Abstract

Pada industri pabrik gula, nira tebu digunakan sebagai bahan baku produksi awal yang berbentuk cairan berwarna hijau kecokelatan dan bersifat asam. Pada nira tebu terkandung sukrosa dan bahan lain seperti gula pereduksi (glukosa dan fruktosa), serat, zat lain. Sementara sifat asam yang ada pada nira berasal dari reaksi fermentasi bakteri Leuconostic. Reaksi yang terjadi yaitu inversi sukrosa ketika enzim invertase yang diproduksi oleh tanaman mencemari nira. Hal ini diikuti dengan penurunan pH akibat peningkatan keasaman. Apabila nira dalam kondisi asam, mikroorganisme akan berkembang biak dengan baik. Pertumbuhan mikroorganisme pada nira akan merusak nira sehingga nira akan sulit mengkristal. Cara untuk menghilangkan keasaman dalam larutan dengan menambahkan larutan alkali yaitu susu kapur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui optimasi penambahan susu kapur pada nira mentah terhadap pH dan volume endapan di PTPN XIV Unit Pabrik Gula Takalar. Variasi  susu kapur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 0,4 mL; 0,5 mL; 0,6 mL; 0,8 mL dan 1,2 mL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai optimum pH dan volume endapan tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan penambahan susu kapur sebanyak 1,2 mL dengan  pH 8,5 dan volume endapan 24 mL. Nilai pH dan volume endapan tersebut telah sesuai dengan standar pemurnian nira di PTPN XIV Unit Pabrik Gula Takalar.

Abstract

The potential for fisheries in Selat Nasik sub-district is high. A total of 742 people work as main fishermen. The fish commodities found in Selat Nasik have high economic value and have even become export commodities to various countries. The Selat Nasik sub-district area has its own uniqueness, therefore researchers conducted an analysis related to the level of fish consumption. The purpose of this study was to measure the value of fish consumption levels in Selat Nasik District, Belitung Regency. The method used in the withdrawal of samples uses a random method using a random sheet. Sampling is done directly by looking for respondents in Selat Nasik Subdistrict, precisely in Selat Nasik Village and Suak Gual Village. This research was conducted in August 2023. This study uses data analysis methods, namely analysis of fish consumption levels and uses quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results of the analysis show that the level of fish consumption is 71.42 kg / capita, this result shows a high category compared to the level of fish consumption nationally. Researchers took data from the level of fish consumption in the Nasik Strait from 2020-2022 with data on the level of fish consumption in 2023. The results of the regression analysis show that the level of fish consumption in Selat Nasik District has decreased due to a slope value of -0.4713 and an intershape value of 1023.3. The decline in fish consumption levels is due to various factors such as uncertain fishing seasons and expensive fish prices. This is because fishermen erratically go to sea during high wind weather conditions so that the supply of fish is not fulfilled. In addition, there are also lock down policies that cause restrictions in the use of transportation, causing movement to be very tight or limited.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the spread of information about mental health on social media, particularly X, using a Social Network Analysis (SNA) approach. Data were collected from tweets containing keywords such as ‘mental health,’ ‘depression,’ ‘anxiety,’ and ‘MentalHealthAwareness,’ which were then analyzed using Gephi software on 1 October 2024. The results showed that social networks related to mental health discussions on X are fragmented but have strong internal connectivity. Retweets proved to be the main mechanism for extending the reach of information, while hashtags helped consolidate discussions. While there were no accounts that acted as the main link between groups, there were several influential accounts that played an important role in information dissemination. The main challenge in disseminating information related to mental health is ensuring the validity of information sources and overcoming network fragmentation. X has proven to be effective in disseminating information widely, but specialized strategies are needed to reduce the spread of misinformation. This research provides insights into how social media can be optimally utilized for more effective mental health campaigns.  Keywords: Mental Health, Social Media, X, Social Network Analysis, Information Dissemination

Abstract

Reverse engineering is an innovation in product development. Existing products are analyzed for further development or performance enhancement. This research focuses on the application of reverse engineering methods to create a toolpost, considering the need for toolpost spare parts for conventional lathes, which still relies on imports and is often unavailable in the market due to the discontinuation of manufacturers. The stages involved include gathering product information, analyzing functional features, measuring and modeling the toolpost, and conducting manufacturability analysis through casting simulation. This casting simulation aims to identify potential defects before the toolpost design is realized in a finished product. The simulation results indicate a total porosity defect of 2%, with defect locations identified in the gating system area and the hole area of the toolpost. Although defects are present, the percentage and locations of these defects are deemed unlikely to affect the functionality of the toolpost. The optimal pouring time is 2.38 seconds, and cooling time is 201.3 seconds to prevent cracking and deformation.

Abstract

Abstract: Boyle's flask is an innovation by scientist Robert Boyle which utilizes gravity and water which can move continuously without external energy, but the results of his research have not yet been used to become a prototype for a power plant even though in theory it already meets the criteria to become a prototype for a power plant. This research aims to determine the design and development of a Boyle's flask-based hydroelectric generator prototype as science teaching material and to measure the amount of output power produced from the Boyle's flask-based hydroelectric generator prototype. The method used is development using the ADDIE model. The results of this research are: the design of a Boyle's flask-based hydroelectric power plant prototype as science teaching material and the magnitude of the electric current produced from the Boyle's flask-based hydroelectric power plant prototype and an analysis of the relationship between the size of the Boyle's flask-based hydroelectric power plant prototype. flask with a strong electric current that is produced cannot be done because liquid substances, namely water and salt water, cannot flow endlessly even though there have been changes in several variables (using 2.5 inch and 0.25 inch hoses, using water and salt water which have different densities).

Abstract

The development of Islamic teachings in the archipelago cannot be separated from the role of Walisongo. Walisongo preached and broadcast Islamic teachings in Java in the 14th century. Long before Walisongo’s arrival, they still used a da’wah system with the pattern of inviting communities of various beliefs to follow Islamic teachings and this took place with little response because the community still strongly followed the traditions of their ancestral religious teachings. After Walisongo’s arrival, the da’wah system used implemented several methods that attempted to change old things that were not in accordance with Islam through a cultural approach. With the da’wah methods used by Walisongo, Islam quickly entered and developed in the archipelago. The propagation of Islam in the process of its spread in Java has been etched in history and the success of the Guardians is recognized as having expanded the adherents of the Islamic religion to the majority of Indonesian society, especially Java, both in urban, rural and mountainous areas. This is proven by the construction of mosques as places of worship and as places to teach religion. This research aims to determine the role and methods of da’wah used by Walisongo in the development of Islamic culture in Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and literature study as a data collection technique.

Abstract

Ketidaksetaraan pendidikan masih menjadi tantangan besar dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia, terutama dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Artikel ini membahas bagaimana optimalisasi sumber ajar dapat menjadi solusi untuk menghadapi tantangan educational inequality.  Dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research), penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab ketidaksetaraan, seperti keterbatasan anggaran pendidikan, distribusi sumber ajar yang tidak merata, dan kualitas guru yang belum optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi digital, pelatihan guru, dan kolaborasi dengan lembaga keagamaan serta komunitas dapat memperbaiki akses dan kualitas sumber ajar dalam PAI. Dengan strategi ini diharapkan kesenjangan pendidikan dapat dikurangi dan kualitas pembelajaran PAI menjadi lebih merata di seluruh Indonesia.

Abstract

Pengenalan algoritma dan pemrograman dasar merupakan langkah awal yang penting dalam membangun pemahaman mengenai logika komputasi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan konsep algoritma, dasar-dasar pemrograman, serta implementasi struktur data sederhana. Penekanan diberikan pada pengaplikasian algoritma dalam menyelesaikan masalah sehari-hari dan bagaimana struktur data seperti array, linked list, dan stack dapat digunakan untuk mengelola data secara efisien. Dengan pendekatan praktis dan studi kasus, diharapkan pembaca dapat memahami prinsip-prinsip dasar pemrograman dan mulai mengembangkan solusi berbasis komputer untuk berbagai tantangan.

Abstract

This research purpose is to analyze the legal position of agreements between music labels and composers using sold flat agreement systems and analyze the regulation after the Constitutional Court decision Number 63/PU/XIX/2021. This type of research is a normative legal research method that originates from the regulations of Act Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright. The legal validity of the agreement between the music label and the composer in the sold flat agreement systems before the enactment of Act Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright that is, legally and formally null and void, because creations in Article 18 of Act Number 28 of 2014 are the object of the agreement and are prohibited from being sold by Sold flat system. The economic rights of the creator in this case the composer automatically returns to the creator. Regulation of agreements between music labels and composers under the Constitutional Court decision Number 63/PU/XIX/2021 that the judicial review submitted by Musica Studios is final so that Article 18 and Article 30 of Act Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright do not contradict with the 1945 Constitution. Act Number 28 of 2014 restores fundamental rights owned by the creator, the fundamental rights owned by creators both moral rights and economic rights and the composer can still make an agreement with the Music Label regarding the rights to use the work for commercialization, with the implication that the creator/composer will still receive royalties as long as the work is commercialized.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of the Institute for the Study of Food, Drugs, and Cosmetics Indonesian Council of Ulama (LPPOM MUI) in supervising and enforcing regulations related to halal certification in the frozen food culinary business in Mataram City and to find out how Halal Product Guarantee Organizing Agency (BPJPH) and LPPOM MUI can increase the effectiveness of supervision and law enforcement related to regulating halal certification in the frozen food culinary business in Mataram City. The type of research used in this research is Normative-Empirical Legal Research, using a statutory approach, a conceptual approach, and a sociological approach. From the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there are two roles of LPPOM MUI, namely as a guardian of the halal quality of frozen food products and as an examiner or tester of the halal quality of frozen food products. Meanwhile, the way for BPJPH and LPPOM MUI to increase the effectiveness of supervision and law enforcement related to regulating halal certification in the frozen food culinary business in Mataram City is by strengthening cooperation between BPJPH and LPPOM MUI, strengthening information technology, strict sanctions, and involving community involvement.
