This research is purpose to describe a model for developing school quality through the implementation of character education-based extracurricular at Birrul Walidain’s Muhammadiyah Middle School and Integrated Islamic Junior High School’s Az-Zahro Sragen. The type of this research used Field Research, with a qualitative approach. The object of this research are Birrul walidain’s Muhammadiyah Middle School and Integrated Islamic Junior High School’s Az-Zahro Sragen. The subject of this research include the Headmaster, vise principal of student affairs, extracurricular coordinator and students. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity using triangulation. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner.The result of the study show that the implementation of improving school quality through the implementation of character education-based extracurricular is carried out in the following steps (1) Making continuous improvement. School always make continuous improvement to unsure that all component of education providers can realize the vision, mission and goals of the school. (2) Setting quality standards. The intended quality standard is to determine the quality assurance of student’s character. Ownership of these character becomes specifications for student’s graduation which consists of object, aspect, and assessment instrument. (3) Carrying out cultural changes. The purpose of this concept is to form a school culture that respect quality as the orientation of all school stakeholder. (4) Changing the organization. This change concern the duties and authorities and responsibilities of teachers carried out through a decentralized approach. (5) maintaining good relations with customers to obtain customer satisfaction.The goal of extracurricular in character education is to integrated extracurricular materials with the noble values of the nation so it can be internalized into behavior that is manifested in student’s daily activities so it can become a habit. Metode pembelajaran aktif atau Active Learning adalah urutan kegiatan proses pembelajaran yang sistematik dan berfokus terhadap keaktifan siswa, di mana guru memiliki posisi sebagai fasilitator yang membuat suasana belajar menjadi lebih ideal dan menghidupkan suasana agar peserta didik menjadi aktif. Pembelajaran aktif berprinsip bahwa yang belajar adalah siswa. Maka tugas guru adalah membantu siswa belajar dengan baik. Kurangnya tenaga pendidik yang ahli dalam metode pembelajaran aktif menjadi permasalahan tersendiri bagi kalangan akademisi. Terutama di lingkungan pondok pesatren yang menyebabkan siswa kurang termotivasi dalam belajar. Kenyataannya di dalam proses pembelajaran, baik di dalam pembelajaran nasional maupun pembelajaran yang bersifat agama cenderung banyak terpusat pada strategi pembelajaran klasik yang kurang adanya interaksi antara guru dan siswa. Di mana siswa hanya lebih banyak pasif sebagai pendengar. Maka penulis memberikan solusi sebagai bentuk kegiatan pengabdian: pertama, melakukan pelatihan dan sosialisasi berupa Workshop kepada para guru dan staff kependidikan Pesantren Muhammadiyah se-Boyolali mengenai strategi pembelajaran aktif. Solusi tersebut diharapkan mampu memberikan bekal pengetahuan dan skill mengenai pembelajaran aktif dan dapat diaplikasikan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga dapat lebih maksimal dan berdampak pada semangat belajar siswa yang meningkat. Kedua, di sisi lain di saat yang sama melakukan pendampingan kepada para guru ketika menerapkan strategi pembelajaran aktif ketika mengajar siswa, harapannya ada feedback dan evaluasi terhadap strategi pembelajaran aktif yang sudah dilakukan sehingga dapat dilakukan perbaikan-perbaikan yang dapat menjadikan lebih baik lagi dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif.

: Identity politics is political strategy that uses social identities such as ethnicity, religion, and gender to gain electoral support. This article explains how the phenomenon and influence of identity politics in Indonesia, the issue of identity politics in the 2024 elections and identity politics based on Islamic teaching sources. Identity politics can be positive or negative. Positive in nature means that it makes an impetus to recognize and accommodate the existence of comparisons, even to the extent of recognizing the predicate or privilege of a region or nation due to a basis that can be understood historically and logically. It is negative when there is a difference between one group and another, for example the domination between the majority and the minority. Identity politics grows over a social group that considers intimidated and discriminated against by government and state power in regulating government order, this condition which then becomes the basis for the birth of identity politics in state issues.

Religious plurality anywhere in the world, except for certain places, is a reality that cannot be denied. Contacts between communities of different cultures are increasing. Indonesia is known as a pluralistic society, this can be seen from the existing social reality. Evidence of its plurality can also be proven through the motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. multicultural education is a solution to calm as well as a solution to education in Indonesia. This work was compiled based on data in the form of library research with a philological-phenomenological approach. From this study, it was found that the values of multicultural education can be found in the Qur'an and Hadith and can be implemented by implementing several things such as building an inclusive religious paradigm in the school environment, respecting language diversity in schools, building gender sensitive attitudes in schools, building critical understanding of social differences, building anti-ethnic discrimination attitudes, respecting differences in abilities, and respecting age differences.

Sexual education in Islamic boarding schools has an important role in shaping the social life of students and protecting them from the risk of sexual violence. However, with the times and needs, there is a need for a more assertive sexual education system, so that the students want to obey the rules. This study aims to identify the implementation of sexual education in the MA Ma'ahid Kudus Islamic boarding school. The research involved respondents and relevant sources and then analyzed sex education at the MA Ma'ahid Kudus Islamic boarding school. This research invites parents, surrounding people, and asatidz to care about sexual education for students so that students can be guided and stay on the right path, and can respond so that sexual harassment does not occur.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam mengembangkan sikap toleransi peserta didik di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pendekatan penelitian berupa fenomenologi. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analis model Miles dan Huberman dengan melalui 3 tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru telah melakukan berbagai upaya dalam mengembangkan sikap toleransi kepada siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura sehingga peserta didik normal dan berkebutuhan khusus mendapatkan kesempatan dan hak yang sama dalam memperoleh pendidikan. Dari penelitian tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa strategi guru dalam menanamkan sikap toleransi peserta didik di sekolah tersebut adalah dengan: penyusunan RPP, memberikan nasihat atau teguran kepada peserta didik, menjadi contoh atau teladan dalam berperilaku, menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok dalam pembelajaran, dan membiasakan semua peserta didik untuk saling berbaur melalui kegiatan rutin sekolah tanpa membeda-bedakan mereka.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tahapan pelaksanaan bimbingan karir dan kebermanfaatan pelaksanaan bimbingan karir. Metode penelitian yaitu kualitatif yang menggunakan jenis penelitian penelitian lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data yaitu Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (Guru BK), Guru Mata Pelajaran, dan Siswa kelas XII SMA Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar PK Kartasura penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan karir di SMA Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar PK Kartasura memiliki empat tahapan yaitu tahap penyadaran diri, tahap penjagaan pilihan (eksplorasi), tahap mengampil keputusan, tahap perencanaan tindakan. Bimbingan karir di SMA Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar PK Kartasura bermanfaat karena dengan adanya bimbingan karir dapat meningkatkan minat siswa untuk melanjutkan studi ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Kesimpulannya yaitu bimbingan karir terbukti memberikan manfaat yang baik dalam membantu siswa, khususnya di kelas dua belas SMA Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar PK Kartasura, untuk meningkatkan kematangan mereka dalam mengeksplorasi pilihan karir. Aspek sikap dan kompetensi siswa mengalami perkembangan positif melalui layanan bimbingan karir. Kata kunci: bimbingan karir, studi lanjutan , tahapan bimbingan karir

This study aims to determine the development and direction of Islamic Social Education research in publications indexed by Scopus. The study employs bibliometric analysis techniques to explore all publications on social Islamic Education indexed in the Scopus database from 1978 to 2023. The data was analyzed using Excel and R/R-Studio, and VOSviewer was used to perform visual analysis of the simultaneous occurrence of keywords and document citations. The author found 626 publications that fit the function, subject, and criteria set. The results show an annual growth rate of 9.27%, with the majority of publications on Islamic social education in 2022. Indonesia contributes the most publications, with the highest affiliation in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Hoechner, H is the most prolific writer on the theme of Islamic social education. The bibliometric analysis performed was limited to Scopus data only, and other national and international databases were not taken into account. This study presents a brief overview of the literature accessible to researchers working in education and provides recommendations for future research.

This research examines tolerance between sects in Islam from the perspective of Muhammadiyah. Different perspectives in Islam have given rise to various sects that often intersect with each other. The purpose of this research is to find out the limits of tolerance between Muslims of different sects and Muhammadiyah's attitude towards certain sects such as LDII, Ahmadiyah, Shia, and Kejawen. This research was conducted because of the importance of understanding the attitude of tolerance in Islamic diversity to maintain community harmony. The method used is qualitative research based on literature study. The results show that Muhammadiyah puts forward the principles of moderation and openness in addressing differences in sects, but still has boundaries based on Islamic teachings that are firmly held. The findings are expected to provide a better understanding of tolerance in Islamic diversity. Penelitian ini mengkaji toleransi antar sekte dalam Islam dari perspektif Muhammadiyah. Perbedaan cara pandang dalam Islam telah memunculkan berbagai aliran yang seringkali bersinggungan satu sama lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui batas-batas toleransi antar umat Islam yang berbeda aliran dan sikap Muhammadiyah terhadap aliran-aliran tertentu seperti LDII, Ahmadiyah, Syiah, dan Kejawen. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena pentingnya memahami sikap toleransi dalam keberagaman Islam untuk menjaga kerukunan umat. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif berdasarkan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Muhammadiyah mengedepankan prinsip-prinsip moderasi dan keterbukaan dalam mwords: tolerance between sects, Muhammadiyah perspective, Islamic tolerance.enyikapi perbedaan aliran, namun tetap memiliki batasan-batasan berdasarkan ajaran Islam yang dipegang teguh. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang toleransi dalam keberagaman Islam.

The implementation of the Merdeka curriculum is one of the efforts undertaken by SMA Al-Islam 1 Surakarta to address learning loss. The objective of this study is to explore the relationship between learning loss and the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum at SMA Al-Islam 1 Surakarta. A qualitative research method with a case study design was employed for this study. The research focuses on depicting the initiatives of SMA Al-Islam 1 Surakarta in implementing the Merdeka curriculum and assessing the effectiveness of the Merdeka curriculum in mitigating learning loss. The research findings indicate that students experience learning loss in the form of decreased learning motivation, declining academic performance, and the emergence of undesirable behaviors. However, the school can minimize these issues by implementing aspects of the Merdeka curriculum, such as project-based assessments and differentiated learning methods. These strategies aim to provide students with a sense of achievement and cater to their individual learning needs.
