Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan ,budaya kerja dan remunerasi terhadap kepuasan kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja di UPT BBKP Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk (1) Menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja (2) Menganalisis budaya kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja (3) Menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai (4) Menganalisis budaya kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai (5) Menganalisis remunerasi terhadap kepuasan kerja (6) Menganalisis kepuasan kerja terhadapÃ‚Â kinerja pegawai (7) Menganalisis remunerasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Sampel yang digunakan untuk menjawab permasalahan yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 106 data responden dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Besarnya hasil goodness of fitÃ‚Â untuk nilai Chi Square = 574,85 dengan probabilitas sebesar 0,28. dan indeks kelayakan lainya berada dalam rentang yang diharapkan kecuali GFI dan AGFI namun hal ini masih membuktikan bahwa model ini dapat diterima. Dalam penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, budaya kerja dan kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh langsung lebih besar dari pada pengaruh tidak langsung dan terdapat nilai negatife yakni pengaruh. remunerasi terhadapa kinerja. Sehingga dapat simpulkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dengan budaya kerja sangat mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai di UPT BBKP Surabaya

Background: The elderly population will keep growing in Indonesia. Decreased body function in elderly will affect their healthârelated quality of life. The aim of this study was to know the correlation between physical activity level and healthârelated quality of life among elderlyMethods: A cross-sectional analytical study was conducted from September to November 2014 in Panti Sosial Tresna Wredha Budi Pertiwi. The level of physical activity was measured with General Practice Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPPAQ) and healthârelated quality of life using the 36âItem Short Form Health Survey version 2 (SFâ36v2). There were 14 out of 29 female elderly who met the inclusion criteria. The data were collected using validated questionnaires and tested with simple linear regression.Results: The physical activity level includes one inactive, three moderately inactives, eight moderately actives, and two actives. The average score of the healthârelated quality of life was 41.121Â±8.88 for the physical component scale (below average) and 57.629Â±7.54 (above average) for the mental component scale. No significant correlation was found between the level of physical activity with the physical component scale (pâvalue = 0.731) and mental component scale (pâvalue = 0.901).Conclusions: The most frequently found physical activity level is the moderately active level. The score for the physical component scale is under average, while the mental component scale is above average. There is no correlation between the physical activity level and healthârelated quality of life for the physical component scale and the mental component scale. Multicollinearity and outliers existence in data can be detected by various techniques. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is one of the statistical techniques that can be used to handle data reduction and multicollinearity problem. However, PCA is very sensitive to outliers as it based on the mean and the covariance matrix. Hubert et al. (2005) developed ROBPCA, a robust PCA to the outliers existence. The ROBPCA combines PP technique and Minimum Covariant Determinant (MCD) method for solving outliers problem. In the present study, ROBPCA is applied to the study case of the regression analysis of infant mortality rate in East Java Province in 2009. The result shows that ROBPCA is more robust compare to PCA when data contains outlier. ROBPCA can explain 85.6 percent of variation by 2 principal components, whereas, PCA needs 3 principal components to explain 86.6 percent of variation. Moreover, ROBPCA produces higher coefficient determination which means the regression model using ROBPCA is better in explaining response variable. The study findings also revealed that the average of duration of exclusive breastfeeding has the largest contribution in lowering infant mortality rate followed by percentage of delivery assisted by medical provider and percentage of households that have access to safe drinking water.

Menggigil pascaoperasi merupakan komplikasi dari efek anestesi yang cukup sering dijumpai. Menggigil ini dapat menimbulkan rasa tidak nyaman dan risiko yang tidak baik bagi pasien. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui angka kejadian dan karakteristik pasien menggigil pascaoperasi. Studi deskriptif ini melibatkan seluruh pasien pascaoperasi di ruang pemulihan COT RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin pada periode bulan Agustus-Oktober 2015 yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Data penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dari rekam medis yang berupa data lengkap mengenai pasien pascaoperasi. Dari 639 pasien, angka kejadian menggigil adalah 169 kasus (26,45%).  Menggigil pascaoperasi lebih banyak terjadi pada pria yaitu sebanyak 28,57% dan kategori usia lansia awal. Proporsi pasien menggigil yang diberikan teknis anestesi umum saat operasi hampir sama dibandingkan anestesi regional. Presentase paling tinggi 43,75% pada pasien yang menjalani operasi >2 jam dengan 44,69% diberikan cairan infus sebanyak ≥1500 mL. Menggigil pascaoperasi paling banyak terjadi pada pasien yang menjalani operasi bedah saraf dengan presentase 66,67%. Angka kejadian menggigil pascaoperasi cukup tinggi terutama pada pria, kategori usia lansia awal, operasi yang lama, pemberian cairan infus yang banyak, serta operasi bedah saraf. Kata kunci: Angka kejadian, karakteristik, menggigil pascaoperasi, ruang pemulihan Prevalence and Characteristics of Post-anesthetic Shivering in Recovery Room COT RSHS from August to October 2015Post-anesthetic shivering is a common complication of anesthetic effect. Shivering may cause discomfort and unfavorable risks towards patients.This research aims to reveal the incidence and patient characteristics of post anesthetic shivering. This descriptive study involved post-operative patients in recovery room COT Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital from August to October 2015 who fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Medical records comprising complete post-operative patients’ data were used as secondary data source for this study. Among 639 patients, shivering omLurred in 169 cases (26.45%). Post-anestheric shivering omLurred more in males (28.57%) and in pre elderly age. Proportion of post-anesthetic shivering patients was relatively same in patients who weregiven general anesthesia technique compared to regional anesthesia. Highest percentage omLurred in patients who underwent >2 hours of surgery (43.75%) and administered ≥1500 mL of intravenous (IV) fluids (44.69%). Postanesthetic shivering omLurred the most to neurosurgery patients (66.67%). Post-anesthetic shivering incidence in this study is relatively high, particularly in males, pre elderly age, general, longer operation duration, more administration of (IV) fluids and neurosurgery patients. Effective and efficient is a way to facilitate the public in conducting activities, for example in terms of opening doors that are large, requires a lot of time and energy. Using Arduino, Android and PIR sensors are designed to make a protoype controlling automatic doors are controlled via Android via Bluetooth HC - 06 and can work automatically with the response detected by the PIR sensor. PIR sensors and Arduino serves as an input and as an output stepper motors to open and close the door. The working principle of this automatic door is in an android installed a software to control a door that has two modes. If the manual mode is activated, the door opens only when controlled using Android, when the automatic mode is activated the door will open when the sensor has detected the temperature of the human body that moves the door will open. The maximum distance control door is 1-50 meters in open space , but in a closed space that is controlling the maximum distance of 45 meters.

In the teaching and learning process, the speaking skill of German language is still difficult to master. The fact shows that most learners still rarely use German language either in the classroom situation or in the real life. From the research conducted by Nurhani (2007) it is found that one alternative method of learning which can increase university students’ participation is the interactive method. One of the main features of this method is the group division which divided a group into large and small group. In this group the interaction between students can be increase. Based on that explanation, this research will developed a certain learning model which can increase the German speaking skill of university students. Few important results from this research are as follow: (1) the model is new to the German Department of UPI, (2) after implementing it three times, both lecturers and students are familiar with the situation developed and the discussion become more attractive and conducive in increasing the students skill especially in speaking, (3) the themes provided are still lack of variation and the lecturer roles as the facilitator of the discussion still needed to be developed, (4) this method can increase the students participation in the teaching and learning process, (5) it is recognized that lecturer have to develop a certain strategy in delivering the model of learning in speaking through the discussion technique, (6) by using Einstieg (introduction), the students are not only capable in knowing the coverage of the theme, but they also can identify the vocabulary and also the terms related to the theme. This will make the discussion more dynamic, (7) lecturer at least has to consider three aspects in group division: first the student’s competency, it means that all students with high learning achievement are spread into all group. Second, the time in making the groups. Third the class setting, (8) in the class discussion phase, lecturer must to be able to manage the class situation so that the discussion is not monopolize by few students.

Aerobic physical activity is known to induce skeletal muscle adaptation. Some genes, including MyoD, are known to have a major role in the process of muscle adaptation. Several studies has stated that the expression of MyoD increases during the aerobic activity process; however, the studies were carried out in a single bout. Studies on the effects of acute phase exercise (<2 weeks) are still rare, especially those regarding the difference effect of acute training phase at different times. This study was performed in 2018 at the Central Laboratory and Animal Physiology Laboratory, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Padjadjaran. The aim of this study was to determine the different effects of MyoD gene expression in a two-week acute aerobic physical activity. The effects were measured in the skeletal muscle in day 3, 7, and 14 of the activity. Twenty four male rats (rattus novergicus) were divided into 4 groups. Those rats in the treatment groups were run on an animal treadmill (P1=3 days, P2=7 days, and P3=14 days). On the last day of ran, rats were sacrificed and the soleus and gastrocnemius muscles were dissected. The expression of the MyoD gene in both muscles was then amplified using reversed PCR and detected by agarose gel electrophoresis. This study showed that there were differencesin MyoD gene expression levels in both muscles and that the level increased with days of treatment, although it was statistically insignificant. This study concludes that the MyoD gene expression level is not significantly affected by an acute aerobic physical activity in certain periods (3, 7 and 14 days).Key words: Acute, Aerobic physical activity, gastrocnemius, MyoD, rats, soleus Perbedaan Pengaruh Aktivitas Aerobik Akut Intensitas Sedang terhadap Ekspresi Gen MyoD pada Otot Rangka Tikus Galur WistarAktivitas fisik aerobik diketahui menginduksi adaptasi otot rangka. Beberapa gen diketahui memiliki peran utama dalam proses adaptasi otot termasuk MyoD. Dalam beberapa penelitian diketahui bahwa ekspresi MyoD meningkat selama proses aktivitas aerobik, tetapi penelitian dilakukan dalam pertarungan tunggal. Penelitian tentang efek latihan fase akut (<2 minggu) masih belum banyak dilakukan, terutama mengenai perbedaan efek fase latihan akut pada periode tertentu (3, 7, dan 14 hari). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tahun 2018 di Laboratorium Sentral dan Laboratorium Fisiologi Hewan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Padjadjaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan efek ekspresi gen MyoD dalam aktivitas fisik aerobik akut pada berbagai hari (3, 7, 14 hari) pada otot rangka. 24 tikus jantan Rattus novergicus dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok. Kelompok perlakuan dijalankan dengan treadmill hewan (P1=3 hari, P2=7 hari, dan P3=14 hari). Pada hari terakhir, tikus dikorbankan dengan soleus dan otot gastroknemius dibedah. Ekspresi gen MyoD pada kedua otot kemudian diamplifikasi menggunakan PCR terbalik dan dideteksi dengan elektroforesis gel agarosa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan level ekspresi gen MyoD pada kedua otot, hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan level perawatan per hari, walaupun secara statistik tidak signifikan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pada otot gastrocnemius tidak terlihat efek yang berbeda dari durasi aktivitas fisik aerobik terhadap tingkat ekspresi gen MyoD, hanya otot soleus menunjukkan perubahan dan peningkatan ekspresi konsisten terlihat pada hari ke 14 (3, 7, dan 14 hari).Kata kunci: Aktivitas fisik aerobik, akut, gastroknemius, MyoD, soleus, tikus

Vitiligo is the most common hypopigmentation disorder; however, until now there iss no comprehensive epidemiological-clinical study of vitiligo in Indonesia. A descriptive study using a questionnaire among vitiligo patients in Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital Bandung was conducted to determine the clinical findings, socio-demographic factors, coexisting autoimmune disorders, and severity of disease. All vitiligo patients were recruited during the period of February 2012 to April 2014 from the Dermatology Outpatient Clinic of Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital Bandung, as well as from the Endocrinology and Rheumatology Clinic Department of Internal Medicine; Endocrinology and Allergy and Immunology Clinics Department of Child Health; and Department of Nuclear Medicine the same hospital. We collected data on socio-demographic profiles, clinical profile, and severity of vitiligo based on Vitiligo European Task Force (VETF). Out of 242 patients, female patients made up the majority of the patients (66.12%). In addition, most patients wereunder 20 years (33.47%) and experienced onset of vitiligo highest in the first decade of life (29.34%). About 19.42% had positive family history of vitiligo and only 6.2% had history of autoimmune diseases. The majority of patients (77.27%) had vulgaris type of vitiligo with head-neck (35.36%) asthe most frequent initial site of onset. Based on VETF, the skin affected was mostly below 10% of body surface area (82.23%), i.e. staging score of between 0?5 (57.44%), and spreading score of between >0?(+5) or 68.18%. It is concluded that vitiligo most commonly occurs in females with the highest onset of under 10-years old and strong relationship with genetic predisposition.T he affected area was relatively small, despite the high spreading score. Penelitian deskriptif menggunakan kuesioner dilakukan pada pasien vitiligo di Rumah Sakit Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung untuk mengetahui gambaran klinis, faktor sosio-demografik, kelainan autoimun yang menyertai, dan keparahan penyakit. Seluruh pasien vitiligo dari periode Februari 2012 hingga April 2014 yang berkunjung ke poliklinik Kulit dan Kelamin Rumah Sakit Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung, serta poliklinik: Endokrinologi dan Rematologi, Ilmu Penyakit Dalam; Endokrinologi dan Alergi-imunologi, Ilmu Kesehatan Anak; serta Kedokteran Nuklir, diikutsertakan dalam penelitian. Data yang dihimpun mencakup keadaan sosiodemografi, klinik, dan keparahan vitiligo berdasar atas Vitiligo European Task Force (VETF). Dari 242 pasien, perempuan merupakan jenis kelamin terbanyak (66,12%), usia di bawah 20 tahun (33,47%), dan awitan vitiligo terjadi pada dekade pertama kehidupan (29,34%). Sekitar 19,42% memiliki riwayat vitiligo pada keluarga dan hanya 6,2% yang memiliki penyakit autoimun. Umumnya tipe vitiligo vulgaris (77,27%) dengan predileksi pertama pada kepala-leher (35,36%). Area kulit yang terkena berdasarkan VETF ialah di bawah 10% dari body surface area (82,23%), staging score 0?5 (57,44%), dan spreading score antara >0?(+5) atau 68,18%. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah vitiligo banyak mengenai perempuan, awitan tersering pada usia di bawah 10 tahun dengan predisposisi genetik yang tinggi, serta daerah yang terkena vitiligo relatif kecil meskipun spreading score-nya tinggi. ABSTRAKPenurunan daya ingat dan ketidakmampuan dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari menjadi salah satu alasan lansia dikirim ke panti wredha. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor demografi dan demensia dengan kemandirian lansia dalam memenuhi aktivitas dasar dan instrumental di panti wredha. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner BADL (Basic Activities of Daily Living), IADL (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living), dan MMSE (Mini Mental State Examination). Sampel penelitian berjumlah 166 lansia berusia 60 tahun yang tinggal di 3 panti wredha Bandung dan Garut. Analisa data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lansia yang ada di panti wredha 65,1% mandiri dalam BADL dan 51,8% mandiri dalam IADL, 109 orang (65,7%) mengalami demensia, 118 orang (71,1%) adalah wanita, 142 orang (85,5%) berpendidikan rendah, dan 153 orang (92,2%) tidak menikah. Analisis menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemandirian (BADL dan IADL) dengan pendidikan, status marital, dan demensia pada lansia di panti wredha (p0,05). Upaya yang komprehensif perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian lansia khususnya yang ada di panti wredha.Â ABSTRACTÂ Cognitive impairment and inability to do activities of daily living being the reasons for elderly to transferring in the nursing homes. The purpose of this study was to determine association of demographic factors and dementia with the independence of the elderly to fulfill basic and instrumental activities in nursing homes. The design of this study was cross-sectional. Data collection tools using BADL (Basic Activities of Daily Living), IADL (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living), and MMSE (Mini Mental State Examination) questionnaires. The research sample of 166 elderly aged 60 years who live in 3 nursing homes in Bandung and Garut. Data analysis uses an independent sample t-test. The results showed that the elderly in nursing homes 65.1% were independent in BADL and 51.8% were independent in IADL, 109 people (65.7%) suffered dementia, 118 people (71.1%) were women, 142 people (85.5% ) have low education, and 153 people (92.2%) are not married. The analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between BADL and IADL with education, marital status, and dementia in the elderly in nursing homes (p 0.05). Comprehensive treatment needs to improve the independence of the elderly especially in nursing homes.
