Abstract

The socio-economic changes occurring in the agricultural sector have a significant impact on the welfare of farmers. These changes include shifts in production patterns, fluctuations in agricultural prices, rising production costs, and changes in the social structure of rural communities. This situation requires farmers to adapt in order to sustain their livelihoods and improve their family's welfare. This study aims to analyze socio-economic changes and their impact on farmers' welfare. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that socio-economic changes have a dual impact on farmers' welfare. On one hand, innovations and modernization in agriculture have the potential to increase productivity, but on the other hand, limited access to capital, technology, and markets prevents farmers' welfare from improving optimally. Therefore, active involvement of the government and relevant institutions is needed to support farmers' empowerment through favorable policies, strengthening farmers' institutions, and increasing access to production resources to achieve sustainable farmers' welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions learning model assisted by Quizizz on the motivation of Islamic Religious Education students in SKI subjects at MTs Ismaria Alquraniyyah Bandar Lampung. This study uses a quantitative approach, quasi-experimental design. Class VII C was used as the experimental class and class VII B as the control class. The final test was in the form of a post-test using a non-test instrument (questionnaire). The tests used were instrument tests (validity and reliability), prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity), and hypothesis tests (independent sample t-test). Based on the research results, a reliability value of 0.900 > 0.6 was obtained. Then, in testing the Independent Sample T-Test hypothesis, a sig. value of 0.871 > 0.005 was obtained, so Ha was rejected. This does not indicate any effect on student learning motivation between classes that use the Student Teams Achievement Divisions learning model assisted by Quizizz and classes that use conventional learning. The implication of this study is that it is important to find solutions through the use of more interesting and interactive media and models. This study proposes a different approach by combining the Quizizz-based Student Teams Achievement Divisions learning model. This study focuses on the aspect of learning motivation in Islamic Cultural History.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers' strategies in overcoming students' learning difficulties in the affective domain in Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 04 Tanjung Raja. The problems found include low interest and motivation to learn, lack of discipline, poor attention, and students' difficulties in internalizing religious values into their daily behavior. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, vice principal for curriculum, teachers, students, and parents. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results show that affective learning difficulties are influenced by internal factors, such as low learning motivation, physical fatigue, and differences in student abilities, as well as external factors, such as monotonous learning methods, limited learning facilities, and minimal family support. To overcome these problems, teachers implemented strategies such as providing motivation, individualized approaches, using varied learning methods, creating a conducive classroom atmosphere, and conducting continuous learning evaluations. These strategies contributed positively to improving students' attitudes, responsibility, and involvement in Islamic Religious Education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the considerations of the judges at the Administrative Court of Bandar Lampung in protecting land ownership rights in relation to the issuance of the Usage Rights Certificate (SHP), as reflected in Decision No. 8/G/2025/PTUN.BL. The dispute arose from the issuance of the SHP in the name of the Mesuji Regency Government on land that had been controlled and claimed as the property of the community without following the proper procedure for the release of rights and the resolution of valid civil legal relations with the plaintiff. This research uses a normative legal method with an empirical legal approach. The issues discussed in this study include the factors underlying the submission of property disputes to the administrative court and how the judge's reasoning is applied when reviewing the validity of the issuance of the usage rights certificate to protect the plaintiff's ownership rights. The findings show that the lawsuit was filed due to the local government's control of land without a clear resolution of civil rights, accompanied by the issuance of an SHP that was suspected to contain administrative defects. In its consideration, the administrative court judges concluded that the court's authority is limited to testing the legality of administrative decisions, not determining civil property rights. The judges emphasized the importance of applying the principles of caution, legal certainty, and the protection of citizens' rights in every action of land administration officials. The decision is deemed appropriate because it maintains a balance between public interest and the protection of public ownership rights, without exceeding the authority of the administrative court. Furthermore, this study emphasizes that certificates, as a product of state administration, cannot be viewed solely as absolute proof, but can still be tested if the issuance process involves procedural violations or the disregard of another party's civil rights.

Abstract

Quiet quitting presents a growing challenge in the healthcare sector, adversely affecting both employee performance and overall organizational outcomes. From an Islamic perspective, quiet quitting can be understood as a manifestation of the erosion of niyyah (intentionality) and ikhlāṣ (sincerity) in one’s professional duties. This study examined the influence of toxic leadership on quiet quitting among muslim healthcare professionals, with a particular focus on the mediating role of monetary incentives. Data were collected from 104 full-time muslim staff members employed in hospitals and healthcare training institutions in Palembang City through a targeted online survey. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicated that toxic leadership has a significant negative effect on perceptions of monetary rewards (β = -0.316) and a positive effect on quiet quitting behavior (β = 0.292). Moreover, monetary rewards showed a strong relationship with quiet quitting outcomes (β = 0.669). The indirect effect of toxic leadership on quiet quitting through monetary rewards (β = -0.212) suggested that toxic leadership diminishes the motivational value of compensation, thereby increasing disengagement. Collectively, toxic leadership and monetary rewards explained 41% of the variance in quiet quitting. These findings highlighted the need for healthcare organizations to implement leadership development programs and establish transparent, fair reward systems. Integrating ethical principles particularly those rooted in Islamic values of justice (ʿadl), trust (amānah), and sincerity (ikhlāṣ) can help address leadership deficiencies and foster a workplace environment that promotes commitment, cooperation, and excellence.

Abstract

Ideally, Islamic Religious Education (IRE) should develop students’ analytical thinking skills at the C4 cognitive level. However, the learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Abung Semuli is still dominated by monotonous lecturing, resulting in low student engagement, difficulty in analyzing religious concepts, and an inability to relate the material to real-life contexts. This situation leads to low learning outcomes, particularly on tasks that require analytical skills. Based on these issues, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Make-a-Match type of Cooperative Learning in improving PAI learning outcomes, specifically in the C4 cognitive domain. The study employed a quantitative approach with involving two Grade X classes: an experimental class that received the Make-a-Match treatment and a control class that was taught using conventional methods. The learning outcome test instrument consisted of 15 questions that were validated and tested for reliability, and subsequently used in both pre-tests and post-tests. Data were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests, Mann–Whitney, and independent t-tests according to the data distribution characteristics. The results indicated a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. The Mann–Whitney test yielded a significance value of 0.012, while the independent t-test yielded 0.013 (< 0.05), indicating that the Make-a-Match model has a positive effect on improving students’ learning outcomes. The card-matching activities encouraged students to analyze, compare concepts, and identify material relationships more critically, thereby enhancing C4-level abilities. In conclusion, the Make-a-Match type of Cooperative Learning is effective in improving PAI learning outcomes, particularly students’ analytical skills. This model is recommended as an innovative and interactive instructional strategy to enhance the quality of PAI learning in senior high schools
