Abstract

Heavy metal pollution, particularly from sources like lead (Pb), poses significant risks to human health and the environment. Monitoring heavy metal contamination is essential, and Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) is a promising technique for this purpose. However, matrix effects, particularly from adsorbent materials like zeolite and bentonite, can influence the accuracy of LIBS measurements. This study aims to investigate the matrix effects of zeolite and bentonite on the measurement of Pb using LIBS, focusing on how the physical and chemical properties of these materials impact the detection of Pb emission lines. Zeolite and bentonite samples were prepared by grinding and sieving to obtain powders with particle sizes less than 74 µm. These powders were then mixed with varying weights of lead nitrate (Pb(NO3)2) and pelletized to create uniform samples. The pellets were analyzed using LIBS, employing a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. The emitted plasma light was collected and transmitted to a spectrometer equipped with an intensified charge-coupled device (ICCD) camera. The spectral data were accumulated over 10 laser shots to ensure accuracy in detecting the elemental composition. The study found that the matrix effects from bentonite and zeolite significantly influenced the intensity and clarity of Pb emission lines. Bentonite showed a stronger influence on Pb detection, particularly due to the presence of Fe and Ti, which affected the Pb I lines at 405.8 nm and 368.3 nm. In contrast, zeolite exhibited fewer interferences, but the matrix effect was still evident. The matrix effects of zeolite and bentonite, derived from their physical and chemical properties, significantly impact Pb measurements using LIBS. Further research into different adsorbents and their matrix effects is warranted to improve the accuracy of LIBS in heavy metal analysis.

Abstract

Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Mengetahui Kemampuan Guru Dalam Menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Melalui Bimbingan Berkelanjutan penelitian ini tergolong penelitian tindakan sekolah dengan melibatkan enam orang guru mata pelajaran diantaranya mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Bahasa Indonesia, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, IPA, IPS, dan Penjaskes. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan April 2015 di SMP Negeri 4 Kapuas Barat Satu Atap semester II tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Prosedur pelaksanaan tindakan merupakan suatu siklus kegiatan yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu : (1) perencanaan, (2) tindakan, (3) pengamatan, (4) refleksi. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa kemampuan guru mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus II yaitu sebesar 17 %( siklus I (75%), siklus II (92%) Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan bimbingan berkelanjutan dapat berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan guru dalam menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran SMP Negeri 4 Kapuas Barat Satu Atap digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif membantu guru dalam menuysun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study shed light on proofing whether or not fantasy movie used as audio-visual media helped the students in improving their speaking achievement. This quantitative pre-experimental research involved 36 students of 8th grade of SMPN 24 South Tangerang as the samples. Both speaking pre- and post-tests were used as the instruments in collecting the data. The data were analyzed quantitatively In four steps; 1) assessing each student’s speaking performance based on the scoring rubric; 2) comparing students’ achievement in the pre-test and in the post-test; 3) presenting the comparison into percentages, and 4) determining the hypothesis. The analysis data showed that most students reached higher achievement in the post-test or after the treatment. In the percentages, 22.2% of the students fell in ‘excellent’ level in the post-test while in the pre-test none of the student was categorized in this criterion. Also, 44.4% of the students who sat in ‘bad’ level in the pre-test, decreased into 11.2% in the post-test. These results indicated that the students made good improvement in their speaking achievement after being taught by using fantasy movie. From those results, this study accepted Ha and rejected H0. To conclude, this research confirmed that fantasy movie used as audio-visual media helped the students in improving their speaking achievement.

Abstract

Kemampuan anak usia dini untuk menghafal tidak bisa dipandang sebelah mata. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menuangkan ide dan mengembangkan pengetahuan tentang metode menghafal anak usia dini yang dapat dijadikan sebagai strategi orang tua ketika anaknya Menghafal Al-Qur’an. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mendapatkan data yang mengandung makna tentang realitas sosial yang diamati kemudian diinterpretasi secara menyeluruh serta komprehensif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif karena data yang diperoleh peneliti dari bahan bacaan ilmiah dan hasil penelitian. Adapun pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini bersifat deskripitif-kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah diketahui bahwa terdapat tiga metode menghafal anak usia dini, yaitu: a) Direct Method, b) Afection, dan c) Repetition. Pada prinsipnya, menghafal Al-Qur’an pada dasarnya dapat dilakukan dengan bermacam-macam metode, namun metode yang ditawarkan ini adalah metode yang dapat diterapkan dan diterima oleh setiap anak usia dini, meskipun berbagai latar belakang dan kemampuan yang berbeda. The ability of early childhood to memorize cannot be underestimated. The purpose of this study is to express ideas and develop knowledge about methods of memorizing early childhood which can be used as a strategy for parents when their children memorize the Qur'an. The research method used is a qualitative research method. Qualitative methods are used to obtain data that contains meaning about the social reality that is observed and then interpreted thoroughly and comprehensively. This study uses qualitative methods because the data obtained by researchers from scientific literature and research results. The data collection in this study is descriptive-qualitative in nature. The results of this study show that there are three methods of memorizing early childhood, namely: a) Direct Method, b) Affection, and c) Repetition. In principle, memorizing the Qur'an can basically be done with a variety of methods, but the method offered is a method that can be applied and accepted by every early childhood, despite having different backgrounds and abilities.

Abstract

Abstract This research was carried out against the background of teachers' pedagogical and professional competence in implementing Islamic Religious Education learning strategies which include the subjects Al-Qur'an Hadith, Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, and History of Islamic Culture at the State Madrasah Tsanawiyah Siak Regency. This research aims to determine pedagogical competence and professional competence in determining and implementing learning strategies, strengthening the use of learning strategies and to find out ideal learning strategies and new learning strategies that can be applied to Islamic Religious Education at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Siak Regency. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach, and uses interviews, observation and documentation as data collection techniques. This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Siak, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Siak, and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Siak. The results of the research are that teachers with pedagogical and professional competence have not yet determined learning strategies in preparing Learning Implementation Plans, teachers with high and very high pedagogical competence, quite high professional competence have implemented expository, inquiry, contextual learning strategies and independent learning strategies. However, it has not been maximized in utilizing strategies and methods according to teaching materials. The ideal learning strategy used in the learning process of Islamic religious education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Siak Regency is expository and inquiry learning strategies according to the teacher's pedagogical and professional competence, and new learning strategies that can be applied. in learning Islamic religious education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Siak Regency is a muhadharah learning strategy which is a habituation activity and is able to contribute to student learning outcomes covering the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. Keywords: Teacher Competencies, Learning Strategies, PAI Abstrak Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan latar belakang kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru dalam penerapan strategi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang meliputi mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadits, Akidah Akhlak, Fiqih, dan Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi professional dalam penetapan dan penerapan strategi pembelajaran, penguatan penggunaan strategi pembelajaran dan untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran ideal dan strategi pembelajaran baru yang dapat diterapkan pada Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, serta menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Siak, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Siak, dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Siak. Hasil penelitian yaitu guru dengan kompetensi pedagogik dan professional yang dimiliki belum menetapkan strategi pembelajaran dalam penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, guru dengan kompetensi pedagogik yang tinggi dan sangat tinggi, kompetensi prosfesional yang cukup tinggi telah menerapkan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori, inkuiri, kontekstual, dan strategi pembelajaran mandiri, namun belum maksimal dalam memanfaatkan strategi dan metode sesuai materi ajar, strategi pembelajaran yang ideal digunakan pada proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak adalah strategi pembelajaran ekspositori dan inkuiri sesuai kompetensi pedagogik dan professional guru, dan strategi pembelajaran baru yang dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kabupaten Siak adalah strategi pembelajaran muhadharah yang merupakan kegiatan pembiasaan dan mampu berkontribusi pada hasil belajar peserta didik meliputi ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masalah kesehatan reproduksi wanita memiliki resiko 33% kali lebih besar daripada reproduksi pria yang hanya sebesar 12,3%. Salah satu masalah kesehatan reproduksi wanita yang sering ditemukan adalah keputihan. Pemerintah telah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mengendalikan masalah-masalah kesehatan pada remaja. Salah satu upaya pemerintah adalah adanya program PIK R/M yang dibentuk oleh BKKBN, bentuk aktivitas dalam PIK-R bersifat penyadaran dalam bentuk komunikasi, informasi dan edukasi (KIE) di dalam maupun di luar PIK-R/M yang dilakukan oleh Pendidik Sebaya (PS) dan Konselor Sebaya (KS) yang sudah terlatih. Media scrapbook dapat digunakan menjadi media pendidikan kesehatan, karena scrapbook merupakan album yang berisikan gambar dan cerita yang berkaitan dengan materi pembelajaran yang dihias dengan kreatif sehingga apabila diadopsi sebagai media untuk suatu pembelajaran dapat menarik  perhatian sasaran. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui  hubungan Media Promosi Srcapbook Dengan Keputihan  Di Gampong Dayah Tanoh Kec. Glumpang Tiga Kabupaten Pidie. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental). Desain rancangan digunakan non equivalent control group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh remaja Gampong Dayah Tanoh Dusun Buloh (sebagai kelompok eksperimen) dan dusun Dayah (sebagai kelompok kontrol). Adapun jumlah populasi 22 orang untuk dusun Buloh  dan 22 orang dusun Dayah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 12 s/d 15 Agustus 2021. Teknik analisa untuk mengetahui distribusi normal digunakan uji Saphiro wilk dikarenakan jumlah sampel <50 dan selanjutnya analisis bivariat menggunakan uji uji paired t-test. Hasil Penelitian: Ada hubungan  media promosi  Scrapbook sebelum dan sesudah diberikan terhadap pengetahuan remaja tentang keputihan Di Gampong Dayah Tanoh Kec. Glumpang Tiga Kabupaten Pidie. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai  intervensi P-value 0,004 sedangkan nilai kontrol P-value 0,553. Saran: Diharapkan bagi   remaja untuk dapat aktif dalam kegiatan pemerintahan untuk dapat memperoleh pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi khususnya keputihan.   Kata Kunci: Media Promosi Scrapbook, pengetahuanBackground: Women's reproductive health problems have a 33% greater risk than men's reproductive health which is only 12.3%. One of the frequently encountered female reproductive health problems is vaginal discharge. The government has made various efforts to control health problems in adolescents. One of the government's efforts is the PIK R/M program which was formed by BKKBN, the form of activity in PIK-R is awareness in the form of communication, information and education (KIE) inside and outside PIK-R/M carried out by Peer Educators ( PS) and trained Peer Counselors (KS). Scrapbook media can be used as a health education medium, because a scrapbook is an album containing pictures and stories related to learning material which are decorated creatively so that if adopted as a medium for learning it can attract the target's attention. Research Objective: To determine the relationship between Srcapbook promotional media and vaginal discharge in Gampong Dayah Tanoh District. Glumpang Tiga, Pidie Regency. Research Method: This research is quantitative with a quasi experimental research design. The design used was a non-equivalent control group. The population in this study were all teenagers from Dayah Tanoh Village, Buloh Hamlet (as the experimental group) and Dayah Hamlet (as the control group). The population is 22 people for Buloh hamlet and 22 people for Dayah hamlet. This research was conducted from 12 to 15 August 2021. The analysis technique to determine normal distribution used the Shapiro Wilk test because the number of samples was <50 and then bivariate analysis used the paired t-test. Research Results: There is a relationship between Scrapbook promotional media before and after it is given to teenagers' knowledge about vaginal discharge in Gampong Dayah Tanoh District. Glumpang Tiga, Pidie Regency. This can be seen from the intervention P-value of 0.004 while the control P-value is 0.553. Suggestion: It is hoped that teenagers can be active in government activities to gain knowledge about reproductive health, especially vaginal dischargeKeywords: Scrapbook Promotion Media, knowledge

Abstract

This research aimed to measure whether or not students’ speaking proficiency strengthen after they were taught this skill by using ELSA speak app and to find out if this improvement affected by the utilization of ELSA speak app. This was a quantitative study applying pre-experimental research design with one group of pre and post-tests. A number of 36 students registered in the 8th grade of SMPN 34 Jakarta chosen through cluster sampling, participated as the sample of the study. Two speaking tests conducted before and after the experiment were used as the tools in collecting the data. The data were then analyzed by using quantitative computation and statistics of paired-sample test. The results of the analysis data answer the two research questions as follows: 1) students’ speaking proficiency improved after they studied speaking by using ELSA speak app in which their speaking performance in the post-test was better than in the pre-test, acknowledged by the average score gained in these two tests (89.77 in the post-test and 82.05 in the pre-test). 2) Students’ speaking achievement affected by the utilization of ELSA speak app proven by the results of paired sample-test in which the p-valued (2-sided) score (0.0161) was lower than the significance value (?=0.05). These findings confirmed that ELSA speak app was effective in escalating students’ speaking proficiency.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of halaqah recitation in increasing nahwu knowledge of students at Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Islamic Boarding School, Benteng Village, Sidrap Regency. The main problem being studied is the implementation of the halaqah recitation, the nahwu knowledge of students and the supporting and inhibiting factors of increasing the nahwu knowledge of students. This study aims to determine the process of implementing halaqah recitation, increasing nahwu knowledge, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors for increasing students' nahwu knowledge. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with an educational approach and a psychological approach. This type of this research is field research. Data collection techniques in this research using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the recitation of halaqah at Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Islamic Boarding School plays an important role in increasing the knowledge of nahwu students. It is seen that students already know the position of words and are able to give vowels to every word contained in the book. Supporting factors for increasing nahwu knowledge with learning other than halaqah recitation, such as Arabic takhassus, Musabaqah Qira'atul Kutub, Arabic language villages and other extracurricular programs and books studied in halaqah recitation were tested on even and odd semester examinations. The inhibiting factor is from the lack of interest of some students, so they are less motivated in following the halaqah recitation process.

Abstract

The health problems often experienced by toddler-age children are the respiratory system, with nursing problems, namely ineffective airway cleaning caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa that infect the lungs. Handling ineffective airway cleaning nursing problems in children can be done by medical and nursing measures, including chest physiotherapy. Objectives: To describe the implementation of chest physiotherapy measures, define the response and results of chest physiotherapy, and analyze the difference in outcomes in two pediatric patients with ineffective airway clearance performed by chest physiotherapy. Methods: A comparative descriptive research design will be used to compare two subjects with the same criteria and conditions. Results: After five days of intervention, there was a difference in response in the two subjects; namely, airway clearance in subject one could be resolved with four indicators: sputum, rakhi, dyspnea, and respiratory rate. In subject 2, it could be partially resolved with 2 indicators that were resolved, namely dyspnea and respiratory rate, and this intervention was by the nursing problem that was enforced. Conclusion: The application of chest physiotherapy in toddler children can provide improvements in sputum, dyspnea, Ronchi, and respiratory rate within normal limits.

Abstract

Motivation is important in improving learning outcomes. One of the methods used by MTs N 1 Padang Lawas is the application of differentiated learning methods. Teachers use this method to increase student motivation and learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the influence of differentiated learning methods on student motivation and learning outcomes at MTs Negeri 1 Padang Lawas. The type of research is a quantitative experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design carried out at MTs Negeri 1 Padang Lawas. The results of this research are 1) There is an influence of differentiated learning methods on students' learning motivation on pre-test and post-test data with a significant value obtained of 0.000 < 0.05 while the T count is 22.032 > 1.970 with a positive coefficient value. 2) there is an influence of differentiated learning methods on student learning outcomes obtained with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 while the T count is 25.928 > 1.970 with a positive coefficient value. 3) there is an influence of differentiated learning methods on student motivation and learning outcomes on post-test data on motivation and learning outcomes with T calculated > T table at a significant level of 5% (19.909 > 1.970). The findings of this research have the effect of increasing student motivation and learning outcomes by using differentiated learning methods.
