Abstract

Production of white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) in 2024 is targeted by the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Affairs to be increased by producing 2 million tons / year. However, in fact, in 2022 white shrimp production is 1.09 million tons, so to achieve the target, new technology and innovation are needed. The obstacle experienced with freshwater cultivation is the low mineral that plays an important role in the growth of white shrimp. To be able to cultivate white shrimp in fresh water, it is necessary to first conduct a study on the manipulation of aquaculture water with freshwater, salt and bittern components as mineral sources. The purpose of this study is to test the combination of components of artificial water media for white shrimp farming and analyze the mineral content. The study will be conducted from March to April 2024. The method used is an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Data collection is carried out by field observation and literature study. The research procedures carried out were bittern and salt collection and white shrimp sampling, media preparation, mineral test on water as culture media, white shrimp stocking, white shrimp rearing, morphology and survival rate tests and viscosity tests to review osmoregulation in white shrimp and data analysis. Data analysis was performed using Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA) with PAST 4.03 software. The mineral content produced is directly proportional to the amount of dose given. The best dose of bittern in this study is in treatment C with a dose of 15 ml which has a calcium content of 45.2 mg/L, magnesium 155 mg/L, and potassium 73.89 mg/L.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The implementation of Information Technology at XYZ Hospital serves as a key driver in enhancing the efficiency of healthcare services, but it also raises the organization’s vulnerability to significant operational risks. The primary risks identified involve inaccurate data resulting from human mistakes, breakdowns in system interoperability, and the deterioration of hardware infrastructure that may interfere with patient care. This research seeks to assess the governance of IT risk management and determine the organization’s capability level using the COBIT 5.0 framework, focusing on the APO12 (Manage Risk) domain. The study employs qualitative methods, gathering information through interviews and direct observations, and then conducts a gap analysis to compare the current state (As-Is) with the desired future state (To-Be). Findings show that the organization’s capability is currently at Level 2 (Managed Process) with a score of 1.87, which is still below the intended maturity level of 3 (Established Process) at 2.94. These results indicate that risk management activities are still largely reactive and rely on intuition, with no standardized procedures embedded within the institution. Ultimately, the study suggests formalizing a Risk Register, standardizing mitigation procedures through established SOPs, and developing a Disaster Recovery Plan to strengthen risk governance into a more systematic, preventive, and resilient framework.

Abstract

this study aims to develop teaching materials for writing short stories with the help of Moodle with a differentiated learning approach at SMA Triguna 1956 to overcome student demotivation and the limitations of conventional methods. Using the Research and Development (RD) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model, this research involves needs analysis, expert validation (media and materials), and trials to grade XI students. The validation results showed a very high level of eligibility, namely 91.07% (media experts) and 88.3% (material experts), while the students' trial obtained an average score of above 74%, proving that this teaching material is effective and suitable for use. The research findings revealed that the integration of Moodle with a differentiation approach successfully facilitated more adaptive learning, although further testing in various school contexts was required, technology training for students, and the development of materials for other language skills. This study makes a significant contribution to the development of differentiation-based digital teaching materials, with recommendations for further research to evaluate its long-term impact.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of creative thinking skills among junior high school students in the subject of flat-sided solid geometry and the dominance of conventional learning methods that do not encourage concept exploration. This study aims to describe the application of the GeoGebra-assisted Discovery Learning model and examine the improvement in students' creative thinking skills. This research employed a classroom action research design through the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were eighth-grade junior high school students. The instruments used included a creative thinking ability test, observation sheets, and documentation. The results showed an increase in creative thinking skills in each cycle, as indicated by improvements in the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Learning became more interactive, students were more active in exploring concepts, and were able to find various problem-solving strategies. Theoretically, these results reinforce the constructivist paradigm that mathematical creativity develops through structured exploration and discovery. Practically, this model can be an alternative for learning spatial geometry by paying attention to time management and optimal syntax implementation.

Abstract

Intensive cultivation of Tilapia with high stock density and continuous artificial feeding will decrease the water quality and increase the growth of pathogenic bacteria. That situation led to the fish stressed so that the fish become the target of bacterial pathogen attacks. Alternatively, the environmental friendly treatment using herbal immunostimulant to solve that problem is required. The herbal in this study used neem leaf (Azadirachta indica A. Juss). The aim of this study was to evaluate ethanol fraction of neem leaf on immunostimulant activity of Oreochromis niloticus. In this study, the extraction method used maceration. Fractionation methods were using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and Column Chromatography (CC). The biological component was analyzed using Phytochemical, FTIR and GC-MS methods. TLC test showed that ethyl acetate: n-hexane (1:1, v/v) result in brightest luminescence colors on the plates of silica gel under UV light (365 nm). The chromatography column from the ethanol extract of neem leaf (A. indica A. Juss) showed that separation of the fraction was done based on the formation of color, which obtained 5 (five) types of fractions. The results of the phytochemical test for the fraction 4 of neem leaf contains two compounds, i.e. flavonoids (+) and triterpenoids (++). The FTIR test showed that fraction 4 of neem leaves contain a class of terpenoid and flavonoid compounds. GCMS test results on fraction 4 of the neem leaves (A. indica A. Juss) obtained the high peak, which has 4 terpenoid compounds, 1 compound of flavonoid, and 1 type of lauric acid. The total leukocyte of the fish test increased after treated with fraction 4 of neem leaf (A. indica A. Juss) compared with control on day 7 after injection, i.e. 25.29 x 104 cells.mL-1.Keywords: fraction, leukocyte, Neem Leaves, Tilapia, Phytochemicals.

Abstract

Accumulated the toxic compound such as lead in A. woodiana caused an alteration in tissue. The aim of the present study is observation through histology to determine the alteration of the structure of digestive diverticulum tissue. A. woodiana were maintained in water tub that treated lead II nitrate exposure (Pb(NO3)2) 0, 15, 25, 35 mgL-1 for 7 days to determine the alteration of the structure of damaged the digestive diverticulum and determining water quality such temperature, DO and pH. The highest damage occurs in digestive diverticulum treated 35 mgL-1  due to the many alteration tissue structure such as hyperplasia, edema, atrophy, necrosis with the percentage of total damage of about 35%. the lowest alteration tissue structure occurs in 15 mgL-1 treatment group of the digestive diverticulum. the temperature was observed at about 25.3 - 26.4°C, pH about 6-7, and DO about 6.1-6.7 mgL-1. Thus, the increment of lead dose treatment induces increment of tissue structure alteration in digestive diverticula tissue, therefore, might promote the death of Anodonta woodiana.
