Abstract

This study aimed to determine the differences between the career development of students with disabilities in private and public schools. It applied a comparative method involving 84 special education teachers teaching vocational education at the junior and senior high school levels. Career development was examined through the development perspective using three components: career awareness, exploration, and preparation. The first instrument was used to collect the demographic data, and the second instrument generated the teachers' perception of the career development of students with disability in the special schools. The obtained data were analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test. Our finding suggested that the career development of students with disabilities in private and public schools was not substantially different. Meanwhile, their career development based on their various disabilities also did not vary significantly. Interestingly, the students with intellectual disabilities presented narrower career development than those with other disabilities, primarily in the career preparation aspect. Our analysis showed that this finding could be caused by more significant hindrances encountered by the students with intellectual disabilities in relation to their self-determination. This research can be used as a basis for providing career services for the career development of students with special needs, both in private and public schools.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the snakes and ladders game media that can overcome the lack of PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior) skills, especially washing hands with soap and sorting waste in mild mentally retarded students at SLB Idayu 1 Malang. This research method uses experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design, namely (1) pretest (2) treatment (3) posttest. Data were collected through the results of the pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used a hypothesis test, namely the Wilcoxon test. The results concluded that there was an average value of all mentally retarded students in the pretest and posttest of 49.00 and 89.00. Thus, it can be said that the snakes and ladders game media has an effect on increasing PHBS skills in mild mentally retarded students at SLB Idayu 1 Malang.

Abstract

Quality human resources are people who can and are willing to help an organization achieve its goals. The aim of this research was to determine the increase in work commitment, work ability, organizational culture and human resource performance in Trebungan Village and Kayuputih Village. The population in this study were all Trebungan Village and Kayuputih Village officials, totaling 35 people. The sampling technique was determined by purposive sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing of this study used Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of testing the direct influence hypothesis using the Smart PLS 3.0 application showed that work commitment had a significant positive effect on organizational culture, work ability had a positive but not significant effect on organizational culture, work commitment had a significant positive effect on performance, work ability had a positive but not significant effect on performance, and organizational culture had a positive but not significant effect on performance. The results of testing the indirect influence hypothesis showed that the work commitment variable did not significantly influence performance through organizational culture, work ability did not significantly influence performance through organizational culture.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to determine the effect of sales promotion and service quality on repurchase intention mediated by consumer satisfaction at the AsembagusSitubondo Yamaha Surya Inti Putra Dealer. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling with the Slovin formula with a tolerable error rate of 10% for 96 consumers. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that Sales promotion has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, sales promotion has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, service quality has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, consumer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, sales promotion has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention through consumer satisfaction, service quality has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention through consumer satisfaction

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the increase in Work Discipline, Work Ability, Performance and Job Satisfaction of human resources at the Misbahul Hidayah Suboh Foundation, Situbondo Regency. The population in this study was employees of the Misbahul Hidayah Suboh Foundation, Situbondo Regency. The sampling technique was determined by purposive sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing for this research used Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS- SEM). The results of testing the direct influence hypothesis using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that Work Discipline has a significant positive effect on Job Satisfaction. Work Ability has a significant positive effect on Job Satisfaction. Work Discipline has a negative but not significant effect on Performance. Work Ability has a significant positive effect on Performance. Job Satisfaction has a significant positive effect. Work Discipline on Performance through Job Satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect. Work Ability on Performance through Job Satisfaction has a positive significant effect.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze nine key factors that influence BSC implementation for hospital performance. Census method used to sampling hospital managers, started from shift commander to superintendent of hospital. Multiple regression used as tools of analyzing to analyze ten hypothesis. Research was done at Sentra Medika Hospital Cikarang Branch. Conclusion from this research found seven from nine factors has great signification influence to hospital performance, they are officer and middle manager participation factor, culture of work factor, education and training factor, simple planning of BSC factor, sharpness of vision, strategy and result, incentive effect factor, and internal BSC team factor. Two others has no signification to hospital performance, they are top management supporting factor and resources factor.

Abstract

The research is aimed to evaluate the performance of High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) machines in the Nusametal division of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk whether it has met the world class companyas guided by the company’s vision.The research uses descriptive approach. The quantitative analysis technique here uses Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) score analysis. The result from OEE score calculation will be compared with standard OEE score for world class companies. Meanwhile, the result is also analysed qualitatively by identifying six big losses which cause downtime in HPDC process. The research data uses the Production Daily Report (LHP) for the period of January to December 2014.The data calculation concludes that the average OEE score of HPDC machines in the Nusametal division of Astra Otoparts Tbk is 61.60% which means has not met the standard of world class company yet. Based on the identification of six big losses, the machine breakdown is the major contributor (51%), followed by setup and adjustment (26%), production rejects (17%) and small stops (6%). Meanwhile, referring to the OEE category, the downtime loss is the major contributor of machine downtime (77%), followed by quality loss (17%) and speed loss (6%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas apakah penentuan segmenting, targeting dan positioning akan berpengaruh terhadap hasil penjualan rumah di Perumahan Cluster Mustika Village Bekasi. Serta mencari besarnya pengaruh dari variabel laten yang membentuk masing-masing variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Penerapan segmenting yang dilakukan pengembang Cluster Mustika Vilage Bekasi berpengaruh positif terhadap penjualan rumah. Artinya segmenting yang dilakukan perusahaan selama ini sudah tepat. Penerapan target pasar yang dilakukan Pengembang Cluster Mustika Vilage Bekasi berpengaruh positif terhadap penjualan rumah (target penjualan). Artinya pembidikan pasar, siapa konsumen yang menjadi target/dibidik sudah tepat dan potensi membeli rumah pun besar. Penerapan positioning pasar yang dilakukan pengembang berpengaruh positif terhadap target penjualan rumah. Artinya positioning pasar atau positioning pengembang Cluster Mustika Vilage Bekasi sudah tepat di benak konsumen, citra dan kepercayaan di masyarakat. Secara umum strategi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh pengembang Cluster Mustika Vilage Bekasiberpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja atau target penjualan rumah. Namun karena target penjualan yang telah ditetapkan tidak tercapai, maka ada faktor lain sebagai penyebabnya. Faktor lain adalah taktik pemasaran yang berkaitan dengan bauran pemasaran.

Abstract

This research examines the legal force and protective function of informed consent in high-risk surgical procedures, focusing particularly on the latest regulatory framework in Indonesia as stipulated by Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health. Currently, there is a notable absence of specific scholarly examination addressing this issue comprehensively. Although the regulation clearly defines patients’ rights to comprehensive medical information and mandates healthcare providers to deliver it transparently, practical ambiguities remain regarding the extent of informed consent’s binding legal authority and effectiveness in providing legal protection for both patients and medical professionals. Employing a normative juridical approach with descriptive-analytical methods, the study is primarily based on literature review and analysis of relevant Supreme Court decisions. The central objective of this research is to evaluate the legal enforceability and protective role of informed consent within the context of high-risk surgical treatments. The findings reveal that informed consent possesses substantial legal force derived from contractual principles established between patients and healthcare providers, thereby ensuring mutual legal protection during high-risk medical procedures. Informed consent encompasses preventive measures that aimed at averting potential disputes through clear communication, and repressive measures, which offer legal remedies in cases of violation, thus strengthening accountability and legal certainty within healthcare services.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengurus Pondok Pesantren Ngalah dalam menangani santri berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) melalui pendekatan pendidikan inklusi. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan pengurus dalam menyusun strategi pembelajaran yang responsif terhadap keberagaman kebutuhan santri. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui metode community development yang mencakup workshop pendidikan inklusi, pelatihan penyusunan RPP, parenting untuk orang tua santri ABK, serta pendampingan secara berkala. Sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, dilakukan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengurus. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep pendidikan inklusi, kemampuan asesmen ABK, serta pengembangan sarana dan media pembelajaran yang ramah inklusi. Data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 61 santri inklusi dari total 5.115 santri yang tersebar di berbagai asrama. Program ini berhasil membangun kesadaran dan kesiapan institusi dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan inklusi secara lebih sistematis dan manusiawi. Keberlanjutan kegiatan ini direncanakan melalui publikasi artikel ilmiah dan pendampingan lanjutan sebagai bagian dari penguatan kelembagaan pesantren inklusi.
