Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Example Non Example modifikasi metode tutor sebaya terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis dan koneksi matematis peserta didik pada materi bangun ruang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dan populasinya yaitu peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Al Huda Jati Agung, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Random Sampling didapat sampelnya yaitu kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas konvensional. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji manova. Menurut hasil analisis, terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Example Non Example modifikasi metode tutor sebaya terhadap kemampuan penalaran dan koneksi matematis peserta didik. Model pembelajaran ini membuat suasana belajar menjadi lebih aktif dan peserta didik tidak malu bertanya jika mereka kurang paham karena adanya tutor sebaya. Maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Example Non Example modifikasi metode tutor sebaya terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis dan koneksi matematis peserta didik.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis yang disertai dengan tingginya anxienty yang ada dalam diri peserta didik menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat terbesar dalam proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran yang efektif akan mampu mengubah kemampuan berpikir kritis menjadi tinggi dan mengurangi anxienty peserta didik melalui penggunaan model yang tepat oleh pendidik. Pemilihan model pembelajaran oleh pendidik menjadikan pusat kesuksesan seorang peserta didik dalam belajar, untuk menghasilkan hasil belajar yang lebih baik lagi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Means Ends Analysis berbasis mind mapping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan anxienty peserta didik kelas X pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan weak eksperimental design dengan The One-Group Pretest-Postest Control Group Design dan teknik sampling yang dilakukan yaitu teknik acak kelas dengan perolehan penelitian di kelas (X MIPA 3, X MIPA 4, dan X MIPA 5). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan telah diuji kevalidan yang menghasilkan 10 soal tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berupa essay, 30 pernyataan angket anxienty dan 30 pernyataan angket respon peserta didik. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Manova dengan perolehan nilai N-gain kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas X MIPA 3 sebesar 0,65, X MIPA 4 sebesar 0,70 dan X MIPA 5 sebesar 0,62, nilai G-gain anxienty kelas X MIPA 3 sebesar 0,97, X MIPA 4 sebesar 0,84 dan X MIPA 5 sebesar 0,97. Disimpulkan dengan perolehan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 artinya bahwa adanya pengaruh model Means Ends Analysis berbasis mind mapping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan anxienty peserta didik kelas X di SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dalam publikasi penelitian etnomatematika, namun skor literasi matematika siswa Indonesia pada PISA 2022 masih jauh di bawah rata-rata OECD, menunjukkan kesenjangan antara penelitian etnomatematika dan dampaknya terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan penelitian etnomatematika pada periode 2020-2024, visualisasi jaringan kata kunci, dampak publikasi, serta tantangan dan peluang penelitian etnomatematika di Sekolah Menengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan bibliometrik, menganalisis 59 dokumen dari Scopus melalui perangkat lunak Publish or Perish dan VOSviewer . Hasil menunjukkan mengalami fluktuasi publikasi pada periode 2020-2024, terjadi penyiaran terbesar pada tahun 2023 (27,12% dari total publikasi) dan Indonesia menjadi negara dengan kontribusi terbesar. Visualisasi kata kunci identifikasi 14 cluster , dengan fokus pada Etnomatematika, Geometri, dan Ilmu Komputer . Dampak penelitian diukur dari sitasi, artikel yang berdampak besar ditulis oleh Suherman yang berjudul “ Assessment of Mathematical Creative Thinking ” memiliki 57 sitasi. Tantangan utama adalah terbatasnya kolaborasi internasional, sementara kata kunci baru seperti Gaya Pembelajaran, Augmented Reality, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Numerasi, Triangulasi, Penelitian Kualitatif, dan Orisinalitas . membuka peluang penelitian di masa depan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect influence between reasoning skills and reflective thinking skills on mathematical critical thinking skills through students' self-confidence. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational methods and path analysis. The research population is grade VIII students of State Junior High School in Sukarame District with a sample of 288 students selected using stratified random sampling techniques. The research instruments include reasoning ability tests, reflective thinking ability tests, mathematical critical thinking ability tests, and self-confidence questionnaires that have met valid and reliable criteria. The results showed that reasoning skills and reflective thinking skills had a positive and significant effect on self confidence by 0.247 and 0.186, respectively. In addition, reasoning skills, reflective thinking skills, and self-confidence have a positive and significant effect on mathematical critical thinking skills with a path coefficient of 0.183 each; 0,188; and 0.224. The results of the mediation test showed that self confidence did not significantly mediate the influence of reasoning ability and reflective thinking ability on mathematical critical thinking ability. Simultaneously, the three variables contributed 43.0% to the ability to think critically mathematically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-regulated learning and self-efficacy on the ability to understand mathematical concepts and their impact on mathematical representation abilities. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with ex-post facto. The sample in this study consisted of upper-level students selected using a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires for self-regulated learning and self-efficacy as well as tests to measure conceptual understanding and mathematical representation abilities. Data analysis in this study used path analysis. The results of this study illustrate that self-regulated learning and self-efficacy have a significant positive impact on conceptual understanding abilities. In addition, conceptual understanding also has a significant impact on the ability to perform mathematical representation. Self-regulated learning and self-efficacy also have an indirect influence on mathematical representation abilities through conceptual understanding. These findings demonstrate the importance of strengthening self-regulated learning and self-confidence in the mathematics learning process to improve students' conceptual understanding and mathematical representation abilities.

Abstract

This study was conducted to address the low level of students’ mathematical communication skills in learning mathematics. It aimed to develop a game-based mathematics learning media using Educaplay integrated with the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to improve students’ mathematical communication skills on relations and functions material. The research was carried out at a junior high school involving 28 eighth-grade students. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and mathematical communication skill tests (pre-test and post-test).The results showed that the developed media was valid and feasible to use. The effectiveness test indicated an I ncrease in students’ average score from 51.92 in the pre-test to 76.82 in the post-test, with an N-Gain score of 0.56 (moderate category). This improvement reflects a moderate increase in students’ mathematical communication skills, particularly in visual representation and mathematical expression indicators. However, the improvement in written communication skills was relatively lower.These findings suggest that Educaplay-based learning media with the CTL approach is effective in improving students’ mathematical communication skills, although further development is needed to optimize written communication aspects. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis game Educaplay yang terintegrasi dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) guna meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik pada materi relasi dan fungsi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu SMP dengan melibatkan 28 peserta didik kelas VIII. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket respons peserta didik, serta tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis (pre-test dan post-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata nilai peserta didik dari 51,92 pada pre-test menjadi 76,82 pada post-test dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,56 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Peningkatan tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik pada kategori sedang, terutama pada indikator representasi visual dan ekspresi matematis. Namun, peningkatan pada aspek komunikasi tertulis masih relatif lebih rendah. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran berbasis Educaplay dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik, meskipun masih diperlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk mengoptimalkan aspek komunikasi tertulis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of self-efficacy and work motivation on the performance of teachers at private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Teacher performance is an important factor in determining the quality of learning and educational outcomes, which is influenced not only by competence but also by psychological and motivational factors. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of teachers from private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Natar District, with the sample selected through an appropriate sampling technique. Data were collected using validated and reliable questionnaires and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that self-efficacy has a significant effect on teacher performance. In addition, work motivation also significantly influences teacher performance. Simultaneously, self-efficacy and work motivation contribute significantly to improving teacher performance. The novelty of this study lies in providing empirical evidence on the integrated role of psychological and motivational factors in enhancing teacher performance in private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

STEM learning is a process of improving one's mathematical critical thinking skills in the twenty-first century. The study aimed to compare the mathematical skills of critical thinking between genders through STEM learning. The researchers employed the quasi-experiment design with 2 x 2 factorial designs and a simple random sampling technique. The research data were collected using tests to assess students' mathematical critical thinking skills. The normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests analysis were performed using two-way ANOVA. The research findings are as follows: (1) there were differences between STEM and conventional learning in mathematical critical thinking skills. STEM learning through technological integration is more effective than conventional learning; (2) there was a difference in the mathematical critical thinking skills results between male and female students, with female students having a higher ability to use critical thinking skills. It is expected that STEM learning can be used as a learning solution in the twenty-first century.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 32 Bandar Lampung to determine the influence of the Probing-Prompting learning model toward students' mathematical reflective thinking skills on the relations and functions learning materials. The researchers employed the quasi-experimental design. The research data was collected through a description test. This research was conducted on the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 32 Bandar Lampung. The samples consisted of sixty students determined using the cluster random sampling technique. Based on the Two-Way ANOVA test, the Probing-Prompting learning model significantly affected students' mathematical reflective thinking. Therefore, the learning model influenced the students' mathematical reflective thinking skills on the relations and functions learning materials.

Abstract

The implementation of this study aims to ensure the effectiveness of the Integrating Society, Science, Environment, Technology, and Collaborative Mind Mapping (ISSETCM2) learning model on mathematical literacy skills in terms of adversity quotient (AQ). This research design is quasi-experimental, with the population being all eighth-grade students in the academic year 2021/2022. The research sample was selected by cluster random. The average value of the mathematical literacy ability of the experimental class students is 72.03, and that of the control class is 50.34. Based on data interpretation and analysis of variance (ANOVA) of two-path unequal cells with a significant value of . The value of Sig is 0.001, so Sig . Based on the data, there are differences in the results of mathematical literacy skills between the learning model (ISSETCM2) and direct instruction learning models. Also, there are differences in adversity quotient categories (climbers, campers, and quitters) on mathematical literacy abilities. There is no interaction between learning model factors and adversity quotient on the results of students' mathematical literacy abilities. From these data, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the ISSETCM2 learning model on mathematical literacy skills in terms of the adversity quotient of class VIII. The research results show that each student has a different adversity quotient, which can affect students' mathematical reasoning abilities. For this reason, students need to know the adversity quotient to maximize their abilities.
