Abstract

Abstract: Reading is a way to improve knowledge, expand information and add insight about something that is not yet known. To improve the understanding and mastery of students' learning material, there is a need for interest in reading. The lack of students' interest in reading books can affect students' science learning outcomes. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to find out whether there was a significant relationship between reading interest and science learning outcomes of fifth grade Elementary School in Regional II of Tampan District, Pekanbaru. This research is a type of quantitative research using the correlation method. The subjects in this research were fifth grade students of elementary school in regional II of Tampan District, Pekanbaru. The sample of this researchis 123 students taken randomly using a percentage of the population of 25%. Data collection technique used is a questionnaire that contains students' reading interest and documentation. The data analysis technique using Pearson Product Moment. Based on the results of data analysis it is known that students have moderate reading interest and moderate learning outcomes as well as from the results of the correlation test the rcount obtained is 0,435> rtable is 0,177 and the significance is 0,000 <0,05. Thus, it can be seen that there is a significant relationship between reading interest and sciences learning outcomes of fifth gradeElementary School in Regional II Tampan, Pekanbaru. The degree relationship included in the category is quite strong with coefficient of determination of 18.92%.Key Words: reading interest, science learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research was aimed to increase students achievement of social lesson in IV grade year of 2015/2016. The subject of this research in students IV grade of state Elementary School 011 Banjar XII which is total of 18 students, consisted of 8 girls and 10 boys. This was a classroom research which has two cycles which was conducted on April 06th to May 13th 2015. The data shown that either learning process or students achievement increased. This was found from students and teachers scores in learning process increased. First cycle at the first meeting teacher’s activity was 66,6%categorized as good and increased 4,2% at the second meeting as 70,8% categorized as good. Meanwhile at the second cycle at the first meeting the percentage of teacher’s activity increased as 83,3% categorized as very good and in the second meeting it increased as 8,4% so the percentage became 91,7% categorized as very good. While students activities in learning process also increased. At the first cycle in the first meeting, the percentage of students activities was 62,5% categorized as good and the second meeting it increased as 4,1% so became 66,6% categorized as good. At the second cycle in the first meeting it increased to 83,3% categorized as very good. At the second meeting the percentage of students’ activities increased as 4,2% became 87,5% categorized as very good. However, students’ achievement also increased. The basic score of daily examination as 12,44% which 10 students passed and 8 students failed. The ending of daily examination was 55,56% and the average 67,78 on the passing grade. The second daily examination also increased from daily examination of as 16,39% which 15 students passed and 3 students failed. The ending of second daily examination was 83,33% and the average was 78,89. Based on the explanation above it can be concluded that the implementation cooperative learning make a match thype to increase students achievement in social lesson of students IV grade of State Elementary School 011 banjar XII.Key Words : Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share Thype, Social Lesso

Abstract

Abstract :The problem onthis research is that low student’sscience learningoutcomes,this seen from average is 68,47. From 36 students who achieve Minimum Criteria for completeness is 16 students (44,44%),and students who notachieve Minimum Criteria for completeness is 20students (55,56%), minimun completeness criteria of SD Negeri 21 Pekanbaru is 70. Based on these problems need to be done to implement the action research model of Learning Cycle (LC). Thisresearch toimprove learning outcomesgradeIVAof SDN21Pekanbaru in academic year of2014/2015with 36students, the consisting of 16 male’sand 20 female’s.This research was done in three cycles. First cycle consists of two meetings with one daily test and cycle II consists of two meeting with one daily test and cycle III consists of two meeting with one daily test. Percentage of completeness in basic score was 44,44% with average is 68,47 and it changed into 66,67% with average is 73,44 in the first cycle, and the second cycle increased to 77,78% with average is77,55, and the third cycle increased to 88,89% with average is 85.The percentage of teacher activity also increased, this seen from the percentage of all teachers in the first cycle of 73,75% increased to 83,75% in the second cycle, and increased again in the third cycle is 93,75%. The percentage of student activity also increased from 73,75% in the first cycle increased to 82,5% in the second cycle and increased again to 93,75% in the third cycle. From the above explanationit can be concludedthatthrough the application ofLearning Cyclemodels, canimprove learning outcomesIVAgrade science studentsat SDN21Pekanbaru in academic 2014/2015. Abstract: The purpose of this research was to determine the professional competence of the State Primary School Teachers' Cluster II Marpoyan Damai District Pekanbaru. This type of research was descriptive with quantitative approach that provides an overview of the state of progress on the object of research was analysis of Professional Competence State Primary School Teachers Cluster II Marpoyan Damai District Pekanbaru. The sample was used in this research that teachers are stratified S1 as many as 46 teachers. The research instrument used in the form of a questionnaire. The research was concluded that the professional competence of public elementary school teachers Cluster II Marpoyan Damai District Pekanbaru overall indicator reached 58.96% with a good enough category.Key Words: Teacher Professional Competence

Abstract: Indonesian language learning in class V SDN 12 Pangkalan Jambi, especially in the reading comprehension skills of students is still less than optimal. From the results of preliminary observations Obtained the data is that the average value of students in reading comprehension of children's story only Reached 53.50 (7 students) are skilled at reading comprehension. The purpose of this research is to improve the reading comprehension skills of children's story Grade Students of SDN 12 bases Jambi Application of Learning Model Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R). The research problems are: Is the Application of Learning Model Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R) can Improve Reading Comprehension Skills Student Class V SDN 12 Pangkalan Jambi?. The results of the study skills of reading comprehension Obtained from the children's story I cycle I UH and UH II in the second cycle. In the first cycle percentage value pemhamana children's story reading skills of students is 70.5 (medium category) and Increased in the second cycle with an average of 83.75 (high category. The results of the data to the analysis activities of teachers and students during the learning takes place in class V SDN 12 namely Jambi base percentage of teachers in implementing the learning activities in the first cycle of the first meeting 66.67% with enough categories and at the second meeting with a percentage increase of of 75.00% in both categories, and on the second cycle of the first meeting 87.5% excellent category and Increased again in the second meeting is 95.83% with the category very well, and the activity of students in the first cycle of the first meeting with a 62.5% enough category and the second meeting is 70.83% with both categories. in the second cycle of 83.33% of the first meeting with a good category and the second meeting is 91.67% with the category very well. Abstract

Abstract: This research is a classroom action research (CAR) is done with the aim to improve learning outcomes IPS third grade students of SDN 013 Bagan Hulu. Research motivated by low yields social studies students is 65.00 by the number of students as many as 20 people. This study aims to improve learning outcomes IPS third grade students of SDN 013 Bagan Hulu to implement cooperative learning model type STAD. This study was conducted using research instrument in the form of observation sheets, and sheets achievement test. Based on the results of data analysis after the study was conducted by two cycles, it is known that the use of cooperative learning model STAD teacher can increase the activity of 79.17 in the first cycle of the meeting rose to 95.83 at the end of the cycle two. Furthermore kativitas students also increased from 66.67 in the first meeting of the cycle, increasing to 95.83 in cycle two. Increased activity was also accompanied by an increase in student learning outcomes IPS students. The average score of student learning outcomes 61.11 thereafter act as much as two cycles also increased to 94.44. Thus the implementation of cooperative learning model type of STD can improve learning outcomes by 0.54%. These research findings could prove the hypothesis of the research application STAD type of cooperative learning model can improve learning outcomes IPS class III SDN 013 Bagan Hulu. Abstract

Abstrack: This study was motivated by the motivation of students in reading contained in the education system that will foster student understanding of the text in the course PGSD University of Riau. Motivation to read is driving students to be enterprising activities in reading, while a text comprehension language skills are mastered to obtain readings meaning is understood primarily in a reading. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of motivation in reading the text comprehension of students of primary school teacher education class of 2013. Methods used in this study is quantitative. The study population was all students of the University of Riau PGSD force in 2013, amounting to 135 people. The samples were all students PGSD force in 2013 so this research is called the study population. The data collected in this study is the motivation for reading data from a questionnaire and a text understanding about the text. Based on the analysis of data, it can be concluded that There is a significant relationship between motivation in reading comprehension texts with students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education sub-program of study primary school teaching force in 2013, with the value of the correlation (rxy) of 0,277 are in the positive direction which lies in Low-level relationships and the acquisition value of tindicates that t count greater than 3,319 ttable 1,645 at 5% significance level. Thus the higher the motivation in the reading, the higher the level of understanding of the text and vice versa, the lower the motivation to read it will get worse also the understanding of the text.Keywords: Motivation In Reading, Comprehension TextWisuda Oktober

Abstract

Abstract: The research was done because low of ability writing poetry study result of the fourth grade students at SDN 06 Kadur, Rupat Utara subdistrict. KKM stated at school was 70. From 20 students, only 8 students that reached KKM (40,00%), whereas student did not still reach KKM yet were 12 students (60,00%). With score mean of class was 62,53. For solving the problem, there for the researcher implement learning model of talking chips type. The goal of research was for increasing ability writing poetry study result of the fourth grade students at SDN 06 Kadur by implementing learning model of talking chips type. The research was classroom action research. The technique of collecting data by using observation and test. The result of research was collected at first meeting of cycles, the teacher’s activity on classification “enough” (54,17%), after at second meeting, that known the teacher’s activity on classification “good”(70,83%). at first meeting of cycles II, teacher’s activity on classification ” very good”(83,33%), after at second meeting teacher’s activity on classification “very good”(91,66%). At first meeting cycle I, students’ activity on classification “poor”(50,00%), at second meeting students’ activity on classification ”good” (75,00%). At first meeting of cycles II, the students’ activity on classification “good”(79,17%). At second meeting students’ activity on classification“very good”(87,50). At cycles 1 known that total of students reached KKM were 14 students (70,00%) with mean score 77,25. At cycles II, total of students reached KKM were 18 students (90,00%) with mean score 87,25. Based on this research can be concluded that by implementing cooperative learning model of talking chips type can increase ability writing poetry study result of the fourth grade students at SDN 06 Kadur sub-district Rupat Utara.Key word: Cooperative of talking chips type, social studies students achievement

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the low learning result of students' mathematics. Researchers suspect that one of the factors penyebanya is the lack of motivation of students to math lessons. The purpose of this study is to determine the significant relationship between learning motivation on the results of learning mathematics. This study is expected to provide benefits and images to determine the relationship between learning motivation with learning outcomes and how much influence between learning motivation and learning outcomes. This research was conducted in Class IV SD Cluster III of Rumbai Pesisir District. This research uses quantitative descriptive research that aims to find and describe the picture of the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes. The data obtained is quantitative data or numbers that can be viewed from the results of the analysis that is in the form of questionnaire data and learning result data. The population of the study amounted to 287 students, samples taken as many as 86 students. The results of this study there is a relationship between motivation with learning outcomes with correlation coefficient of 0.304. then Ha is accepted, meaning there is a significant relationship between the variable X (learning motivation) with variable Y (learning outcomes) with the level of relationship between low variables, significant relationships can be seen from titung of 2.920 and ttable of 1.989. If thitung ≥ ttabel, 2,920 ≥ 1,989 then Ho rejected which means there is a significant relationship between learning motivation with student learning outcomes. Motivation in learning gives a relationship of 9.2% and the rest of 90.8% influenced by other factors.. Keywords : Learning Motivation, Mathematics learning outcomes

Beauteous Waters School Years 2014 / 2015. This research is executed deep two cycles, whereabouts on each cycle it consisting of two-time appointment gazes to show face and once daily dry run. With be applied Model Learning Numbered Head Together (NHT), therefore gets to increase IPS'S studying result student brazes IV. SDN 002 i.
