Abstract

Intensive cultivation of Tilapia with high stock density and continuous artificial feeding will decrease the water quality and increase the growth of pathogenic bacteria. That situation led to the fish stressed so that the fish become the target of bacterial pathogen attacks. Alternatively, the environmental friendly treatment using herbal immunostimulant to solve that problem is required. The herbal in this study used neem leaf (Azadirachta indica A. Juss). The aim of this study was to evaluate ethanol fraction of neem leaf on immunostimulant activity of Oreochromis niloticus. In this study, the extraction method used maceration. Fractionation methods were using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and Column Chromatography (CC). The biological component was analyzed using Phytochemical, FTIR and GC-MS methods. TLC test showed that ethyl acetate: n-hexane (1:1, v/v) result in brightest luminescence colors on the plates of silica gel under UV light (365 nm). The chromatography column from the ethanol extract of neem leaf (A. indica A. Juss) showed that separation of the fraction was done based on the formation of color, which obtained 5 (five) types of fractions. The results of the phytochemical test for the fraction 4 of neem leaf contains two compounds, i.e. flavonoids (+) and triterpenoids (++). The FTIR test showed that fraction 4 of neem leaves contain a class of terpenoid and flavonoid compounds. GCMS test results on fraction 4 of the neem leaves (A. indica A. Juss) obtained the high peak, which has 4 terpenoid compounds, 1 compound of flavonoid, and 1 type of lauric acid. The total leukocyte of the fish test increased after treated with fraction 4 of neem leaf (A. indica A. Juss) compared with control on day 7 after injection, i.e. 25.29 x 104 cells.mL-1.Keywords: fraction, leukocyte, Neem Leaves, Tilapia, Phytochemicals.

Abstract

Accumulated the toxic compound such as lead in A. woodiana caused an alteration in tissue. The aim of the present study is observation through histology to determine the alteration of the structure of digestive diverticulum tissue. A. woodiana were maintained in water tub that treated lead II nitrate exposure (Pb(NO3)2) 0, 15, 25, 35 mgL-1 for 7 days to determine the alteration of the structure of damaged the digestive diverticulum and determining water quality such temperature, DO and pH. The highest damage occurs in digestive diverticulum treated 35 mgL-1  due to the many alteration tissue structure such as hyperplasia, edema, atrophy, necrosis with the percentage of total damage of about 35%. the lowest alteration tissue structure occurs in 15 mgL-1 treatment group of the digestive diverticulum. the temperature was observed at about 25.3 - 26.4°C, pH about 6-7, and DO about 6.1-6.7 mgL-1. Thus, the increment of lead dose treatment induces increment of tissue structure alteration in digestive diverticula tissue, therefore, might promote the death of Anodonta woodiana. Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of the management of Physical and Non-Physical Special Allocation Funds (DAK) and its impact on improving the quality of education in Indonesia across early childhood, basic, and secondary education levels. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method on literature from 2015–2025 sourced from Google Scholar, this study identifies that DAK has significantly succeeded in reducing educational infrastructure disparities and supporting digital learning transformation. Although the budget absorption rate is predominantly high, management effectiveness at the school level is still hampered by delays in the issuance of Technical Guidelines, complex administrative bureaucracy, the low managerial capacity of financial managers (principals and treasurers), and the weak preventive role of school committees and supervisors. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the size of the DAK budget must be accompanied by the simplification of reporting regulations, systematic technical guidance, and solid digital integration to ensure transparency, accountability, and a real correlation to the quality of student output.

Abstract

AbstractStudents’ low levels of mathematical literacy and learning interest indicate a need for effective instructional approaches that can address both cognitive and affective learning outcomes. Comparative studies on the effectiveness of the RME and scientific approaches in improving mathematical literacy and learning interest remain limited, especially at the SMP level. This study examines the effectiveness of each approach and compares their impact on students’ mathematical literacy and learning interest. This study employed a quantitative approach using a pretest–posttest control group design. The population of the study consisted of all seventh-grade students at a public SMP in Yogyakarta. The sample comprised 64 students from two seventh-grade classes. The participants were selected using convenience sampling. The experimental group received RME-based instruction, while the control group was taught using the scientific approach. MANOVA results show that both approaches significantly improve mathematical literacy and learning interest. However, no significant difference was found between the two groups, as indicated by a p-value > 0.05. These findings suggest that both approaches are equally effective. The study provides insight for teachers in applying context-based learning. Future research may explore digital-based strategies to further support mathematical literacy and learning interest.

Abstract

Gunungkidul Regency is a karst region that is vulnerable to drought due to the low ability of the soil to retain water. This has a significant impact on the provision of forage for the livestock sector. This community service aims to improve animal feed independence through the application of irrigation technology and legume plant integrity in marginal land in Duwet Village, using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach method which is divided into 4 (four) stages: Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC). This activity includes field surveys, socialization, initial assessment, participatory installation, as well as technical assistance and ongoing monitoring. After 8 (eight) harvests, the application of sprinkler irrigation was able to increase and stabilize forage productivity in the range of 16-17 kg/m2. The integration of legume plants contributes to improving soil fertility through nitrogen fixation, this is what supports the sustainable growth of forage crops. Total forage production varied between locations, ranging from 0.40 to 1.57 tonnes, indicating the influence of specific factors such as soil conditions, water availability, and farming management. The program also demonstrated success in increasing the capacity and participation of livestock groups, as evidenced by the high level of involvement in system installation and management. Operational costs, technology maintenance, and the need for a more adaptive approach to local conditions are challenges faced in this activity. However, overall, the program is quite effective in supporting livestock feed security and reducing dependence on traditional patterns, and has the potential to be replicated with adjustments based on regional characteristics.

Abstract

Although the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka has received attention in various studies, research specifically examining its implementation in the context of integrated Islamic schools, particularly at SMP IT Assalam Riau, remains limited. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at SMP IT Assalam Riau, covering the aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving informants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies, and were then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results showed that the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka was carried out through intracurricular learning, the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), and extracurricular activities. The school demonstrated fairly good readiness through teacher training, learning communities, and foundation support. However, the implementation still faced obstacles in the form of limited technological facilities, teachers’ administrative workload, and the process of adapting to the new learning system. The conclusion of this study affirms that teacher readiness, institutional support from the school, and the integration of Islamic values are important factors in supporting the successful implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in integrated Islamic schools. These findings contribute to the development of educational policy studies and broaden understanding of the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in the context of integrated Islamic institutions, while also providing practical implications for educational institutions in optimizing curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation.
