In this type of online gambling, players must first choose a betting table before entering and choosing one of the many options available. Therefore, the loser will pay the bet according to the agreed amount. The formulation of the research problems are as follows: 1) How is electronic slot gambling regulated in criminal law? 2) Is it possible to bring charges against online gambling actors under the Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) Act?. This research uses normative research methodology and data collection strategies for literature studies. According to the findings of his study, the Criminal Code does not clearly regulate the rules for electronic-based slot gambling, but the regulatory changes have provided a legal framework for the ITE Law. As a result, it is certain that online gambling players will face sanctions based on Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, namely Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions.

This study aims to analyze the settlement of defaults in steel construction services projects between PT Indotrans Construction, PT Bima Agung, and PT Duta Mas, which are discussed in Decision Number 394/Pdt.G/2021 PN Smg. The research method used is a normative legal research method with statutory, case conceptual, and qualitative analysis approaches. The results of the study show that Decision Number 394/Pdt.G/2021 PN Smg is in accordance with the principles of contract law. The legal consequences experienced by PT Bima Agung and PT Duta Mas Indah as the defendants who were declared in default by the panel of judges were required to pay for the losses suffered by the plaintiffs.

The objective of this research was to determine the trait variance in black soybean lines in terms of yield and yield components. The materials used were F8 lines generated from hybridization of two local varieties, i.e. black seeded Ceneng and greenish yellow seeded Godek, and then selected under single seed descent method, except SC-39-1, SC-62-2 and GC-74-7 that were generated through bulk selection method. The results showed that the traits between plant genotypes were significantly different, except number of productive node and number of unfilled pod. Total variance was contributed more by number of filled pod, seed weight per plant and 100 seed weight. Seed weight per plant and 100 seed weight had high heritability with genetic variance and broad-sense heritability which were significantly different from zero. These characters are important for further selection to improve yields of black soybean lines.Keywords: black soybean lines, broad sense heritability, total variance

Bacterial wilt and fruit cracking are serious problems in tomatoes cultivation in the lowland area. This research aimed to evaluate the yield of M4 generation of tomatoes in the field and the incidence of bacterial wilt disease and fruit cracking in low altitude. The research was conducted at the IPB Experimental Field in Leuwikopo, Dramaga, Bogor, from December 2015 to April 2016. The experiment used a randomized complete block design with three replications. The material consisted of 15 M4 genotypes and two controls (Berlian and Kefaminano 6). The results showed that genotype of M4/495 Lombok 1-9-2 (U2) has high productivity. Genotype M4/990 Lombok 1-5-1 (U1) has high weight per fruit and resistant to fruit cracking. Genotype M4/495 GL2-8-10 (U2), M4/495 Kemir 1- 4-7 (U3), M4/495 STBGL 1-2-3 (U1) M4/990 Lombok 1-5-1 (U1), and M4/495 STBGL 1-2-9 (U1) have the lowest incidence of bacterial wilt (0.00%). Two genotypes which have high productivity and resistant to fruit cracking are M4/495 Lombok 1-9-2 (U2) and M4/990 Lombok 1-5-1 (U1), and to be evaluated in a preliminary yield trial.

ABSTRACT Sorghum is one of the potential foods with a higher protein content than rice. Sorghum seeds can be milled and cooked as sorghum rice. This study was aimed to obtain information on the inheritance of morphological and agronomic characters from the population derived from crosses of wide genetic background. The study consisted of the formation of F1 population and evaluation of morphological and agronomic characters in the segregated population (F2) of the three selected F1 genotypes. The location of the research was at IPB Experimental Field, Leuwikopo. The performance of the F1 genotypes were between the two parents, except for the yield components of PI-150-20-A x Numbu and PI-150-20-A x Kawali were higher than the parental lines. The performance of the F2 generation population was also between the parental lines, but with a wider distribution. The sorghum seed color is controlled not only by additive and dominant gene action, but also by epistatic gene action. The character of seed weight per panicle is controlled by epistatic gene action. In the F2 population of the crosses of PI-150-20-A x Numbu and PI-150-20-A x Kawali and PI-10-90-A x Numbu, the seed weight character is inherited with moderate heritability value. Based on genes action dan heritability, bulk or single seed descent method are suitable for yield improvement of the populations.Keywords: gene action, heritability, seed color, segregation, sorghum

Dampak suhu tinggi pada pertumbuhan dan produktivitas padi dapat dikurangi dengan menanam varietas toleran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh informasi tentang kendali genetik karakter hasil populasi bersegregasi padi pada dua tingkat stress suhu tinggi serta mengidentifikasi genotipe toleran. Penelitian dilakukan dari Agustus 2016 hingga Februari 2017. Saat fase vegetatif maksimum tetua dan populasi F3 diperlakukan di bawah dua kondisi suhu, yaitu di lantai jemur dan rumah kaca dengan suhu maksimum dan minimum rata-rata masing-masing 38.89/22,67 °C dan 41.62/23.32 °C. Karakter yang diamati adalah hasil dan komponen hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi suhu tinggi mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan hasil pada tetua dan populasi F3. Terdapat keragaman karakter agronomi padi pada kondisi cekaman suhu tinggi. Jumlah gabah isi per malai adalah satu-satunya karakter yang dikendalikan oleh aksi gen aditif dengan nilai heritabilitas tergolong tinggi pada cekaman suhu di lantai jemur dan dalam rumah kaca sehingga karakter ini dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi individu toleran pada generasi awal. Terdapat 13 individu yang toleran terhadap cekaman suhu tinggi berdasarkan nilai SSI. Karakter bobot gabah isi dikendalikan oleh gen-gen non aditif sehingga dianjurkan seleksi untuk peningkatan bobot gabah isi dilakukan pada generasi lanjut. Metode SSD direkomendasikan sebagai metode untuk perbaikan toleransi terhadap suhu tinggi dikombinasikan dengan metode shuttle breeeding. Kata kunci: fertilitas, indeks, perubahan iklim, toleran

Periode panen pendek atau masak polong serempak adalah salah satu fokus utama dalam pemuliaan tanaman kacang hijau. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi keragaan tanaman dan keserempakan panen kacang hijau generasi F4 hasil seleksi persilangan VR480B × Vima. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Bengkaung, Kabupaten Lombok Barat pada bulan Maret sampai dengan Juni 2021. Materi genetik adalah populasi F4 dan genotipe pembanding VR480B dan Vima 1. Penanaman dilakukan berdasarkan rancangan untuk populasi bersegregasi dan pengamatan dilakukan terhadap semua individu. Populasi F4 memiliki keragaman pada semua kualitatif kecuali tipe tumbuh, kebiasaan membelit dan warna garis tautan polong. Populasi F4 juga memiliki tinggi tanaman, umur panen pertama, periode panen, dan bobot biji per tanaman yang beragam. Sebanyak 140 genotipe F4 memiliki periode panen lebih singkat dari kedua tetua. Hasil seleksi populasi F4 berdasarkan periode panen dan bobot biji per tanaman menunjukkan sebanyak 24 genotipe berpotensi memiliki periode panen 3.55 hari lebih singkat dan bobot biji 4.56 g dibandingkan populasi F4 awal, sehingga berpotensi diteruskan pada siklus pemuliaan berikutnya. Kacang hijau merupakan salah satu komoditi pangan penting di Indonesia. Perbaikan varietas kacang hijau diperlukan sebagai upaya untuk mendapatkan varietas unggul kacang hijau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menduga respon seleksi serta mengkorfirmasi segregan transgresif pada generasi F4 hasil persilangan kacang hijau. Percobaan dilakukan pada bulan Februari hingga Mei 2021 di kebun percobaan Leuwikopo IPB, Bogor, Jawa Barat (275 m dpl). Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan perbesaran (augmented design) dalam rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak (RKLT) yang terdiri atas 60 famili F4 hasil persilangan VR10 x Vima 1 serta 6 varietas pembanding. Seleksi berdasarkan karakter bobot biji per tanaman dan tinggi tanaman menghasilkan 12 galur yang memiliki bobot biji dan keragaan tanaman yang tinggi. Karakter bobot polong dan bobot biji per tanaman memiliki nilai respon seleksi yang tinggi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya 4 segregan transgresif berdasarkan karakter bobot biji per tanaman dan tinggi tanaman. Analisis genetik dan pola pewarisan pada karakter agronomi dan hasil diperlukan dalam merencanakan program pemuliaan dan seleksi yang akan dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai keragaan agronomi dan hasil, aksi gen, keragaman genetik dan heritabilitas pada populasi F2 hasil persilangan varietas lokal dengan varietas berdaya hasil tinggi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Agustus-November 2021 di Dramaga, Bogor. Material genetik yang digunakan adalah populasi F2, tetua betina dan jantan serta sepuluh genotipe pembanding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakter kualitatif pada F2 cenderung lebih mirip tetua betina. Karakter hari berbunga, tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, panjang daun, panjang dan diameter malai, bobot malai basah dan kering dikendalikan oleh sedikit gen dengan aksi gen aditif. Karakter jumlah dan lebar daun serta bobot biji per malai dikendalikan oleh aksi gen epistasis komplementer. Bobot basah dan kering malai berkorelasi positif (0.9 dan 0.95) dengan bobot biji per malai dengan nilai h2bs (0%). Karakter panjang dan diameter malai dapat digunakan untuk seleksi tidak langsung karena kedua karakter berkorelasi positif (0.67 dan 0.7) dengan bobot biji per malai serta memiliki h2bs tinggi (90 dan 80%). Indonesia has a vast territory, most of which consists of the sea. Indonesia's strength lies in its natural resources, particularly the abundant marine resources, especially in incredibly diverse fisheries. With the many benefits received by the Indonesian nation, it also brings issues such as limited surveillance capabilities at sea and Indonesia's strategically located territory that can provide opportunities for the exploitation of marine resources by irresponsible parties, particularly the most frequent criminal activity, which is illegal fishing by foreign parties, resulting in significant losses for the country. The problem statement encompasses two aspects for examination: firstly, whether Indonesia's act of sinking Malaysian-flagged vessels can be justified based on the 2012 Memorandum of Understanding between Indonesia and Malaysia; secondly, the legal efforts Indonesia must undertake to defend its territorial sovereignty from illegal fishing activities by foreign fishing vessels. The research method used was normative legal research, examining from the perspective of positive law. The research findings reveal discrepancies in Indonesia's actions of sinking Malaysian-flagged vessels based on the 2012 Memorandum of Understanding. Consequently, Indonesia has fulfilled its obligations as stipulated in the Fisheries Law. However, this fulfillment of obligations occurred without prior investigation into the previously agreed bilateral agreements.
