Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the leadership of madrasa principals in realizing environmentally aware madrasas in State Elementary Madrasas (MIN) throughout West Lampung, including their roles in mobilizing, directing, guiding, fostering, encouraging, and providing assistance to all members of the madrasa community. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with the research sites located at MIN 1 and MIN 2 in West Lampung. Data collection used observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the madrasa principal, the Adiwiyata head, staff, and classroom teachers. Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity techniques included source triangulation and technical triangulation. The study shows how Madrasah Principals in West Lampung lead environmentally conscious initiatives at MIN. 1) They mobilise the community through motivation, role models, and forming an Adiwiyata team. 2) They integrate environmental planning with the curriculum and instil Islamic values. 3) They offer guidance through training and innovation, fostering an eco-conscious culture. 4) They promote environmental responsibility through religious and environmental activities. 5) They motivate with awards for creativity and moral growth. 6) They support green infrastructure and community partnerships.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji praktik pemungutan biaya parkir di area yang dikenal sebagai tempat parkir gratis di Alfamart Jalan Endro Suratmin, Kecamatan Sukarame, Kota Bandar Lampung, dari perspektif hukum ekonomi islam dan sosiologi hukum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kajian pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik biaya parkir dilakukan dengan penarikan tarif tertentu melalui koordinasi antara petugas parkir dan koordinator lapangan. Meskipun beberapa petugas parkir telah mendapat izin dari Alfamart, praktik ini masih menimbulkan masalah karena tidak sesuai dengan area yang dipahami masyarakat sebagai tempat parkir gratis. Dari perspektif hukum ekonomi syariah, praktik ini belum sepenuhnya memenuhi prinsip keadilan, transparansi, dan kesepakatan bersama (an-taradin) dalam kontrak ijarah. Sementara itu, dari sudut pandang sosiologi hukum, kelanjutan praktik ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor ekonomi, pengawasan yang lemah, dan kebiasaan sosial di mana orang menerima layanan parkir karena alasan keamanan dan kenyamanan. Studi ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kesadaran hukum, memperjelas regulasi, dan meningkatkan pengawasan dalam pengelolaan parkir agar tercipta kepastian hukum dan keadilan bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Minyak jelantah merupakan limbah rumah tangga yang jika tidak dikelola dengan benar dapat mencemari lingkungan dan membahayakan kesehatan. Rendahnya kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar menjadi tantangan tersendiri di wilayah-wilayah pelosok seperti Sulawesi Selatan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi lingkungan siswa melalui edukasi pengelolaan minyak jelantah. Kegiatan dilakukan di SDN 2 Rappoa, Kabupaten Bantaeng, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, meliputi penyuluhan, praktik pembuatan lilin aromaterapi dari minyak jelantah, serta lomba poster daur ulang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa sebesar 45%, serta munculnya antusiasme tinggi terhadap praktik daur ulang. Dokumentasi menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dan guru dalam semua tahapan kegiatan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze entrepreneurial management as an effort to develop the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) through the role of LAZISWA (Institution for Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah Management). The background of this research is based on the importance of economic self-reliance in supporting the sustainability of Islamic-based educational institutions. In this context, entrepreneurship becomes an effective strategy, particularly when it is managed systematically and supported by internal funding sources such as LAZISWA. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The collected data are then analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, which consist of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that entrepreneurial management in the pesantren has been implemented systematically through the application of integrated management functions in managing various business units. The presence of LAZISWA plays a significant role as a source of productive funding that supports the development and sustainability of these business units. The synergy between entrepreneurial management and the utilization of LAZISWA funds has encouraged the establishment of various productive enterprises, contributing to the economic independence of the pesantren, improving the welfare of its community members, and strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit among the students

Abstract

This study aims to design a student worksheet grounded in the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness to enhance junior high school students' mathematical problem-solving skills in the topic of number patterns. Employing the Plomp development framework, the research followed three sequential phases: preliminary investigation, design, and assessment. The needs analysis identified limitations in conventional teaching practices and inadequate learning resources, which often hinder student understanding. The developed worksheet integrates the five essential stages of PBL and was validated through expert evaluation, limited trials, and broader implementation. Results demonstrated that the worksheet was highly valid with an average expert score of 3.71. Practicality testing showed strong user engagement and clarity, with a score of 83.8%, while effectiveness was confirmed by a 91.4% student mastery rate in mathematical problem-solving based on Polya’s stages. These findings suggest that the PBL-based worksheet significantly contributes to students' cognitive development and offers a viable instructional tool for mathematics education.

Abstract

Family films function as a medium of communication, entertainment, and a social mirror that reflects the dynamics and values of family life. One example is Gara Gara Warisan, an Indonesian comedy-drama that raises the issue of inheritance disputes and highlights the importance of communication, justice, and togetherness within the family. This study aims to analyze the representation of inheritance law in the film through Roland Barthes’ semiotic perspective and the Indonesian inheritance system. The research is a descriptive-qualitative study employing a semantic approach and inductive analysis, using secondary data derived from the film Gara Gara Warisan. Dialogues in the film are classified based on semiotic parameters, then analyzed using Roland Barthes’ theory and the Indonesian inheritance system to identify consistent patterns of meaning. The findings indicate that the concept of inheritance in Gara Gara Warisan presents multiple layers of meaning from Roland Barthes’ semiotic perspective and reflects the dynamics of inheritance law in Indonesia. This study implies that the understanding of inheritance law is closely related to concepts perceived by society. Such concepts must embody principles of togetherness, justice, and utility.

Abstract

The rise of social media has created a digital public sphere that enables users to express their opinions on social and political issues openly and in real-time. One of the most discussed topics on social media platform X is the trending hashtag #IndonesiaGelap, which reflects public concern and criticism regarding various governmental and societal conditions. This study aims to conduct sentiment analysis on tweets containing the hashtag to determine the overall sentiment trend among users. The method employed in this research is the Naive Bayes classification algorithm, known for its simplicity and effectiveness in text classification. To enhance the model’s performance, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is applied to optimize feature selection and parameter tuning. The dataset consists of public tweets collected via the Twitter API, followed by preprocessing, feature extraction using TF-IDF, and sentiment classification into three categories: positive, negative, and neutral. The results indicate that the integration of PSO significantly improves the classification accuracy of the Naive Bayes model compared to the baseline. The majority of tweets related to #IndonesiaGelap exhibit a negative sentiment, indicating widespread public dissatisfaction and criticism. This research is expected to contribute to a better understanding of public perception and serve as valuable input for stakeholders in addressing social issues in the digital age.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap realitas gangguan emosional baby blues yang dialami ibu nifas serta menganalisis peran penting dukungan suami dari perspektif hukum Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap lima ibu pasca melahirkan dan dua suami di beberapa kelurahan di Kota Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden mengalami gejala baby blues yang dipicu oleh tekanan emosional, kelelahan fisik, konflik keluarga, dan minimnya dukungan dari pasangan. Suami cenderung kurang memahami kondisi psikis istri pasca melahirkan, sehingga kontribusi mereka dalam proses pemulihan emosional belum optimal. Dalam ajaran Islam, suami memiliki tanggung jawab lahir dan batin dalam mendampingi istri, termasuk selama masa nifas. Hal ini ditegaskan dalam Q.S. an-Nisā' [4]: 19 dan Q.S. al-Aḥqāf [46]: 15 yang menekankan pentingnya memperlakukan istri dengan baik serta menghormati perjuangan mereka dalam masa kehamilan dan melahirkan. Melalui pendekatan maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, dukungan suami terhadap istri selama masa nifas dapat dikaitkan dengan perlindungan terhadap agama (ḥifẓ al-dīn), jiwa (ḥifẓ al-nafs), akal (ḥifẓ al-‘aql), keturunan (ḥifẓ al-nasl), dan harta (ḥifẓ al-māl). Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa dukungan emosional dari suami berperan penting dalam mencegah dan mengurangi dampak baby blues, sekaligus memperkuat keharmonisan rumah tangga sesuai nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the application of prophetic values in school principal leadership and examine its implications for organizational culture at SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies of the principal, vice principal, administrative head, and several teachers. The results of the study show that the principal applies the value of Shiddiq through honesty and transparency, Amanah through responsibility and accountability, Fathanah through wisdom in decision making, and Tabligh through participatory communication and moral exemplary behavior. The application of these four values contributes to improving teacher professionalism, a collaborative work climate, and effective school management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts of SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in building its brand image as a means of increasing the interest of new students. The approach used is descriptive qualitative phenomenological with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that brand image formation is carried out through three main dimensions, namely corporate image, user image, and product image. Corporate image is built through academic and non-academic achievements, teacher professionalism, and public communication that is adaptive to digital developments. User image is formed through the development of religious, disciplined, and inclusive character, which reflects the ethical and integrity-based behavior of students. Meanwhile, product image is demonstrated through modern facilities, quality educational services, and excellent programs that are relevant to the needs of students. The synergy of these three aspects strengthens public trust, increases the number of applicants each year, and affirms SMANDA's position as a competitive and character-building educational institution in Lampung Province.
