Abstract

The implementation of the Kulliyatul Mu'alimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) curriculum in Islamic boarding schools is crucial for the development of quality education in Indonesia. This study focuses on the implementation of the KMI curriculum at Darusy Syahadah Islamic Boarding School Boyolali and Ta’mirul Islam Islamic Boarding School Sragen. Utilizing a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal the comprehensive planning, execution, and evaluation of the curriculum. Despite facing challenges such as integration with graduation competency standards, excessive subject load, limited resources, and teacher constraints, the schools employ various strategies including curriculum adjustments, teacher training, and student support mechanisms to enhance implementation. The leadership role of school administrators, effective curriculum coordination, and continuous evaluation mechanisms play pivotal roles in addressing challenges and improving curriculum implementation. This study underscores the importance of adaptive strategies and collaborative efforts in ensuring the effectiveness of the KMI curriculum in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Islamic da'wah in the era of digital technology has undergone a major transformation with the presence of social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Muhammadiyah, as one of the largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia, seeks to optimize digital media to spread Wasathiyah Islamic values more widely and quickly. The main challenge in digital da'wah is to ensure that the information conveyed remains accurate and does not cause misinformation. Haedar Nashir, Chairman of Muhammadiyah, emphasized the importance of combining fiqh on social media with public ethics, as well as involving the younger generation in digital da'wah to ensure that the message of da'wah remains relevant and acceptable to various levels of society. With an innovative and responsive strategy, Muhammadiyah da'wah is expected to be able to answer the challenges of the times while maintaining Islamic principles in facing the era of disruption.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of faith-based approaches, especially Islamic Religious Education (PAI), in preventing free sex behavior in the school environment. The research method involves collecting primary data through interviews with principals, religious teachers, and students, observation of student behavior, and related documentation. Secondary data were obtained from public sources related to the organizational structure and role of PAI at SMPN 1 Jogorogo. The validity of the data is obtained through careful observation and using triangulation, both from the source and the method. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model, involves the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The conclusion of this study shows that religious approaches, through study and tahfidz activities, are effective in reducing cases of juvenile delinquency. Challenges faced, such as student disobedience and lack of parental involvement, can be addressed by strengthening communication between schools and families.

Abstract

This research is based on the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), which continues to grow rapidly and unstoppably, so it has a big influence on the spread of Islamic religious knowledge. The open learning course is a system that will be developed for the current era. However, Islamic educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools, still maintain the classical world of learning? The purpose of this article is to assess the perceptions of managers of Islamic educational institutions, especially at Ma'had Al-Ittihad Islami Camplong, regarding online-based open learning courses. The method used is qualitative with observation and distributing questionnaires to collect data. The results show that the majority of administrators at Ma'had Al-Ittihad Islami Camplong prefer to maintain traditional learning models rather than trying to adopt open learning courses, due to a lack of references and understanding regarding open learning courses. Therefore, socialization efforts are needed regarding open learning courses and the importance of spreading Islamic religious knowledge that is brsanad and mutawatir (continued) in the current context.
