Abstract

The research applies a group investigation type cooperative learning model based on audio video media. The group investigation type cooperative learning model is a learning model that emphasizes complex student choice and control with group division that requires students to use high student thinking skills by considering close friendships or shared interests in certain topics. The aim is to determine the effect of the group investigation type cooperative learning model based on audio-vidual media on student learning outcomes in class IV science and science subjects at SD RK Santa Maria Pakkat for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is an experimental method with a quantitative research type. To obtain the data required a test instrument of 25 questions. The total research sample was 30 students based on the saturated sampling technique. To determine students' initial abilities, the research conducted a pretest with an average score of 55,73 which was in the poor category. The results of the Posttest have improved from the Pretest results given previously with the students' average score reaching 86,26 in the very good category. It can be said that the level of success in student learning outcomes has increased as evidenced by the results of the correlation coefficient test calculation, the results obtained were r_count ≥ r_tabel with results of 0,805 ≥ 0,361. Next, hypothesis testing is comparing the t_count≥ t_table values. The obtained value of t_count = 7,192 while t_table = 2,042. Because t_count ≤ t_table (7,192 ≥ 2,042) then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Through the t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between the group investigation type cooperative learning model based on audio video media on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative model based on teaching aids on student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons in class V of SD Negeri 064022 Medan Tuntungan for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is quantitative using experimental methods. The population of this study was class V students at SD Negeri 064022 Medan Tuntungan, totaling 29 students. Sampling was taken using a saturated sampling technique and was obtained from class V, totaling 29 students. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes are in the very good category with an average of 87.76. The results of this research show that the correlation test results can be seen that the correlation coefficient is 0.831, meaning rcount (0.831) ≥ rtable (0.367), so hₐ is accepted. So there is a very strong influence between the Jigsaw Type Cooperative model based on teaching aids on student learning outcomes in class V mathematics lessons at SD Negeri 064022 Medan Tuntungan. It can also be seen from the t-test where tcount ≥ ttable, namely 7.774 ≥ 1.699, thus stating that hₐ is accepted. This shows that there is a significant positive influence from the use of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative model based on teaching aids on student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons in class V of SD Negeri 064022 Medan Tuntungan for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The learning of Pancasila Education in Class 6 of SDN 060825 Medan Area is the focus of this study. The Role-Playing method is used to improve students' understanding of the rights, obligations and responsibilities related to the environment and culture owned by students. Based on this study, students are less interested in Pancasila Education material because it is conventional and less interactive, which results in students not being involved and getting poor learning outcomes. On the other hand, through the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach, the Role-Playing method makes learning more interactive and enjoyable, and student learning outcomes increase. Therefore, its implementation requires improved classroom management and teacher creativity. Therefore, this study suggests that teachers should be trained in implementing the Role-Playing method properly accompanied by scenarios that are adjusted to the student's environmental situation. They must also create interesting learning materials, use technology, and create a supportive learning environment. To find out how effective role-playing is, periodic evaluations are also needed. By implementing this recommendation, it is hoped that the quality of PKN learning in Class 6 of SDN 060825 Medan Area will increase significantly.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Reward-based Problem Based Learning learning model on the mathematical learning outcomes of class IV at SD Negeri 060919 Medan Sunggal for the 2024/2025 academic year. The procedures and techniques used in research are called research methodology. The aim of this quantitative research strategy is to identify factors that contribute to the success or failure of various learning approaches in improving academic achievement in mathematics classes with fractions as the main material in class IV. This can be seen from the average student pretest score of 43.33 and the average score of -student posttest average 74.33. Based on the results of the hypothesis test (t-test) with a value of ≥, namely 5,806 2.048 at a significance level of 0.000 0.05. These data can show that Ha is accepted, namely that there is an influence between the Problem Based Learning learning model based on giving rewards (X) on student learning outcomes (Y). At the end of the lesson, the researcher provided treatment using a Problem Based Learning learning model based on giving rewards when teaching, then the researcher tested the students again by giving a posttest of 10 questions to see the value of the treatment given. By using the Problem Based Learning learning model based on giving rewards, students' posttest learning outcomes increased with an average score of 74.33 and there were 29 students who completed and 1 student who did not complete. So the final step that the researcher took was to give a 25-item Problem Based Learning model questionnaire to students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model based on Mind Mapping on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 068007 Simalingkar in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental design, involving pretests and posttests to measure the improvement in students' critical thinking skills after the implementation of the learning model. The pretest results showed an average score of 60, which falls into the poor category, with the lowest score being 48 and the highest being 76. After the implementation of the Mind Mapping-based PBL model, the posttest results showed a significant improvement, with an average score reaching 88.2 in the very good category and a highest score of 100. The correlation test showed a figure of 0.878, indicating a very strong relationship between the Mind Mapping-based PBL model and students' critical thinking skills. The t-test results in a t-value of 9.702, which is greater than the table value of 2.048, meaning the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model based on Mind Mapping has a significant effect on the improvement of students' critical thinking skills. This research provides recommendations to teachers to develop skills in using various learning models, as well as to pay attention to students' learning difficulties in order to provide appropriate guidance. Future researchers are expected to develop this study to further enhance the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of differentiated learning assisted by animated video media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at UPTD SD Negeri 122345 Pematangsiantar in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This study uses an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were 30 fourth-grade students. The instruments used included learning outcome tests, student response questionnaires, and documentation. Data collection was carried out through learning outcome tests and student participation questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The pretest results showed an average value of student learning outcomes of 50.00 with a low category, while the posttest results increased to 70.00 with a high category. The Pearson correlation test produced a coefficient of 0.984. The t-count value is much greater than the r-table value of 0.349 at a significance level of 5% with 30 students as respondents, this indicates a strong relationship between the use of differentiated learning assisted by animated video media and students' mathematics learning outcomes. In addition, the results of the hypothesis test using the t-test obtained a calculated t value ≥ t table, namely 3.683 ≥ 1.714, which shows that there is a significant influence between differentiated learning assisted by animated video media on students' mathematics learning outcomes.
