Abstract

This study aims to identify the ability of writing hamzah in students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program (PBA) at UIN Sumatera Utara. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of library research and questionnaires. The sample of this study is 5 alumni of PBA UIN SU students who were selected purposively. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study show that the ability of writing hamzah in PBA UIN SU students is very good, with an average score of 100. The factors that support the high ability of writing hamzah include mastery of the theory and rules of writing hamzah, practice and habituation of writing Arabic words that contain hamzah, and attention and motivation in learning to write hamzah. This study recommends the need for the application of qualitative methods in learning to write hamzah in PBA UIN SU, as well as the development of library research and questionnaires as assessment instruments.

Abstract

Maharah al-kitabah (writing skills) is the application of complex language skills and abilities. Arabic calligraphy is the art of beautiful writing, whose learning contains how to write letters, words, and sentences in Arabic properly, correctly, and beautifully, so that the writing can be read easily without any errors in writing meaning. The purpose of this research is to analyze the existence of calligraphy in improving maharah al-kitabah. This research is qualitative with a library research approach. Researchers used descriptive analysis method in analyzing research data. Researchers collect data by looking for references to previous journals regarding calligraphy in improving maharah kitabah as a primary data source, and directly analyzing the references used as data sources and drawing conclusions in them. The results showed that calligraphy learning is closely related to kitabah learning. Writing skills or kitabah in Arabic not only require proficiency in expressing the main idea, but also must be proficient in writing letters, words, and sentences in Arabic. Therefore, the existence of calligraphy is important in learning of writing.

Abstract

Humans are the most perfect created creatures, humans have reason and passion which are essentially used to worship Allah Ta'ala. So experts reveal that humans have emotional intelligence as an indication of their ability to understand the emotions of themselves and others. Human thoughts regarding emotional intelligence have been explained in the Al-Quran, so that in the Al-Quran you can find various kinds of emotions that occur in humans. This research aims to determine the relationship between emotional changes experienced by humans in Surah al-Baqarah verse 286 with the writings of Rasm Usmani. Carried out using the library file method, by quoting from various research sources published in various indexed journals. The result that can be seen is that this surah reveals that Allah has arranged everything that exists in this world, all the problems that are given to humans, are actually not beyond the limits of human ability, every problem experienced has its own way of solving it.

Abstract

Writing is one of the Arabic language skills, in learning it, writing has several problems, especially for teaching staff or teachers in a school. Therefore, in this research, researchers will discuss the problems faced by teachers in learning writing at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Deli Serdang. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive method, the data collection method uses interviews and observation, interviews wera conducted with 4 Arabic language subject teachers who teach at the school and observation was used to observe the teacher`s difficulties in teaching writing to students and the efforts made by the teacher. The results of the research show that the problems in this school are 1) Limited knowledge of mufradat for students, 2) Educational background at the previous level which was not based on Islam, 3) Low interest and motivation of students in learning Arabic, especially writing. To overcome all these problems, the teachers made several efforts to facilitate good learning of the book, such as providing mufradat memorization at each meeting, giving imla` assignments, assigning students to answer question and writing them on the blackboard, and often providing motivation to arouse students` enthusiasm in study.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decline in student creativity in participating in learning and, therefore, the need for appropriate media for students. After being given comic-based teaching materials, the activities aimed to increase students' creativity in grade IV. The research method used is research and development (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementations, Evaluation). This comic-based teaching material has undergone validation tests by experts. The percentage of results from experts on this comic-based teaching material is very valid and practical, based on criteria from media experts and material experts. In addition, the student and teacher response questionnaires also show very valid and practical criteria. From the N-gain results, a score is obtained in the high category. Therefore, this study shows the influence of using comic teaching materials to increase creativity in learning fictional story texts. It can be proven that the results show an increase from the ineffective category to the effective category. The conclusion is that this comic-based teaching material is very suitable, practical, and effective for use in learning Indonesian in fictional story texts to improve the creativity of elementary school students. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya penurunan kreativitas peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, maka dari itu perlunya media yang tepat untuk peserta didik. Adapun kegiatan yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik di kelas IV setelah diberi bahan ajar berbasis komik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analisys, Design, Develovment, Implementations, Evaluation). Bahan ajar berbasis komik ini telah melakukan uji validasi oleh ahli. Persentase hasil dari para ahli terhadap bahan ajar berbasis komik ini mendapatkan kriteria sangat valid dan sangat praktis dari ahli media dan ahli materi. Selain itu angket respons peserta didik dan angket respons guru juga menunjukkan kriteria sangat valid dan sangat praktis. Dari hasil N-gain diperoleh skor pada kategori tinggi, oleh karena itu penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar komik untuk meningkatkan kreativitas pada pembelajaran teks cerita fiksi. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa hasil menunjukkan peningkatan dari kategori tidak efektif menjadi efektif. Adapun kesimpulannya bahwa bahan ajar berbasis komik ini sangat layak, praktis, dan efektif untuk di gunakan di dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada materi Teks cerita fiksi untuk meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik sekolah dasar.Kata Kunci: bahan ajar; bahasa Indonesia; komik; kreativitas peserta didik; media pembelajaran

Abstract

Sebagai pelajar dalam belajar berbahasa tentunya ingin mafhum dalam bahasa target tersebut, tetapi dalam hal ini menjadi kesulitan sebagian pelajar dalam berbicara menggunakan bahasa Arab, karena kurangnya kosa kata dan mengaplikasikan bahasa dengan lawan bicara. Persoalan utama yang ditelaah dan dipelajari dalam penelitian ini adalah tentang penerapan-penerapan komunikatif dengan melalui beberapa metode dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, dengan tujuan agar dalam berbahasa Arab mampu lebih mahir dalam berbahasa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yaitu studi pustaka yang diambil dari sumber kepustakaan berupa literatur-literatur jurnal, artikel yang relevan mengenai pendekatan komunikatif dalam bahasa Arab. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode-metode ini lebih menekankan kepada keterampilan menyimak dan berbicara. Hasil yang telah dibahas membuktikan bahwa terdapat beberapa pendekatan komunikatif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang memungkinkan pelajar akan mahir dalam berbahasa, diantaranya yaitu metode langsung, metode community language learning, dan metode percakapan. Ketiga metode tersebut merupakan pendekatan komunikatif dalam belajar bahasa asing, yaitu bahasa Arab yang menjadikan pelajar bahasa mampu akan mengaplikasikan bahasa yang ingin dicapai, yaitu bahasa Arab. Implikasi dari penelitian ini bahwa pelajar yang ingin mahir dalam berbahasa Arab merasa mudah dalam menggunakan ketiga metode tersebut.

Abstract

Mahārah kitābah merupakan keterampilan dalam menulis huruf Arab. Sebagai Mahasiswa tentunya mengetahui mengenai kaidah-kaidah kepenulisan huruf Arab. Tetapi dalam hal ini menjadi kesulitan sebagian Mahasiswa karena tidak memiliki teknik dasar dalam menuliskan huruf-huruf Arab dengan benar. Tidak hanya bahasa Indonesia saja yang memiliki kaidah kepenulisan, namun bahasa Arab juga memiliki kaidah kepenulisan, hal ini harus sangat diperhatikan oleh pembelajar mengenai kaidah kepenulisan huruf-huruf Arab. Persoalan utama yang dikaji adalah mengenai kesalahan penulisan huruf-huruf Arab pada suatu kata yang dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Metode ini menggunakan metode deskriftif dengan melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan wawancara dan uji tes kepada informan yaitu Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Arab dan dengan mengumpulan literature-literatur yang efisien. Hasil yang telah dibahas membuktikan bahwa terdapat Mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan dalam mahārah kitābah dengan benar, penulisannya sesuai dengan kaidah huruf-huruf Arab, dan terdapat Mahasiswa yang belum mampu menuliskan huruf-huruf Arab pada suatu kata sesuai dengan kaidah kepenulisan huruf-huruf Arab yang benar. Hal ini dikarenakan oleh beberapa factor yaitu factor internal dan eksternal.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan, guru sering melakukan berbagai cara untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran. Salah satunya adalah dengan menciptakan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menarik, agar siswa tidak merasa bosan selama proses belajar dan dapat merasakan suasana yang berbeda di setiap pertemuan. Kurangnya pemahaman kosa kata Bahasa arab siswa menjadi masalah dalam pembelajaran karena metode yang di gunakan kurang tepat atau tidak menarik, hal tersebut yang kemudian menjadi tantangan dan kendala bagi para pengajar. Pada penelitian kali ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa,memberikan kontribusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman kosa kata Bahasa arab siswa dan Untuk menyajikan puzzle maker sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan aplikatif bagi pengajar bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan model studi Pustaka yaitu dengan cara mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber akademik sebagai sumber datanya. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis puzzle maker merupakan salah satu inovasi dalam dunia pendidikan. Selain itu, penerapan metode ini juga memberikan dampak positif pada perkembangan kognitif siswa, seperti meningkatkan antusiasme mereka dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dan mempermudah pemahaman terhadap materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. In the world of education, teachers often use various methods to improve students' understanding of subject matter. One of them is by creating innovative and interesting learning media, so that students do not feel bored during the learning process and can experience a different atmosphere at each meeting. Students' lack of understanding of Arabic vocabulary becomes a problem in learning because the methods used are inappropriate or uninteresting, this then becomes a challenge and obstacle for teachers. This research aims to increase students' learning motivation, contribute to improving students' understanding of Arabic vocabulary and to present puzzle makers as an innovative and applicable alternative learning media for Arabic teachers. This research uses a qualitative research method with a library study model, namely by collecting data from various academic sources as the data source. The results of this research reveal that puzzle maker-based learning is one of the innovations in the world of education. Apart from that, the application of this method also has a positive impact on students' cognitive development, such as increasing their enthusiasm for learning and making it easier to understand the material presented by the teacher

Abstract

Arabic language learning often experiences obstacles, especially in understanding how students’ cognitive and affective aspects affect their ability to acquire, produce, and understand the language. This indicates the need to apply a multidisciplinary approach that can overcome these challenges. This study aims to examine the role of psycholinguistics in the development of Arabic language learning methods, focusing on students’ cognitive and affective aspects. The research approach used is Systematic Review (SR), by analyzing relevant articles from journals indexed through Google Scholar. The results of the study indicate that the application of psycholinguistics plays a crucial role in the development of Arabic language learning by understanding students’ learning processes and designing appropriate curricula and methods. Approaches such as Task-Based Learning (TBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), and Generative Transformative help create more active, communicative, and applicable learning according to students’ needs. In addition, linguistic theories such as structuralism, transformative-generative, and psycholinguistic-based balaghah enable more effective and relevant Arabic language teaching to students’ characteristics and cognitive development.

Abstract

Arabic is a language rich in vocabulary, but if studied there are some vocabulary words that are not from Arabic itself but are often pronounced with different vocabulary words but the meaning is the same. This is related to the Arabic lahjah (dialect) that develops. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between dialect (lahjah) and synonymity in Arabic. The method used in compiling the study of this journal discussion is a qualitative method and library research or literature study as a reference. The findings in the study are that the synonymity of Arabic can be caused by differences in times and regional differences. Along with the development of the times and the spread of Arabic throughout the world led to the emergence of new terms that refer to the same meaning in Arabic with different dialects. This is due to the openness of Arabic to other dialects of the language so as to bring up new words that have the same meaning or meaning and are widely used by Arabic users until now without recognizing the difference whether it is Arabic fusha or Amiyah.
