This study aimed to produce a set of PISA-like mathematics problems content of uncertainty and data using long jump context in Asian Games that were valid, practical and had potential effects on the ability of the students’ mathematical literacy. This study used the design research method of development studies type in two stages, preliminary and formative evaluation. The subject of this study involved 34 students of Senior High School. The result of this study was a set of PISA-like mathematics problems using long jump context in Asian Games which were valid, practical, and had potential effects. The result of students’ answer analysis showed some strategies and arguments used by students. In question 1, 3 out of 34 students were involved in representation, reasoning and argument ability, 31 out of 34 students were involved in reasoning and argument ability. In question 2, 30 out of 34 students were involved in representation and reasoning and argument ability, and 4 out of 34 students were involved in communication, representation, reasoning and argument ability. Also, using the PISA-like mathematics problems with long jump context made students more interested and active during the learning process.

This study aims to produce valid and practical PISA-like mathematics problems of uncertainty and data content by using soft tennis and volleyball contexts in Asian Games. It also aims to find out the potential effect of the problems on students' mathematical literacy. The method used in this study was design research with the type of development studies. The validity was viewed from expert assessment regarding the content, constructs, language, and students’ comments to the clarity of the problems in the one-to-one phase. Then, the practicality was viewed in the small group phase, and it was found that the students could understand the problem well. Based on the answers from 33 tenth-grade students of senior high school, it was found that the problems had potential effects that arouse the ability to use symbolic, formal, and technical language, as well as the ability of operation, communication, and representation. With the problem of the soft tennis context, five students could apply the ability to use symbolic, formal, and technical language, and operations, 12 students could apply representation ability, and 16 students could apply the communication ability. Meanwhile, with the problem of the volleyball context, 18 students could apply the communication ability, and nine students could apply the representation ability.

Banyak siswa kesulitan memahami konsep laju karena pembelajaran masih bersifat teoritis dan kurang relevan dengan pengalaman mereka. Sehingga penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menghasilkan learning trajectory materi laju menggunakan konteks membajak sawah. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP negeri di Belitang. Pengumpulan data melalui lembar aktivitas siswa dan lembar observasi. Penelitian menggunakan design research tipe validation studies yang terdiri dari tiga tahap penelitian yakni preparation experiment, design experiment dan retrospective analysis. Penelitian memberikan hasil bahwa learning trajectory materi laju terdiri dari tiga tahapan yakni mengeksplorasi kegiatan membajak sawah dengan mencari perbandingan antara luas sawah dengan waktu membajak sawah; menentukan satuan dari luas sawah dengan waktu membajak sawah, dan mendiskusikan definisi laju serta melakukan penyelesaian masalah tentang laju. Konteks membajak sawah memudahkan siswa untuk memahami konsep laju secara lebih konkret dan aplikatif. Melalui hasil penelitian ini memberikan masukan bahwa dalam mengajarkan materi laju, perlu mengintegrasikan dengan konteks realistic yang berada disekitar siswa. Many students have difficulty understanding the concept of rate because learning is still theoretical and less relevant to their experience. So, this research is aimed at producing a learning trajectory for rate material using the context of plowing rice fields. This research involved class VII students at one of the state junior high schools in Belitang. Data collection through student activity sheets and observation sheets. The research uses validation studies type design research which consists of three research stages, namely preparation experiment, design experiment and retrospective analysis. The research shows that the learning path for rate material consists of three stages, namely exploring the activity of plowing rice fields by finding a comparison between the area of the rice field and the time for plowing the field, determining the unit of area of the rice field with the time for plowing the field, and discussing the definition of rate and solving problems regarding rate. The context of plowing rice fields makes it easier for students to understand the concept of rate in a more concrete and applicable way. The results of this research provide input that in teaching rate material, it is necessary to integrate it with realistic contexts that surround students.

Literasi statistik merupakan keterampilan penting, terutama bagi calon guru yang akan mengajarkan konsep-konsep statistik kepada siswa. Namun, banyak calon guru yang kesulitan dalam memahami dan menerapkan konsep statistik secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji secara sistematis temuan-temuan terdahulu mengenai penggunaan Learning Trajectory (LT) dalam pembelajaran literasi statistik bagi calon guru, guna merancang kerangka pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur dan aplikatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) berdasarkan model Xiao & Watson, yang mencakup tiga tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan tinjauan. Artikel diperoleh dari database Education Resource Information Centre (ERIC), melalui proses seleksi bertahap yang terdiri dari penyaringan kualitas, penyaringan kelayakan, dan penyaringan relevansi, hingga diperoleh 7 artikel akhir dari 31 artikel awal. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah thematic coding untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan kesenjangan dalam penelitian sebelumnya. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa learning trajectory berpotensi besar dalam meningkatkan pemahaman statistik calon guru dengan menyelaraskan pembelajaran secara progresif, meskipun integrasi konteks lokal dan fokus eksplisit pada calon guru masih jarang ditemukan. Kesimpulannya, learning trajectory yang dirancang secara kontekstual dapat menjadi jembatan antara teori dan praktik dalam pembelajaran literasi statistik untuk calon guru. Statistical literacy is an essential skill, particularly for prospective teachers who will be responsible for teaching statistical concepts to students. However, many prospective teachers struggle to understand and effectively apply these concepts. This study aims to systematically examine previous findings on the use of Learning Trajectories (LT) in statistical literacy instruction for prospective teachers, to design a more structured and applicable instructional framework. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the Xiao & Watson model, which consists of three stages: planning, conducting, and reporting the review. Articles were sourced from the Education Resource Information Centre (ERIC) database through a multi-step selection process involving quality screening, eligibility screening, and relevancy screening, resulting in a final sample of 7 articles out of an initial 31. Thematic coding was used to identify patterns and gaps in prior research. The results indicate that learning trajectories hold significant potential to enhance prospective teachers’ statistical understanding by supporting progressive learning; however, the integration of local contexts and a specific focus on prospective teachers remain limited. In conclusion, contextually designed learning trajectories can serve as a bridge between theory and practice in statistical literacy instruction for prospective teachers.

Contrast to the shared task at the beginning of mathematics lesson, jumping task is the central part of the teaching that uses higher order thinking skills (HOTs) in Japan. In Indonesia, the curriculum 2013 revised stress on how to use HOTs in the mathematics lesson, the daily life context, and collaborative learning. The goal of this research to know the characteristics of the jumping task which valid, practical and useful supporting primary school students learning percents. This research uses design research as a method. In designing the content materials and their contexts, this research uses PMRI (Indonesian version of Realistic Mathematics Education instructional theory. Moreover, in the designing and implementing learning process, this research use lesson study for learning community (LSLC). Results of this research are valid and practical jumping tasks on mathematics topic percents. Students with low performance have difficulties in solving jumping tasks. However, with collaborative learning, students can answer the percent jumping tasks.

This Researchâ€™s purpose is producing questions/case study in direct proportion topic focused on Map and Model, and analyse studentsâ€™ answer in solving these arranged questions through lesson study for learning community (LSLC) and PMRI approach using problem based learning (PBL) method. Research subject are students of grade VII of Junior High School 1 Palembang. From this research, it results a LKPD questions about direct proportion in Map and Model that consist of three cases, such as determine new scale from known scale in problem solving (C2), determine size of Limas House miniature from known scale and sizes in problem solving (C3), and check for errors from a given comparison in problem solving (C4). Based on the results of the analysis of Students answer small group, the average score obtained by students in problem 1 (sharing task) is 73.5, problem 2 (sharing task) average student score is 55, and average student score in problem 3 (jumping task) is 48.5. So these three problems are well-billed and can be used to the next stage of the field test.

In Indonesia, the right to education for children with special needs has been regulated in the Law, this shows that the opportunity to obtain education is a right that must be fulfilled by the state, without exception for children with special needs, one of which is autism. Autism is also called autism spectrum disorder because even though it has varying symptoms, these symptoms are under the same umbrella of problems, namely social interaction, communication and behavior. In self-development of autistic children, there are work skills which discuss recognizing the value of currency well and one of the therapies that can be done for autistic children is play therapy. The monopoly game is an alternative to introduce the value of currency to autistic students by modifying the monopoly according to the needs of autistic students. The activity was attended by 79 participants and was carried out online. At the end of the activity, participants were able to understand how to introduce the value of currency to autistic students through games using the PMRI approach. The constraint on reasoning ability among Indonesian mathematics students is a pressing issue. Several study results show that students' low mathematical reasoning is due to a lack of conceptual understanding of the material being studied. Probability is one of the materials that can help mathematical reasoning. There is a sample space that requires students' reasoning ability to determine all possible outcomes. This study aims to design a microlearning-based learning on probability material using the culinary tourism context of Prabumulih City that is integrated into student worksheet, which is valid and practical to help students learn the probability in phase E and train their reasoning skills by PMRI (Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education). This study was a qualitative method of development study type, consisting of two stages: preliminary study and formative evaluation. The subject of this study was 36 tenth-grade. The data collection techniques were observation, tests, and interviews, which were analyzed descriptively. This research produced a student worksheet that was valid and practical and integrated with microlearning media (comic, video) on probability material using the culinary tourism context of Prabumulih City, Indonesia. Based on data analysis, this worksheet can improve students' conceptual understanding and reasoning abilities.

Proportional reasoning is a crucial skill that students need to master to achieve success in learning mathematics at both the elementary and secondary levels. This study aimed to identify the strategies junior high school students used when solving proportional reasoning problems related to ratios and proportions. This qualitative descriptive research was conducted on six seventh-grade students at a junior high school in Belitang, selected through purposive sampling. Data was collected using tests and interviews and analyzed descriptively. Data validity was ensured through triangulation techniques. The findings revealed that students with low abilities used a repeated addition strategy to solve proportional reasoning problems. Meanwhile, students with medium abilities employed the multiplication strategy but occasionally made errors using the additive strategy—students with high abilities predominantly used multiplicative strategies. The study suggests that students with medium abilities do not consistently apply proper proportional reasoning strategies, highlighting a need for further research into their solution approaches. In addition, it is essential to design learning activities that specifically target the improvement of proportional reasoning skills for students with lower abilities, given the critical role this skill plays in mathematics education at both the primary and secondary levels.

This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to explore the development of statistical literacy among prospective teachers, which is crucial in today’s data-driven educational landscape. The review synthesizes findings from 18 selected studies published between 2015 and 2024, focusing on various pedagogical approaches, challenges in implementation, and strategies for enhancing statistical literacy instruction. Current approaches and best practices include inquiry-based learning, real-world data applications, and interactive digital tools. These approaches aim to engage prospective teachers in authentic statistical experiences, which can enhance their ability to teach statistical concepts effectively. The study identifies key themes in statistical literacy education using a comprehensive methodology that includes defining research questions and establishing inclusion and exclusion criteria. Key findings reveal four primary research themes: strategies for teaching statistical literacy, competencies needed for prospective teachers, educational contexts, and the role of technology in statistical learning. The review also identifies significant gaps in the existing literature, particularly related to effective curriculum integration and the specific challenges educators face. This SLR contributes to the ongoing discourse on educational statistical literacy, providing a foundation for future research and practical applications in teacher preparation.
