Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan menulis siswa pada pembelajaran keterampilan menulis narasi pada kelas tinggi. Hal ini disebabkan karena beberapa masalah yang dialami siswa, diantaranya siswa tidak mengetahui unsur-unsur dalam menulis karangan narasi, penggunaan kata dan tanda baca yang benar, cara menyusun kalimat serta mengungkapkan ide yang dimiliki ke dalam karangan narasi. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan peningkatan pretest dan post test dengan menggunakan strategi POW + C-SPACE terhadap keterampilan menulis narasi siswa kelas V SDN 102 Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan metode pre-experimental design. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes keterampilan menulis narasi dalam pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian diperoleh peningkatan yang signifikan antara nilai rata-rata kelas pada tes awal (pretest) yaitu 60,36 dan nilai rata-rata kelas pada tes akhir (posttest) yaitu 79,9. Pada indeks gain terdapat perbedaan dengan rata-rata peningkatan 0,51 yaitu kategori sedang.

Abstract

This training activity aims to provide teachers with knowledge and skills in making kokodema an environmentally friendly medium in reducing plastic waste pollution in schools. The activities carried out consist of three activity activities, namely pre-activity, implementation of activities, and post-activity. Pre-activity activities are initial exploratory activities to find reasons for teachers/activity participants to participate in activities. While the implementation of the activity has carried out by providing a list of questions to the teacher/participant, which contained the teacher's initial knowledge of kokedama as an environmentally friendly medium, then continued with the delivery of material. The third activity is post-activity, an activity to process data obtained from participant/teacher responses before and after the activity has carried out. Training activities for making kokodema an environmentally friendly medium can increase the knowledge and skills of teachers in reducing plastic waste pollution in schools. This has shown by the active participation of the participants in participating in training activities ranging from delivering material, taking an active role in discussions, carrying out kokedama making practices and participating actively in evaluation and reflection activities.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the facts found in class V SD Negeri 021 Bunga Tanjung, which shows the results of social studies is still relatively low. The problems of the research is "whether the inquiry method can improve learning outcomes IPS class V SD Negeri 021 Bunga Tanjung?". The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School Class V Bunga Tanjung 021 with the application method of inquiry. The hypothesis in this study, if applicable, the inquiry method can improve learning outcomes IPS class V SD Negeri 021 Bunga Tanjung. This research was conducted in Tanjung Bunga Elementary School in March 2016. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. The subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 021 Bunga Tanjung year 2015/2016 subject is composed of 30 students 14 male students and 16 female students. Based on the results of teacher sheet seen rising every meeting. At the meeting of the first cycle of 65%, the second meeting of the first cycle of 75% and in the fourth meeting of the second cycle of 80%, the fifth meeting of the second cycle of 90%. While student activity also increased every meeting. In the first cycle of unity meeting 64.44%, the second meeting of the first cycle of 70% and the second cycle keenpat meeting of 78.89%, and the fifth meeting of the second cycle of 85%. The results of study in the first cycle increased by 6.33% from the base score of 66.67%. Became 73.33%. In the second cycle increased by 20% to 93.33%. The average value of the basic score of 69.00, the UH I rose to 71.67, with an increase of 3.87%, the UH II average value increased to 75.83% with an increase of 5.80% , Thus, the results of this study in accordance with the hypothesis of action. Keywords: Application, Methods of Inquiry, Learning Outcomes IPS

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is less of result in writing skills at grade III class. This is because teachers taught monotone, did not use instructional media, and lack of mastered classes by teachers. Therefore, this research aimed to improve the narrative essay in student writing skills by using picture series. This research was done in class IIIC SD Negeri 94 Pekanbaru. The total of number 37 students. The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK). This research using data analysis techniques activities of teachers and students activities, the analysis of narrative essay writing skills as well as improving narrative essay writing skills. Based on the results of this research by using the media picture series, the student’s skill every cycle has increased the average on the basis of score obtained from homeroom III 53,51, after conducted the action in the first cycle increased to 60,24 and the second cycle increased to 72,81. It can be concluded that using media picture series can improve the writing skills narrative essay third grade students of SD Negeri 94 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Picture series, writing skills, essay narrative

Abstract

Abstract: This study departed from low yields learn science, with the average achieved learning outcomes at 65.50 with the percentage of 43.33% completeness. The low yield is due to the study: (1) students feel bored, passive, and does not have the initiative to resolve an issue that is given by the teacher, so that in solving a problem the students were only waiting for an answer from the teacher or other students; (2) learning activities in science subjects are not oriented to students but still oriented or centered on the teacher (teaching center); and (3) the learning process is centered on the teacher and the only important or oriented on the end result rather than the process of student learning. Based on this the researchers conducted a study class action by applying inquiry learning model. This research was conducted at SDN 04 Padang Mutung Kecamatan Kampar, with research subjects class V students with the enrollment of 30 students, with details of 13 male students and 17 female students. This research was conducted as many as two cycles, data collection techniques used were observation and written tests. The study states that the implementation of inquiry learning model can increase the activity of teachers and students and learning outcomes IPA. This is evidenced by: (a) mastery learning students has increased, the base score increased to 19 people in the first cycle, then increased to 25 people in the second cycle. The average learning outcomes increased from a base score is 55.67 into 72.00 in the first cycle and 76.50 in the second cycle; (B) the activities of teachers in the first cycle teacher meeting I earn a percentage of 57.50% in the first cycle II meeting to obtain a percentage increase of 65.00%. In the second cycle was a meeting I earn a percentage of 75.00% and in the second meeting of the second cycle gained 87.50%; and (c) the activity of students in the first cycle teacher meeting I earn a percentage of 60.71% in the first cycle II meeting to obtain an increase of the percentage of 75.00%. In the second cycle was a meeting I earn a percentage 82.14% and in the second meeting of the second cycle gained 89.29%. Abstract: The phenomenon of learning outcomes Social Sciences (IPS) grade 4 (four) MI Al Muhsinin Woods Crossing on material development of production technology still has not been done well. This fact is evident from Deuteronomy Days Before Cycle found students who did not complete as many 11orang (55.00%), while the number of students who completed as many as 9 people (45.00%) with an average grade 59.50 and Criteria for completeness Minimal specified school is 70.00. The purpose of this study improve the learning process in an effort to improve the results of social studies in grade IV MI Al-Muhsinin Rimba Melintang with the implementation of cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share (TPS). While the expected benefits in the implementation of cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share (TPS) to enhance the knowledge shaping the character of the students so that the ability to think, speak with IPS good in accordance with the standards of the national curriculum and also can be a reference for future researchers as reference material as well as an addition to insights for teachers MI / elementary school. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) as the second cycle was conducted in April 2016 in MI Al Muhsinin Rimba Melintang. At each cycle performed two (2) meetings of learning and 1 (one) meetings for the Daily Deuteronomy done, then do the reflection to determine the next treatment. Based on the analysis of the research with the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) preliminary data result of learning or Pre-cycle value of the average grade 59.50 with the percentage of completeness 45.00%, the first cycle increased to the value of the average grade 69.25 or the percentage of completeness 60.00% , on the second cycle increased the acquisition value of the average grade 75.50 with a percentage of 85.00% completeness. The conclusion from this study can improve learning outcomes IPS on the material development of production technology in class IV MI Al-Muhsinin Rimba Melintang. Key Word : Type Think Pair Share ( TPS ), Learning Outcomes IPS.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low of IPA achievement in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 19 Batang Duku, with an average grade 58.50. While the value of a minimum completeness criteria (KKM) IPA is 65. Among the ten students, only three students who reach KKM. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted aims to increase IPA achievement of Elementary School fourth grade students 19 Batang Duku by applying the cooperative learning type Number Heads Together. Data collection instruments in this thesis is the teacher and student activity sheets and learning outcomes. This thesis presents the results of studying the data obtained from the average results of study before action 58.50 to 17.94% to 69.00 in cycle I. In the second cycle increased to 11.59% with an average of 77.00. The activities of teachers in the first cycle of the first meeting to obtain a percentage of 67.85% with the good category, at the second meeting has increased with the percentage of 71.42% both categories. Furthermore, the first meeting of the second cycle of teacher activity also increased with the percentage of 85.71% is very good category and at the second meeting of the second cycle increased again with a percentage of 96.42% is very good category. Activity of students in the first cycle of the first meeting to obtain the percentage of 67.85% less category, at the second meeting has increased by 75% the percentage of both categories, the students begin to understand this cycle of learning activities by applying the type Number Heads Together (NHT) is characterized by the activity of students in the first meeting of the second cycle increased with the percentage of 85.71% is very good category. At the second meeting of the second cycle increased with the percentage of 92.85% is very good category. This research in the fourth grade Elementary School 19 Batang Duku prove that the application of the Number Heads Together (NHT) can increase IPA achievement of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 19 Batang Duku.Keywords : Model Number Heads Together (NHT), IPA achievement

Abstract

Abstract: SAS method (Structural Analytical Synthetic) in beginning reading  skill improvement in I Grade Primary School. This research aim to describe: a step-by-step method of SAS (Structural Analytical Synthetic) that can improve beginning reading and improved reading skills beginning first grade elementary school students. This research uses classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results include: the use of measures SAS method can work well and improve the I grade read the beginning of elementary school. Background problem in this research is the low reading skills of students who do not reach KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) established by the school which is 72 to 21 the number of students who do not reach KKM 11 students (52.3%) and who completed 9 students (42, 8%). Based on the problem, the researchers conducted a PTK using SAS. In using this method, the quality of the learning process has increased. Based on data from this study can be seen from the observation of student activity in the first cycle with a percentage of 60% the first meeting enough categories, 75% meeting II both categories increased in the second cycle to 80% in the first meeting either category, and 95% meeting II category very well. Activities of teachers also increased from 75% in both categories dipertemuan I, 80% II meeting both categories in the first cycle and to 85% with very good category at the first meeting and 90% II meeting with the category very well in the second cycle. Preliminary data as the basis of a score of 21 students averaged 67.07, and the first cycle increased to 68.72 (2.46%), on the second cycle increased to 80.80 (20.47%). From the above data it can be concluded by applying SAS can improve the results of the reading skills of students of class I SDN 88 Pekanbaru. Keywords: beggining reading skill. SAS method

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to see whether there are differences in IPS learning outcomes between introvert and extroverted personality types in class V SD Negeri 110 Pekanbaru. In this research using Sample Sampling technique on sampling of 107 students. Research instrument of collecting data in the form of questionnaire that has been validated by validator and documentation. After done the data processing questionnaire introvert and extrovert personality types then got students who have introverted personality as much as 26 students while extrovert personality as much as 67 people and for students who balance as many as 14 people. From the analysis of learning outcomes obtained the average of introvert personality type 72.88 and extrovert 75.08. From the normality test for introverted personality type, amax value (0.038) < Dtabel (0,266), then H0 accepted means that the data of introvert personality type is normally distributed. And the extroverted personality data type is obtained by amax value (0.018) < Dtabel (0,166), then H0 is accepted means the data of introvert personality type is normally distributed. From the data above obtained that the data introvert and extrovert personality types are normally distributed. After doing the normality test the researchers conducted homogeneity test. After the homogeneity test data obtained value Fhitung (0.038) < Ftabel (1.48), then H0 accepted means the data has a homogeneous variance. Based on t test results obtained t hitung (0.621) < t tabel (1.644), then H0 accepted means there is a difference between learning results IPS introvert personality type and extrovert. Where extroverted learning outcomes are higher than introverted learning outcomes.Keywords: Introverted and Ekstroverted Personality Type, Learning Outcomes IPS.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted because of the low achievement on science and social subjects of student class IVC SDN 26 Pekanbaru, KKM set at the school is 75. Out of 24 students that reached the KKM only 11 students (45.83%), while students who not reached the KKM were 13 students (54.16%) with average class of 64.79%. To solve the problem, researcher applied the learning model of problem-based learning. The purpose of this research is to improve students’ achievement with the theme of the area where I live subtheme 1 and subtheme 2 class IVC SDN 26 Pekanbaru with the application of problem-based learning model. After applying problem-based learning model in cycle I mastery learning classical students increased to 62,50% (not complete) and in cycle II mastery learning classical students become 87.50% (complete). First meeting of cycle I, teacher activity had percentage of 60% with good category. At second meeting increased to 85% with very good category. First meeting of cycle II teacher activity increased to 70% with good category. At second meeting it became 85% with very good category. First meeting of cycle I, student activity’s percentage is 60% with enough category. At second meeting become 85% with very good category. First meeting of cycle II, student activity increased to 60% with enough category. At second meeting became 85% with very good category.
