Abstract

The Ornawa Mernbangun Negeri program aims to improve the welfare of the Oloboju Village community through ecofarming-based social entrepreneurs, especially rabbit farming. This activity includes location surveys, licensing, counseling, training, and evaluation. The training focuses on rabbit care, including balanced feeding, cage cleanliness, and conducive environmental management. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the level of community knowledge regarding rabbit farming, with the "good" category increasing from 46.7% to 100% after training. This program is effective in creating new jobs while increasing the community's ability to manage local potential independently

Abstract

Chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women is a condition where pregnant women suffer from nutritional deficiencies for a long time (chronic) which results in health problems for pregnant women and their unborn children. The aim of this local food diversity training is to teach cadres how to process Moringa leaves into various interesting and nutritious foods, so that cadres and pregnant women don't get bored with just one processing method. Community service activities with the theme Empowerment of cadres in the management of pregnant women using information technology using education and training methods targeting cadres and pregnant women in Oloboju village. The level of knowledge before counseling was carried out for pregnant women in the good category was 11.1%, the sufficient category reached 22.2%, and the poor category was 66.7%. After counseling, the good category increased to 100%. Thus, there was an increase before and after counseling for pregnant women and training for cadres

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen konflik dalam meningkatkan budaya organisasi di SMP IT Mutiara Global, Kecamatan Tambang, Kabupaten Kampar. Masalah konflik di lingkungan sekolah ini kerap muncul akibat perbedaan pandangan, latar belakang, dan kebijakan yang tidak dipahami secara menyeluruh oleh para pihak yang terlibat. Jika dikelola dengan baik, konflik tersebut dapat menjadi peluang untuk memperkuat kerja sama, inovasi, dan penerapan nilai-nilai Islami di dalam organisasi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Informan utama terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa, sedangkan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang melibatkan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara iteratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen konflik yang efektif di SMP IT Mutiara Global melibatkan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan, dan pengendalian. Strategi yang digunakan meliputi kolaborasi, negosiasi, mediasi, dan resolusi berbasis nilai-nilai Islami. Hal ini berdampak positif pada peningkatan budaya organisasi, yang mencakup orientasi pada inovasi, perhatian terhadap detail, kerja tim, dan stabilitas organisasi. Penelitian juga mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung seperti komitmen terhadap nilai-nilai Islami dan kerja sama yang baik antaranggota organisasi, serta faktor penghambat seperti kurangnya keterampilan komunikasi dan kepemimpinan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa manajemen konflik tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat penyelesaian masalah, tetapi juga sebagai sarana strategis untuk membangun budaya organisasi yang inklusif, inovatif, dan harmonis. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan praktis bagi para pengelola sekolah dalam merancang kebijakan dan program yang mendukung peningkatan budaya organisasi melalui pengelolaan konflik secara efektif. Dengan penerapan manajemen konflik yang tepat, SMP IT Mutiara Global dapat mewujudkan visi dan misinya sebagai institusi pendidikan berbasis nilai Islami yang unggul.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyse students' perceptions on the utilization of Webtoon digital comics media in their reading comprehension. This research used qualitative method with case study design. The data were collected by using a 5-Likert scale questionnaire and semi-structured interview asking about students’ perception on Webtoon digital comics used as media in their reading comprehension activities. In analysing the data, each scale of the questionnaire was converted into number to measure the most preferable responses from the students, while the results of the interview was analysed in thematic analysis with coding. The finding of questionnaire analysis revealed that from the questionnaire, the students positively respond to each statement in which the highest response fell into the scale of “Agree”. Meanwhile, from the interview it was found that all 4 students selected randomly from 71 also gave positive perception to Webtoon in which they said that this application helped them to comprehend the texts easier since it provided pictures and dialogue. Besides, the students also said that reading activity through Webtoon was fun and interesting. Thus, this research work concluded that the perceptions of the students toward Webtoon comic digital in their reading comprehension activity were positive.

Abstract

Kurikulum   Merdeka   adalah   suatu   kebijakan   pendidikan   yang   diperkenalkan   di Indonesia dengan tujuan untuk memberikan fleksibilitas dan kebebasan lebih kepada satuan  pendidikan  dalam  merancang  proses  belajar  mengajar  yang  lebih  sesuai dengan  kebutuhan  peserta  didik,  serta  meningkatkan  kualitas  pendidikan  di  tingkat dasar  dan  menengah.  Jurnal  ini  mengkaji  analisis  kebijakan  Kurikulum  Merdeka, dengan fokus pada aspek pengembangan dan implementasinya. Pentingnya kebijakan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk menanggapi tantangan global yang semakin kompleks serta mempersiapkan peserta didik dengan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan keterampilan sosial yang tinggi. Hasil dari analisis  menunjukkan  bahwa  meskipun  kebijakan  Kurikulum  Merdeka  memiliki potensi   untuk   memperbaiki   kualitas   pendidikan   di   Indonesia,   tantangan   dalam pengembangan  dan  implementasinya  masih  memerlukan  perhatian  serius.  Beberapa faktor  yang  mempengaruhi  keberhasilan  implementasi  meliputi  kesiapan  tenaga pendidik  dalam  merancang  dan  melaksanakan pembelajaran  yang  berbasis  pada kebebasan  dan  fleksibilitas,  serta  keterlibatan  semua  pihak  terkait  dalam  proses transisi ini. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sinergi antara kebijakan, pelatihan guru, serta peningkatan    infrastruktur    dan    sumber    daya    pendidikan    untuk    memastikan keberhasilan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how Starting Condition in collaborative governance of tourism village development in Buton Regency. This study uses Qualitative methods, Data analysis techniques by preparing data and organizing data, reducing data and presenting data. This study uses the theory of Ansel and Gash which divides starting conditions in collaborative governance into Power Resource Knowledge Asymmetries, Incentives for and Constraints on Participation, and Prehistory of Cooperation or Conflict (initial trust level). The results of the study show that: Power Resource Knowledge between stakeholders is a problem that is often found in collaborative governance. This imbalance can lead to the dominance of stronger actors, which affects not only the decision-making process but also the results of collaboration. Likewise, Incentives for participation optimal participation is often hampered by imbalances of power, imbalances of knowledge, limited resources, and complicated bureaucratic processes. Therefore, to improve the effectiveness of collaborative governance, it is important to overcome these constraints, such as increasing the capacity of community knowledge, improving access to resources, and simplifying bureaucratic procedures, so that all actors can participate more actively in managing tourism villages. In addition, the fear of conflict that when stakeholders are interdependent, high levels of conflict can provide great benefits for collaborative governance. Policy deadlock can actually provide a strong impetus for collaborative governance, therefore high conflict is not always a barrier to collaboration. In many literatures it is explained that stakeholders see that they cannot achieve the desired goals without engaging in the collaboration process even though there are conflicting interests from other stakeholders.

Abstract

AbstractThis research had the objective of measuring whether or not Quartet cards game used as attractive media effective to promote 7th grade students' vocabulary mastery. This quantitative research applied experimental approach with one group pre-test and post-test design. There were 28 students of 7th grade, registered in even semester of academic year 2022/2023, participated as sample in this study. The tools used in collecting the data were validated pre-test and post-test of vocabulary knowledge. In analyzing the data, paired-sample test was used to determine the correlations between variables and to decide which hypothesis was accepted. Initial data calculation revealed that in the average, the students reached higher achievement in the post test than in the pre-test in which the mean score gained in the post-test was 77.71 while in the pre-test was 55.96 which meant that vocabulary mastery of the students was 21.95 points increased after they were taught by using Quartet cards game. Besides, the statistical analysis indicated that the correlation coefficient between two variables was 0.678 with the sig value of 0.001 or < than a probability of 0.05, this confirmed that there was a relationship between pre-test and post-test variables.  The computation of paired-sample test revealed that Sig. (one-sided and two-sided p) was <0.001 which showed that there was different achievement reached by the students after Quartet cards game was used in the learning. Based on these findings, this research concluded that Quartet cards game promoted 7th graders’ vocabulary mastery. Thus, this study accepted Ha and rejected H0.Keywords: teaching aids, learning media, quartet cards game, vocabulary masteryAbstrakPenelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengukur apakah Quartet cards game yang digunakan sebagai media yang atraktif efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata siswa kelas 7. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menerapkan pendekatan eksperimen dengan disain ‘one group pre-test post-test’. Sejumlah 28 siswa kelas 7 MTs Darussalam, Tangerang Selatan, terdaftar pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023, berpartisipasi sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Alat yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah uji pengetahuan kosa kata sebelum dan sesudah (pre-test dan post-test) yang telah divalidasi. Dalam menganalisis data, paired sample test digunakan untuk menentukan korelasi antar variabel dan untuk menentukan hipotesis mana yang diterima. Kalkulasi data diawal menunjukkan bahwa secara rerata, siswa mencapai hasil yang lebih tinggi pada post-test dibandingkan capaian mereka di pre-test, dimana nilai rerata di post-test adalah 77.71 sedangkan pada pre-test adalah 55.96 dimana hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan kosa kata siswa meningkat sebesar 21.95 poin setelah mereka diajarkan dengan menggunakan media Quartet cards game. Selain itu, analisis statistika menunjukkan korelasi koefisien antar variabel adalah 0.678 dengan nilai signifikan 0.001 atau lebih kecil (<) dari kemungkinan 0.05, dan hal ini mengkonfirmasi bahwa terdapat korelasi antara variabel pre-test dan post-test. Perhitungan dari paired-sample test menunjukkan bahwa Signifikan (one-sided dab two-sided p) lebih kecil dari 0.001 (<0.001) yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan capaian yang diraih oleh siswa setelah Quartet cards game digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan temuan ini maka disimpulkan bahwa Quartet cards game meningkatkan penguasaan kosa kata siswa kelas 7. Dengan demikian, ma.ka penelitian ini menerima Ha dan menolak H0.

Abstract

Heavy metal pollution, particularly from sources like lead (Pb), poses significant risks to human health and the environment. Monitoring heavy metal contamination is essential, and laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is a promising technique for this purpose. However, matrix effects, particularly from adsorbent materials like zeolite and bentonite, can influence the accuracy of LIBS measurements. This study aims to investigate the matrix effects of zeolite and bentonite on the measurement of Pb using LIBS. It is focusing on how the physical and chemical properties of these materials impact the detection of Pb emission lines. Zeolite and bentonite samples were prepared by grinding and sieving to obtain powders with particle sizes less than 74 µm. These powders mixed with varying weights of lead nitrate (Pb(NO3)2) and pelletized to create uniform samples. The pellets were analyzed using LIBS, employing a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. The emitted plasma light was collected and transmitted to a spectrometer equipped with an intensified charge-coupled device (ICCD) camera. The spectral data were accumulated over 10 laser shots to ensure accuracy in detecting the elemental composition. The study found the matrix effects from bentonite and zeolite have significant influence on the intensity and clarity of Pb emission lines. Matrix effects on bentonite indicated a stronger influence on Pb detection compare to zeolite. It mainly due to the presence of Fe and Ti, which is affected the Pb I lines at 405.8 nm and 368.3 nm. In contrast, zeolite exhibited fewer interferences, but the matrix effect was still obvious. These matrix effects-derived interreferences can be associated with the physical and chemical properties of the adsorbents. Further research into different adsorbents and their matrix effects is warranted to improve the accuracy of LIBS in heavy metal analysis.

Abstract

School-age children are easily targeted for various diseases, especially gastrointestinal diseases because school-age children have not paid much attention to their health, including the snacks they eat. Digestive diseases that most often infect school-age children due to poor schoolchildren's snacks include typhoid fever. Typhoid fever is a disease caused by Salmonella Thypi bacteria. The priority of treatment in typhoid fever patients is hyperthermia management with the application of warm compresses that can help lower the body temperature of patients with typhoid fever. Purpose: From this case study, it is to help reduce body temperature against hyperthermy in school-age children with a medical diagnosis of typhoid fever at Arjawinangun Hospital Cirebon. Method: This scientific paper uses a descriptive qualitative design with the number of subjects as many as 2 respondents of school-age children with a medical diagnosis of typhoid fever who were given an intervention, namely a warm compress. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations and documentation studies. Conclusion: after the cooperative action, one experienced a temperature decrease of 1.1°C from 37.8°C to 36.7°C while patient 2 experienced a temperature decrease of 1.7°C from 38.3°C to 36.6°C. Suggestion: the patient's family can perform the very conflict act independently that has been taught by the nurse and in accordance with the standard operating instructions for warm compress procedures in the manual.
