Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing the sustainability performance of shopping malls in West Java, Indonesia, emphasizing the roles of ambidexterity orientation, strategic flexibility, and distinctive advantage. Employing a quantitative research method with a survey design, data were collected from mall managers, directors, and operational decision-makers. A structured questionnaire, based on validated constructs, measured ambidexterity orientation, strategic flexibility, distinctive advantage, and sustainability performance. The analysis used Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate the relationships among these variables. The findings indicate that ambidexterity orientation significantly enhances strategic flexibility, which, in turn, positively impacts sustainability performance. While ambidexterity orientation does not directly influence sustainability performance, its effect is fully mediated by strategic flexibility and distinctive advantage. Furthermore, strategic flexibility strongly contributes to developing distinctive advantages, which significantly drive sustainability outcomes. The results emphasize the importance of managerial adaptability and the strategic alignment of resources and capabilities in achieving long-term sustainability goals. This research provides actionable insights for shopping mall management, highlighting the need for innovation-driven strategies, resource optimization, and customer-centric approaches. By advancing the understanding of sustainability performance dynamics in an emerging market context, this study offers theoretical contributions and practical recommendations for enhancing competitive and sustainable operations.

The sampling technique uses simple random sampling with 348 respondents. Data is processed statistically using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the help of the AMOS for Windows program.Findings – The study results indicate that contextual advertising positively and significantly influences e-engagement with Content Relevance as a mediating variable. The magnitude of the critical ratio value that is greater than the minimum value indicates a significant influence simultaneously. The better the company pays attention to contextual advertising through Content Relevance, the higher the e-engagement produced. The dimension of contextual advertising with the highest contribution in forming e-engagement is effectiveness, while the lowest is visual experience. Abstract

Brand image remains pivotal in contemporary marketing discourse, particularly within niche industries. This study advances brand theory by empirically examining how product attributes, pricing strategies, service quality, and social media engagement collectively shape the brand image of refill perfumes through customer experience mediation. Employing Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) via SmartPLS, data from 332 refill perfume customers across five cities in West Java, Indonesia were analyzed using cluster sampling. Findings indicate that all examined factors significantly enhance brand image, with customer experience acting as a crucial mediator. Practically, this suggests that refill perfume businesses can strategically leverage product quality, competitive pricing, superior service, and dynamic social media presence to cultivate a robust brand identity.

Abstract

To achieve MSME innovation and performance, leadership is crucial. Burns's divided leadership into transformational and transactional styles is one of the key theories of leadership. The purpose of this essay is to pinpoint the best leadership philosophies for enhancing SME organizational performance. This study included a methodical review of the literature. According to the study's findings, transformational leadership is thought to enhance organizational performance in SMEs. Contrarily, there is little evidence that the transactional leadership style improves organizational performance in SMEs. In conclusion, transformational leadership is more crucial than transactional leadership for enhancing MSME performance. These findings help MSME executives develop transformational leadership, which is focused on the charisma of the leader.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the influence of collaborative strategy, co-innovation, and empowering government on regional performance in poverty alleviation in West Java. Addressing empirical, theoretical, and research gaps, the study seeks to bridge existing literature by examining these relationships in a context where prior research is limited. Employing a descriptive and verification design with a quantitative approach, data is collected through questionnaires distributed to the Poverty Alleviation Coordination Teams (TKPKD) across 27 regencies and cities in West Java. The study utilizes non-random quota sampling and processes the data using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to ex-plore both direct and mediated effects among the variables. The anticipated results suggest that collaborative strategy positively influences re-gional poverty alleviation performance, both directly and indirectly through the me-diating roles of co-innovation and empowering government. Additionally, the study expects to reveal that geopolitical factors, government policies, and bureaucratic leadership significantly shape the implementation of collaborative strategies in the region. This research makes a novel contribution by addressing a significant empirical gap in the study of collaborative strategies in poverty alleviation within West Java.
