researchers collect data by looking for references to previous journals regarding calligraphy in improving maharah kitabah as a primary data source, and directly analyzing the references used as data sources and drawing conclusions in them. The results showed that calligraphy learning is closely related to kitabah learning. Writing skills or kitabah in Arabic not only require proficiency in expressing the main idea, but also must be proficient in writing letters, words, and sentences in Arabic. Therefore, the existence of calligraphy is important in learning of writing.

Abstract

Humans are the most perfect created creatures, humans have reason and passion which are essentially used to worship Allah Ta'ala. So experts reveal that humans have emotional intelligence as an indication of their ability to understand the emotions of themselves and others. Human thoughts regarding emotional intelligence have been explained in the Al-Quran, so that in the Al-Quran you can find various kinds of emotions that occur in humans. This research aims to determine the relationship between emotional changes experienced by humans in Surah al-Baqarah verse 286 with the writings of Rasm Usmani. Carried out using the library file method, by quoting from various research sources published in various indexed journals. The result that can be seen is that this surah reveals that Allah has arranged everything that exists in this world, all the problems that are given to humans, are actually not beyond the limits of human ability, every problem experienced has its own way of solving it.

Abstract

Calligraphy learning at Sirajul Huda Islamic Boarding School is an integral part of Islamic religious education that aims to develop artistic skills while strengthening spiritual values. This study uses a qualitative approach to analyze the development of calligraphy learning, the challenges faced, and opportunities that can be utilized to improve the quality of teaching. The methods applied at the Islamic boarding school combine traditional techniques with modern technology, and involve collaboration between Islamic boarding school managers, teachers, and the calligraphy art community. The results of the study indicate that despite challenges such as time constraints and variations in student abilities, the program has developed positively with the support of adequate facilities, competitions, and teacher training. Government support and collaboration with the calligraphy art community were also identified as important factors in strengthening the quality of learning. Sirajul Huda Islamic Boarding School has the potential to become a center of excellence for Islamic calligraphy learning by integrating art, spirituality, and technology.
