Abstract

The aim of this research was to know the influence of the use of Livewire learning media and psychomotor for Light Vehicle Engineering Students on Dynamic Electricity Topic. This research   used two group pretest-posttest method in which the object of the research divided into experimental group and control group consist of two different schools with the same major. An nN-gain analysis was used to calculate students’ understanding on dynamic electricity. The results of the n-gain calculations showed two scores for experimental group and control group where the experimental group gained 0.51 and 0.34, meanwhile the control group gained 0.34 and 0.31. Nevertheless, both experimental groups as well as the control group considered as medium level. Based on the results of students’ psychomotor in practicing (arranging) using livewire, the first experimental group gained a score of 74.16%, higher than the second experimental group that gained a total score of 73.10%, both in medium level. It can be concluded that N-gain score of the experimental group is higher than the control group. Along with that, the first experimental group had a higher score on psychomotor skills than the control group.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze protection strategies for children and women in South Papua using a qualitative approach through literature studies and in-depth interviews. Where the South Papua region, especially in Merauke Regency, faces significant challenges related to gender-based violence, limited access to education, and economic inequality. In the context of a strong patriarchal culture, women and children are often victims of domestic violence and underage marriage triggered by poverty, lack of education, and limited legal awareness. The results of this study found that the solutions that need to be implemented include strengthening special protection regulations, economic empowerment for women through entrepreneurship and community education campaigns to foster awareness of women's and children's rights. In addition, support and collaboration between the government, non-governmental organizations, and local communities are needed to overcome these challenges. The community approach is an important step in ensuring sustainable protection and creating a deep attitude towards gender-based violence and injustice faced by women and children in South Papua. This research is expected to contribute to providing policy recommendations that focus on empowerment, education and community-based approaches so as to improve the protection and quality of life of women and children in the South Papua region, especially in Merauke Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an innovative educational tool in the form of game with genre RPG (Role Playing Game) to support the learning of computer hardware assembly in vocational high schools (SMK). Utilizing the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, the development process consists of six stages: conceptualization, design, material collection, component integration, testing, and distribution. The game is designed with map-based missions simulating real-life computer assembly scenarios, using RPG Maker MV as the primary platform. The participants involved in this study consisted of 25 students, including 9 males and 16 females, aged 16–17 years. The instrument used for data collection was the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), which employs a questionnaire to evaluate the level of user experience across six variables. Based on the analysis conducted, most variables were categorized as "Excellent," with scores of 2.60 (Attractiveness), 2.50 (Perspicuity), 1.77 (Efficiency), 1.62 (Dependability), 2.50 (Stimulation), and 2.37 (Novelty). Thus, it can be concluded that the developed RPG game can be effectively used to support learning in computer assembly.

Abstract

The principal is a critical factor in the school's quality and plays a significant role as a leader. A principal must possess managerial skills to effectively lead and manage an educational institution. The impetus for this study is the necessity to enhance the quality of the school. This study, therefore, aims to ascertain the extent to which the principal's managerial leadership contributes to improving the school's quality. This qualitative research employed a qualitative descriptive method. Interviews, documentation, and observations were implemented as data collection techniques. The Principal, Vice Principal for Public Relations, Vice Principal for Curriculum, Vice Principal for Student Affairs, Vice Principal for Al-Islam, Muhammadiyah, and Arabic (ISMUBA), and Vice Principal for Infrastructure were all participants in this study. Using guidelines on source and technical triangulation, data analysis was then carried out using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study revealed that to effectively lead the school in enhancing its quality, a principal must possess managerial leadership skills: 1) conceptual skills, 2) humanitarian skills, and 3) technical skills.

Abstract

Providing access to learning in inclusive schools for children with special needs in Indonesia is still concerning. The implementation of the curriculum in inclusive schools has not been able to accommodate all Children with Special Needs. This study aimed to find a conceptual model of curriculum management as an alternative and practical approach to implementing inclusive schools. This study was conducted in one of the elementary schools in Yogyakarta using qualitative methods with case study. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Triangulation of sources, techniques, and time was used to test the validity of the data to test the validity of the data. Data analysis includes collection, reduction, presentation, and verification/conclusions. The study results indicate that inclusive curriculum management has been implemented and structured through planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating/assessing, considering all aspects involved in the process. The results of this study can be used as a guideline for implementing curriculum management in inclusive schools. However, further research is needed on the effectiveness of implementing curriculum management in inclusive schools and a more in-depth study of the obstacles and challenges in implementing curriculum management in inclusive schools.

Abstract

Sistem keamanan brankas umumnya menggunakan sistem keamanan manual yaitu membukanya dengan cara memutar dan menggunakan kode tanpa pembatasan orang yang dapat mengaksesnya sehingga membuat brankas rentan terhadap pembobolan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem keamanan brankas menggunakan keypad dan sensor fingerprint berbasis android. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Depelopment) yang berfungsi menghasilkan, mengembangkan produk tertentu serta menguji keefektifan dari produk (sistem keamanan brankas). Perancangan pembuatan sistem tersebut dilakukan menggunkan flowchart, use case dan diuji menggunakan teknik pengujian Black Box. Pengujian sistem yang dilakukan adalah pengujian keypad, sensor fingerprint, lampu LED, motor servo, pushbullet. Hasil dari pengujian terdiri dari dua proses yaitu input proses dan output proses, ketika sensor fingerprint yang dimasukkan terdeteksi sesuai dan password yang dimasukkan benar, maka lampu LED hijau akan menyala yang menandakan bahwa motor servo membuka pintu brankas dan otomatis menampilkan notifikasi berhasil diakses pada android melalui aplikasi pushbullet. Kesimpulan secara keseluruhan menunjukan bahwa perancangan dapat berjalan dengan baik dan beroperasi dengan lancar.

Abstract

The performance of regional governments can be influenced by various factors, including internal control systems, regional financial management and organizational commitment. The study aims to analyze the effect of internal control systems on organizational commitment, regional financial management on organizational commitment, internal control systems on local government performance, regional financial management on performance, organizational commitment to performance, the effect of internal control systems on local government performance through organizational commitment, the influence of regional financial management on the performance of local governments through organizational commitment to employees in Jepara District, Jepara Regency.This research is explanatory research. The research subjects were all employees at the village and village offices in Jepara sub-district, Jepara Regency with a total sample of 152 employees. The instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing is analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling).The results of the study stated that the system of internal control and regional financial management affects the performance of local governments. The internal control system and regional financial management influence the organizational commitment. Organizational commitment influences the performance of local government. Internal control systems and regional financial management affect the performance of local governments through organizational commitment.Keywords: internal control system, regional financial management, organizational commitment, local government performance.Kinerja pemerintah daerah dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, diantaranya yaitu sistem pengendalian intern, pengelolaan keuangan daerah dan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sistem pengendalian intern terhadap komitmen organisasi, pengelolaan keuangan daerah terhadap komitmen organisasi, sistem pengendalian intern terhadap kinerja pemerintah daerah, pengelolaan keuangan daerah terhadap terhadap kinerja,  komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja,  pengaruh sistem pengendalian intern terhadap kinerja pemerintah daerah melalui komitmen organisasi, pengaruh pengelolaan keuangan daerah terhadap kinerja pemerintah daerah melalui komitmen organisasi pada pegawai di Kecamatan Jepara Kabupaten Jepara.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian explanatory. Subyek penelitian adalah semua pegawai pada kantor kelurahan dan desa di kecamatan Jepara Kabupaten Jepara dengan jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 152 pegawai. Instrumen proses pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner. Pengujian hipotesis dianalisis menggunakan SEM (Structural Equation Modeling).Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa sistem pengendalian intern dan pengelolaan keuangan daerah berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pemerintah daerah. Sistem pengendalian intern dan pengelolaan keuangan daerah berpengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasi. Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pemerintah daerah. Abstract

Aktivitas belajar dari rumah (BDR) merupakan kegiatan belajar mengajar beserta evaluasinya yang dilakukan dari rumah secara daring. Untuk mendukung aktivitas tersebut dibutuhkan aplikasi pendukung, antara lain Zoom Meeting sebagi media komunikasi berbasis video secara real-time dan Google Form sebagai perangkat evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru SD Muhammadiyah 16 Karangasem, Laweyan, Surakarta, dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi Zoom Meeting dan mengelola Google Form guna mendukung proses dan evaluasi BDR. Metode yang digunakan terbagi menjadi 4 tahap yaitu analisis, formulasi permasalahan, tindakan solutif, dan evaluasi. Tindakan solutif dibuat dalam bentuk pelatihan yang terdiri dari ceramah singkat, tutorial, dan praktik mandiri. Evaluasi dilakukan setelah selesai kegiatan menggunakan kuesioner online. Hasil evaluasi dari 24 guru partisipan yang terlibat menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata setiap item pertanyaan kuesioner adalah sama dengan atau di atas 80%. Hasil kuesioner juga menunjukkan bahwa peserta merasa memperoleh informasi sesuai dengan yang diharapkan untuk mendukung aktivitas BDR dan mereka merasa puas dengan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa kegiatan ini berjalan sesuai dengan sasaran dan tujuan yang dibuat di tahap analisis awal.

Abstract

Purpose – This study explores teachers' perceptions of the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta. It aims to identify challenges and conveniences faced by teachers during its application, focusing on how the curriculum's core principles align with modern educational needs. Design/methods/approach – A qualitative descriptive approach was used, collecting data through semi-structured questionnaires completed by 21 teachers from various disciplines. The responses were analyzed thematically to highlight significant themes related to curriculum adaptation and execution. Findings – Key conveniences identified include enhanced teacher collaboration (33% of teachers reported positive experiences), relevance of teaching materials to students' real lives (19% of teachers appreciated this aspect), effective facilitation of the “Proyek Penguatan Profil Pancasila” (P5) (29% highlighted the benefits), and streamlined instructional content (19% acknowledged its positive impact). Conversely, challenges include implementing differentiated learning (24% of teachers found this particularly challenging), preparing for P5 (19% of teachers reported difficulties), developing the Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP) (14% of teachers faced difficulties in developing ATP), and understanding students' individual characteristics (24% of teachers faced faced challenges in this area). These findings present areas requiring further support and emphasize the curriculum's transformative potential. Research implications/limitations – The study is limited to one institution with a relatively small sample size. Findings suggest successful curriculum implementation requires improved teacher training, resources, and structured guidance, especially for differentiated learning and P5 management. Originality/value – This research contributes to the limited literature on Kurikulum Merdeka in Indonesia. It provides insights for policymakers and practitioners to optimize teacher readiness and resource allocation, enhancing the curriculum’s impact on teaching efficacy and student outcomes. Abstrak Tujuan – Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi persepsi guru terhadap implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan dan kemudahan yang dihadapi guru selama penerapan kurikulum, dengan fokus pada kesesuaian prinsip-prinsip inti kurikulum dengan kebutuhan pendidikan modern. Desain/Metode/Pendekatan – Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner semi-terstruktur yang diisi oleh 21 guru dari berbagai disiplin ilmu. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema utama terkait adaptasi dan pelaksanaan kurikulum. Temuan – Kemudahan utama yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi peningkatan kolaborasi antar guru (33% guru melaporkan pengalaman positif), relevansi materi ajar dengan kehidupan nyata siswa (19% guru mengapresiasi aspek ini), efektivitas fasilitasi “Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila” (P5) (29% menyoroti manfaatnya), serta penyederhanaan konten pembelajaran (19% mengakui dampak positifnya). Sebaliknya, tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi (24% guru mengalami kesulitan dalam aspek ini), persiapan P5 (19% guru melaporkan kendala), pengembangan Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP) (14% guru mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun ATP), dan pemahaman terhadap karakteristik individu siswa (24% guru menghadapi tantangan dalam hal ini). Temuan ini menunjukkan area yang membutuhkan dukungan lebih lanjut serta menyoroti potensi transformatif kurikulum. Implikasi/batasan Penelitian – Penelitian ini terbatas pada satu institusi dengan jumlah sampel yang relatif kecil. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi kurikulum memerlukan peningkatan pelatihan guru, penyediaan sumber daya, serta panduan yang lebih terstruktur, khususnya dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan pengelolaan P5. Orisinalitas/Nilai – Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur yang masih terbatas mengenai Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia. Studi ini memberikan wawasan bagi para pembuat kebijakan dan praktisi pendidikan untuk mengoptimalkan kesiapan guru dan alokasi sumber daya guna meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran serta hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aktivitas guru dan siswa selama penerapan metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping dalam meningkatkan daya ingat siswa, serta untuk mengukur peningkatan daya ingat siswa setelah menggunakan metode tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus meliputi empat tahapan: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan atau observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III-B SDN 34 Bara Kota Palopo, yang berjumlah 20 siswa, terdiri dari 9 perempuan dan 11 laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, tes, dan angket, yang kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata persentase 72,51% (cukup) dan meningkat menjadi 95,51% (sangat baik) pada siklus II. Sementara itu, aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata persentase 72% (cukup) dan meningkat menjadi 95% (sangat baik) pada siklus II. Peningkatan daya ingat siswa juga terlihat dari siklus I yang memperoleh rata-rata persentase 67,13% (sedang) dan meningkat menjadi 92,46% (tinggi) pada siklus II. Kesimpulannya, penerapan metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping pada pembelajaran tematik dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan daya ingat siswa kelas III di SDN 34 Bara Kota Palopo. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Mind Mapping efektif meningkatkan aktivitas dan daya ingat siswa. Aktivitas guru dan siswa serta daya ingat siswa meningkat signifikan dari siklus I ke siklus II, memberikan solusi praktis bagi pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar.
