Abstract

The era of digitalisation has transformed the learning assessment process, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Teachers’ competence in carrying out assessments integrating digital technology with Islamic values is a determining factor in the effectiveness of learning evaluation. This study aims to analyse teachers' competence in conducting Islamic Education learning assessments, identify effective assessment criteria, and examine the implementation of Islamic Education assessments in the digital era. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, using data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation at SMP Muhammadiyah PK Kotabarat Surakarta. PAI teachers’ competence in assessment still needs continuous strengthening. The implementation of Computer-Based Tests (CBT) for PAI shows a significant transformation in the evaluation process, although it still faces technical and pedagogical challenges. The school implemented a comprehensive strategy to address teachers' competency gaps through periodic evaluations, deliberation forums, and continuous training. Developing teachers’ competencies in PAI assessment in the digital era requires the integration of pedagogical, technological and analytical skills supported by continuous professional development programs.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how portofolio learning is implemented and evaluated at SMP Negeri 3 Surakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach and uses descriptive methods. The tecnique used was an interview with the PAI teacher with the inisials U. The interview was carried out by preparing several questions that were appropriate to this research study and then conveying them to the resouce person. The results of this research show that PAI teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Surakarta have carried out portofolio evaluation activities. The form of portofolio evaluation activities includes practice accoording to the chapter that is the learning material, discussions beteween groups and a portofolio of assignments given. Evaluation is carried out through an assessment rubric that has been created as well as special tasks carried out by PAI teachers namely making a list of prayers and reciting the koran while at home. This is an additional assessment at the end of the semester which can help boost the value of PAI subjects. The obstacles experienced when carrying out portofolio evaluations are students’ negligence in carrying out assignments and constraints in the duration of preparation for PAI practical activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mapping of the development and direction of Analysis Curriculum Islamic Education research in publications indexed by Scopus. This study used bibliometric analysis techniques to explore all publications indexed in Scopus' database of Analysis Curriculum Islamic Education from 2004 to 2023. The data obtained were analyzed using Excel and R/R-Studio. VOSviewer is used to perform visual analysis of the simultaneous occurrence of keywords and document citations. The author found 209 publications that fit the function, subject, and criteria set. The results of this study show an annual growth rate of 8.84%, with the most publications on Analysis Curriculum Islamic Education in 2021. Indonesia is the country that contributes the most publications with affiliations from Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry. Avirsais, O. become the most prolific writer in the theme Analysis Curriculum Islamic Education. The bibliometric analysis performed was limited to Scopus data. Other national and international databases were not taken into account in the study. This study presents a brief overview of the literature accessible to researchers working in education and provides recommendations for future research.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter mencakup apa yang harus dipelajari oleh siswa dan bagaimana mereka harus menggunakan prinsip-prinsip moral dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Karakter siswa sangat dipengaruhi oleh keterlibatan mereka dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut, peneliti akan mencoba untuk menyelidiki lebih detail mengenai pendidikan karakter apa saja yang diajarkan dalam ekstrakurikuler Tapak Suci, seberapa besar nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang sudah tertanam dalam perilaku keseharian siswa SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Program Khusus, variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi tingkat internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler Tapak Suci. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian meliputi dokumentasi, wawancara langsung, dan observasi. Tiga langkah yang membentuk tahapan analisis data adalah temuan atau verifikasi, display data, dan reduksi data. Religius, disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kepedulian sosial merupakan komponen pendidikan karakter yang ditanamkan dalam ekstrakurikuler tapak suci di SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Program Khusus, sesuai dengan temuan penelitian. Perilaku siswa sehari-hari mencerminkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang diajarkan oleh ekstrakurikuler tapak suci. Kesadaran diri, keteladanan pelatih, dan durasi latihan menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi seberapa besar nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terinternalisasi.

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to find out how teachers implement Islamic values in students at SMK N 1 Klaten. This research aims to find out what methods are used to implement values in school activities at SMK N 1 Klaten. This research study uses a qualitative descriptive method. This research is included in the classification of field research carried out at SMK N 1 Klaten. The data obtained from this research is through observations, interviews, and documentation from school principals, PAI teachers, and students of SMK N 1 Klaten. The results of this research show that there are several methods for implementing Islamic values carried out at SMK N 1 Klaten, including the habit of reading the Al-Qur'an before learning, dhuha prayers in congregation, and students' religious activity sheets. In the implementation of school activities there are also supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include support from parents/guardians and from the school. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors come from the students' different backgrounds. Based on the results of research regarding the implementation of Islamic religious values at SMK N 1 Klaten using the habituation method in school activities, including reading the Al-Qur'an before the first lesson begins, praying Dhuha in congregation, and religious activity sheets for students, The implementation of several of these habits is carried out according to each habit and is carried out at any time in everyday life. In implementing this habituation, supporting and inhibiting factors arise. Supporting factors include support from parents and guardians as well as from the school, which always controls students to always implement Islamic religious values. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include students' different backgrounds in reading the Al-Qur'an, but teachers at SMK N 1 Klaten have a solution to this by directing students to take part in the BTA extracurricular.

Abstract

This study examines the efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in evaluating student learning outcomes at SMPN 3 Ponjong, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. The background of this study is the decline in students' enthusiasm and focus in learning PAI in class. The purpose of this study is to identify the forms of evaluation used by PAI teachers. Using descriptive qualitative research methods with a case study approach, researchers collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Triangulation of methods and sources was used to test the validity of the data, while data analysis used the Miles and Huberman technique which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that PAI teachers implemented three types of learning evaluation. First, formative assessment through daily assignments in the form of practice questions that allow teachers to monitor the development of students' understanding in real-time and provide immediate feedback. Second, summative assessment carried out at the end of the learning period using test (oral and written) and non-test (performance, work, and portfolio) techniques. Report card scores show good cognitive achievement, although weaknesses are still found in aspects of religious practice such as reading and writing the Qur'an. Third, authentic assessment assesses students' ability to apply knowledge to real contexts through projects to make learning videos of worship and direct practice of religious activities. These three evaluation methods proved effective in improving students' conceptual understanding and practical skills, as well as increasing motivation and learning focus. This study concludes that a comprehensive evaluation approach that covers cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects is essential in PAI learning to ensure students not only understand the theory of Islamic teachings but are also able to apply it in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to study three aspects, namely: Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation of Problem Based Learning model learning to improve students' critical thinking skills in Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah subjects in grades X, XI, XII at Muhammadiyah Pontren Imam Syuhodo High School. This study uses qualitative research methods. Data sources are obtained from primary and secondary data. The researcher obtained primary data directly from al-Islam and Muhammadiyah teachers. Secondary data sources come from previous journals and information provided by al-Islam and Muhammadiyah teachers. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Direct interviews with al-Islam and Muhammadiyah experts then conduct observations and documentation. The data were validated by triangulation. The results of the research show that the educational planning has been adjusted to the Muhammadiyah curriculum. To improve students' critical thinking skills, the facilitator uses the Problem Based Learning model at the learning implementation stage. This model includes problem-oriented to learners, organizing learners, guidance in individual and group investigations, creating and presenting works, and analyzing the evaluation of the problem-solving process. For the evaluation stage, the Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah teachers did not use observation sheets to assess the students' activeness. On the other hand, the Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah teachers conduct assessments by assigning assignments, which are then discussed by students. Thus, the students of SMA Muhammadiyah Pontren Imam Syuhodo showed an improvement in their critical thinking skills during the learning process which was based on problems.

Abstract

Evaluasi memiliki peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Tidak hanya sebagai suatu hasil, tapi juga sebagai suatu proses. Terdapat banyak teknik yang dipakai dalam menerapkan evaluasi, salah satunya yaitu dengan pre-test. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi teknik pre-test dalam evaluasi pembelajaran Aqidah di SMP Al Islam Kartasura, termasuk tujuan, strategi, tantangan dan solusi yang diterapkan di dalamnya. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu field research atau kajian lapangan. Dengan menggunakan paradigma penelitian kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan yaitu metode wawancara. Data diperoleh dari sumber informasi yang meliputi hasil wawancara dengan guru pengampu mata pelajaran Aqidah di SMP Al Islam Kartasura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pre-test bertujuan untuk mengetahui ataupun menguji kemampuan peserta didik sebelum penyampaian materi di dalam kelas. Menggunakan metode tanya jawab dan juga kuis yang diberikan secara lisan. Penerapan pre-test terbukti sangat efektif sebagai penentuan metode yang cocok digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Setiap peserta didik memiliki kemampuan dalam pemahaman materi yang berbeda-beda di mana hal tersebut menjadi tantangan dalam penerapan pre-test ini.

Abstract

Pendidikan memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong perubahan dan kemajuan suatu bangsa, termasuk di Indonesia. Penelitian ini fokus pada penerapan instrumen High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Colomadu. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk menganalisis bagaimana instrumen HOTS direncanakan, diterapkan, serta kendala yang dialami oleh para guru dalam konteks pembelajaran mata pelajaran Akidah, Akhlak, dan Tarikh. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penerapan HOTS dimulai pada tahun 2020 dan telah berkembang secara penuh pada tahun 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen HOTS meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, tetapi juga mendorong siswa untuk keterampilan membaca, berpikir kritis dan kreatif.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Modern Islam Assalaam memiliki program khusus Tahfidzul Qur’an yang diberi nama Kulliyatu Tahfidzul Qur’an. Program ini disediakan bagi para santri yang berminat untuk menghafalkan Al-qur’an dengan target minimal 4 Juz pertahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan implementasi dari Program Khusus Tahfidzul Qur’an di PPMI Assalaam, serta faktor pendukung maupun penghambat yang terjadi dalam program tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan kualitatif field research (studi lapangan) dan jenis data dari penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Sumber data dari penelitian ini ada primer dengan responden guru tahfidz dan santri, dan sekunder melalui jurnal, buku, dan literatur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Program Kulliyatu Tafidzul Qur’an ini ditujukan bagi setiap santri yang berminat untuk menghafal Al-qur’an. Program ini memiliki target minimal 4 Juz pertahunnya, program ini dilaksanakan setiap hari dan terbagi menjadi 3 waktu, 2 waktu setoran yaitu setiap bakda subuh dan bakda asar, dan 1 waktu untuk persiapan setiap malam sebelum tidur serta program ini juga dievaluasi setiap pekannya. Penulis juga mencantumkan faktor pendukung maupun penghambat program ini dari internal maupun eksternal.
