The wetonan tradition is a birth calculation system based on the Javanese calendar, a cultural heritage of the Javanese indigenous people that is rich in spiritual values and local wisdom. In this context, the wetonan tradition is not only a series of ceremonies or astrological calculations, but also a cultural heritage that includes local wisdom values and spiritual beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. In the current era of globalization, the wetonan tradition is faced with various challenges that threaten its survival. Changes in people’s attitudes and mindsets, urbanization, and doubts about traditional values are some of the main challenges. Shifting values and priorities in society, changes in value and belief systems, and doubts about the role of tradition in the era of globalization are some of the main challenges. However, preserving the wetonan tradition is crucial to maintaining a rich and diverse cultural identity and strengthening the solidarity of Javanese indigenous communities. To maintain and face the challenges of the wetonan tradition remaining relevant and valued by the community, concrete steps are needed. In facing this challenge, it is important to continue to educate the public about the cultural and spiritual values contained in the wetonan tradition, as well as to replant these values to strengthen the sustainability of the wetonan tradition amid the ongoing flow of modernization and globalization. Thus, the wetonan tradition can continue to live and develop as an integral part of the cultural identity of Javanese society. The preservation of this tradition not only ensures the continuity of a rich cultural heritage, but also strengthens solidarity and togetherness in Javanese indigenous communities. Therefore, measures to maintain and preserve the wetonan tradition need to be continuously strengthened to ensure that this cultural heritage remains alive and relevant for future generations.

Extracurricular activity organizations are student communities at school that run outside of class hours. This organization focuses on non-academic activities that usually capture student’s interests and talents. Through this platform, students need to develop their abilities and improve these abilities with valuable results. Through the organization of extracurricular activities, students can get a supportive environment to support student motivation to achieve. Achievements are not only in the academic field, but can be found in non-academic fields. Therefore, the results of this research show that internal roles and external roles are very important factors in building a supportive platform for achievement. Thus, it can be concluded that the organization of extracurricular activities can be a forum for supporting achievement motivation in the non-academic field for students if the internal and external organizations can build each other and establish good relationships, especially focusing on the target of developing student motivation to excel in the extracurricular field which is carried out.

The phenomenon of thrifting at Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara demonstrates the continuity and evolution of frugal shopping practices involving the purchase of second-hand items. This research delineates the long history of thrifting, from the medieval period to the emergence of organizations such as Salvation Army and Goodwill that popularized it in the 19th century. The COVID-19 pandemic has reignited interest in thrifting due to economic pressures prompting people to save on expenses. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, utilizing in-depth interviews and direct observations at Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara. The findings reveal that traders employ two main strategies: selling directly at the market and through online platforms. Meanwhile, consumers have diverse motivations, ranging from meeting household needs to a desire to collect unique and antique items. Analysis of Alfred Schutz’s phenomenological theory is used to understand the reasons and goals behind consumer’s choices in thrifting. The researcher finds that each individual has different motives, such as goal motives (In order to motive) and because motives (Because motive), underlying their decisions to engage in thrifting. The conclusion of this research is that the phenomenon of thrifting at Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara reflects the evolving and relevant dynamics of consumer culture, adapting to social and economic changes. With the evolution of this practice, the second-hand market becomes a favorite place for people to find affordable items, while traders and consumers continue to adapt to technological advancements and changes in the economic landscape. This study provides valuable insights into how thrifting is not just an economic phenomenon but also reflects the identity and preferences of consumers in a constantly changing shopping culture.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pembelajaran IPS dalam membangun serta membentuk karakter siswa yang baik dan teladan di masa perkembangan zaman dengan segala kemajuan teknologi dan informasi yang kian modern dan semakin cepat, yang mana dari adanya perkembangan ternyata juga membawa dampak yang negatif pada karakter siswa yang tidak memiliki batasan dan kendali akan penggunaan teknologi dan pemakaian informasi. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi pustaka dengan menganalisis berbagai temuan yang didapat atau diperoleh dari penelitian terkait berbagai hal mengenai pembelajaran IPS dalam membangun dan membentuk karakter siswa yang baik. Hasil penelitian dengan kepustakaan yang diperoleh memberikan pemahaman mengenai penerapan pembelajaran IPS terhadap karakter siswa yang kemudian dari penelitian ini pula dapat berfungsi sebagai sumber literatur mengenai implementasi pembelajaran IPS dalam membangun dan membentuk karakter siswa yang baik.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi urgensi penerapan pendekatan transdisipliner dalam pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan. Pendekatan tradisional yang bersifat fragmentaris tidak lagi memadai untuk menghadapi kompleksitas dunia nyata yang dinamis. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan transdisipliner yang mampu mengintegrasikan berbagai disiplin ilmu untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif dan holistik. Melalui metode studi kepustakaan, penelitian ini mengkaji berbagai perspektif teoretis dan empiris yang telah dikembangkan oleh para ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan transdisipliner dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, kolaboratif, dan komunikatif siswa. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan pendidikan IPS yang lebih relevan dan efektif dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan global.

In athlete coaching, mental factors often receive less attention than physical factors, such as technique, tactics, and strategy. This study explored the use of hypnosis as a mental exercise in coaching volleyball athletes. This study was conducted on 20 PBVSI volleyball athletes in Pidie Regency using an experimental one-group pretest-posttest design and then tested their abilities using the American Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD) volleyball playing skills test. The collected data were analysed using inferential statistics (specifically the t-test) with SPSS 27 at the 0.05 level of significance. The results showed a significant improvement in volleyball playing skills after hypnosis training, indicating its potential application in athlete coaching. Hypnosis was found to significantly improve concentration, confidence, and emotional control among athletes—key elements that contributed to overall sports performance. However, limitations of this study include the small sample size and focus on one type of sport. Therefore, further research involving larger samples across different sports is recommended for wider generalisability. In addition, long-term studies are needed to assess the sustained effects of hypnosis over time. In conclusion, our preliminary findings underscore the potential benefits of integrating mental training techniques such as hypnosis into athletic training programmes to improve performance outcomes. These results highlight the importance of considering psychological aspects alongside physical aspects in athletic training.

Abstract Purpose. This study aims to provide an understanding of the rules of the field tennis game in participants of Tennis Refereeing Training for Beginners. Method. This research is a Quantitative Descriptive Research. The sample in this study was students of the Faculty of Sports Science, State University of Jakarta who participated in the Field Tennis T&P course and 30 general participants. Data collection is carried out by providing pretest and posttest to determine the level of understanding of the rules of the court tennis game. The data analysis technique used used a t-test to see the difference between understanding the rules of the court tennis game before and after training. Result. Most participants' understanding of the rules of court tennis belonged to the medium category with an average frequency distribution value of 57.06. It is known that the value of t is 14.122 and the significance value of p is 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The mean understanding of participants before attending the training was 26.4000 with a Standard Deviation value of 5.90499.... While the mean understanding of participants before attending the training was 57.0667 with a Standard Deviation value of 10.77972. Thus, it can be concluded that there are significant differences in the understanding of court tennis rules in trainees before and after attending the Tennis Refereeing Training for Beginners. Conclusion. There was an increase in understanding after the Tennis Refereeing Training for Beginners training and the level of understanding of most participants belonged to the medium category. For this reason, it is necessary to increase experience to become a professional referee in order to sharpen understanding of the rules of the field tennis game. Thus, the referee will not make many mistakes in making decisions at the time of the match. Abstrak Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman peraturan permainan tenis lapangan pada peserta Pelatihan Perwasitan Tenis Untuk Pemula. Metode. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang mengikuti matakuliah T&P Tenis Lapangan dan peserta umum yang berjumlah 30 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan memberikan pretest dan posttest untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman terhadap peraturan permainan tenis lapangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan uji t untuk melihat perbedaan antara pemahaman peraturan permainan tenis lapangan sebelum dan setelah diberikan pelatihan. Hasil. Pemahaman sebagian besar peserta tentang peraturan tenis lapangan termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai distribusi frekuensi sebesar 57,06. Diketahui bahwa nilai t sebesar 14,122 dan nilai signifikansi p sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Mean pemahaman peserta sebelum mengikuti pelatihan sebesar 26.4000 dengan nilai Standar Deviasi sebesar 5.9049 Sementara mean pemahaman peserta sebelum mengikuti pelatihan sebesar 57.0667dengan nilai Standar Deviasi sebesar 10.77972. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan tentang pemahaman peraturan tenis lapangan pada peserta pelatihan sebelum dan setelah mengikuti Pelatihan Perwasitan Tenis Untuk Pemula. Kesimpulan. Terdapat peningkatan pemahaman setelah dilakukan pelatihan Pelatihan Perwasitan Tenis Untuk Pemula dan tingkat pemahaman sebagian besar peserta termasuk kategori sedang. Untuk itu perlunya peningkatan pengalaman untuk menjadi wasit secara professional agar lebih mempertajampemahaman terkait peraturan permainan tenis lapangan. Dengan demikian, wasit tidak akan melakukan banyak kesalahan dalam mengambil keputusan pada saat pertandingan.

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 requires teachers to adapt, master, and use technological devices supporting learning. However, the current problem is that many teachers still need help developing digital learning media for learning activities. This research aims to create interactive multimedia based on Kahoot! to increase fourth-grade elementary school student's interest in learning Social Sciences. This research uses the ADDIE model, which involves analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 30 elementary school students. This research uses a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection methods use questionnaires and tests. Data collection instruments use questionnaire sheets and test questions. Data analysis techniques use descriptive qualitative, quantitative analysis, and inferential statistics. The research results show a significant difference between the Pretest and post-test, which were treated using Kahoot! Multimedia based. Interactive multimedia based on Kahoot! can increase interest in learning Social Sciences in fourth-grade elementary school students.

In the process of learning Arabic, teachers and students often face various kinds of obstacles. This article aims to know and understand the Arabic learning process, identify obstacles during the Arabic learning process, and find solutions to overcome these obstacles. This is done in order to help the government, teachers, and students improve the quality of Arabic language learning in MI/SD. This research is a research that uses qualitative approach methods. With data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques directly in the field. When the author conducted research at MI Muhammadiyah Plus Leksono, the author found several obstacles in learning Arabic there, such as teacher obstacles in choosing the right learning strategy for students, students less focused on following Arabic learning, students in lower grades still have difficulty reading and writing in Arabic, lack of student learning motivation during the Arabic learning process, and students' lack of interest in learning Arabic. These obstacles can be used as joint evaluation materials so that Arabic language learning in MI/SD can be more qualified

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau berbagai hambatan dan kenala yang hadir dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka belajar pada proses belajar mengajar. Metode penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis literatur. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kompleksitas penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP 11 Muhammadiyah Jakarta dengan fokus pada identifikasi hambatan dan tantangan yang muncul. Temuan-temuan penelitian ini mengungkap berbagai tantangan yang menjadi hambatan dalam proses pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka, termasuk resistensi dari pemangku kebijakan sekolah, sumber daya dan sarana prasarana yang belum memadai sepenuhnya. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengungkap tantangan yang dihadapi siswa dan guru dalam beradaptasi dengan kurikulum baru, seperti kesulitan dalam menggunakan metode pembelajaran baru, waktu pembelajaran yang terbatas dan belum sepenuhnya menguasai tata cara penilaian kurikulum merdeka ini. Dengan menganalisis hambatan-hambatan ini, penelitian ini menawarkan wawasan tentang strategi potensial untuk meningkatkan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, sehingga berkontribusi pada peningkatan proses pembelajaran IPS di SMP 11 Muhammadiyah dan sekolah lain sekitarnya.
