Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of students who have difficulty in learning Arabic. So the researcher raised the title related to "Causal Factors and Solutions to Arabic Learning Difficulties in Class XI IPS MAS Muhammadiyah 1 Medan". The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that cause students to have difficulty in learning Arabic and solutions or strategies in overcoming learning difficulties in Arabic. This research applies descriptive qualitative research methods with collection methods namely interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research obtained are found various factors, namely internal factors and external factors that cause students to feel difficulties in learning Arabic. Internal factors are divided into 2, namely first, physiological factors such as illness or disability. Second, psychological factors such as intelligence, talent, interest, motivation, mental health factors and special kinds of learners. While external factors include the family environment, school environment and community environment. The solution to overcome students' difficulties in learning Arabic at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 1 Medan is by using several learning media that are considered effective such as using audio-visual-based learning media, namely using learning videos or watching Arabic cartoons, applying ice breaking before starting learning, and playing games.

Abstract

Bahasa erat hubungannya dengan bias gender, karena bahasa mencerminkan dan membentuk pola pikir serta budaya masyarakat. Pembahasan bias gender tidak hanya dibahas di dalam kehidupan sosial saja, namun bias gender juga terdapat dalam buku ajar peserta didik. Persoalan utama yang ditelaah dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai bias gender yang terkandung di dalam buku ajar bahasa Arab Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Kelas VIII Karya Hasan Saefulloh dengan tujuan mengetahui bias gender yang terkandung dalam buku ajar tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yaitu dengan library research penelitian yang dilakukan berlandaskam karya-karya ilmiah, seperti jurnal, artikel, dan yang lain-lain, dimana sumber-sumber tersebut masih relevan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat bias gender di dalam buku ajar bahasa Arab Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Kelas VIII karya Hasan Safulloh  dari 7 materi tersebut ditemukan 4 bentuk bias gender, yaitu bias gender pada materi fahmu al-masmu’, fahmu al-maqru, at-ta’bir assyafawiy dan at-ta’bir tahriri.

Abstract

Dalam aspek kehidupan manusia hampir semua sudah dipengaruhi dan tidak bisa terlepas dari perkembangan digital. Salah satunya adalah dalam hal pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di era digital mengalami transformasi yang signifikan berkat kemajuan teknologi. Penelitian ini membahas peluang dan tantangan yang ditawarkan oleh teknologi digital dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa Arab, seperti akses ke sumber belajar yang lebih luas dan metode pembelajaran interaktif. Namun, tantangan seperti kesiapan guru dan infrastruktur yang tidak memadai juga dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur. erdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa meskipun teknologi memberikan banyak manfaat, perhatian terhadap tantangan yang ada sangat penting untuk mencapai hasil pembelajaran yang efektif dan efesien

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya partisipasi belajar pada siswa kelas X-3 Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 1 Medan, hal tersebut disebabkan oleh pembelajaran hanya berpusat pada penjelasan guru dan buku ajar walaupun sesekali menggunakan media, tidak adanya eksplorasi pengetahuan siswa membuat mereka cenderung menjadi pasif dan tidak tertarik untuk bertanya, mengemukakan pendapat dan menjawab pertanyaan, kurangnya kegiatan diskusi juga berdampak pada partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menyajikan suatu hal sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat dicapai dengan efektif dan efisien sesuai dengan harapan. Untuk hal ini, dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dapat menerapkan metode hiwār sebagai pendekatan inovatif untuk mendorong partisipasi siswa dengan mengajukan pertanyaan, pendapat dan menjawab pertanyaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode hiwār di kelas X-3 adalah siswa merasa senang dan tidak bosan, mereka aktif berpartisipasi saat ditunjuk untuk mempraktekkan metode hiwār yang membuat suasana kelas menjadi hidup dan pelajaran lebih mudah diterima oleh siswa. Dengan metode hiwār ini siswa akan terbiasa berbicara di depan umum dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri setiap siswa.

Abstract

pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran terjemahan bahasa Arab oleh siswa di MAS Al Fuad. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan memahami hambatan yang dihadapi, mengidentifikasi peluang untuk meningkatkan integrasi teknologi, serta memberikan rekomendasi aplikatif guna memaksimalkan penggunaan inovasi digital dalam proses pembelajaran terjemahan bahasa Arab. enelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus untuk menggambarkan penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran terjemahan bahasa Arab di MAS Al Fuad. Informan penelitian adalah 106 siswa kelas 12 IPA 1, 2, dan 3. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dan angket yang mengukur persepsi serta tingkat pemanfaatan teknologi digital oleh siswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif menggunakan persentase dan rata-rata untuk mengidentifikasi pola penggunaan dan persepsi siswa terhadap inovasi digital dalam pembelajaran. Hasil observasi dan respons angket dianalisis tematik untuk menemukan tantangan dan peluang dalam penerapan inovasi digital.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sudah sebanyak Sebanyak 60% siswa sering sekali menggunakan teknologi digital seperti aplikasi penerjemahan (Google Translate atau Quranic Apps) dan platform pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa inovasi digital memiliki peran penting dalsam pembelajaran terjemahan bahasa Arab di MAS Al Fuad, dengan tingkat adopsi yang cukup tinggi di kalangan siswa dan guru. Mayoritas siswa merasa teknologi digital membantu mereka memahami materi terjemahan lebih cepat dan meningkatkan minat belajar.

Abstract

Interest in learning plays a very important role in learning, especially Arabic. When students' interest in learning decreases in a learning process, it becomes one of the problems faced by educators, and becomes a challenge for teachers to create a learning atmosphere that is of interest to students. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence students' interest in learning at MTS Ira Medan. The method used in this study was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observations and documentation. The results of the study showed that there were several factors that influenced students' interest in learning Arabic at MTS Ira Medan, which were divided into external and internal factors. motivation or desire to learn, students' ability to understand the material and students' attention, while external factors were the background of Arabic language education, the teacher's teaching method, the relationship between educators and students, the learning media used and the students' friendship environment at school

Abstract

Arabic is a subject in religious schools. As time goes by, the media used for learning Arabic increases in accordance with the times, especially in the digital era now making technology-based media is a common thing. The purpose of this research is to explain how the opportunities and challenges of learning Arabic in the technological era. This research is a qualitative research with the aim to identify and analyze the opportunities and challenges of Arabic language in the technological era. Through literature study, by collecting data from various sources of documentation such as printed books and scientific journal articles. The results of this study indicate that there are many opportunities for learning Arabic in this technological era, namely 1) Creating a more interesting learning process, 2) more innovative learning 3) The creation of learning methods that adjust the material, method, and speed 4) Creating a high learning spirit. While the challenges are 1) inadequate infrastructure, 2) The maturity of an educator, and 3) Data Security.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the role of the Language Acquisition Device (LAD) theory in second language acquisition within the context of Arabic language learning through a psycholinguistic perspective. Using a descriptive qualitative research method and a literature review approach, this research analyzes various relevant primary and secondary sources. The findings reveal that Noam Chomsky's LAD theory significantly impacts second language acquisition, particularly Arabic. LAD serves as an innate mechanism enabling humans to acquire languages naturally. In the context of Arabic learning, the implementation of LAD theory encompasses three primary factors: motivation, language, and social aspects. Psycholinguistic studies reveal that cognitive processes such as memory and information processing play pivotal roles in acquiring Arabic. This study also found that communicative-based learning approaches, using real-life contexts and social interaction with native speakers, are effective strategies in Arabic language learning. The integration of technology and project-based learning can enrich students' learning experiences. In conclusion, a deeper understanding of LAD theory and its application in Arabic language learning can contribute significantly to the development of more effective teaching methods, enabling students to master Arabic more efficiently in an increasingly complex global context.     Keywords: language acquisition device, psycholinguistics, arabic language learning, second language acquisition.

Abstract

Arabic language learning often faces the challenge of low student interest, especially because it is considered difficult to understand letters, vocabulary, and grammar. Monotonous traditional learning approaches tend to make students feel bored and less involved in the learning process. To overcome this, the game-based learning method is applied as an innovative strategy to create a more interactive and fun learning atmosphere. This study aims to analyze the application of game-based learning in increasing students' interest in learning class VIII-6 at MTs Darul Ulum Budi Agung. By using descriptive qualitative method, the research data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation during the learning process. The focus of the research included changes in students' attitudes, increased understanding of vocabulary (mufrodat), and the learning atmosphere created through educational games. The results showed that this method significantly increased students' interest in learning. Games such as flashcards and matching games help students understand vocabulary more easily and increase their engagement in learning. In addition, the classroom atmosphere became more dynamic and collaborative, encouraging previously passive students to participate more actively. In conclusion, game-based learning is an effective approach to increase interest in learning Arabic in junior high school. This method can be used as a relevant alternative learning model to face challenges in learning Arabic in various educational contexts.

Abstract

Penerjemahan adalah proses mengalihkan makna suatu bahasa ke bahasa lain yang memerlukan keahlian multidisipliner, termasuk penguasaan semantik, pragmatik, sosiolinguistik, dan budaya. Keahlian ini sangat penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, terutama dalam menerjemahkan teks yang membutuhkan pemahaman mendalam terhadap kaidah bahasa dan konteks budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa SMP IT Addurrah dalam menerjemahkan teks Arab ke bahasa Indonesia dan mengidentifikasi solusi pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mereka. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengungkap hambatan utama, seperti keterbatasan kosakata, kesulitan membaca tanpa harakat, pemahaman budaya Arab yang minim, dan perbedaan struktur kalimat. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan metode Tamyiz yang menggabungkan Quantum Nahwu-Shorof dan neurolinguistic, serta metode Gramatika Terjemah untuk memperdalam pemahaman kaidah bahasa Arab, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penerjemahan siswa secara efektif
